Griffith went back to work. Making a fresh batch of cookies.

"Griffith... What kind of cookies are you baking now...?" Tobi asked, trying to start a conversation, sicne he wasn't able to work at the moment.

"Pumpkin cookies." Griffith replied

"Oh! My favorite!" Tobi cheered. His tail wagging behind him.

"Then you may have one when they cool." Griffith replied.

"Really? Thanks, Griffith!" Tobi giggled.

"NOt a problem." Griffith smiled softly as he took the cookies from the oven.

Tobi took in the sweet heavenly smell.

Griffith set then under the cooling fan

Tobi's stomach growled low in hunger. The smell of the fresh cookies really getting to him.

Griffith gently took a cookie and wrapped it in a napkin. "Here, Tobi."

Tobi's ears perked up taking the cookie from the other male. "Thanks once
more, Griffith!" He smiled taking a bit from it.

Griffith handed him a cup of pumpkin spice cappicino. "Here, dip it."

"Hm?" Tobi tilted his head slightly, dipping the cookie into the pumpkin spice cappicino. He took another bit, a smile grazing his lips. "It's delis!"

"I'm glad you like it." Griffith smiled softly.

"You bake them better than me..." Tobi chuckled. "But I think it's because I want to eat them more than bake them!" Tobi smiled finishing off the cookie.

"As longas you work here, your food is free, but you have to replace whatever you eat by making more."

Tobi nods his head. "Will do!"

Griffith nodded slightly and started to make more cookies

Tobi finished the cappicino, rasing from his seat. He stretched, heading towards his recipe book. He felt that he was being wrong for sitting too long as he started to make a cake.

"So, Tobi, what made you wish to work here?" Griffith asked as he stirred the dough

Tobi's ears twitched slightly. "I've been wanting to since I moved here. I wasn't that experienced to come here just of yet so... I practice my baking skills everyday. Plus, I love the way the customers react to the sweets! It's very exciting!" He explained softly, mixing the ingredients together.

Griffith stopped, mid stir and looked at Tobi. "That is a wonderful story, Tobi, most people aren't like you or I an find joy in such simple things."

Tobi nods in agreement. "Everyone teased me about such things but... How can you do something and not have any passion about it what-so-ever..." He turned his brown eyes towards the other male, smiling softly.

"I believe that everyone should have a fiery passion about something and that most people take the joy of others for granted...Passion should be had about something...or someone." As the word "Someone" came from Griffith's lips her looked at Tobi, smiling handsomely.

Tobi blushed faintly. "Indeed." He agreed softly. His tail swaying behind him. "Maybe... If you're not too busy, we can go have dinner or something?"

"You would like to take me to dinner?" Griffith asked softly, looking at him.

"Yes, but actually, I would love to cook you dinner." Tobi smiled.

"I would like that." Griffith smiled softly

"Really!?" Tobi cheered softly. "I would have to make my special dish just for you!"

"Oh? And what would that be?"

"If I tell you then it won't be much of surprise." Tobi giggled.

"You never said surprise." Griffith smirked.

"That mybe so, but I'm still not telling you." Tobi turned back to his work, pouring the pater into two seprate pans.

Griffith started to make a wedding cake.

"What's the occation?" Tobi asked, glancing over his shoulder. He gently placed the two pans into the oven.

"A wedding for a client." Griffith smiled, sighing dreamily. "I can't wait until I am baking my own."

Tobi smiled softly. "You will someday... and it would be too beautiful to eat!"

Griffith smiled softly. "I can only hope."

"You will. I know it!" Tobi smiled at the other male, leaning against the counter abit.

Griffith poured the batter for the cake into several pans.

Tobi watched carefully as he set the timer for his own cake in the oven. His brown eyes finding interest in the movements the other male was doing.

Griffith put the pans in the oven and smiled at Tobi

Tobi smiles back. "That's going to be a beautiful cake once your dne with it!"

"I can only hope." Griffith made his way over to Tobi, but he suddenly slipped on icing and fell foreward, his hands caught the counter, however he was pinning Tobi against the counter, his nose very close to the others.

Tobi's eyes widen, face cherry red and ears stood on ends as his nose bearly touched the other males. "Um... A-Are you alright...?" He studdered, looking into Griffith's eyes.

Griffith looked into the other male's eyes, as if he were trying to read his life through them. HIs beautiful blue eyes shook slightly.

Tobi stared into his eyes, memorized by them. His left ear flicked witheach passing moment that felt like a life time. "Griffith..."

Griffith blinked, his pupils dialated a bit as he seemed to snap back into reality. "Forgive me, I seem to be clumsy..." He slowly pulled away

"There's nothing to forgive... But are you sure you're okay...?" Tobi gently pushed himself from the counter. His brown eyes going to the icing on the floor, not knowing were it came from, the cat boy began clean it up.

"Yes I am fine..." Griffith kept his back to the younger male.

Tobi looked up from his work, with a worried look on hi face. "You don't seem like it..." His ears lowered, pressing against his brown curls.

"I am fine..." Griffith whispered, one hand on his heart and the otheron his pendant.

Tobi nods, not wanting to push the issue to much. He finished cleaning the mess, turning to his work that was in the oven beeping. Quickly, the neko grabbed a pair of oven mits and gently pulled out the hot pans, setting them on the conter to cool. A sigh of relife came from his lips, glad that he didn't drop this one like he did the last. He still felt kinda bad for what he did even if Griffith said it was okay. His brown eyes glanced back at the older male, still worried if he was really okay.

Griffith stood there, one hand still on his heart, the other still on his necklace. His beautiful eyes stared at the ground. He gasped softly as he snapped out of the odd trance and slowly went back to work on the wedding cake. Pulling a pan from the oven.

Allowing the held breath from his lips, Tobi contued to work on his project in front of him. His ears flicking sligtly, in thought.

Griffith paused. "I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked softly, glancing back.

"N-No! I was surprised and worried about you is all..." Tobi quickly answered, his face turning a bright red.

Griffith turned to him. "What made you ask me to dinner?" A random but important question.

The question caught the young neko off gaurd nearly making him drop the knife in his hands but he kept a good grip from it falling onto the floor. "Uh... That was random but I would like to get to know you better, Griffith...." He slowly turned around to face the other male, his face even redder.

Griffith looked at him, stepping closer, his eyes half lidded, looking down at the young neko. He placed his hands on his upper arms, leaning down, his lips almost touching the others. He pulled back and sighed softly.

"Is something wrong....?" Tobi asked softly.

"I have no right to do what I was planning to." Griffith smiled softly as he whispered, then went back to work.

Tobi stared at the older male for a few moments before turning back to his work. The knife glided across the frist layer of cake. The icying melted slightly, poking small holes, the neko allowed the cake to fil with the frosting. Once the frist one was finished he did the same to the other layer, placing it ontop of it.

Griffith frosted the first layer with a thick, milk white coat of vanilla frosting. He placed the second layer on top and frosted it, then the third then the fourth, frosting each in turn.

Tobi went over to the sink to clean the utenssles that he used. His tail swayed gently as he hummed to himself. "Hey, Grittith... I was wondering if you want anything you really want for dinner?"

"I'm not really picky,so anything you make will be fine." Griffith replied, smiling sweetly at him. "Should I bring desert?" He chuckled.

"That would be great!" Tobi smiled back, his tail waging behind him.

"I will prepare a desert for our dinner then." Griffith said happily, smiling softly at him.

Ilya looked up from what he was doing upon hearing the males angry words, he looked worried about the male, not sure if he should try and help.

"How dare you treat my friend so poorly!" Fenrir growled, standing up. "He saved you out of the kindness of his heart! He thinks that there is good in everyone! Are you going to allow him to think otherwise?! He's a kind, caring person and doesn't deserve to listen to your ungreatful words!"

Helios stood up and gently placed his hand on Fenrir's shoulder. "Please, there is no need for this, calm down before something bad happens...Fenrir, my friend, please."

"I don't give a shit if he thinks otherwise!"Nirav yelled."I don't care about you,and I dont care about him!He doesn't really know who I am!"He glared and stood up.

Helios sighed and gently took his hand from Fenrir's shoulder. "Please excuse me..." He walked off to the bathroom, locking the door behind himself.

Fenrir growled. "See what you've done! Do you know why he wanted to save you? No, you don't because you don't care about anyone but yourself! Suicide is a selfish and desprite act! Helios knows that more than anyone! He was in a mental insitution for five years. Strapped to a bed everyday and every night, he didn't want to live after his brother killed himself. But one day a man came in, had the same problem as he did, wanted to kill himself because of a problem he couldn't deal with. They talked to one another, and they cured one another, those two became best friends, and they left the asylum together. Helios wanted to help other people....but why am I telling you? You don't care." Fenrir sat back down, returning to his calmer state.

Nirav flinched and glared."Tch...."He couldn't think of anything to say."Why would he want to save someone as selfish and lowlifed as me...?

"Were you not listening to me?" Fenrir glared at him with his odd colored eyes.

"Its not like I can do anything now!He'll never forgive me!"

"He's not upset with you, he's upset with himself. I know Helios, he thinks that he did something wrong." Fenrir drank the last of his coffee

"Then what can I do to make him better?"

"Do you still wish to die?" Fenrir asked

"No..."He whimpered.

"Tell him that, tell him that you're greatful..."

Nirav sighed and walked over to the bathroom,knocking on the door.

"Occupied." Helios replied softly from behind the door.

"Helios...?Im sorry...I don't want to kill myself..And Im gratefull for what you did,trying to save me.."

Helios cracked the door. "You are?"

Nirav nodded softly."I'll do anything to try to prove it..."

Helios came out, looking at him.

Nirav looked up at him,his eyes showed how truthfull he was being.

Helios looked at him. "I just wanted to help you..."

"I know...Im just stupid..."

Helios shook his head. "Not at all."

"Yes I am.I block out people who are trying to help me..."

"No, you just need to learn how to accept that people care."

"But why Helios...?Why do you care about a lowlife like me...?"

"Because every life has value." Helios replied simply

"What value is there in my life...?"

"You never know, some day you may save a life." Helios smiled softly

Nirav sighed softly and stared at his feet thinking of something to say

"Come on, let's finish our drinks..." Helios gently took Nirav's hand

Nirav blushed and followed Helios.

Helios allowed him to sit down before joining him.

Fenrir looked around for the waiter, wanting more coffee.

Nirav sipped his cappucino.

Helios sipped his drink, soon finishing it.

Nirav smiled softly.

Fenrir opened the papertoread the name. "Ilya?" He looked around for him

Nirav finished his drink and took out his wallet,handing some money to Helios."I feel bad when people buy me things..."


Helios shook his head. "It was my treat."

"Please take it?I feel like a burden..."

"You're not a burden at all."

Nirav smiled softly."Are you sure?"

Helios nodded. "Yeah."

Nirav put the money back into his wallet.

Ilya looked up from the counter upon hearing the male speaking his name he walked over with a smile "Are you ok? Can I get you anything else?"

Fenrir smiled at Ilya. "Yes, may I have a refilon my coffee?"

Helios looked at Ilya. "And refills for us too, please?"

"Of course" Ilya said as he went back to the counter and prepared the drinks. A couple of minutes later he bought them back the table and handed them out again "Can I get you anything else?"

Fenrir smiled softly. "Thanks, um, what time do you get off, maybe you and I can have dinner or something?"

Helios sipped his drink carefully.

Ilya blushed "Um well, that would be great, but I dont really have a set finishing time" he frowned slightly.

"I can wait for you to get off work." Fenrir smirked.

"thanks, but, you dont have to, I might be a long time"

"I know I don't have to, I want to." The Green haired male smiled at him.

"thankyou, hopefully I wont be long" He smiled and with that he wandered back to where Gritthi and Tobi were.

Nirav sipped his drink and smiled up at Helios

Helios smiled softly at him

Nirav blushed and looked away.

Fenrir watched the other male go. "Well it seems I have a date."

Helios looked at Fenrir. "That's wonderful."

"That is wonderful for you,Fenrir."Nirav smiled softly.

Helios smiled at NIrav's smile

Nirav looked at Helios and blushed alittle moer,looking away.

Helios looked at him. "Are you ill?"

"No..I just.."He mumbled.

Helios gently helt his forehead.

Nirav blushed brighter and looked away.

Helios looked at him. "You're warm..."

Nirav whimpered."Im just..."

"Yes?" Helios asked softly.

"Nothing...Never mind..."

Helios smiled softly and watched Fenrir rise from his seat.

Fenrir walked over to the counter, looking for the handsome male he spoke to earlier.

nirav looked over at Fenrir and looked at Helios.He bowed."thank you....For everything..."

Ilya smiled as Fenrir approached the counter "Is everything alright with your order?"

"Are you busy?" Fenrir asked, smiling handsomely.

Helios smiled softly. "No need, I'm glad to have helped."

"If theres anything I could ever do for you..."Nirav said softly,blushing.

"Your friendship is a perfect gift." Helios smiled

Nirav blushed brighter.He took out a pen and paper and wrote down his number."I-If you ever wana hang out or something...Gimmie a call.."

Helios smiled and returned the favor by giving him his cell number.

Nirav smiled happily.He didn't want to leave.

"Um no not really" Ilya smiled "Why?"

"I thought we could talk a bit...my name is Fenrir by the way." The Green haired male smiled.

Helios sipped his drink.

Nirav smiled and waved.Sadness was hinted on his face,.He walked out into the douseiai streets.

"Hi Fenrir, please to meet you" Ilya blushed slightly as he spoke to the other male.

Helios watched him walk away. "You didn't have to go..." He whispered softly.

Fenrir gently took the other male's hand and kissed it. "Enchanted."

Ilya smiled as Fenrir kissed his hand, no one had ever been that forward with him before, he mumbled something, not being able to say anythimg, his blush getting deeper.

Fenrir smiled, his disposition very wild like an animal, but yet, tender and soft all at once. It seemed like he had a wild beast tamed with in himself.

"So um...do you live around here? I mean, I have never seen you in here before" Ilya smiled.

"I do now, a friend of mine and I just got an apartment together. We've been through alot together, Helios and I and we plan to be friends forever. How about you, do you live in the city or the outskirts?" Fenrir replied, smiling.

Helios watched Fenrir, smiling weakly, happy that his friend found a potential companion. He sighed softly and withdrew a book from his bag and started reading, always in his nature. HIs nose in a book rather than cuddled into someone. At times he wondered if he'd ever have someone to love.

"I rent out a small place in the outskirts city, right on the water front, I have only been here a year or so, its nice here, you will like it. And its good you have a friend with you, at least you won't get lonely"


"Yeah, I worry about him sometimes though..." Fenrir glanced back at Helios. "He's so sweet to everyone, but everyone seems to leave him when they don't need him anymore. Likethe guy he just saved from commiting suiside...he left..." Fenrir made a soft sound like a dog whimper.

Nirav walked back into the cafe and looked at Helios.He smiled softly and tried to bring up the courage to walk over to him..

Ilya noticed Nirav enter the cafe again "Well, he's back now" He grinned "And, its good you worry in a way, it shows your a good friend to him."

Fenrir nodded. "Yeah, he's back...but for how long?"

Nirav walked over to Helios,blushing.

Helios looked up. "Oh, Nirav...Did you need anything?" HE seen the red tint to the other's face and stood up. "Oh dear, Are you alright?"

Nirav blushed more and looked at the floor."Yes...I mean no...I mean.."He sighed."I don't know...I just...I wanted to ask...If...you wanted to go out for dinner or something...you know...like a date..."

Ilya smiled "Well, lets hope he is with him for a while hmm?"

"Yeah, I con only hopeHelios finds Happiness." Fenrir smiled.

Helios blushed softly. "You wish to go on a date with me?"

"Its good you are looking out for him" Ilya looked over at Grittih and Tobi for a moment before bringing his eyes back to Fenrir.

"He saved my life. He's my best friend, I would trade that for the world." Fenrir smiled.

"He saved your life?" Ilya enquired.

Nirav blushed brighter."Y-You don't have to if you don't want to!"

"I was having some problems I couldn't deal with and was going to kill myself but Helios talked me out of it..." Fenrir smiled.

Helios blushed some more. "You really want to go on a date with me? No tricks?"

Nirav nodded quickly."No tricks."He smiled softly,his face bright red.

"I-I'd love to." Helios smiled.

Nirav blushed brightly and smiled,leaning over and kissing his cheek.

Helios blushed and kissed his cheek back.

Nirav smiled softly and stared at the floor.

"So where to?"

"I don't really know..."Nirav blushed."Do you want to go to my apartment?"

"Sure, if you'd like." Helios smiled softly.

Nirav held out his hand.

Helios gently took his hand, smiling

Nirav smiled adn took him to Nirav's Apartment

"Well, it really looked like they made up very well" Ilya smiled.

Fenrir smiled. "I just hope it lasts."

Ilya glanced around the cafe "Seeing as its just you left im sure that Grithhi will let me leave,. if you still want to do something?"

"I'd like that." Fenrir smiled at him, his odd colored eyes sparkling.

"oK, WELL LET ME JUST GO ROUND THE BACK AND ASK HIM." Ilya went to the kitchen and smiled as he saw Griffith icing the cake "Hey Griffith everyone is left now do you mind if I leave off?"

Griffith looked up. "Hm? Oh, Yeah I don't mind..." His voice trailed off.

Ilya looked at his boss for a moment, knowing something was wrong, but he didnt want to pry with Tobi there "Well, thanks, call me if you need me ok?" He said with a smile as he retirned to the front of the cafe "Its okay for me to go, so...what would you like to do?"

"Dinner maybe? Or a movie? Or both?" Fenrir chuckled slightly and looked at he other male with his different colored eyes.

"It really is up to you, I do not mind" Ilya smiled.

"Or we could go to my place and I can cook for you and we can watch a movie." Fenrir smiled

"Really...it is up to you, decide and surprise me"

Fenrir smiled. "Come to my place?"

Ilya blushed slightly, he had never been properly asked out before "Ok, sounds good"

Fenrir held his hand out to the other male. "Shall we?"

Ilya smiled "Ok" He let the other male take his small hand.

"Do you like motorcycles?" Fenrir asked, smiling.

"I dont know, never been on one..." Ilya looked slightly worried.

"I'll go slow..." Fenrir lead him outside.

"um okay..." Ilya still felt nervous but went with Fenrir all the same.


"Don't worry, I'm a safe driver and I've never crashed." Fenrir smiled at him. He lead him out to his silvery motorcycle. "Hop on."

Ilya looked at the motorcycle "Where do you want me to sit on it?" He realised how stupid he sounded and blushed.

"Don't worry..." Fenrir straddled the machine and patted the spot between his legs.

Still blushing ILya did what the other male told him to do and got onto the motorbike.

Fenrir put his arms around the other male to take hold of the handle bars.

Ilya held his breath for a moment when Fenrir put his arms around him, he breathed again when he held onto the handle bars, he was nervous, but did not want to show it too much.

Fenrir put his chin on the other male's shoulder. "Relax, I won't allow anything to happen to you." He whispered softly as he started the machine.

Ilya nodded at the males words and relaxed. He smiled as he felt his chin on his shoulder.

Fenrir smiled. "Ready?" He asked him, looking down at him.

"yup" Ilya nodded "Where abouts do you live?"

"Not too far from here..." Fenrir reved the bike and turned off down the street to Fenrir's House

"Shall we go then?" He asked, adjusting his coat slightly.

Alexis nodded with a soft smile, "Yea..." He pulled on a soft blue coat that had white wool lining on the inside of it, "Do you remember this jacket?" He asked as he slipped it on. "You gave it to me as a birthday present?"

"Of course" He smiled "Lets get going, we can talk more at my place" He said as he held the door open for Alexis. (OK Lollie! Lets go to Theo's Apartment

Alexis smiled and buttoned his coat uo and slid his cell into his pocket. He took one last glance around the diner then turned his smiling eyes on Theo and followed him out the door.
