Seiketsu and Kage had been the rebel twins of the Minamino family since they could remember. It always used to be little pointless things, like fliping off goverment offcials when they came to the Minamino residence.Rece
ntly it was dying their hair white blond and wearing gold contacts.
But the scene before them made them wish they had done more than just be rebels, it made them wish they had attacked the goverment more directly. The girl's screaming stopped suddenly when the popping of a gun was heard. Taka Usagi(Female Student number 21) was on the floor, blood was streaming out of a bullet hole in her head.
At that second a body fell out of the black bag that the three soldiers had dragged in. It was the body of their teacher Mr. Riharu.
"This," said Kioteku as he waved his hand in the general direction of the body, "Is what happens to people who don't work with the goverment. And that," he waved his hand at the body of Taka Usagi, "Is what happens when you don't obey my orders. I told you I would kill the next person who made a sound."
The class stared at him in a shocked silence. "Now then," he said. "Starting with Female Student number 1 you will all leave in two minute intervals, thirty minutes after the last person leaves this section will become a forbidden zone. But first I want you all to take out a sheet of paper from your desk and write three times 'I will kill'."
He watched as the class scrambled for the paper and pencil and started scribbling. When the last set of eyes were on him he gave another order, "Now write three times 'I will not be killed'." The class obeyed.
"I wish you all good luck. Miss Armourage, you are first." Kita stood nervously and grabbed the daypack on the top of the pile. With a last glance at her classmates she disappeared down the hallway.
Kage and Seiketsu glanced at each other, they knew that they had to stick together. It was the only way to survive. Kage slipped her arms behind her chair and waved a piece of paper at her brother. Seiketsu grabbed it.
Inside he read a note that told him to wait for her(as he would leave before her). Tehy would stick together to the bitter end in this game. After all, they had the advantage. Their primary hope, though, was that no one would play the game. One student dead was bad enough. But theyr bother knew that the hope was far-fetched. There were plently of people in this room that would like to get revenge on one another. This stupid, pointless game was a good way to do it.
