How did you end up on Elftown?
A friend told me about it in eighth grade. At first I joined mostly to keep in contact with him, but I eventually found that the creative avenues of ET catered to my liking.

What do you like most about fantasy: writing, images, reading etc.?
The best part about fantasy is that it can take you away from reality, if only just for a moment. When you write it, you put a part of yourself into every character that you give birth to, every little amount of scenery that you forge with your words. When you read it, you get lost trying to immerse yourself into that world, into the characters' minds, and through them, the mind of the writer themself.

What inspires you to write poetry?
My main inspiration for wirting poetry is just to enjoy writing it. I mostly just try to write something that sounds cool. However, there are those rare occasions when an event in my life influences me to write a poem about it. Those poems are the ones that turn out to be really special.

Is there a specific style of poetry you prefer?
I tend to lean on the side of freeverse. I often times don't like being limited to a specifc format. Sometimes, though, I will do it for the challenge or if I feel that a traditional form will help to strenghthen the poem.

What is it you do mostly on Elftown?
It used to be just socializing with friends that I met through ET. However, more and more I find myself breaking away from the social aspect and delving more into the artistic one. I mostly use ET now as a way to improve my craft, but it's still really nice to catch up with old friends and make some new ones every now and then.

Is there a particular thing you like about Elftown?
The community. More specifically, the diversity of the community. Just about every form of artist, creative thinker, or person in general can be found here. It may not be as vast as some websites like Deviantart, but it definitely has a more personal, friendly vibe to it.

Is there a member whose house you really like yourself? Why do you like that house?
[xhideously-t.a.k]'s house appeals to me greatly. Mostly because I've witnessed it grow over the years from hardly anything to the vast expanse of a house that it is today.

Do you have any critique/comments/suggestions/admiration etc. on a specific Elftown matter?
Spefically, no. I'm not sure whether this is even an Elftown matter, but I admire the fact that you can never truly delete your profile. I, like many others I know, found this annoying at first. However, when you've been a member for as long as I have you grow to appreciate it. I seemingly forgot about Elftown until I remembered that I had a profile. It's comforting to know that even if you leave, you're always welcome to come back.

What is your message to all Elftowners?
This is more than just a website, it's an online community. There's just about everything under the sun for gaming nerds, poets, painters, and socializers alike here at Elftown. Take advantage of that. Explore. Even though you may never meet them in person, you can forge some great friendships here on Elftown.
