Quick Facts

Appearance...
- Coras are very gentile birds, but they are still birds of prey and show it with very sharp beaks used for slicing.
- Covered in a near downy layer of feathers with a top layer which is more rugged for quick running through underbrush.
- Coras are abnormally tall, standing at a maximum of twelve foot into the air. However at a comfortable stance they are well within human height for mounting.
Habitat...
- Adon, Avilion Plains.
- Coras are strangely plain dwelling creatures, and have the strengths to fend off even the best of predators.
- While suited for ramming through underbrush, Coras typically admire open spaces.
Behavior...
- Coras are predatory birds, and they attack smaller land mammals with their large crushing beaks.
- While capable of jumping long distances, Coras are more comfortable with flat lands and rolling hills.
- Many of these large birds are good long distance runners, but fail to sprint at high speed during a charge. Often they are used by Fellrise Cavalry because of their build and distance covering capability.
