Description
Ghosts, souls without purpose. They linger in the mortal realm, feeling as if they are still needed and angered as they are forgotten. They congregate in areas where great pain has been suffered, or where their bodies have been laid with others. Many times it is within battlegrounds, castles, cemetaries, or tombs. They shift through many different varieties over time, depending on what they come to realise. Anger causes them to lash out violently as a Poltergeist. The need for shape, a Doppleganger..
. Hunger, a Gaki... Suffering and fear, a Phantom... Mystery and curiosity, a Vex. They all appear differently but magically they are all the same and should be feared, most especially the Poltergeist. While the others can be seemingly harmless, the Poltergeist is the only type of ghost that will actually attempt to kill if angered. Even great Exorcists have trouble dealing with such furious souls, as their power has roots within darker realms such as the Netherworld.
