Talons, Griffen talons are sharp and easily able to grab targets on the fly. They are also long, and sometimes hollowed out into wine glasses by natives.
Air Magic, Griffens are particularly fond of lightning even though they can cast all Air magic with particular effectiveness.

Description
Griffens are a race complied by wizards long ago to safeguard the mountains from the Fellrise nation at its birth. After the race of wizards fell to Richard Fellrise, the Griffens purpose was left to the wild. And so these creatures began to find things that they admired, such as gold and jewels, to make nests of. Their eggs, which under the careful magestry of magic to unite the powerful lion (rear) with the graceful eagle (front), are brought together within a jewel-like egg. Griffens are extremely protective and aggressive due to their guardian nature. Another accent to their aggressive lifestyle is the treasure hordes they gather within their nest and extreme love of golden luster. They are well known throughout the world as a burden to the Fellrise people travelling though the Ashfall Mountains, since they are often robbed by the powerful, flying creatures.
