Quick Facts
Appearance...
- An individual mome rath is a basic rodent, but has a distinct bipedal (only two legs and a tail, no other limbs), armadillo-like shape.
- Armored within shells of chitin and hair, they are quite difficult to kill.
- Swarms of these individuals appear like a chaotic wave of rolling motion, which becomes very threatening as they move towards their targets collectively.
Habitat...
- Lith, Wonderland dungeon
- Noted as one of the few creatures to actually survive within the wonderland dungeon.
- Most commonly mistaken for rocky ground, often leading to the downfall of many intrepid explorers.
Behavior...
- These rodents are actually very territorial but passive and social within their own species.
- They attack threats to the swarm by rolling into balls and avalanching towards their enemy in the thousands.
- When feeding, a collective chirping noise is made by the masse and can seem like a calm coo. However, behaviorally, the cooing is actually more like a growling and competition for scraps.
