Interview with [Tickle Me Emo] by the [Lady of Lore]

What is your Real Name: It's a secret!

How old are you: Also a secret.

Where You Live: Secret, secret, secret!

First question, do you happen to work or study? I just graduated from high school and am planning to attend University next fall.

What do you like to do when you have free time?
I wrestle and coach wrestling, although that can be said more to consume free time than be free time itself. I also play viola and acoustic guitar (despite the fact that my skills are rather abysmal in both regards). Sometimes when I have the inspiration, I will pull some poetic lines out of my reluctant skull or go take photographs. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, of course :) But most of all, I like turning up the music really loud and dancing around like a madwoman!

How did you find your way here to Elftown?
I had stumbled across Elfwood through random searches for fantastical images. I wound up joining Elfwood, only to be faced with the horrible reality that I have no artistic talent whatsoever, so I shifted over to Elftown so I could worship those who do.

What is it you like most, that keeps you coming back to Elftown?
The community feeling of those who are in Elftown for the right reasons. It's fun to be able to chat with people about all forms of personal expression, to exchange stories and resources, and to admire the work of supremely talented people from all around the world.

I notice you have a lot of poetry and quotes on your house. Where do they come from? I write the poetry myself, unless it's a poem by another author I absolutely adore. In terms of quotes, I pull them from books I read, from daily encounters, from people I admire, and (on occasion) I will peruse a dictionary of quotes for particularly inspiring and pertinent phrases.

For the poetry you write yourself, where do you get your inspiration? I typically pull inspiration from within, and from my personal experiences. I have a pretty strong personality, although it can be somewhat subdued at times, so finding internal inspiration is not difficult for me.

Do you update the things on your house often? I'm somewhat obsessive compulsive about my House. I've been trying to attain the "perfect" house that expresses my personality to the greatest extent, although this is practically impossible as there are many aspects to my self. I will frequently make small changes; a new poem here, an added quote there... but then there are the (infrequent) times when I do a complete overhaul and change everything. I haven't done that in a while.

What do you like to do here on Elftown when you have time? I enjoy maintaining my photography wiki (I've been thinking about creating a poetry wiki as well) and chatting with people about pretty much anything. I am also a notorious House Zapper :}

Do you have a favorite thing here on Elftown? A specific wiki or house perhaps? I think [eurayo] is my favorite house to visit because his artwork is so incredibly astounding. He is proficient in many styles, and I love the fact that he produces beautiful pieces that feature women with real body types.
In regards to wikis, I think one of my favorites is For the Love of Reading. For obvious reasons.

Do you have any advice or suggestions for Elftown? I like participating in competitions, but sometimes I get distracted and forget about deadlines. It might be nice to have some sort of notice feature - an alert, a message, an e-mail, something - available to people who ask for one. Just an idea; I'm sure it's technically much more work to actually put it into effect.

If there was one thing you could say to all of Elftown, what would it be? "Contribute, contribute, contribute!"
It's much more fun when you're involved :)
