2005-03-25 [kay-chan]: Hi! Just wanted to remark... because it's a wiki about spelling... Thought you'd like to know... 'plauge' is really 'plague'. I don't know, it seemed central, thought it would help. (And 'expell'=expel
2005-03-25 [Spanakopida]: XD I knew something like this would end up happening. Now I feel like a fool O:
2005-03-25 [Panda-monium]: Nah, we all have spelling trouble, that isn't what this wiki is about, it is about butchering the english language by taking all the Vowels out of the damned words! I mean and it isn't even necessarily the people who do it's fault, look at the entiretly of America, they took the 'u' out of everything to make it easier to spell. Colour, Favourite, Behaviour...th
2005-03-25 [Spanakopida]: I so fixed it anyways (: Thanks for telling me
2005-03-25 [Panda-monium]: lol, thats good to fix it, just saying ye shouldnt feel stupid, to this day I can not for the life of me spell critiszm.
2005-03-25 [Spanakopida]: I can't spell that either. >_<
2005-03-25 [Panda-monium]: hehehe
2005-03-25 [greyhart]: Criticism? I think....I can't remember.
2005-03-25 [Panda-monium]: that looks right...
2005-03-25 [Spanakopida]: If anyone's interested in joining, you can do so at Omglol members
2005-03-26 [greyhart]: I'd join but I still slip once in a while.
2005-03-26 [Spanakopida]: With spelling? Don't worry. Your spelling doesn't have to be perfect. I'm talking about people who are like "ONG look i cn tipe that m8ks me bettr thn ulolol!!1!"
2005-03-26 [Falx]: That makes it very hard for people with dyslexia to read...
2005-03-26 [Spanakopida]: Not only is it difficult for dyslexic people to read, it is pretty diffficult for ordinary people to read, too.
2005-03-26 [greyhart]: My spellings not bad but I still use "lol" alot...that's my one exception.
2005-03-26 [Spanakopida]: As long as you don't overuse it, I really don't care (:
2005-03-26 [Panda-monium]: hehe, yessum, I tend to use 'lol' as well, but I have been getting rid of it, and I still use ne ways, sometimes but again, getting out of that habit, but other than that, I tend to like vowels in my words. :P
2005-03-28 [Archeress of Mirkwood]: I'm a terrible speller when I NEED to spell otherwise I'm alright... down' in wiki comments or whatever I can usually spell unles it's a slip of finger on key-stroke... but if I'm MAKING a wiki and NEED to spell something corretcly.... can't hardly do it for the life of me. Hehehe! (And I use lol quite a bit too, but oh well.) BTW: I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes here, but the reason ppl were being directed to a wrong wiki after visiting one of the sub-wikis from here is because the link back was missing the period, so I fixed them.
2005-03-28 [Spanakopida]: And you are my hero <3 Thanks. I never would have noticed that >_>
2005-03-28 [Tolmeni]: Lol sounds, to me, like "loll", to recline in a vegetative state...so perhaps the people who use "lol" are missing brain matter.
2005-03-29 [Demon-child]: THANK YOU! Finally, other people who think that speaking without vowels is the mark of negative intelligence! My mother's grammar-Nazi-t
2005-03-29 [Panda-monium]: hehe, I feel the same, I don't mind such short forms as lol, or omg, as long as not used excessively, it is the "So hw u doin'? I am gr8t" That just shows me that now it starts with taking u's out of words but will end with us communicating in monosyllables. >.<
2005-03-29 [Falx]: Ok, well, I've personally been known to use leet speak. *is a member of Evil Leets Unite* but I don't tend to use it in general conversation. The sad part is that chatspeak is weaseling its way into things like term papers and as a teacher, I'd have to say that if I catch my students using chatspeak in a research paper, they'd better be doing research on chatspeak and using it only as an example.
2005-03-29 [Death's Die-Ary]: you guys are snobs.
2005-03-29 [Tolmeni]: .Dead.Alone., you can go be dead alone in the ground. Go away.
2005-04-01 [Archeress of Mirkwood]: Hmmm... sounds like there's already trouble in the neighborhood..
2005-04-02 [e.coli]: LOL-LOL-LOL-LO
2005-04-02 [Panda-monium]: You do not make yourself seem intelligent by coming here and showing you have a differing opinion, we are already well aware of your view point, and you are well aware of ours, so if there is anything else you wish to know or discuss please, I would be so inclined to hear it so long as I can understand your language.
