Fake Pagans.
Can't live with them, and yes we could easily live without them.

Welcome to Playgans the psychotic rantings of the Exhibit A: [Delladreing]. Formed out of sheer madness and frustration Playgans was born out of a love for religion and genuine faith, mixed in with a healthy dosage of psychosis and religious zeal enough to make even the most devout fundamentalist feel ashamed.

The rant began in the year of 2004 and is still going strong. During this time Playgans has come under fire and been branded as a "hate site", Dela herself has been tainted with the foulness of such accusations.
The aim of Playgans was never to incite or promote religious hatred. The aim of Playgans was to educate the masses, the fakers found on the web, and to give those serious about their faith in the pagan world a place to come and have a bit of a chat. So far it has been working well and we now have a wider branch of readers than we ever had before. The fact that the site contains a lot of references to violence, and psychosis does not mean that the content found within is hate mongering. It is merely [Delladreing]'s style of writing. And mindset. (Heh.)

At this point she would like to thank all of those that have shown her project such support. Had there not been so much support and loyalty from readers she would have allowed Playgans to fade away a long time ago. Thank you to all of you :)

2007-04-07 [Delladreing]: lmao.

Eh I don't want to sell my baby out, but I don't mind admiting that there will be posters and t-shirts on sale when it comes to me needing money for a book launch :p

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: *will be there*

2007-04-07 [Delladreing]: And I'll be selling the first few copies signed. How arrogant am I XD

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: *has first dibs*
The arrogance goes without saying Dela XD

2007-04-07 [Delladreing]: Haha, touche really, touche.

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: *legend*

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: hey guys

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Hi ^^

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: hows the weather?

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Err...Cooling down

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: here to it was snowing yesterday! it's not right

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: Hey guys, I'm back from my hols with my bf, and we've been to Glastonbury. ^-^

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Cool, was it fun? :D

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: It was indeed, I visited lots of nice shops and bought some things. I wish I could have looked around for a bit longer though, but I was dragging around my bf, lol.

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: was it?

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: Uh huh. We visited the Abbey and the Tor too.

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: what was that like?

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Aww cool, I want to go there ^^

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: It was a very nice little place, the people were mostly friendly, and the Pagan shops were fabulous. There were nice tearooms too. The Tor and Abbey were less impressive I must say, but still enchanting.

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: sounds nice

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: It was. We also visited Weston-Super-Mere, Bath, Bristol, Lacock, and Longleat.

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: cooool

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: I love Bath <3

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Omg did you see Lacock Abbey? :D

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: I did see Lacock Abbey, that's what I went for. LOL. And yes, they film 'Harry Potter' there and I walked amongst the cloisters where it is filmed.

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: I went there in September, it was awesome o.O Did you get to go through the house?

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: Yep, we did go into the house, it was very beautiful, but I have to say, it is nothing to Longleat house - omg, how unimaginablely stunning was it! It just a shame you're not allowed to take photos in there. :(

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: ahhh you guys are making me jealous

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: Longleat looks lovely ^^ I was somewhat freaked out by the entrance to Lacock house, it was awesome :D

And I hate to ask, but you didn't happen to come across a black and white cat did you?

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: No, I didn't see a black and white cat there, but I did see a bright orange-red, black and white kitty on the grounds, whose tummy I tickled. Hehe. Why?

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: what's up with a black and white cat?

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: When I went there, we found a black and white cat which we fed curry and named Joe. Just wondering if he was still there XD

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: Haha. Sounds good. XD
Ohh, Longleat has a ghost, we didn't see her though, but there was a portrait of her, which freaked me out. I always have strange, uncomfortable feelings in haunted houses.

2007-04-07 [Silver Moon]: ahhhhhh cute

2007-04-07 [sequeena_rae]: I'd love to go to Longleat ^_^

2007-04-07 [The Naiad]: We spent 3 hours on the safari there, it was boiling in the car. Argh.

2007-04-18 [Fuu]: Playgans comments died... no one has said anything in sooo long.

2007-04-18 [Azuri]: it happens, and then someone says something like that and they always flood back lol.

2007-04-18 [moonscale]: yea.. but the first couple comments tend to be rather boring and pointless long the lines of this is boring cause no one is saying anything. <img:44166_1164145221.gif>

2007-04-18 [Delladreing]: Yup. I don't have much to say anymore either. I comment in here when I have new rants on when there will be an update on the upoming book. But if you want to keep the comments alive like they used to be, I sugget you all think of conversatioms ;)

2007-04-18 [Azuri]: Lol conversations? You is crazy women XD

2007-04-18 [Delladreing]: Mwahah, you only just now notice it?

2007-04-18 [Azuri]: Nah just reiterating a fact :-p

2007-04-18 [Delladreing]: Fair enough fair enough.

2007-04-19 [Fuu]: lol. I haven't said anything because I've been preparing for my Disney trip nxt week and my Senior Prom. My dress is so pretty ^^, it makes me happy.

2007-04-19 [Delladreing]: Takes photos!

2007-04-19 [Azuri]: Ooo mesh photos are a must <3

2007-04-19 [Fuu]: O.oo.O I have to take pictures why? Oh, wait, let me guess... you guys want to see? >< But I hate pictures.... oh well they'll get taken anyway I guess.

2007-04-21 [Fuu]: < help, please! someone help! >< Preferably someone good with relationship issues or to put this better rejecting someone.

2007-04-21 [Delladreing]: Uhm, whats going on?

2007-04-21 [Azuri]: O.o yea why the distress call?

2007-04-21 [Fuu]: lol Azuri. No its just Im having issues with a friend....as in he asked me out and when I turned him down just said.... "oh that's okay I can for your answer about going out until after your trip or something" >< He is making things REALLY difficult.

2007-04-22 [Azuri]: Ah I see, that is difficult. You could always do the ol I don't wanna ruin our friendship. Though I always found that really sucked to receive. I think it would just be better to tell him flat out you don't feel the same.

2007-04-22 [Fuu]: I'm probably going have to do that in the end... but I feel so bad. Especially seeing he got rejected a few weeks ago by someone else. Rejection twice has gotta hurt.

2007-04-22 [Azuri]: Yea but you don't wanna go out with him from pity, thats doubly worse than just straight out rejecting him.

2007-04-23 [Fuu]: im not planning on going out with him, pity or not, im not going out with him. There is someone else i like, that there however is a whole other issue ><

2007-04-23 [Azuri]: Lol mesh never settle for anything that you dont want *cheers Fuu on*

2007-04-23 [Fuu]: thanks azuri... *hides in corner*

2007-04-23 [Rondel]: My best advice would be this: be firm and direct, emphasize that you've already given him an answer, and pressuring you (or waiting expectantly) is not going to change your answer *for the better*.

You can tell him you don't feel that way about him *at this time*, and that while you don't know what the future may hold, you *do* know that feeling pressured and antagonized is no way to increase the likelihood of someone's becoming interested in another person.

You don't want to hold out false hope, don't give him the idea that you're considering maybe feeling that way about him later, but the truth is, when we're young (or at any age, really), we don't know what the future holds. People who are nothing but trusted friends *can* wind up being the love of one's life (that's what happened with me and my husband), but it's all about being at the right time in one's life -- and pushing someone NEVER makes things better, just as trying to make something happen when it's the wrong time doesn't work, and can screw up the chances of it ever happening later.

So, you can soften the "let's just be friends" speech, by saying "if I ever feel anything more about you, I promise, you'll be the first to know. But I can't make myself feel what I don't feel."

Does that make sense?

2007-04-23 [Fuu]: *huggles Rondel* thankies rondel.

2007-05-08 [BarleySinger]: I agree. No point in dragging things out or beating round the bush. Be nice but be firm, and try and keep the friendship.

2007-05-10 [Fuu]: I will. Actually I've gotten to know him now better too. He's a sweetheart and I told him not right now. There's too much going on for me to handle a relationship right now because of stuff going on at home and with college, etc, etc. And surprisingly he was very understanding of it, partly because he knows my situation >< which sucks. And said he doesn't mind that being my answer. I told him maybe another time but right now I don't know him as much as I would like too and all the issues I'm dealing with.

2007-05-18 [BarleySinger]: Anybody our there who wishes to burn candles/etc...

We (Rondel and I) have lost the wonderful house that was keeping us "as well as possible" (given the Chemical Sensitivity thing). We can;t do gas cooking/heat, or chlorinated mains water, or carpets. It is nearly impossible to find safe housing, and we finally had it.

BUT - not the owners are going to take back over the management of the place and have a relative lease it from them.

So we have 3 months to find a place (took 19 months last time) in a very tight rental market, to find a place where we will be able to breath. yippie-shit.

2007-05-18 [Azuri]: *huggles* Ill keep you guys in my thoughts, I think its rotten that you guys have to loose that house :( I hope you find one even better than that though.

2007-05-19 [Fuu]: Same here ^^. I'll have you in my thoughts that you find a better place, we love you and [Rondel] and want to wish you both the best. I'll make sure to burn a candle for you both ^^

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: So you've seen 'The Craft'?, A short vioent piece on why I hate The Craft :D

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: KEEE!!! Newness *glomps*

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: *glomp*

Ah, I remember when I used to have a rant a week. But things on ET have gotten slow since more and more people joined up here. Ah well shan't complain, less chance of me having a heart attack before my time ;)

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: Lol I remember too, your rants are oh so amusing. So whens the book coming out? *poke*

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: bah *pokes back* hopefully late summer of 2008. If I can get it as perfect as I'd like it and if anyone will dare to publish it :p

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: Weee you will have to sign mine when I buy it ^_^

Well if anything you could just sell your soul to that one company lol

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: lol, it'd be deliciously ironic I have to admit.

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: Yes it would and all of us here would have a good laugh hehe

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: "Bahaha you published something that hates you!"

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: XD Yea it would be the best specially since youve just ranted about them being bastards and all.

2007-05-24 [Delladreing]: s'cause they are :p

2007-05-24 [Azuri]: Yes yes I know, you saved me from their bastardness remember lol

2007-05-25 [Delladreing]: Haha oh yes, I forgot that

2007-05-25 [Azuri]: Lol I forget sometimes too *shudders* now that I actually know better its kind of embarrassing lol

2007-05-25 [Delladreing]: Eh no worries, everyone has to start somewhere.

2007-05-25 [Azuri]: Isn't that the truth

2007-05-25 [Delladreing]: I'd have been a playgan probably if I hadn't met my ex. I was heading down that path due to the company I was keeping, then he popped up in my life and whoa family of traditionalists in my life and I shudder to think of what I might have been.

2007-05-25 [BarleySinger]: I started out trying to be serious, and then I encountered "playgans" and they confused the shit out of me for a while. I knew people who were serious and then there were these other people who were just so..."odd".

I am also still working on the various books I have in process. I know that some of the things I plan to write (have written parts of) would offend a huge number of people in the subculture of "pagandom" (how to get despised in one easy lesson) for many of the same reasons that [Delladreing] would get problems.

I think one of the best parts of the "Eco Pagan" book is the chapter called "The Green Creed", because the oath can work for anybody of any spiritual inclination (or none) if you just change the last part...and becasue it is about doing real things in daily life.

I have been working tonight/morning (6:17AM now) on the section called "A Brief Historical Summary of the Neopagan Movement". I have no intention of mentioning all the names and branches of various groups. For that people can read "Drawing Down the Moon". I am more interested in the flow of the traditions (who branched off from where, etc).

2007-05-26 [Fuu]: Dela when the book comes out I want a signed one too ^^ *big puppy eyes* pretty pwease?

2007-06-01 [Maurer's conclusions]: omg liek you dont no anything!!! wicca is the oldest religoin on earht!!! i curse U with my moonstone pentagarm!!

2007-06-01 [Delladreing]: Don't make me biff you :P

2007-06-01 [Maurer's conclusions]: I wanted to see if someone would take it seriously:P

2007-06-01 [sequeena_rae]: Highly unlikely xD

2007-06-01 [a faerie tale]: Oh man, a book, huh? You must be essited.

2007-06-02 [BarleySinger]: <silliness>
I wanna...I wanna...I wanna...go around wearing black, and have lots of tacky silver skull jewellery, and act scary, and tell people that I summon demons, and call myself by a new name that is mystical and dark sounding...but with an animal in the name...maybe a bird...how about "Stygian Budgie"...what do you mean it isn't scary? I know it isn't a name like "Black Hawk" or "Dark Crow"...but it is a bird, and they bite fingers!

And for those of you who have read "Good Omens", maybe after that I can ride a motorcycle as one of the four bikers of the Apocalypse and call myself "Grievous Bodily Harm" (GBH) like "Big Ted", or "Embarassing Personal Problems" like "Skuzz" (denied being "Rubbish" after "GBH" told him that Pollution had that one "all sewn up") or maybe "Ansaphones" or "Really Cool People", like "Pigbog", or choose what "Greaser" did for his new name..."Cruelty to Animals", and then "Things Not Working Properly Even After You've Given Them a Good Thumping", and then "No Alcohol Lager".
</silliness>

2007-06-02 [Linderel]: Good Omens! *loves* Marvellous book.

2007-06-02 [Delladreing]: *dies laughing*

2007-06-02 [Azuri]: Hhahahah XD

2007-06-02 [moonscale]: Oh wow! there should be a pure humour page! and lots of people should add their "experiences" with playganism. *nods sagely* (so I can read them ^^)

2007-06-02 [Azuri]: Lol you would never be bored then would you lol

2007-06-03 [Fuu]: that would be so funny. lmao at the silliness btw

2007-06-04 [a faerie tale]: XD

2007-06-06 [sequeena_rae]: w00t! 108! *celebrates*

2007-06-06 [Azuri]: *does a happy dance with squee*

2007-06-06 [Delladreing]: Ah, my baby is three and still growing *proud*

2007-06-06 [Azuri]: Has it really been three years? Wow I had no idea my sense of time was so piss poor.

2007-06-06 [Delladreing]: Haha, yes, yes it has.

2007-06-06 [Fuu]: wow... three years... damn... I can't count. *walks into a wall* ow.... or see >< lol

2007-06-06 [Fuu]: btw Dela do you mind if I do one quick spam comment? I hate doing them and when I do I try to ask the owner... aka ... you.

2007-06-06 [Delladreing]: On you go my dear :)

2007-06-06 [Azuri]: Bwhahaha *pets fuu*

2007-06-06 [Fuu]: Thank you Dela ^^ all I wanted to say is if anyone listens to asian music and would be interested in helping me by joining the staff of my wiki Asian Music Index it would be a big help ^^. Thank you!

Lol Azuri... yes I walk into walls. Oh I got my hair cut the other day! ^^ I'm putting up the new piccy now and I love it ^^ None of my teachers OR friends recognized me ^^.

2007-06-06 [Azuri]: Haha i used to walk into walls before i got glasses XD

2007-06-06 [Fuu]: I have 20/20 vision but i still walk into walls for some reason....

2007-06-06 [Delladreing]: ...lack of spacial awareness right there :P

2007-06-06 [Fuu]: lol, probably

2007-06-10 [BarleySinger]: [Deladreing>: Ah, my baby is three and still growing *proud*??? So "your baby" (the kind that does not need nappies) is a toddler now. Does that mean that it utterly refuses to acknowledge the word "no" (when used by others), and has a vocabulary dominated heavily by the repeated use of "mine"?

Just think Della, with less self control and a different choice in domestic coping mechanisms (sans any applied intelligence) you could so easily have had a different kind of 3 year old by now.

Gawd I feel so very old.

2007-06-10 [Delladreing]: Heheh, yes it is indeed a toddler, walking and talking on it own, spreading out over the internet and claiming everything as "Mine!"

I went to a pagan convention not too long ago. I got mobbed by people realising that I was "the Dela" its damn freaky.

Gah, I'd rather not think of that kind of 3 year old. Playgans right now is the only baby I want or need. Well...that and the still relatively new born Body Image. Oh and my adopted newborns The Turtle Moves and The Disc.

You feel old, I suddenly feel the need to get out more. Might be refering to all my projects as my "babies."

2007-06-11 [Azuri]: Ahaha at least it isnt your pets your referring to, people creep me out by doing that.

2007-06-12 [moonscale]: At least your not being called mommy, my friends call me that. Almost all of them. And we're all in highschool. The funny thing is I really do take care of them a lot.

2007-06-12 [sequeena_rae]: Hey, my cats are my babies ;____; mwahahahaha x)

2007-06-12 [Delladreing]: I get called "mother" by all my friends.

2007-06-12 [Azuri]: hehe that was my friend Ashleys nickname

2007-06-12 [Fuu]: My kitties are my babies and some of the projects I work on.

2007-06-12 [Azuri]: Mmm id call my new project my baby heh

2007-06-13 [Fuu]: Yea, my newest wiki is a big baby >< but I love it

2007-06-13 [Azuri]: Heh yea making wikis can be hard but its satisfying when I get it all up. Of course my wikis never make it very far >_> but that doesnt matter this is just so I get my ideas in a place that cant crash.

2007-06-13 [Fuu]: well my new one is a referance indes for people to use and it hold info and lyrics of various asian bands. Though I am still getting band stuff and lyrics stuff up and trying to recruit ppl for staff too >< its one big wiki....

2007-07-01 [BarleySinger]: Just trying to get the conversation going again...and yes I know this isn't about Playgans.

However...I have been wondering for a while why it is that the gatherings I have been to (in 2 countries and sponsored by so many different types of groups from Gardnerians to eclectics to Asatrua) are always so very much the same...and why they never seem to be actual celebrations of the seasons.

For those of you who have attended pagan gatherings on major seasonal holidays...please think about the differences between what you experienced and the image of an "Oktoberfest" (which -IS- a celebration of the harvest). Some place in the middle of those two experiences there is something that I would like to see happen. A celebration that acknowledges the scared but is -FUN- and not just a metaphysical exercise. It is just that everything I have been always seems to be mostly the same; always centred on the idea of getting people together for a magical ritual (Gardnerian style...despite the diversity of the people present or the personal spiritual leanings of the officiant).

Any ideas?

2007-07-12 [Satoshi_Haruko]: I am kinda new to this whole ritualistic thing, I think I need a few pointers. This ole vampire wants to learn a few things. If that is okay with you.

2007-07-12 [Delladreing]: So long as the fangs stay away from my neck, I'm anaemic enough as it is right now.

2007-07-15 [Sobre is the shit]: Forgive me... I forgot about ET for a while. But I'm back! Hehehe. I moved back in with my grandpa this month... it's weird to be home.

2007-07-15 [Delladreing]: Welcome back :)

2007-07-15 [Sobre is the shit]: Thanks! I missed ET so much! Lol

2007-07-16 [Satoshi_Haruko]: Well Deladreing, you don't have to worry about me biting you.

2007-08-07 [Celtic Rain]: This wiki is awesome. Kudos to the owner, I love your attitude.

2007-08-07 [Delladreing]: Thank you, welcome to the wiki :)

2007-08-18 [Estantia]: Why on earth don't I already watch this page so I know when the next rant is out?

2007-08-18 [Delladreing]: Because you're a silly goose.

Not that it matters, the next rant is a little way off. I'm working on the book right now so my time for online rantings has halted to a minimum.

2007-08-18 [Estantia]: Well I'm not complaining, rantings in a book to reach the world HAS to be good.

2007-08-18 [Delladreing]: I certainly hope it will be.

2007-08-18 [Estantia]: however you may have a 99% increase in hate mail and a 45% increase in OMG you rock mail.

2007-08-18 [Delladreing]: Eh, it'll be worth it I hope.

2007-08-19 [Estantia]: Yeah, if you can just knock some sense into one person it'll be worth it. but then if you help one person they won't be the only one.

2007-08-19 [Delladreing]: Very much so.

2007-08-19 [Estantia]: long live the rants. :)

2007-08-19 [Azuri]: *craves more rantyness in book form*

2007-09-21 [Satoshi_Haruko]: RANTS RANTS RANTS.........Vote for me.......just messing.

2007-09-21 [Delladreing]: o.O

2007-09-21 [Azuri]: Lol

Fricking semis >_< its the NMH trucking company and if you know about it can you get me the phone number???

2007-09-22 [sequeena_rae]: I can do a random sweep of Sandfields if you like lmao

2007-09-22 [a faerie tale]: Try Wash, D.C.
Our nations capital. Built on a swamp.
Worst. Decision. Ever.

2007-09-22 [Azuri]: lol yush im sure they are in sandfields XD

2007-09-22 [sequeena_rae]: You've no idea of the people we get down here xD

2007-09-23 [Azuri]: heheh im sure

2007-09-26 [Sobre is the shit]: Hey all, just swinging by to say hello!!!! Oh question, any of you ever run into the loonies that thought they could read aura's and fight "evil spirits"? Some moron that was trying to get into my pants was telling me all about is abilities and shit *laughs*. He's a high priest you know (please note saracasm).

2007-09-26 [sequeena_rae]: Sarcasm duly noted :p

2007-09-26 [Delladreing]: Or just high?

2007-09-26 [Sobre is the shit]: No he wasn't high, this was a continual convo. between me and him, and he didn't do drugs.

2007-09-26 [Delladreing]: So my own sarcasm got lost in there where :P

2007-09-26 [Sobre is the shit]: *laughs* Hard to read sarcasm. on top of that I'm still waking up....

2007-09-26 [sequeena_rae]: the net. It kills it.

2007-09-26 [Azuri]: wow sounds like a old highschool friend of mine. she really believes he fights them and its creepy

2007-09-26 [Sobre is the shit]: *chuckles* yeah it is a bit

2007-09-26 [a faerie tale]: Oh man, I knew a bunch of those kids.

2007-09-26 [Delladreing]: I think just about everyone on here who is a member knows/knew people like that.

2007-09-27 [Azuri]: yea its fairly creepy O.o its them that give us a bad name.

2007-09-27 [Sobre is the shit]: *laughs* Yeah, there's plenty of them to go around. We each probably have 20.

2007-09-27 [sequeena_rae]: I don't :D

2007-09-27 [Azuri]: Well you know what squee? Your mum...yup thats right :p XD

2007-09-27 [sequeena_rae]: Are you absolutely jipping my mother? XP

2007-09-27 [Sobre is the shit]: Squee's just lucky then.

2007-09-28 [HiddenFire]: I didn't find out until recently but "gyp" (commonly misspelled) is actually a racial slur directed at gypsies. I just never put 2 and 2 together until that episode of house... the one where the gypsy boy swallowed a toothpick. Just think... I've been tossing around racial slurs my entire life and never realized it! @.@

On a non-gypsy related note, I'm back! Too bad there aren't any punks around causing trouble. I suppose Dela just ran them all off screaming like the rest. ^_^

2007-09-28 [HiddenFire]: Back on topic. There are those that can read auras and perhaps there are those that can fight off evil spirits. However... if they're bragging about it, they're obviously just some dufus. I had a friend who would mess with girls, telling them that he could see their souls and tell them what they looked like. The girls thought it was all very fascinating... but it was a crock. He just told them crazy stuff and adapted the "image" based on their personality, likes, etc... There is no shortage of gullible people who will believe anyone's lies. There is also no shortage of those who are delusional enough to believe their own lies.

2007-09-28 [Delladreing]: *hugs* welcome back :)

And yes, people do train to do such things. I myself work with people and their "psychic vampires" although I don't like to call it that. I prefer to think of it more as "driving the fear out with spiritual therapy", it helps me sleep at night :p

But yes...the "I'm the best, I can see in to your soul!!!1!!twothree" just urgh.

2007-09-28 [HiddenFire]: Nah, it was funny. He wasn't that popular... and he knew it was garbage. He just did it for attention. It bugged me though... because I was pursuing actual knowledge of the metaphysical (although we where only in middle school) and there he was, getting attention for a scam. Almost makes you wonder which is more important: Power, or that others believe that you have power?

When it comes right down to it, the human mind is an amazing thing. If a person believes in something their mind can make it happen. A person can think themselves into being sick or think themselves into being healthy. Heck, with the right words and atmosphere, you can influence a person into believing that you're strangling their heart with your mind and they'll have a panic attack.

That simple fact really blurs a lot of lines and makes quite a few question the nature of the supernatural and metaphysical. I don't blame them. I often wonder, myself, if the abilities I think I have are little more than an overactive imagination, self hypnotism and biofeedback. The real problem lies in the fact that our worlds are built on perception, not reality. Makes things a lot more complicated. @.@

Psychic vampires? They wouldn't happen to be metaphysical entities (I won't say creatures) that leach off our psychic energy, would they? I wouldn't mind more information on such things. You know me, I love to learn.

2007-09-28 [Delladreing]: There is a debate about this. Yes that is one form of them. The other form is another individual who leaches off of others, sometimes not knowingly.

However they usually take the form of a bully, someone that delights in sapping the energy out of someone else.

Like you say the mind is a wonderous and dangerous thing as well.

2007-09-28 [Delladreing]: I've been putting this off for so long its been driving me nuts, but that's because I wanted to show you all something.

This July, Playgans turned 3 years old. And like all toddlers it threw itself down in a fit and demanded some attention. It wanted hats and streamers. It wanted to have its cake and damn well eat it. They always tell parents you should ignore your child when they do this. If you come running every time they throw their head back and scream they will eventually learn that that is the way to get attention, and become spoiled brats.

What with this being Playgans my brain child, I'd like you to try and imagine a child tripping on acid running with scissors. Then you will have some remote idea of what it was like trying to deal with it inside my head as it struggled, screamed and subconsciously manipulated me in to giving it some attention.

But I had my reasons. I was working on something, and here it is.

<img300*0:stuff/dela.myprecious1.jpg>

<img300*0:stuff/dela.myprecious2.jpg>
My preeeciouuuuuuuuuussssssss

Do you see that? Do you know what that is? That is the first completed section of the Playgans book. Fully edited and ready to be typed up. I have a third of my book written that I am finally happy with. I regret ever thinking it would be easy to transfer this psychosis in to something fit for a book shelf (but then again look at the other works of psychosis and Prozac they put out on those shelves) Playgans the website (hello my artist friends! Remember that favor I asked you?) and wiki (ah website you say? Yes yes more on that later) you learn in small bursts of sarcasm fury and small sparks of sheer possessed genius on my part. With this, I am having to make sure every sentence matters and that with every single word you learn something and it sinks in. And given my sarcastic nature it been rather hard not to make a joke every few lines and start threatening the reader. Ho hum, its good practice for when I'm going to be a teacher.

But there you have it. Playgans- Part 1 is now completed. Rejoice with me my dears, and wish Playgans at last, a very Happy Third Birthday :)

2007-09-28 [sequeena_rae]: *DANCE* :D

2007-09-28 [Azuri]: *dances with Squee*

2007-09-29 [Sobre is the shit]: *does a little jig then sits with her coffee to watch people dance*

2007-09-29 [Avoral]: GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH <3's it

2007-09-29 [HiddenFire]: Oh, awesome. You should consider publishing it. Cafepress does do self-publishing... but I don't know much about it. If you need some webspace, Godaddy has some for pretty cheap. Heck, I might be able to host the site for you at a discount... though I would have to figure out how to do that. @.@

If you need any help with anything, let me know. Even if it's just an ear... or eye as it where.

2007-09-29 [HiddenFire]: GOOD NEWS! a quick domain name check, www.playgans.com is available! If you're considering getting a domain name and webspace, grab it quick.

My only other suggestion would be wordpress.org
It's basically a program that allows you to set up a blog on your webspace. I'm using it for my website www.chimericfire.com and it seems to do just fine. I think it would also lend itself well to the nature of Playgans because the page here already behaves much like a blog. If you decide to go that route, I can walk you through setup if need be.

2007-09-29 [HiddenFire]: Now... www.playgan.com is taken. There's nothing there, but the name is reserved until 2008... which is unfortunate, because it could confuse your readers should they forget that very important "s". You could, however, reserve it so that has soon as it becomes available... if they do not renew, you will grab it. It's a bit extra, but might be worth it. *shrugs*

2007-09-29 [Delladreing]: Nah, needs to be playgans...I may have to grab that one >.>

And yes it will be published, just not till I have more of the book done. Thank you :)

2007-09-29 [Sobre is the shit]: I can't wait!

2007-09-29 [Estantia]: neither can I, go dela!

2007-09-29 [HiddenFire]: Sweet, I can't wait either. Now that I think about it, your method is actually very good. By starting it off as a blog you do two things: build a fanbase, get free editing, spelling/grammar checking, as well as feedback (which helps polish revisions). When you to get around to publishing, you've already got a group of people who not only had a hand in getting it where it is, but also who are just waiting to buy and make you some money! It's brilliant!

2007-09-29 [Delladreing]: ...lol, I know :P

It wasn't done purely by chance >.>

2007-09-30 [sequeena_rae]: Yes, and one day I will be the next mother teresa :P

2007-09-30 [Delladreing]: Haha, nah, I actually am that sneaky, I knew that if I wanted to get the message out, the internets was the only place to go.

2007-09-30 [HiddenFire]: That's true. The fast paced nature of modern living does not lend well to having much of a social life. The internet is a convenient solution.

2007-09-30 [sequeena_rae]: Besides, if she'd done it the normal way, it might have turned out that she would have been jipped by many publishing companies. This way, make it a phenomenon and they can't say no to publishing :P

You know what, I really think phenomenon is the wrong word, but whatever.

2007-09-30 [Delladreing]: It makes it well known with a well established demand in the market, but yea I know what you mean :P

2007-09-30 [sequeena_rae]: Exactly.

I should be a politician.

2007-09-30 [Delladreing]: The fate of the world would be doomed XP

2007-09-30 [sequeena_rae]: Oi, shut up you :P I'd be a legend politician x) I just wouldn't be a good one.

2007-09-30 [Delladreing]: Lmao, fair does.

2007-09-30 [Azuri]: Id vote for you if i could squee XD

2007-09-30 [a faerie tale]: I'm so excited. :)

2007-10-01 [Avoral]: Your face is excited.

2007-10-01 [Azuri]: O.o Wow I've never heard anyone use a "Your face" joke besides my friends before O.o

2007-10-01 [Sobre is the shit]: I'll cheer you on Squee!!!! *get's her pom-pom's and old cheerleader out fit and replaces "Raiders" with "Squee" and put's it on* GOOOOO!!!!! *run's off in a fit off giggles*
