2006-12-26 [sequeena_rae]: Wow, that sounds lovely o.o
2006-12-26 [a faerie tale]: It is.

2006-12-27 [Delladreing]: I want a kimono as well lol badly >.>
2006-12-27 [Azuri]: Hehe Ive been bugging Pete about it for a looooong time XD Eventually we want to visit Japan so if that ever happens I'm sure thats when Ill get one heh.
2006-12-27 [a faerie tale]: Haha, we should have a round robin kimono shipping party.
2006-12-27 [Azuri]: Haha, that would be amusing.
2006-12-27 [Rondel]: Lovely kimono! So, when do we get to see yours, [a faerie tale]? ;D
[Azuri], I'm VERY happy for you. :) I'll never forget watching the local... ...er... ...multiply-en
I have to say, though, I think one reason why there are so many "boys" in men's bodies is because there are so many "girls" who have long since passed 20 years of age. *sigh* It's not entirely a gender-linked problem.
2006-12-27 [a faerie tale]: Mmm, that would require me going upstairs. I'm too lazy at the moment, but as the Gods as my witness, I'll wear my kimono again! (...and take a picture of it.)
2007-01-02 [The Blood Angel]: Well I hope everyone had a happy New Years day. I ate indian and played board games with my Fiancee's family.
2007-01-02 [sequeena_rae]: Mine was great :D I also had an Indian (On new years eve of course) and broke into a car :D
2007-01-05 [sezmo lex]: i didnt drink, drove all my friends around and sat on the moors with my first love (who thinks she is pregnant, not to me of course) after everyone was safe at home, after 4 hours looking at the stars and talking through the worries of the world of the girl i love more than anything in the world, i went home, got in bed with my husband and understood why i married him, this may seam like a strange post but i have been thinking about myself for a while and needed to let the world know i love my husdand, and deep down i will always hold a level of respect for my ex and i leaned it straight from the stars themsleves. a good start to hopfully a good year. xxx
2007-01-05 [a faerie tale]: I got chinese take out.
2007-01-06 [moonscale]: I ate at a Japanese restaurant with my family actually. At one of the little tables where you kneel. I'm afraid I've forgoten what they are called. It was actually really comfortable as I couldn't sit comfortably in a chair- I bruised my leg very painfully while skiing.
2007-01-06 [sezmo lex]: skiing...hummm
2007-01-07 [a faerie tale]: Aw, sad day. Hope your leg feels better!
2007-01-07 [The Blood Angel]: Oh crud I hope the leg is better.
But on a lighter (and easily amused) note. Just read your Hous Faerie and was enjoying what you had put down, but then I get to the little sign saying 'sorry, I don't do boys' and I just could help but laugh. Sorry I'm easily amused.
2007-01-07 [a faerie tale]: Heheh. My house is me in a green-shaded nutshell.
Perhaps a pistachio?
2007-01-07 [The Blood Angel]: Definatly Where as my house is shit on a stick
2007-01-07 [moonscale]: Thank you, but my leg is fine. It was only sore on Christmas when we ate at the fun table.
My house is completely impersonal. *shrug*
2007-01-09 [The Naiad]: Wahh, I've been away in Spain all week and missed so much here. What's been going on?!
2007-01-09 [Azuri]: *is jealous* I wish I could travel! *hugs Naiad* Welcome back though and you have missed more than random chatter^_^
2007-01-09 [The Naiad]: Hehe. Thanks Azuri. I had a good time anyway, and I am back, and so commence the random chatter.
2007-02-13 [sezmo lex]: i want togo australer
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Eh, we are about to be linked to some wesbite that defines the term "playgan" I think...althou
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: o.O Sounds interesting
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: I thought so too.
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Does however mean my work is more open to theft >.o
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Arg, no way =/
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Blarg you know we would hunt down any dumbass who attempts to take your work *readys the pitchfork*
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Comforting :D
2007-02-13 [Falx]: Pitchforks, torches, screaming angry mobs out for blood... You name it Dela and we can probably sic it on anyone who even remotely thinks about stealing your stuff. ^_^
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Haha, why thank you my most loyal friends ;)
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: I think I'll just sit on them o.O
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Haha Ill probably doing squee in her tactics. *is fat XD*
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Rawr [Azuri], you're going to do me are you? XP
Aha, lies. Lies.
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: haha I totally ment to put a join in there somewhere, ah the joys of waking up way too damned early XD
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Aha, admit it, you just want to do me ;) XD
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Damn straight ;)
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Mwahahaah x)
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Why must you turn every wiki in to a hole of perversion XD
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: [Azuri] started it >.>
2007-02-13 [Delladreing]: Uhu, and you just couldnt leave it alone :P
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Well...No XD
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: XD she cant leave this kinda stuff alone, its in her blood you know XD

2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Ooo! did you hear Squee! The last Harry Potter is coming out real soon and you can preorder it on amazon.com for almost half the price
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: I did I did :3
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Im so getting one, I dont think I could go for long without it XD My boss wants me to order one for her too XD
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: I'll pre order one soon, when I have the money ¬_¬
That or I'll just go down to Woolworths, I don't think there's many HP fanatics where I live, most of them are too high on drugs to even notice.
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Hahah ah yes, common ailment here. they are either too high or too drunk.
2007-02-13 [sequeena_rae]: Woe is us :(
2007-02-13 [Azuri]: Indeed* Kicks all the druggies and drunks* bastids
2007-02-14 [moonscale]: Typo: WITH THREE EASY STEPS"] <-- does that belong there?
2007-02-14 [Delladreing]: it used to :P
2007-02-16 [Sobre is the shit]: Hey i got a story for ya all... i had some guy tell me that he was gonna curse me when i wouldnt go out with him.... lmao it was kinda funny. there's more to it but i dont feel like typing it out right now i will in a couple hours.
2007-02-16 [Delladreing]: Ah, those kind of stories. They are never ending it seems.
2007-02-16 [Sobre is the shit]: that they are... some are amusing some just piss me off... depends on my mood i guess...
2007-02-16 [Delladreing]: Blog update my lovelies. Read it and see if you can help.
2007-02-16 [Fuu]: Dela I'm not good at it per say but I know quite a few people who might be able to help. Plus I have told them about Playgans (they're non-elftowners) and they love the idea. I can see if I can talk to them to see if they can spare the time and effort away from classes.
2007-02-16 [Delladreing]: Ah thank you hun. I don't want to put people out too much, but my own skillz as it were are limited >.o
2007-02-16 [Fuu]: Its no problem. Next time I see them or talk to them I'll see if they have time to do it. It all depends on their class schedules and all. But hopefully somebody might be able to help. Plus the people I am talking about know how to follow directions and can do whatever you want while giving it a little "witchy" flare that isn't very playgy.
2007-02-16 [Delladreing]: heh, thanks :)
2007-02-16 [Fuu]: Welcome! ^_^ Alright now I think I better go make cupcakes.
2007-02-16 [Azuri]: Mmm I left a message on the other page but I'm up for trying to help depending on what needs to be done.
2007-02-17 [Willow Rose]: http://www.jes
I just thought I'd post this here for people to look at... It makes me really mad. Just the fact that they group Wicca/Witchcra
And the whole site kind of makes me angry. Talking about other websites for "modest" dress patterns and material for women, and how women are supposed to obey and be submissive to men, and that there shouldn't be any shame or anything that the woman is "under authority". And this
" 2. Another reason God requires a woman to be subject to her husband is also found in 1 Tim. 2…It is not easy to understand or accept, but it is part of God’s plan, of finding peace in the home. ”Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to …usurp authority over the man…And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstgandi
Anyway... Sorry, it just really annoyed me, and needed to tell someone.
2007-02-17 [The Blood Angel]: Now that is one fucked up site.
2007-02-17 [Willow Rose]: YAY! Someone agrees and can share my anger/disbelie
2007-02-17 [The Blood Angel]: not anger, but certainly Disbelief and mostly pitty. my message to them. 'The bible is a freaking guide line! not a way of life!'
2007-02-17 [Willow Rose]: I'm mostly angry about the things they say about women on there over the religions.
And I find it off that they list other Christian churches as false.
2007-02-17 [The Blood Angel]: Its not uncommon for those sort of 'infighting' look what happened to protestants before it became popular.
2007-02-17 [Willow Rose]: I used to think that "Christian" was the term for someone who believed in god. I know Catholics who call themselves Christian. But now there's Christianity religion (I know a family who runs one, their daughter is one of my best friends *which is HARD*), that says Catholics, Lutherans, etc aren't Christian...
2007-02-17 [windowframe]: Well that's a funny position to take, when one considers the definition of Christian.
2007-02-17 [Delladreing]: That went by me rather fast there and resulted in an eyetwitch
2007-02-18 [sequeena_rae]: False religions exposed?
Sorry, it's not get any anger out of me. It's getting a lot of laughter.
2007-02-18 [Delladreing]: Reading that up there, I refuse to click the link, if I get any angrier than I have been of late for health reasons, it does make me laugh.
The idea that any man would even think to claim authority over me makes me fall over laughing. I can imagine myself quite well in medievil times being told to do something and then either a) being a bully of a wife or b) being sent to a convent.
I'd be a sweet little wife if only I had a sweet husband that knew that really, if he pissed me off, his balls are forfeit.
2007-02-18 [Azuri]: Bwahahah I could see that.
2007-02-18 [Falx]: I'm not sure whether I'm going with a)righteous fury, b)uncontrollable hideous laughter of the Tasha's variety, or c)crying over that website. I think I felt some of my brain cells just die.
2007-02-18 [sequeena_rae]: One day Dela, I shall write your life story <3333
2007-02-18 [Delladreing]: Haha, only if I get the royalties <3
2007-02-18 [sequeena_rae]: Eh, we'll come to an arrangement XP
2007-02-18 [Delladreing]: That we will my dear that we will.
2007-02-18 [Azuri]: Ooo I wanna do the cover art then XD
2007-02-18 [sequeena_rae]: Aha, yeah! XD
2007-02-19 [Fuu]: I wanna help too!
2007-02-20 [windowframe]: *announces* Dela told me to pass on the message of 'hi' to Elftown people. :)
2007-02-20 [moonscale]: O.o Where is she? I say hi too! *waves*
Oh and I'd read that book....:P
2007-02-20 [sequeena_rae]: Internet is down :(
Hiya Dela XP
2007-02-20 [windowframe]: She connected to the net briefly via her phone. And then *poof* gone again.
2007-02-20 [moonscale]: Ah how tragic.... let us morn the tragedy of Dela's net's death.
2007-02-20 [sequeena_rae]: *mourning*
2007-02-20 [Delladreing]: *haunts* :P
2007-02-20 [Falx]: Augh! Dela ghost! Run away! *hides*
2007-02-21 [Fuu]: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
2007-02-21 [Azuri]: *Hides in the cookie jar* scaarrry!
2007-02-21 [a faerie tale]: Oh goodness, I've been gone for too long.
2007-02-21 [moonscale]: NO! shes dead!
*runs into a wall*
*falls over*
2007-02-22 [Fuu]: every person for themselves!!!! *runs from under couch and hides in a lightbulb*
2007-02-22 [Sobre is the shit]: *walks up* ooohhhh ghostie....*tr
2007-02-22 [Fuu]: O.oo.O I think I trapped myself in the lightbulb
2007-02-22 [Delladreing]: Mwaha *haunts again* ah can't wait for my connection to come back tomorrow x.x I have sooo much mail to go through >.o
2007-02-22 [Fuu]: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
2007-02-23 [Azuri]: Hahah silly silly lightbulbs arnt for hiding XD
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Mwahaha I live :D
2007-02-23 [Azuri]: EEepps! Well glad to see you got your promised Dsl in a timely manner XD
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Sweet fuck, it arrived at half 6 this morning. HALF SIX!
2007-02-23 [Azuri]: That is amazing O.o I wish our cable/phone/in
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Heh, I think the fact that while on the phone to them I kept hinting that it was a desperate need (*wail*I need it for university*/wa
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: Aha, so that's where I've gone wrong.
NTL are fuckers.
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Yes, yes they fucking well are >.o get BT, you get free evening calls with it as well.
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: :o
But I don't use the phone, I prefer to send smoke signals XD
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: But....I have no response for that XD
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: \m/ *wins* Better luck next time Dela *pet pet* XD
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Well..if you used the phone line with that deal we could terrorise the phonelines over the UK as well as the internets!
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: :o I like the way you think!
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: Mwhaha
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: Imagine all the evil stuff we could do x)
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: For free XD
2007-02-23 [sequeena_rae]: *insert evil laughter here* BT doesn't know what it's let itself in for xD
2007-02-23 [Delladreing]: I know, the FOOLS
2007-02-23 [Fuu]: *knocks on the glass of the lightbulb* Can someone help, please..... please....? *starts to cry* I don't wanna be stuck in a lightbulb the rest of my life!!!!! :'(
2007-02-23 [Willow Rose]: ...*breaks light bulb*
2007-02-23 [moonscale]: *finds another lightbulb and puts over Fuu's head*
2007-02-24 [Fuu]: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
2007-02-24 [moonscale]: aww... I'm sorry... *gives Fuu a big hug*
2007-02-24 [Fuu]: *cries* I... don't... wanna... live in... a ..... lightbulb... all my life!!! *cries waterfalls and starts drowning in lightbulb* !!
2007-02-24 [moonscale]: *takes back lightbulb* There there now. You won't be stuck for ever. *Hands around cookies*
2007-02-24 [Fuu]: *glomps mmonscale then runs around room waving cookies* FREEDOM!!!!!!!
2007-02-24 [Killopkie]: Oh my.
2007-02-25 [Delladreing]: Welcome to the wiki Killopkie.
2007-02-25 [Fuu]: *glomps Killopkie* Welcome Welcome!!!!!
2007-02-25 [moonscale]: lol... *gives Killopkie cookies*
2007-02-25 [Fuu]: *is hyper after eating too many cookies and continues to run around in circles*
2007-02-25 [BarleySinger]: Well back on topic perhaps....Aft
There are lots of books on many different Gardnerian inspired neo-pagan paths, yet nearly nothing on being an "Eco Pagans". There is very little written for people who have a spiritual connection to the land and who are primarily interested in the way they treat the world on a day-to-day basis...on treading lightly on the world that gave them life.
2007-02-25 [Delladreing]: Heh, good luck with trying to keep things on topic my friend. I've long since given up :P
But hurrah, again, you know I like your writing -even if I don't always get round to replying to all the messages (for which I'm sorry >.>) so it would be most interesting to sit down with a book of your making and have at it :)
2007-02-26 [BarleySinger]: Well, I have been writing what ever comes to mind, and things that wander too far off of the topic, and cannot be connected in any real way, just go into a directory for "other books".
The main thing that I like the most is the idea of the "Green Creed". It is far more serious that the kind of thing you find in your average "Llewellyn Publications" book on paganism.
I have placed what I have of that chapter (Chapter 7...at least for now) online as a wiki for anyone who wants to read what I have written.
2007-02-27 [Fuu]: okay this is gonna sound really wierd but, does anyone here have pets and if so does anyone have pictures of said pets?
2007-02-27 [sequeena_rae]: *wanders off to see wiki*
I have many pets, there's always a picture in my house of one of them, why do you ask?
2007-02-27 [The Naiad]: I have two kittens - there's photos of them on the other computer. Why'd you ask?
2007-02-27 [Fuu]: for my one class in school i am producing a show on pets. it'll include how to take care of them, vets, travel, laws, if u wanna adopt, stuff like that. And i am right now working on getting the opening sequence together. so i've been asking people if they have pictures and if i might be allowed to use them in the opening. Be forwarned this program is going on TV, this show is for my schools cable program.
2007-02-28 [The Naiad]: Ah, right, I see. Well, I don't have any pics of the kittens on me at the mo, but if I can get to some I'll lend you them for your project.
2007-02-28 [sequeena_rae]: You can fine most photos of my cats here; http://sequeen
2007-02-28 [Fuu]: Yay!!! *glomps* THANK YOU BOTH SOOOOOO MUCHIES!!!!
2007-02-28 [sequeena_rae]: You're welcome ^^
2007-03-01 [Fuu]: and if i use them in the opening i will probably try and load the opening onto youtube so everyone who contributed pictures but doesn't get the channel can see.
2007-03-02 [BarleySinger]: Has anyone who has read that chapter got any comments, irritations, ideas, whatever...I have had problems getting much feedback from anyone on this book so far.
2007-03-02 [Rondel]: Well, speaking for myself, I'm really enjoying seeing the way these ideas are coming together into something quite meaningful and coherent. It's nice to see these things go from "I seem to see a theme to your ranting", to "dang, that makes a lot of sense, I can really relate to that, it's putting a lot of what I've been feeling and believing into words". Early responses from those folks I've talked to about The Green Creed are very positive. :) You make a good representative voice for these beliefs, and that's not something I say lightly about anything this near and dear to my heart -- as [Delladreing] herself is aware, as I felt much the same way about the Playgans pages. :D They're very different subjects, but when it comes to things I care about, it takes a strong impassioned voice to make me feel that I'm being represented without having to chime in to make sure that *my* views are fully articulated.
2007-03-04 [Azuri]: *does the happy dance* You know we did!
2007-03-11 [Rondel]: Of course we did -- how could we not?! :D
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Hehe - I was afraid my sarcastic rage would not have been missed :(
But now I realise how silly that was and now I'm writing again, another one should be up by the middle of this week.
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: YES!
*ahem*
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: ...well we all know squee will always love me. What with the violating and the inappropriaten
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: *serenades* If only you would admit that you enjoyed it xD
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Oh God XD
And ruin my spotlesss err pure uhm reputation?!
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: I'll have you know that my serenading voice attracts cats and bats from miles around :P
If only you had a spotless and pure reputation ...Yes?
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: :O om jipped!
...but fair enough XD
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: *flutters eyelashes* I try my best
I knew you'd see it my way x)
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Well its rather hard with blinkers on to see it any other way >.>
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: Are you accusing me of something? :o
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Accusing no. peaking out against you yes XD
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: *whips* Your teenage rebellion ways must be quashed!
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Om I only have a day and half left of being a teen :(
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: Om isn't it 21 when you become an adult?
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: No thats 18 love.
But I'm no longer a teen. Theres no teen at the end of my age o_o
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: ...Uh what what WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
Ooooo riiiiight.
2007-03-11 [The Blood Angel]: Ha you young chicks!
2007-03-11 [Delladreing]: Yea at 18 you can be tried in court as an adult and all that other stuff that happens to adults :P
But yea now I am no longer a teen x.x
2007-03-11 [sequeena_rae]: Not even funny.
2007-03-11 [Azuri]: Heh you too are always so inappropriate no wonder my DA page put you together. *does the happy dance* I haven't been a teen in almost two years *is turning 21 in Oct*
2007-03-12 [Rondel]: Congratulation
2007-03-12 [Delladreing]: Thank you dearest :)
2007-03-12 [Fuu]: Congrats! ^_^
2007-03-12 [a faerie tale]: In the US you're an adult at 18. Laaaaaame.
2007-03-12 [The Blood Angel]: LOL and yet you cant drink till your 21? Thats just stupid.
2007-03-13 [a faerie tale]: Yup! You can vote, die for your country, and buy porn+cigarette
2007-03-13 [Azuri]: Yup but you sure can go fight and die in a war for your country >>
2007-03-13 [wiccanangel]: Can't believe how young you are Dela o.0. Congrats! Have a great day.
2007-03-13 [Rondel]: Actually, as I recall (I could be wrong here), if you're in the military, there are special dispensations which let you drink while you're on base (and off duty, of course). Makes sense to me -- if you're putting your life on the line, you better be considered old enough to be trusted with alcohol, given that you're being trusted with lethal weapons of mass destruction.
2007-03-13 [Azuri]: Hmm I think your right Rondel. I cant remember though, its been awhile since Ive known anyone in the military who was under 21.
2007-03-17 [Rondel]: I've known several -- but they weren't exactly poster children for the idea that being in the military made one responsible enough to be trusted with *either* alcohol use *or* lethal weapons... *wry laugh* Ah well, I can say the same of some of the over-21s, too, for that matter. Not all, mind you, but definitely some.
2007-03-17 [Azuri]: Lol tis true tis true. I remember when my friend Tommy joined the military he was under 21 and he wouldn't use his Id to buy any one who was under aged alcohol. I think the only person he ever used it for was his aunt.
2007-03-17 [Silver Moon]: may I join?
2007-03-17 [Delladreing]: Feel free :)
2007-03-17 [Silver Moon]: cool thnx
2007-03-17 [Silver Moon]: were do I join? There is allot on here

2007-03-18 [BarleySinger]: Actualy in the US, you can join the millitary (with your parents permission) at 17 years old.
Article 38 of the Geneva Convention says :
1. States Parties undertake to respect and to ensure respect for rules of international humanitarian law applicable to them in armed conflicts which are relevant to the child.
2. States Parties shall take all feasible measures to ensure that persons who have not attained the age of 15 years do not take a direct part in hostilities.
3. States Parties shall refrain from recruiting any person who has not attained the age of 15 years into their armed forces. In recruiting among those persons who have attained the age of 15 years but who have not attained the age of 18 years, States Parties shall endeavour to give priority to those who are oldest.
The US federal government is one of very few countries who have refused to sign the U.N. internation laws banning the use of child soldiers (those under 18 years old). If the US government says that there is a big enough emergency, people can be drafted into active combat at 15 years of age.
There are reasons for that. There is hard science that show why it is easier to get child soldiers to do things that adult soldiers will refuse to do. It is also far more horrific to have a child perform atrocities - more shockgin and traumatic.
This has to do with the "paring" process. In the late teens, usually not until around 17, people begin to experience a change to the physical brains wiring. "Pairing" is a process where all of the things that a person has experienced and leared get shuffled together for easier access by the brain (like purging a database). Part of that process involves linking ones life experiences directly into the brain stems emotional centers. This causes the creation of a far stronger "ethical center" - one that gives a person an instant emotional reaction to things that are ethically wrong, instead of having to think them through. It is sort of the ethical equivenet of the "fight or flight" reaction to perceived dangers. It gives a person a "heads up" that something is wrong before they have the option to think it all through. Imagine having to think through every possible danger in life before reacting to it, "hmmm it looks like a snake...I wonder what kind...I'll get closer and see". That could be fatal in many parts of the world.
This piece of science (paring) is now pretty well understood as a normal part of human development.
I has a lot of ramifications in law (juvenile courts, age of sexual consent, etc). I think that paring is a brain function that happens from time to time throughout life (my opinion), as key life experiences add up.
