"Do you have all of your things, Lillian?" asked Beatrice Koswell, Lillian's aunt. Lillian stared at the grey sky out of the window in the lobby of the hospital. Her mind buzzed and whirred as thoughts flooded her. "Lillian!" her aunt repeated. Lillian jerked and looked at her aunt.

"I'm sorry, what did you ask?" she asked softly. Her aunt looked at her with pity and repeated her question.

"Do you have all of your things? Did the nurse return your clothes to you?" she asked.

Lillian nodded. "Yes." Beatrice looked at her niece briefly before she turned. "Your uncle and sister are in the car outside...lets go." Beatrice told her.

Lillian walked behind her aunt, staring at the floor. she was happy to leave the psychiatric ward but she didn't feel like she was ready to deal with the outside world again. Not when her thoughts mainly consisted of macabre images of the death of her friend, Isabella Forte.

As she and her aunt approached their blue sedan, she paused and looked back at the tall and looming building she had just spent a year of her life in. From the outside it didn't look at sterile as the inside smelled. "Come on, get in. Its going to rain soon." Beatrice told her as thunder rumbled in the sky. Lillian nodded, opened the back door of the car and slid in beside her sister.

Jasmine shifted her seatbelt a little and looked over to her sister. She didn't have the chance to come see her while she was in here. After all she was off talking classes for the last year. It was something she wanted. But her Aunt had convinced her to come down the weekend that Lillian was released. So she agreed and well, here she was. She shifted and looked outside of the car window as the rain then started to hammer the car. Torn up on the inside. Her and her sister were so close. It broke her heart to be like this now.

Lillian stared down at the floor of the vehicle. she felt the tug to say something to her sister but couldn't bring herself to do it.

Richard, their uncle, coughed to clear his throat and looked at the girls from the rear view mirror. "Your aunt and I have some news for you both." He began. "we have decided to move to Chicago...you know, to get away from this state. we are going to try and salvage our family life as well as your social lives." Richard looked specifically at Jasmine. "There are plenty of good schools in Chicago...and with your grades, I am sure you can get into any college you want." He then looked at Lillian. "There is a very nice highschool there that you will like. It'll be a nice place for your senior year."

Lillian sighed. she felt so guilty. she hated that her sister was going to be forced to switch colleges.

"But that's SO not fair." Jasmine shot out. "I like where I go. I have a sturdy boyfriend. Good friend and nice classes." She protested. "That's not right that Just cause she goes I have to go to." She said, corssed her arms over her chest and sighed. "I don't want to switch schools." She said a little softer. "You guys can't make me." She added and then looked to her sisted. "This. ALl of this. It's your fault." She said and then snapped her head away from her face. He hurt to look at her. She looked so much like their mother. She bite the inner side of her lip. She missed them so much. How was she going to break it to Carrie, Liz and Vince that she had to move something miles away. She wouldn't that's how. She's stay in her school. And just move into a doorm. That was all there was to it. She wasn't about to started her 2nd year at a new school cause of her sister mistake.

Beatrice turned her head sharply and glared at Jasmine. "You are going and thats final. Your uncle and I help you greatly in paying for your school. we didn't decide to do this as a punishment to you, we decided to do this to keep this family together and to make it stronger. You just need to calm down and choose your words carefully. Your sister has gone through so much, she doesn't need you to come along and tear her down for a decision that your uncle and I made. If you want to take it out on someone, take it out on us."

Lillian slowly turned her head to look at her sisters. Hot tears streamed down her face. "I am sorry, Jazz.." she whispered, folding her arms.

"Mom never would have pulled me out of school." Jasmine whispered and then hit her head agianst the car and sighed. She just wanted to get back to campus. She wanted to get back to Vince. She rubbed her arm and then shifted at her sisters voice. She then bit her lip a little harder. She wanted to hold her sister close and rock her like mom did when they were upset or hurt. She really wanted all her sisters pain to, just go away. She looked over to her and sighed. "Lilly. I just. Sorry." She said very softly. She looked away. The water streaked window reflectiong the pain on the inside. She swollowed hard. "When...when are we moving?" She asked softly as she looked to the front of the car.

Richard turned down their street, the moving van was already outside their home. "we will be leaving tomorrow. Your aunt and I have already packed your things..." he said to both girls. "Jasmine, you can go spend the rest of the day with your friends if you wish. But, we are leaving early in the morning."

Lillian wiped the tears off of her face and unbuckled her seatbelt as the car rolled to a stop infront of the house.

"This is going to be a hard obstacle in our lives, but we can over come it with each others' help." Beatrice told her family, as they got out of the car.

"Lilly." Jasmine said before her sister jumped up and out of the car. "WOuld. Would you like to go to the college with me?" SHe asked. "Met my friends. They heard a bit about you. All good I swear it." She said. "It's not far. If you'd rather stay home that's fine." She said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and looked to her sister. There was a softy innocent smile on her face. "Vince would..he would really like to met you." She added. She didn't want to preasure her into it. "I'm going. I have a few things in Carrie's dorm I have to pick up anyway." She said. "So. You up for it?" She asked her one last time as the car stopped and was turned off by her uncle. Her car off to the side. It was a ice blue buick centry. It was their mother's car. SOmething she left for Jasmine. For which she was highly gratefull for.

Lillian paused for a moment. she didn't think she was completely ready to be around strangers again, but she knew that this was important to her sister. "I would love to go, Jazz. I smell like a hospital though, I am going to go inside and get cleaned up." she said, walking inside the house, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible.

After Lillian had gone inside, Beatrice went up to Jasmine and put her arm around her. "I am so proud of you. You are proving to us that you are mature." she told her.

"Yea. Thankx." Jasmine said and then smiled at her as she then rushed to the house. Getting away fromt he rain. She shook off a little and kicked off her shoes. Then turned right and rushed right up stairs. "I have your favorite cookies at Carrie's. SO if nothing else. We can get my things. And the cookies. Then just go and see mom and dad?" She asked as she leaned agianst her younger sister's bedroom door. "I'm sure they'd like to see you." She said.

Lillian stood in front of her mirror which had not yet been packed up. she played with her curly auburn hair. Her eyes peered at her reflection, she was completely lost in thought and gasped when she realized that Jasmine had been behind her, talking. "Um, yeah. That sounds like a good idea.." she said quietly. she looked hard at her reflection. she had changed so much, even in appearance. Her skin was pale and her eyes looked red and tired. Her hair was more stringy and less bouncy. "...I look horrible..."

'Well." Jasmine said as she pushed off the door and walked over and then grabbed the brush that was on the vanity. She then started to brush her hair, much like their mother used to. "Go take a shower. We'll make the trip fast then come back here, order pizza. Maybe watch a movie then fall asleep on the couch together like we used to when we would wait for mom and da to get back from a date. How's that sound?" She asked and then set the brush down and wrapped her arms around her sister softly and hugged her from behind a little, slowly pulling away.

Lillian breathed in through her nose. Her sister always smelled the same, she smelled like comfort and safety. "You said pizza...you know my weakness." she joked. she grabbed her clothes and headed to the bathroom. she turned on the shower and waited for it to heat up. she sat on the sink, again looking into the mirror. she smiled slightly. Maybe I am better... she thought wishfully. she stood up, undressed and hopped into the shower. she began to hum a tune and enjoyed her warm shower. After twenty minutes or so, she got out of the shower, dried off, and put her clothes on. she dried her hair and walked out into the living room.

Jasmine looked up and smiled, "There. Looking better already." She said as she then stood up. "Lucky enough the rain slowed down." She smiled and then stepped into the hallway. "Aunt Beatrice. Lily and I are leaving. We'll be back in like a hour. Hour in a half." She called as she pulled her jean jacket back on and pulled her long auburn hair free of it. She walked over to the front door and grabbed her keys, pulling her flats one. "Ready when you are." She said looking to Lily.

Lillian smiled. "Okay, lets go!" she said after slipping her converses on.

Beatrice looked at them from the kitchen. "Okay, just be careful, girls!" she called out to them.

"We will. Promise." Jasmine called back as she opened the doora dn then stepped out. She hummed softly as she walked to the car. She unlocked it smiled. It still smelt of mom, and the pine secnt from her freshener. She slipped into the driver's seat and then wiggled a bit. Puller her seatbelt on and turned the car on and waited for her sister to get in, as a Kate Voegele song came on the radio.

Lillian opened the passenger door and slid into the vehicle. Almost suddenly she felt her throat tighten and tears well up in her eyes. "This car is just as mom left it...its almost too much like the way she left it." she told her sister.

Jasmine nodded and smiled. "Oh yea." She said as she shifted to drive then pulled out of her parking space and down the driveway. Then finally onto the room. "It's like a peice of her that is with me always." She said. "And. Then you open the trunk and there is dad." She added. "The cat litter, jumper cables, blanket and a extra coat. Boy he was always prepared for anything." She said as she started down the road. It was a good fifteen minuet drive.

Lillian giggled. she thought of a time when they were stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery. Their dad made them think that they were done for until he pulled out a carriable battery charger. "He was half pack-rat and half genius.."

"That is one way to look at it. That is for sure." Jasmine said as she then stopped at a red light. She turned the radio down a little and sighed. "It's really great having you back." She said as she lookde voer to her sister and smiled softly. "Really." She said softly as she then turned left the Campus was a little off yet. She started to bit the inner side of her lower lip as she started to get nervous with her sister agian. She hated that turning stomach feeling.

Lillian smiled for a brief moment. she was happy to be back too. she didn't think she would be able to bare the horrors inside the psych ward...much less the horrors that creeped around in the back of her mind. For a moment she thought of a woman she met in the ward. she had been sent there because she commited several suicide attempts. Her arms were scarred with cut marks and her black hair fell across her face in strings. The girl never said much, she just stared off into the nothingness of space. Much like Lillian was beginning to do.

"Oh good we're here." Jasmine said and then pulled into the parking spot next to her friend Carrie's car. "Okay. Off to see Carrie. Say goodbye to her. Then off to see Vince." She said and then turned the car off, unbulked her seat belt and then looked to Lily. "Lilly." She said. "Lilly. If you don't want to go. I can go and make it really fast then be right back here." She said. "That is if your not up to it."

Lillian looked back to her sister. "No, I can come. I mean, I can do this." she told her, sounding confident but secretly afraid. "Lets go." she said with a smile.

"Okay. Come on." Jasmine said and then got out of the car and then leaned agianst and and grinned waving as she saw Carrie running over to her. Short black hair, couple pericings and tattoos. But she was Jasmine's closest friend. Carrie jumped up into her amrs and hugged her. Jasmine set her down and smiled. "Carrie." She said. "This is my little sister Lillian." She said and then smiled.

Carrie grinned then rushed around and went to hug then stopped. "Wait.y uo might not like that. She held her hand out and smiled. Her lip pericing glittering in the sunlight. She was in tight bright blue jeans, purple converse and a black t-shirt witht he words. 'The voice's told me to.' Written across it. She set her pokemon bag/ourse on the car and grinned. "It's great to finally met you." She said.

Lillian hesitated for a brief second but then took Carrie's hand and shook it gently and let go quickly, her hand dropping to her side. "Its so nice to meet you too." she said softly. Her eyes glanced down to Carrie's shirt. she read it quickly and then looked back up at Carrie. she smiled at Carrie with a painfully obvious forced smile.

"Well. You save you the walk. I saw the car. Called Vince and then brought the cookies." Carrie said as she turned and dug around in her bag. SHe pulled out a ziplock bag and then handed them to Lilly. "But I have to get to my Art History glass." She said as she pulled the bag back up her shoulder and then walked the rest of the way around the car and cupped both sides of Jasmine's face. "Never forget." She whispered softly. She clunked her head softly agianst Jasmine's and then smiled as she pulled back. "Great meeting you Lil!" She called as she ran off. caught up with a few other friend, jumped on a guys back, called out something then they all disapeared.

"Sorry." Jasmine said. She walked around to the trunk of her car and then jumped up onto of it. She was waiting on Vince. "Carrie is very....everywhere at once." She said. "And the shirt. I'm sure she didnt' mean it." She said. "She just has odd taste in...everything." She said and looked to her. "Just. She's a good friend. And she's helped me a lot while you were gone. With the late nights, the crying and everything." She said. "Vince is way more mellowed out." She said. "Promise."

Lillian followed her and jumped up beside her. she snickered softly. "she seems very nice. And don't worry about me so much. Especially when it comes to t-shirt slogans." she told her, punching her softly on the arm.

Jasmine nudged her and then grinned. "That." She said pointing to a tall, brown haired boy that was walking their way. "That is Vince." She said and grinned. As she watched him get closer she slipped from the trunk and then laughed as he picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Hey." She said and then smiled as she pulled her shirt back down. "Vince my little sister Lillian." She said. "Lilly this is my boyfriend. Vince." She said, leaning agianst him.

Vince smiled. He was in regualar blue jeans, a Pink Floyd grey shirt and a mustang ball cap. He pulled the hat around and smiled. "Oh Jasmine. You never said your sister was pretty." He said and then smiled at her and held his hand out. "Hi. It's great to finally met you." He said as he grinned softly as he heared Jasmine jump back up to sit on the trunk.

Lillian quickly to a liking to him. she felt like he and her sister looked really nice together. she took his hand and shook it. "Its nice to meet you as well. And Jazz never told me you were so charming!" she said playfully. "well, she might have during that rant she gave me about how you were so adorable and the greatest kisser." she joked. she was pleased with how socialable she was being.

"Lillian!" Jasmine squeed and then jumped as she blushed. "I-I never said that. I mean." She blushed even deeper. "Oh I'd dug a hole and you just buried me into it." She said softly.

Vince smiled and then let her hand go. He then stepped inbetween his girlfriend legs and leaned agianst her softly, "Well. She's a great girl." He said and smiled nodded. "And Has helped me a lot." He added. "But do you notice when she get up and the toothpaste is on the counter and not in the cup on the sink. She freaks out. Everyhting has to be in it's place." He mocked and then smiled at his girl as he rubbed a spot she smacked softly. "But relaly. Lilly you look just like your sister. Beautiful in every light." He said.

Lillian blushed and smiled. "Thank you." she said softly. Her eyes slowly fell towards the ground. she suddenly got this pang of guilt. Vince and Jazz seemed so happy together. she was tearing them apart because of this move. Lillian began to feel sick to her stomach. she placed her hand over her stomach and winced.

"Lilly?" Jasmine said as she got worried and reached out and touched her arms softly. 'Are. Are you okay? You look kinda sick?" She asked reached up and moving her hair from her face. "You ready to go home?" She asked.

"Aww." Vince said. "I just got to met you." He said. "But it's okay. I know the strains of moving." He said. "Call me later." he said as he reached up and smiled as he stroked her cheek. "I'll talk to you later. Hope you feel better the Lilly." He said and smiled at her. "Well I have English anyway." he grinnde then patted Lilly's knee, smiled to his girlfriend and then pulled his bag over his head and then started to walk off. He turned back and waved then walked over and disapeared behind the same corner that Carrie disapeared behind.

Jasmine sighed and then waved and blew him a kiss as he looked back. She slipped fromt he trunk. "Okay Sis." She said. "Pizza. Movie. Up for it still?" She asked with a smile. Pretending that him walking away wasn't killing her a little on the inside. She swollowed and then contuine to smile at her sister.

Lillian sighed. "He didn't have to leave. I am sorry." she said, sullen. she slid off the trunk as well. "..Yeah, lets just get home I guess." she said, disappointed in herself. she didn't understand why her moods were swinging so badly. she opened the car door and got in.

"Like he said. He had a class to get to anyway." Jasmine said as she looked at the corner then got in and sighed. "You okay though? I'm still worried about you. You looked like you were about to hurl." She said as she pulled her seatbelt on and then started the car. "Pizza might not be the best choice. If your not feeling well." She added and looked to her.

Lillian placed her hand over her stomach again. "...I think I am just going to go to bed. I think I just need rest." she said, sounding more cold than she had wanted to. "The move is going to be quite rigorous anyway."

"Oh. Okay." Jasmine said as she then pulled out and then headed home. It was a long quiet drive back home. But Sure enogh. Fifteen minuets later she pulled into the driveway. She turned the car off and then let her seatbelt go then got out. It was sprinkling agian. She sighed then headed for the house. She'd watch a movie alone then.

Lillian undid her seatbelt as well and headed into the house. she headed straight for her room, keeping her head down.

"Oh!" Beatrice said. "Back so soon?" she asked Jasmine. "How did it go?" she asked her, looking around to see where Lillian went.

"Lilly went to her room. Jasmine said as she kicked her shoes off, then her jacket. SHe then sighed, hung her keys up and then sighed as she headed for the livingroom. She slumped onto the couch and then sighed. "She did well with Carrie and Vince." She said. But after meeting Vince she looked like like she got sick. I donno." She said."But I'm going to go watch a movie." She said then started to get up. "Unless there was something you wanted me to hual in my car?" She asked.

Beatrice looked at Jasmine with concern for a moment before she sighed. "No, no, its quite alright. Our moving van is big enough to carry the majority of the whole house." she said, in a light voice.

Lillian closed and locked her door. You couldn't even handle this one evening with your own sister! she thought, angrily. she collapsed on her bed and closed her eyes, trying to drift off to sleep.

Jasmine nodded then got up and ran up stairs. She went looking through a few boxes and found it. "There you are." She grinned and pulled her DVD out. Anna and the King. She then pulled back and exited her room. Walking past her sister's room. "Sleep well." She whispered and then walked down the sairs, hugging her movie. Once the movie was in and she was settled on the couch. She hit play and waited for it. It was one of her favorite movies.
