the lord nods."we'll be there...."

"Good. Then I shall be going now. Thank you for your times." Sesshoumaru says and he turns to go.

The lord nods before going back to his breakfast.

Sesshoumaru takes off to his next destination.

The lord of the North was outside training with his son....

Sesshoumaru entered the training courts o the lord of the North. "Lord. I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have come to invite you to a joyous occasion."

"Lord sesshomaru.I didnt know you knew the meaning of joyous."the lord smiles taking a break.

Sesshoumaru smirks. "Ah you caught me. The speech was prepared. So do you want to come to my half sister's wedding?"

The lord laughs."I'd never come to a half breeds wedding.why dont you get married and I'll come."

"My dear friend. Would I have invited you if there wasn't an alterior motive?" Sesshoumaru says with a small grin.

The lord smiles."really?and what is that?"

"You'll have to come to find out, but I assure you that it'll be worth it."

"coming to a halfbreeds wedding?this better be good sesshomaru."

"I assure you that it will be. Besides, doesn't your son need a mate? The Lord of the East has already said he would come."

"really?fine we'll be there..."

"Good. I'll see you there. I have ot be going. I still have to visit the lord of the south." Sesshoumaru says and turns to go.

the lord nods going back to his training.

Sesshoumaru rushes off to his nect stop.

The lord of the south was.....in bed with his mate.

Sesshoumaru knocks on the door to the Lord's mansion.

A servant opens the door,"m'lord?"

"May I please see the master of these lands?" Sesshoumaru asks.

The sevant smiles getting his lord coming back."Lord seshsomaru what are you doing here?"

"I am here to extend you an invitation. I hope I haven't inconvienced you in any way." Sesshoumaru says calmly. He didn't knwo why but he had never really liked the lord of the south all that much and knowing that he was Kirara's father didn't help much.

the lord smiles."an invitation to what?"

"My half sister's wedding. The lords of the east and north have already agreed to come. I hope you can join us and their families." Sesshoumaru says.

the lord raises an eyebrow."she's a half demon,why's it that all the lords are showing up?"

"I will be annoucing a few things concerning this year's season. I thought this would would be goood time to present all the females and of course I need all the lords there for my annoucements." Sesshoumaru explains patiently.

The lord stares at him."such as?"

"You're just going to have to wait and see just like everybody else. So shall I be expecting you?"

the lord growls."fine..."

"Good. Now I will be letting you get back to whatever it was you were doing." Sesshoumaru says crsiply and turns to go.

the lord mockingly bows before sitting back down.

Sesshoumaru sees him out of the corner of his eye, but leaves anyways. He knew that there were going to be many fights with this man in the years to come and he didn't want to start one now. He bgan to head home.

Alexiel smiles sitting up looking at miroku."so...did you come to help or just to bring my son to me?"

Miroku grins."Like I'd want to help with a wedding.Riku wanted you."

"Aw. Come and help. Even Sesshoumaru's doing his part." Kirara says.

miroku sighs."okok what do you want me to do?"

"I dunno. Ask your bride." Kirara says and shrugs.

miroku looks a little surprised at this way of describing alexiel."ok...what do you want me to do?"

alexiel smiles passing riku back to him."babysit."

"Good call." Kirara says and giggles.

Alexiel laughs."yea...so where is my brother?he should be back by now...probably..."

"Right here." Sesshoumaru says and he vaults over the fence and takes his spot under neath the tree again. "They all said yes."

"That's good then." Kirara says not even bothering to sit up.

Alexiel smiles."good...."

"I was thinking. What about a tournament? You know the demons could fight against each other to see who's the best." Kirara muses aloud.

"Sounds good to me." Sesshoumaru says engrossed in his work again.

"for what?"Alexiel looks genuinely confused.

"For honor and pride." Kirara says.

"And to show the pretty single females what they're made of. Even females need a chance to strentch their legs as well." Sesshoumaru adds.

"oh...."alexie lshrugs laying down,pulling riku down with her,who had fallen asleep,and miroku lays down next to her.

"So what do you think?" Kirara asks.

"May I reiterate that I like it?" Sesshoumaru says and returns to his work.

alexiel smiles."i dont care...fight at my wedding all you want."

"All right!" Kirara says and sits up quickly.

"What makes you think that you're going to get to fight?" Sesshoumaru asks and raises an eybrow, never looking up from what he was writing.

"beacause I said she was."Miroku says seriously.

Sesshoumaru sighs. "I was referring to Kirara."

"Cause I I said so!" Kirara anwers.

Alexiel sitsup."both of you shut up.go make out or something just shut up....and enjoy the weather."

"You make life no fun." Sesshoumaru says.

"It is nice weater today, not that it's ever going to rain." Kirara says.

Alexiel laughs."I make life very fun...according to miroku anyways..."

"That's just Miroku." Sesshoumaru says calmly and growls down at his paper.

"He has a point for once." Kirara admits and flops back down on her back.

Alexiel smiles."well..."She smiles curling back up with miroku."then kirara why dont you go make sesshy's world happier?"

"Cause he's working." Kirara says simply.

Sesshoumaru stabs the paper with his brush and scribbles something really fast.

":"youcould always make him quit."

"he looks like he's ready to take off the head's of anyone that touches him..." Kirar says.

"damn it all!" Sesshoumaru says and growls again.

alexiel giggles,before crawling over,and sitting on her heels,pokes sesshomaru in the head.

he bites at her fingers and goes back to studying his papers.

Kirara rolls her eyes.

Alexiel laughs reading the papers upside down.

"Do you mind? I only came out here because you guys wanted me to. I need to finish this." Sesshoumaru says.

"Leave him alone, Alexiel. It could be something important." Kirara says.

alexiel pouts plopping down inf ront of sesshomaru not moving.

Sesshoumaru resumes his writing.

"Don't pout. What do I look like to you? A mushroom?" Kirara asks sitting up again.

Alexiel looks at her."well...yea actually."she teases.

"Oh gee. I see how much I"m loved." Kirara says with a smile on her face that betrays her words.

"you are..."alexiel giggles."by him."she jerks her thumb at sesshomaru

"Aw gee. And I thought you loved me. Now I'm hurt." Kirara says in a mock hurt voice.

"okok I love you kirara!"Alexiel yells laughing throwing her arms around kirara.

"Yay!" Kirara says and hugs her back.

Alexiel laughs,rolling away,and right into sesshomaru.She scrambles away looking sorry and kinda scared.

Sesshoumaru doesn't move. He stares down at the paper. "I'VE GOT IT!" He yells and runs off.

"Well that was odd." Kirara says and watches him go.

Alexiel and miroku look after him confused."what the hell?"

"Does he normally do that?" Kirara asks as she sits up again.

Alexiel looks somewhere between scared and concerned."no..."

"Just as long as he doesn't go and throw himself over a cliff, I think he'll be fine." Kirara says, but looks a bit worried.

"yea..."alexiel says buiting her lip,rocking back and forth on her heels.

"Everyone needs a little mental breakdown in their lives. He'll be fine." Kirara says to reassure Alexiel.

Alexiel collapses back reassure."ok!"

"So what are you going to do abotu Riku during the service. He might disturb things and you can't really carry him the whole time." Kirara asks.

"that's true...maybe sesshy can hold him!"alexiel laughs watching riku play with a flower.

"Could you just see Sesshoumaru holding Riku in forn tof all those big, bad lords!" Kirara says rolling on her stomach in laughter.

Alexiel and miroku laughs."hey it'll give him practice for his own kids."alexiel collaspes into a fit of giggles.

Kirara's lauighs reduce to giggles and she turns bright red.

Alexiel stops sitting up and looking at her."what is it?"

"Nothing." Kirara says trying to hide her blush.

Alexiel smiles."what picturing little kirara and sesshomaru kids running around?"she tries not to giggle.

"Yes." Kirara mutters.

"now that's cute!"alexiel laughs.

"I dunno." Kirara says laying her stomach and resting her chin on her arms.

"why not?"

"I just don't think I want kids yet, that's all." Kirara says.

"i highly doubt he does either.Hell until ten months ago I didnt want one."

"It;s going to have to happen eventually though, but I just don't want to mess up as bad as my parents did. I would hate it if they grew up to hate me."

"that would suck.and it scares me to death."alexiel sighs."more then him turning out to be a pervert like his dad."

"Oh I think I could deal with a pervert. I guess me groing up to hate my own parents has permently got me thinking that I'm going to end up doing the same thing to my own."

"yea...well I dont remember mine that well...so it doesnt bother me,expect if sesshomaru and inuyasha say something about them,..."

"That's another thing. I'm scared that I'll not be able to protect them or something. What would happen if something happened to me and they had no one to turn to? It's all so confusing."

"yea...but that's why they'd have a father,aunt and uncle who'd go to hell and back to make sure they're ok..."

"Yeah. I don't know what I was thinking."

Alexiel laughs."you werent"

Kirara giggles "I think I was actually thinking a bit too much."

Meanwhile
Onyx was still lying net to InuYasha, running her hands through his hair.

"Ifeel like a girl."inuyasha states smiling.

Alexiellaughs."yea probably.First mate then worry about the kids."

"Alexiel!" Kirara say and smacks her lightly on the arm while blushing.

aleixle laughs."what'd I do?"

"Oh never mind!" Kirara says giggling.

"ok!"alexiel laughs rolling and laying her head in miroku's lap."so what where we talking about...until we got on thetopic of mating...?"

"Sesshoumaru holding Riku during the wedding." Kirara says going off into fresh gales of laughter

"oh yea..."alexiel collaspes into giggles picturing this.

"He's not going to do it. I hope you have a back up plan" Kirara warns.

"i do have another brother...he might do it."

"That's also pretty funny." Kirara says giggling. "But not entirely impossible."

"he'd probably do it..;"alexiel smiles mischeviously.

"More likely than not." Kirara admits.

"yea..."alexeil turns on her side getting confrontable as miroku plays with her hair/.

"Where is he anyways. I havent' seen him all day. Onyx either." Kirara asks absentmindly

Back in bed
Onyx smiled at InuYasha's little comment and kissed his cheek.

Inuyasha laughs."i do!usually it's the girl having their hair played with!"

"probably with onyx."

Onyx smiled and moved her chest closer towards InuYasha's back, her breasts squishing against him.

Inuyasha jumps looking at her.

"What?" She asked.

"nothing..."Inuyasha smiles.

Kirara shrugs. "Probably."

Onyx shrugged and snuggled into him again.

Inuyasha smiles."wanna go see what everyone's doing...?"

"yea they probably are..."alexiel looks saround a little worried."he's been gone awhile./..."

"He's a big boy. He can take care of himself." Kirara says.

"but-but he was acting so weird...."

"Fine. you go look for him then." Kirara says and closes her eyes, intent on getting a small cat nap.

"I will then!"alexiel yells getting up running in the direction sesshomaru had gone.

~Meanwhile~
"I'm so horrible at stuff like this." Sesshoumaru says to himself with a small growl. "I thought it sounded good, but now it's like crap to me."

"SESSHOMARU!"alexiel yells after not finding him.

Sesshoumaru sighs before yelling out "I'm over here!"

Alexiel stops a few feet from him,sorry that she interupted.

"Oh, just sit down." Sesshoumaru says and waves at her to sit.

Alexiel lays down looking at him."why'd you run off?"

"I thought I had the answer to my little delima so I ran off to where Kirara couldn't see it. It wasn't until I got here that I realized what I thought sounded so cool ,was really pretty bad." Sesshoumaru explains.

"well what was it?maybe I can help..."alexiel looks like a little kid hoping they could help an older person.

A light blush creeps across Sesshoumaru's face. "I don't think you can help me. I wanted this to be something that I did myself."

"fine have it your way."alexiel pouts turning away.

"Um..." sesshoumaru swallows. "Do you think Kirara likes....er....poetry?"

"poetry?....I guess...most girls do..."she surpresses a giggle.

"Stop laughing at me! I don't knwo what to do!" sesshoumaru says blushing bright red.

"okok!I'm done...so do you want help?"alexiel sighs moving and sitting beside him.

'I don't even know how to start. You're a girl. You know what she might want. Help me!" Sesshoumaru asks.

"ok...ummm...miroku once wrote a poem about how pretty I was,and I liked it,....umm.,..."alexiel concerates thinking.

"I know you've talked to her. Has she dropped any hints about what she might like? Anything at all?" Sesshoumaru asks.

"I dont know!"alexiel cries unable to think of anything.

"it;s ok then. I'll think of something." Sesshoumaru says leaning back against a nearby rock.

Alexiel looks sad."sorry."

"Don't worry. It's not your fault." Sesshoumaru smiles.

"ok..."

"Hmmmm. Now I wish I had payed more attention when Father had tols me about these things."

Onyx smiled at InuYasha.
"Sure, why not?"

"ok..."inuyasha crawls outta bed streching.

alexiel sighs,she didnt remember her parentsand were like.

"Don't worry, sis. I'm sure he would have been very proud of you. You got me to liek you didn't you? And I'm one of the most stubborn demons in the world." Sesshoumaru says and pats her on the back.

"uh-uh."alexiel sighs pulling her knees up to her chest.

"You managed to find friends, a mate, and you helped unite this little family, Alexiel. If he wouldn't be proud of you then I'm cat food."

alexxiel giggles at this resting her cheek on her knee."I wish...I could remember them,..."

"I think I have something that you might like. He gave this to me some time before he died and told me to give it to you whenever I saw fit." Sesshoumaru hands over a small locket. "Pictures and pieces of their hair. It's your parents, Alexiel."

Alexiel grips it in her hand before throwing her arms around him crying."thank you!"

"Don't thank me. I almost threw it into the river." Sesshoumaru says and then hugs her back. "Now you can say that you did know them. You own a huge part of them."

"well...thanks anyway.now I know someone you and inuyasha got to...and never had the chance to..."she rubs her cheek on his shoulder getting rid of her tears.

"Alexiel. Inuyasha never knew our father either. And I feel bad everyday that I look at you both and know that I got a chance you never did. Please don't cry. When you cry it makes it hurt twice as much." Sesshoumaru admits.

Alexiel nods still hiding her face in his shoulder,trying to stop the tears.

"We've both made our mistakes in life. Mine, a little bigger than yours, but we've moved on. You need to move on. Stay strong for you and your mate. Not to mention your child. I know you can do it." Sesshoumaru says supportivly.

Alexiel laughs a little sitting up,face glistening in tears."it still sounds weird hearing someone talking about a kid of my own...."

"He's a keeper that's for sure." Sesshoumaru says and grins.

"god knows I c ouldnt live without them both...it's just weird hearing the words my and mate in the same sentence."

"You'd better get used to it, girl. I don't think you could have picked anyone better. You've continued our line in the best way possible. I must admit that I am proud to say that I have Riku for a nephew."

Alexiel laughs."wow...never thought'd I hear you be proud to have a mostly human kid for a nephew."
