Personality: If Sileas was a colour she would most definitely be grey. She is a painfully shy girl, and is very self conscious and rather avoidant of others for fear of being rejected. However, she is also far too proud to admit all this, and thus claims she has no friends because she doesn’t want them; she also suffers from quite a superiority complex and won't allow herself to be seen as weak, hence, not admitting her faults to anyone, even herself. She can come off as a bit imposing and resentful to people, and if you talk to her she may act coldly and ignore you simply because she can’t think of anything to say and gets embarrassed. These habits are why she is often misjudged as being conceited and rather rude. While Sileas is quite a difficult girl to see the good parts of, that’s not to say there aren’t any. Sileas may be good at hiding herself but no one can have full control over their emotions. Sometimes she slips out and says something or does something to imply there is more to her than meets the eyes. Maybe, behind that rough and mean exterior is a gentle and compassionate heart of gold, who knows? Maybe someone should take the time to find out.

Appearance: Sileas is not the classic ‘pretty’ or ‘beautiful’ girl, she is not stunning and people do not stop to stare in awe when she passes, she is very average in her eyes sometimes even hideous she thinks, but this isn’t true. She has a certain charm to her, not natural blue eyes, perfect skin, perfect shaped face at all, she is very unique and interesting to look at, she is the type of person that is considered attractive only by certain people. Sileas is a rather tall and skinny girl, she stands at around 5’6ft to 5’7ft and has fairly long angular thin arms and legs, she is very pencil shaped in the fact she lacks curves, her hips are narrow and hence her waist not defined, she could be considered to have a boyish physique. She has charcoal black straight hair that falls just past her shoulders, it is choppy and layered with small bits flicking in to frame her face, she has a slight fringe at the front since her hair is side parted, it flicks across to the side in an unruly fashion. Her hair is either let down or, when she is working, tied up in a high pony with the strands at the front flicking down and framing her face as well. Her face is very sharp featured as well, she has a pointed ski slope noise and a pointed chin, her eyes are narrow and coloured a light foggy grey. Her skin is chalky white, very pale but not strange considering she comes from England, the queen of bad cloudy weather. Sileas’s attire more than often consist of clothes considered very tomboyish, baggy T-shirts that she will no doubt layer over longer sleeved ones and then trousers varying from jeans to thinner material, never skirts of dresses. She will also more than often wear darker or dimmer colours like blacks, greys, kaki greens and subtle reds or blues, bright colours really don’t fit her since she just doesn’t think she’ll suit girlie clothes. Her favourite outfit is a black short sleeved top and a pair of creamy grey coloured ¾ length trousers, she wears rather strange patterned converses on her feet and sometimes black Doc Martins.

Any special qualities? Her pale skin and pale eyes rather contrast with her black hair giving her a very spooky appearance, if you notice her. Her voice is also rather strange since it somehow doesn’t suit the first impression you get of her, her expression is usually very serious and rather angry while her voice is quite fair and high-pitched.

Wish: She wished for ‘Someone real to be with, a true friend’.

History: Sileas is a born and breed English girl, she lived with just her father from a young age since her mother packed her bags and left only a few months after she was born. She never really knew her and never really cared to know, anyone who would leave a few month old baby obviously doesn’t want to have kids. She has a very strange relationship with her father, they are like two peas in a pod and almost exactly alike in personality hence the reason they sometimes clash horns with one another. Being brought up with just a father also explains the lack of girlie-ness about her, she never had a mothers influence and thus never a girlie touch added to her. Her father is a doctor and works a lot leaving Sileas pretty much alone, she doesn’t really mind this but sometimes wishes he was around more. This idea was torn to shreds when he announced he was going off to Iraq to try and aid some of those wounded in the on going war, Sileas was furious and is still pretty angry about this, she is a rather ignorant girl so you can’t really expect her to think of the people he’d be helping for a while. With her father gone Sileas was sent to live with her grandparents in Italy, people she hadn’t seen in about 9 years, needless to say the first few months were a little weird but as the sixth month came and Sileas celebrated her 17th birthday she felt herself become accustomed to Italy’s way of life. She still hasn’t made any friend however and while she was taught Italian when she was little it is still rusty and she often mispronounces things, her English accent sometimes making it hard for her to say things properly.

Other: Her last name is a pun on the word ‘poltergeist’ meaning ‘noisy ghost’, her middle name is also a pun to this since the name Jennifer means ‘White phantom’. Her name is a reference and link to her ghost like nature and appearance, especially since she is pale and feels invisible, like a ghost. She is oddly atheletic and enjoys playing sports, especially football, which she is amazing at.
