2005-05-17 [Sunrose]: Hmm okay, well how can you really explain personal esthetics....? Either I like a piece enough or I don't. I don't think they show much similarities amongst each other. Or maybe you could point some out to me hehe... . And also I'm not sure you should call it '[Sunrose] quality art' (did you spell it aRT on purpose btw?). I am not an artist and am the last one who should judge a piece on whether it should be considered art or not. I look at a piece and see if I personally like it or not. Not thinking of artistical terms like: 'how is the shading?', 'how is the composition?' and all that as I know very little of it. I look at it like a layman and just say: 'I like that piece'. And add a note

2005-05-20 [Charybdis]: It's from a fantasy series I've read, the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan, so I was interested ^^ Seanchan is a kingdom with imperialistic tendencies - well, more than tendencies :p They are descended from an army that went overseas at the end of a war a few thousand years ago, and they've come back to the land where the books take place. And they want to take it over, lol.

2005-05-22 [cobi]: the Seanchan are as described a nation with inperial ambitions to take over the world. they are a "take off" of the Cina's imperial amitions a few ceturies back put to good use by robbert jordan in the "wheel of time" seeries. but sunroes, i too like the phoenix the best. though there are eight more entries waiting for moderator certification.

2005-06-26 [Sunrose]: I just come across them. Artists often also know artists and artists also often enter contests: you can look through contests and see if you like someone's style. Then you go to the house and see if they have more nice pieces or if they have an elfwoodurl you can scroll through...etc :)
