Ascriot watched her new family with amusement and something akin to pride as she leaned against Astrid's side.Jenna turned to Ascriot then smiled evily and plucked a hair out of her head Giggling "DNA"
Ascriot's eyes went wide. "No! Please Jenna! No more clones!" Ascriot knew her plea was useless. "What are you going to do with this one...?"
"I was thinking about altering it and making you prettier stronger and better at forign languages.
Ascriot glared at Jenna. "Prettier? Stronger? Better at foreign languages?!?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE?!? A MONSTER?"
Jenna smiles then started to sing "popular... youre gunna be popular. I'll give you the proper ploys when you talk to boys little ways to flirt and flounce."
Ascriot covered her ears. "NO! NOT THAT SONG AGAIN!"
"when i see these ugly creatures with all these ugly features i remind them with a clone we have to think of celebrated heads of state or expessialy awesome dictators did they have brains or knowlage dont me laugh... they were clones" Jenna nods happily at he quick fix of the song.
Bekah floated back down to the floor,
what do you mean 'clones'? bekah asked, confused by the new strange girl.
Ascriot growled. "I'll be back later, I've got to go fix something upstairs."
Bekah looked at Ascriot, to Jenna, to 13, back to Ascriot. "What the heck?!?!" she cried confused by everyones sudden mood swings.Astrid shimmers to his room.
Bekah confused, noticed she wasnt getting any answers, so instead she turned and vanished into a random room. Surprised was she when she figured out it was Astrids. "Oh, my..sorry." she babbled, turning to leave...
Astrid shimmers in front of her.
You are welcome here. he said to her
"Oh, well, maybe i should leave, you know Ascriot.." she started, feeling his anger rise within. "Or I can stay." Bekah said swifty walking over to the bed and sitting down.
Astrid walks over to the window and sits on its sill.
Would you mind telling me what its like to be human...it's been so long I cannot remember. he said gazing at the stars.
Bekah thought for a minute. "imagion having no powers and being very fragial and hopeless.." she said with a pause. "..Imagion everything you love about running and feeling the shadows growing since the sun is fading. Think of that feeling, then imagion all of it gone. For a simple jog would leave you breathless, tired, and in pain. If you were human." She continued, watching his expressionless face being bathed in the moon's light. Watching how his skin still shimmered, but not as bright as it would in the sun. She frowned, remembering the pain of humanility. And somehow, she missed the need to breathe, and the soft rythem of her heartbeat... "And then," Bekah's musical voice weaved in and out of melody, like a soft violin. "Theres the times where you could sit back.." she paused as she layed back into his bed, "..and watch the clouds droop by,*she looked up at the celing* in the clear sunlight, Without shinning yourself. And without the nagging thirst of blood. To be with humans once again. To laugh, without sounding like a whimchim, and to sing without sounding like an angel." She sighed. Even
that sounded glorious. With a lould growl bekah sat up immediently. "UGH! Why?!" she suddenly exploded. This sudden mood swing, from the soft melody of a violen, to an angry cheatah startled Astrid, but his eyes only widened for a half second. He turned to look at her. "Why did i choose this?" Bekah asked, twirling around like a model. "I mean i love it, i do.. but i miss my school friends. I wonder if they even miss me..." her temper dropped again, her voice now like an angel, like cry of saddness. Bekah swiftly sat back on Astrid's bed. A single tear roled down her porcelin skin, she quickly swatted it away, hoping he wouldnt notice...
The monster cared nothing of their conversation for the lack of its understanding.
..Humans to it wher like every other creature...Instead the monster wanderd out the main door and around the side of the lighthouse in search of a bed of flowers...
Bekah stood up, "Im sorry." she apologised to Astrid then vanished into thin air, she went where nobody would think to look. As bekah sat in the bed of flowers, watching how the light wind touched each bud, making it sway. She layed back, letting the light of the full moon wash over her as she twisted her hand in the dim light, her flesh still shimmered as it did in the sun, yet not like diamonds, more like foil or something. It was still pretty. Bekah thought she must of looked like a ghost or something. How pale she looked. Yet how beautiful. There was a stream nearby, in so she wanted to practice her new power, water bending. Bekah sat up, and gracefully flicked her wrist, the water in the stream sat upright out of the bank. Bekah motioned the water to come forward with one fingure. It obeyed. Delighted, Bekah used one hand to make a large flat surface made of water, she sat back into the flowers, the waters rippled by the sudden movement. For what bekah made was a water mirror. She looked at herself. How vain she was. She saw how the moonlight brought out the green in her eyes. And how lovely her bright red hair intenced since she was turned into a vampire. Her ringlets of curl lay skattered in the feild of what seemed like lillys. Suddenly there was a sound nearby. Startled, Bekah released the water back into the bank and sat very still.
The monster notice it wasnt alone outside the house and snuck lower then all four...It weaved its way thru some small bushes carefull not to make a sound...The bright moon nearly gave away its dark cover as it turnd the corner and spotted a figure in the distance...It noticed the figue was hidden still so the monster refused to move...With a pationd craw it snuck around to the opposit side wondering what threatfull creatures prowled this close to the lighthouse...The monster made sure to keep its distance and to never let its sight stray from the figure near the stream...As the monster closed the distance between them it began to move with more speed...Within a short moment it was directly behind the figure on two leggs ,and one long arm about to swing down...
In a short moment 13 appered behind Bekah, as he prepared to hit her, she turned, surprised "WAIT! 13!!" she exclaimed. Forgetting she was a vampire for half a second. Suddenly as 13 took his swing there was a flash and bekah vanished with a cry of sudden surprise. Bekah, stunned, looked up to see a beautiful young male, with long brown hair and the eyes to match. He smiled, showing fangs. Who are you? she asked.
The strange male looked down at the red haired girl in his arms. "What, no Thank you?" he sighed and set her on the floor. "You do know there was a vicious monster about to kill you, dont you?"
Bekah shrugged i could of tooken care of it. Besides i know that monster. she mused and smoothed her mini skirt. Now, who are you? she asked again.
The male frowened and looked up to see the monster looking arond for the mysterious red haired girl. " If that monster knows you, why was he tring to kill you?" he asked. She shruged and asked her oh so famous question again. The boy sighed. "Matt. Who are you?" He asked.
Bekah, Where did you come from? Bekah asked, curious on how close he resimbled someone she missed.
Matt shrugged. "The same place you did." he replied and suddenly dissapered.
Stunned again, bekah looked out from where she was. She noticed she was in a tree and Matt was running at top speed towards 13. "Matt! Wait!" She called, running after him.
The monster readyed its claws as it leand forward...
Ascriot phased down and stood in front of 13. "Not in teh house... take it outside."
"Ascriot" Jenna sighed "this was just getting interresting"
Ascriot growled. "Not in MY house you dont. i jsut cleaned this place!"
Bekah phased next to Ascriot "Besides," she turned to the one called Matt. "You dont need to fight. Especially on OUR land." she mused.
Matt looked at Bekah to the girl bekah was standing next to. "Um, excuse me?" He said to Ascriot, "If you havent noticed, we ARE outside. Unless your house has a stream, feild of flowers, grass, and trees everywhere then i supose we Are outside. Now please, let me continue.." He said smart-assly, crossing his arms and swooping his hair out of his eyes.
Ascriot walked up to him, then backhanded him. "I wont be talked to like that by an insolent Pup.!" she spat.
Matt's eyes bulged. "Ow!" He rubbed the back of his head. "How DARE you..?" he asked, looking down at her, from his massive height. Suddenly Matt turned and spat at her. "Be glad youre a woman..." he warned, glaring at Ascriot behind his brown bangs.
Ascriot grinned. "I don't care that I'm a woman...AllI care about is getting your sorry ass off of MY property!"
Matt sighed and straightened up. "Ah, of course, what was i Thinking? Youre NOT a woman, youre a helpless little boy. Those whom i CAN fight." He scowled, Preparing for a fight. "If you want me gone, fine. Fight me for land." He smirked, brushing his hair from his eyes once more.
"If you're going to fight, fight me" Warned Bekah. Narrowing her eyes and crouching like a cheatah.
Matt held back for a moment, then crouched along with her, but more like a mountain lion. "Bring. it. on." He smirked. But even crouching, he still towered over everyone..besides 13.
"Ascriot such language my dear." Astrid says waving his finger back and forth walking toward her. "Now do we have a problem here..."
The monster understood nothing of the bikering back and forth and decided to act on its own...With one clean swipe it riped open the clothes of the new strangers back...
"Yes, there is a problem... " and she quickly explained the situation. "You of all people know I can not stand fighting... So, I have to fight to get them to stop..." She looked up at him, crouching as well, like a powerful dragon who has just been awakened. "Care to fight with me, my mate?" She asked.
With a clean swipe the monster ripped Matt's t-shirt off, revealing his muscles. His skin shown in the moonlight. He smiled and flexed his wound from where the monster's claws scratched him. "Ah, that was rude.." he sighed as blood trinkled down his spine. "Ah, oh well. Whom shall fight me?" He asked, looking around. Then he snickered and added. "Watch out, I bite."
Bekah rolled her eyes. "I guess we all will." She said.
Matt smirked. "Isn't that a bit unfair?" he asked. Looking around the vailey at all the unfriendly faces.
Ascriot remained crouched, ignoring them, tapping into her magic.
"Alright, who wants to be first?" He asked. No comment. "Fine" he sniffed. "I will choose." He replied skanning the area. "You." He said, pointing to Ascriot. A slim smile spread across his lips.
Ascriot's eyes remained clsoed.
Matt's smile vanished as he noticed he was being ignored. "Hey! You..whats your face?" He called, waving his arms. "Hey! Don't ignore me!!" He shouted, getting annoyed at her. With his annoyance he crouched and then in a heartbeat he springed forward, knocking into her. "HEY!" he yelled.
Ascriot's eyes flew open, adn they glowed white. She looked at him and snarled, gripping his neck in one hand and flying upwards and in the other, a ball of white fire formed.
Surprised, a pleased smile spread across his lips. "Here we go." He chuckeled. Then vanished, out of her grip reappering behind her instantly. "Boo." he whispered in her ear right before smashing her into the hard earth floor with a roaring BOOM! He looked down at her, the smile still on his face. Then he controlled the vines on a tree to come and tangle her. They grabbed around her neck, suffocating her. Suddenly the sky grew dark and storm clouds appered. Lightning flashed. Then suddenly with a ZAP he sent down a bolt. Barely missing the trapped girl he tangeled in his vines. "Scared yet?" He asked as he controlled the lightning.
Ascriot didn't say aword, but merely smiled as she figured out her oponent. She slowly melted into teh earth with an eerie laugh that sounded more like it bleonged to several people. She phased out of the area and controled the ari around him into a tight bubble, cutting off his oxygen no matter how hard he struggled. She changed the weather back, using the crystals in the ground to bind him tightly as teh oxygen continued to seep from his lungs. As a final blow, she melted pure silver from the ground and placed it as a tight collar about his neck.
Astrid smiled running his tongue over his teeth as he watched the fight. "I see you haven't lost your touch my dear." he said to his love telepathically.
Ascriot phased down to him, her eyes still glowing and smiled. It looked eerie and her voice sounded like several voices wehere talking in her mind. "Thank you."
Astrid Laces his fingers with his engulfing the white flame from her hand. "I forgot how fierce you could be. Remind me not to get on your bad side anytime soon." He looks over at the poor sap that she was fighting. "Pitty...I wanted to have a little fun with him before you killed him...oh well." he said smiling.
Ascriot looked at the boy. "Oh, I'm not killing him. This is just very painful." she reached up and kissed him seductivley on the lips, wrapping her free arm around his neck. "We need to spar sometime. We haven't in a while."
Astrid's eyes glowed a bright white for a moment when she kissed him. He growled at her playfully. "Yes...I think I'll put up a better fight than this...how shall I say...weakling?, no thats too mean...courageous, I'll give em that for going up against you." he said biting his lip as he looked at her.
Ascriot's glowing eyes sparked red for a moment. "Foolish is what I would call him... and our Darling little Bekah is quite attached to him... how sad."
Astrid ponders. "Hmmm...that is a shame. Maybe you should spare him and fight me instead. I can tell your still out for blood...and you can surely come after mine. That is... if you can manage to draw it my love." he says taking off his shirt in a taunting manner smiling, fangs in all.
Ascriot traced a finger across a scar on his shoulder. "I did once, remember? The day we met...?" She grinned.
[I think we should R.P that part out before we fight. What do you think?]
[I think thats a very good idea. Now I'm excited(:]
Astrid looks down at her finger smiling "I don't think it's possible to forget that day, though it was centuries ago." he said reminicing
Ascriot put her head on his shoulder as they both slipped back to that day.
3 centuries, 4 months and 3 days ago
Ascriot perched on the edge of the rocky outcropping, her keen eyes blazing against the sun.
Astrid walks along the bottom of the rocks looking down at the sand beneath his feet. He flips his hair away from his sight. Her shadow catches his eye.
Ascriot pulled back quickly, determined to keep him away from her house. She was a new vampire, so bloodlust was strong with her.
Astrid was naturally curious to see who or whom had made the shadowy figure against the sand. He used his powers over the elements to make the rocks into a staircase heading up the cliffs. Though he remained cautious for he was still mortal.
Ascriot tried to run, but she smelled fresh blood, so she hid.
Astrid reached the top of the rocks. He was took a moment to appreciate the elegant view of the water below. His eyes glossy looking at the sun. "I know your there..." he yelled still looking at the horizon "I can feel you under me." Astrid could sense even the slightest vibrations from movement of someone through the ground.
Ascriot stepped otu of the foliage. "If someone took that the wrong way, youwould be in a heap of trouble..."
He remains with his back turned to her. "Trouble..." he says arrogantly "With whom...you? If thats the worst that can happen I think I'm somewhat safe." He sits down and let's his feet dangle from the cliff.
Ascriot walked up to him, standing so close that they were almost touching. She took a deep breath. His blood smelled so good.
Astrid moved his hair to his chest, he could feel her breath on his neck. Her muscles tightening anxiously wanting to peirce his flesh. "I know what you are..." he whispered "if it's my blood you want, you can surely have mine...that is...if you can manage to draw it." he said as his veins bulged from his neck tauntingly.
Matt let out a groan, reaching up to touch the collar around his neck. "What the--?" He moaned, just now awaking from the fight. I must of black out.. he thought, surprised and saddened by how strong his apponet is. "hey, im not through with you.." his voice was ruff and ragged from the special collar. "What is this?" he asked, dizzily sitting up.
Bekah turned to him, surprised by his awakinging. "Oh!" she sighed, relieved Ascriot didnt kill him. She floated over to the new-comer and kneeled down beside him. "Hey.." she greeted, checking out his damages. His throat was cut from the collar being too tight and the effect it gave him. Bekah frowned at that and tried to relese it..with no success. Stay still. bekah ordered Matt. She noticed he looked very uncomfertable by the orders yet obeyed anyway. Bekah moved to his back, looking at the damamge from 13. The massive claw markings were already halfway healed, they were already a light pink scars. "Good, you heal fast." She noted.
Matt let out a raspy grunt. "Hey you think you can try taking this thing off me again..?" he asked, his voice stressed.
Bekah nodded. "I supose" she said thoutfully, now peering at the tight crystal white collar around his neck. It seemed easy enough to take off, but once she touched it, it shocked her. Bekah let out a surprised cry. Then peering at it again. Maybe if i use magic..? she thought.. "Stay as still as you possiably can.." she ordered him. He did. Suddenly bekah raised both her hands, inches away from the collar. A light tingle of electric shock bounced off of the collar, she ignored it consintrating on her physic skills. Bekah sat there as consintrated as possiable. Suddenly her eyes turned a neon green and a black force shot from her hands onto the collar. Matt let out a surprised cry of pain and moments later the collar cluncked to the floor. Bekah's eyes turned back to normal and she felt slightly light headed. "Whoa.." she gasped as she checked out the damage from the collar. For where the collar had been, had burned the flesh from Matt's neck. The red puffy scaring tissue was bleeding and disgusting. Bekah felt like she was going to vomit.
Matt reached up at his neck and winced from the pain. "How bad..?" he turned to ask Bekah, but by the look on her face, he knew it was really bad. "That bitch.." he scowled standing to go look at himself in the river, yet was stopped by Bekah and a painfull sting in his leg. "OW! God.." he moaned and layed back down on the patch of grass.
Bekah looked at Matt with pitty in her eyes. Then suddenly without thinking, she took some water from the bank and formed it around her hands, then carfully placing her hands on his neck. He winced for a moment then the pain subsided and the wound turned into a huge puffy pink skar, like on his back.. "how did I..?" she asked herself.
Matt looked up at her and smiled. "Its part of controlling water, water equals healing" he noted, sitting up and patted his neck. The scar was ugly and will forever stain his neck. "A reminder.." he mumbled to himself.
"excuse me?" asked bekah, staring at the ugly scar.
Matt smirked. "A reminder to stay off this land.." he said, standing and holding out his hand for hers.
She took it and was carefully picked up by matt. "You dont have to leave.." she said, looking at the ground. "I mean, if you want to--"
Matt smiled and cut her off. "I dont think im welcomed..." he sighed. Turning away from his new 'friend'. But dont worrie, I'll visit.
he said. Walking away.
"Visit?" Bekah called after him. "No need. Stay. Its fine."
That made Matt pause, and turn. "I dont believe--" This time he was cut off by bekah.
"I think it will be fine.." she mumbled, walking up to him and grabbing his hand. Then ever so slightly she gazed up at him.
**Bekah Flashback**
A younger Bekah looked up at her older brother. A sad smile crossed his face as he looked lovingly down at her.
"Don't worrie Bekah, I will always be with you." he said trying to make her feel better.
Lil bekah looked up at her big brother. "Matt, no you wont. They're splitting us apart too! Just like Ben and Jane. You saw how it is..I know how it is. Matt im going to miss you.." she cried. Tears rolled down her face as she hugged her older brother.
Matt looked down at his sister, then at the family that adopted him. The woman looked at him through skornfull eyes. "Come Boy!" the woman ordered him.
Bekah cried "NOOO!" as Matt was dragged from her side. "MATT!!" she wailed as her older brother was being thrown into the back of a truck with 5 other boys around his age. Matt was being sent to a working farm. And bekah knew she would never see him again. He was only 9 and she 7.
**present time**
Matt shook bekah from her trance. "Bekah?" he asked, snapping his fingures in her face.
Bekah looked up at him, tears in her eyes. "Matt!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around his torso into a tight squeeze. "Matt i thought i would never see you again." she wailed, crying as she did 9 years ago. "How did this happen how did you turn into a vampire?" she asked looking up lovingly at her long lost brother.
Matt looked down at his little sister like the time he did 9 years ago. "
Thats another story.. I was wondering if you'd ever figure it out" he said, while tears streamed down his face. He hugged her. " I told you, i will always be with you. I dont lie bekah.." he said, knowing he sounded corney, yet he didnt care.. "Now, wheres my room?" he joked, smiling from under his tears..
Ascriot ran her hands over his shoulders, burying her fangs into his neck.
Bekah lead Matt to the lighthouse. Matt looked around, surprisingly nervous. "A-are you sure its okay?" He asked his little sister looking down at her smiling face.[hey its ben ^^]
Bekah smiled up at Matt, "Sure. Just keep quiet until i explain.." she said. Looking for her friends.
[Hiya Ben. Astrid, we'll continue this some other time.... perhaps parts in drweams or something. oakys??]
Ascriot slowly diminished the fire in her eyes and walked up to the lighthouse.
Astrid Followed behind her. From what he could tell the fight seemed to be over.
Ascriot took a deep breath, and walked into teh lighthouse, taking it a step at a time.
Astrid shimmered to his room to grab a shirt to cover up his only wound then shimmered back downstairs.
Ascriot glanced at Bekah and Matt sitting there, and then blink, tiredly going to make coffee in the kitchen.
Bekah and Matt both just sat there for a moment, Matt looked away, ashamed of his actions. While Bekah sat there looking everywhere but Ascriot..
"Ahemm.." Matt cleared his throat, turning attection to him. His gaze was still locked on the meadow from where they met, and his voice was still shrill from the fight.. "May..*clears throat again* May i have some clothes..please?" he asked anyone who was listening..
Make that two sets.. piped in Bekah, now looking at the sorry mess of rags that hung from her's and her brother's bodies. Now feeling ashamed herself.
The only clotehs he was wearing were his torn jeans, while her skirt was in shreds and her shirt was practicaly no more.. stupid fight.. he thought as he yanked a blanket from the chair they were sitting on to cover his sister..She gave him a gratful glance, her face red from embarassment..
Jenna walks in from the other room and looks around half gasping "my God, what happened"
"A fight." Matt informed her, streching his neck, showing off his hideuous scar. And yet, he was still as handsom as ever. "Would you mind finding us some clothes?" he asked, standing and walking over to her, bare chested, with a glorious smile. "Please?" he asked bending down to look into her eyes and flashing another glorious smile. He flexed his muscles in attempt to dazzle her.
Bekah rolled her eyes and stood herself. "oh, you.." he mumbled towards Matt, letting the blanket drop, revealing a look of a beat up hooker. Bekah then turned and teleported to a shopping center, the mall, grabbing clothes from the racks, unable to be seen from her speed, she grabbed several skirts, shirts, pants, shose and assesiroies (for men and women) then teleported back. She thrusted the teenaged boy's clothes towards Matt and then shimmered back to the living room to where she slept and changed into a cute black and white speggetti strapped dress
that swayed a little above her knees, and her knee high converse boots. She brushed her hair and put a big hot pink bow in her hair, accompanied by several hot pink, black, and verious other colored bracelets and necklaces. Her favorite was the cross shapped chocker necklace. She smiled at the joke and put in some cute stared pink earings, and applied fresh eyeliner and mascaria. Babbing eyeshadow on her eye lids. As she stood back, examining her new outfit, she decided she looked like a hot emo/goth model. Satified she turned and floated down the stairs.
As she was leaving, Matt spotted her on the stairs. "Well you look nice.." he noted. Matt was dressed in some black skinny jeans and a tight lightning yellow t-shirt, that had lightning bolts, stars and random shapes and colors. It was truly blinding, but in the good way. Ontop of the shirt, he wore a loose black and white checkered printed hoodie. And he wore white sunglasses to match. Around his neck was a cross, he smiled once he saw that his sister also sharred the joke within the crosses. Upon his feet were some black skater shoes with white checkers, that matched his hoodie. His hair was messy, in the hot bed-head way and fell over his eyes. A light smile along his lips. His scars on his neck didnt look as bad as they did a few minutes ago. He was healing fast, and the scars were only light pink, the puffiness gone. His voice was back to normal too.
Bekah smiled at the sight of her brother and decided he looked like a hot emo/skatter model. "Youre looking hot youself" she said, grinning and floating down beside him.
"Why thankyou." he smiled, looking around. "Where is everyone by the way?" he asked.
Bekah shrugged and looked too. hello? she called out to anyone that might be near.
Eve sat by herself, arms crossed, serious expression on her face.
Matt noticed her and slipped off his sunglasses, smiling at her. "Well, well who do we have here?" he asked, slowly approching Eve. "Well arent you the pretty one of the bunch?" he soothed, noticing how pissed she was smiling, showing off his fangs. "You look good enough to, well eat." he grinned at her, stoppig several feet away.
"I'd ask you to watch your tongue kid, but I doubt you'd listen". Eve sighed and brushed her hair back. "If you want something to eat I guess you should go find yourself a fleshy human".
"I just may.." he noted, still smiling. "Yet, my Crusnik ways tell me you seem just as sweet." he said playfully. Daring another step towards her.
Bekah's eyes grew wide "Crusnik?!?!" She exclaimed. "But, but matt?!" she stammered, thinking of words.
Matt looked back at his sister and smiled. "Oh Bekah, i was raised by Crusniks, yet im mostly like every other vampire." he said backing away from Eve. "Its okay, i wont hurt you..or your friends. I will just go find some human..dont worrie your pretty little head over anything.." he soothed, then turned and dissapered.
Eve inhaled sharply and slid down the wall till she was sitting. She crossed her arms and looked up at the sky, it was a rather shaded day, she hoped it would rain soon.
Bekah looked down at Eve with a soft smile, "So, is Claude around?" she asked, a slight blush crossed her cheecks.
"Claude, I believe he is in his study reading". Eve gestured back to the lighthouse, Claude's room was near the top along with hers.
Bekah hesitated and then offered Eve a nod before turing and shimmering to the study. Once she landed she looked around and gasped, surprised on how many books there were. Then she spotted him, in the far right courner, sitting in a comfertable looking chair, under a lamp, reading something.
Claude turned the pages of his book, he turned to look over his left shoulder at Bekah, he stared at her, wondering what she wanted.
Bekah stared at him, stareing at her. Then blushed and dropped her eyes for a moment. Standing awkwardly in the center of the room. Then suddenly she looked up and waved, a small smile spread across her face at her creator. She mouthed "hello."
Claude nodded a hello and went back to his book, skimming the pages. He frowned and closed the book, standing up and turning to her. He signalled with his hands 'what do you want?'
Bekah looked at his hands for a moment. "Nothing, really. Just wondering what you have been up to.." she signed back.
Claude nodded and sat back down on his chair, he reopened the book and began to read the pages. He was studying articles on ancient vampires.
Bekah's curiosity took the better of her, she slowly made her way across the room, she looked over his shoulder and peered down at the pages. Noticing the ancient vampires in the book she suddenly became intrested and she kneeled down beside the chair to get a better look. Moments passed and she noticed Claude staring at her again, bekah slowly looked up from the book, into Claude's eyes. She smiled and backed away. "Sorry." she mouthed, looking around the room again. Still kneeled on the floor.
Claude just shrugged and continued reading, confused as to why she was really here. He turned to page slowly, his eyes looking a brilliant shade of green in the light.
Bekah, looked back at Claude, and blushed a tint of pink. She wondered why she was acting so strangly around him.. Bekah then softly poked Claude's arm, signalling " So, where have you gone to? I havent seen you around." she asked.
Claude wasn;t really in the mood for hand signs, he felt it easier to simply grab a sheet of paper and write. He took out a pen and began to write. I've been studying mostly, doing some work and reading up on ancients, I am an historian after all.
Bekah read this, then simply taking the pen and paper from him, writing Ah, that explains a lot she paused, debating on wheather she should ask her question or not..
Claude just observed and waited, he wondered why she was writting instead of talking, though, he did tend to have that effect on people, and he preffered silence.
Bekah put down the pen and paper, handed it back to him and sighed, tired of the silence. "Claude," she spoke, she sounded troubled. "How did..I mean, im just wondering.." bekah frowned, not quiet sure how to word it.. "How did you become....mute?" she asked, looking apologeticly, for fear she's asked to much.
CLaude thought it over for a secound, he scribbeled down on the paper and passed it back to her. I was born this way.
Bekah noded, content by his answer, "So, then who turned you? How did you find the lighthouse? What year was it??" she bambarded him with questions. Curious of the one who bit her.
Caude just smiled and shook his head, he wrote on the paper. I prefer to live for the future and not dwell on the past, but it was a long time ago.
Bekah smiled back, "Oh." ..."How long?" she whispered, she looked at him, her eyes showing this was the final question.
Claude wasn't going to answer, but he smiled, she was his child, she deserved some answer. He write down, 457 years ago.
Bekah's eyes widened at the number. "So that means you can be my great great great great great great great great grand farther.." she mumbled, mostly to herself. Awed. she looked at him, his young features granted that he was only 18 or 19. "great. And im like 16.." she mumbled. Feeling younger than ever letting her eyes drop to the soft carpet she was sitting upon.
Astrid casually open the door to the study, and poked head inside and smiled looking at bekah "Ah, there you are." he greeted her, fully coming inside the study. "Youre brother's looking for you, i hope you know." Astrid smiled and nodded towards Claude, then back to Bekah giving her a 'whats going on here?' look.
Bekah blushed a deep red and stood, brushing down the skirt of her dress. "Nothing." she gave him a look and then walked toward him. Turning suddenly and waving goodbye before heading out of the door.
Astrid looked over at Bekah grinning. "So...are you going to tell me what was going on in there, or am I going to have to pry it out of you..." he said smirking.
Bekah thought for a moment, looking back at the studie's door from where she talked to her creator. "Lets make this intresting," she smirked back, now looking up at Astrid. "You can pry." she added. Before rounding a courner.
Astrid raised his eyebrow "And how may I ask do you wnat to make this interesting my dear?..." he said curiously
Bekah smiled leading him onward. "Oh, i dont know..You ask questions, i tell the 'truth'. Yay or nay. This should be fun." Bekah giggled and rounded another courner.
Astrid nodded "Alright then...whats the reason you were blushing and smiling uncontrollably back there?" he said looking at her already red face.
Bekah smiled and eyed him. "Isn't it obvious?" she asked, walking past the bathroom from where she made her escape the first day she came to this place.
"I just wanted to confirm my suspicions." he said walking next to her. "And does your love interest know of your feelings?" he said looking at her.
Bekah blushed and shook her head looking down at her shoes. "He thinks of me as a child." she mumbled under her breath.
"Hmph...then prove him wrong." he said putting his hands in his pocket.
"How?" She looked up at him then, eyes full of questions. "Im not even sure if he even cares.."
"that my dear I do not have the answer to. Only you can figure out how to win his affection." he explained.
Bekah sighed and turned yet another corner, and bumped into matt.
"There you are." Matt said happily, and full.
Bekah surpressed a smile. "Here i am. Whatcha need?" she asked.
Matt shruged and looked at Astrid, nodded once. "Hello." he said to Astrid.
Astrid bowed graciously "Hello there. I see your feeling much better since your fight with Ascriot." he said giving him a once over.
"Yes, i supose." Matt said and mimed Astrid, also giving him an once over. "Why? Would you like a shot at me?" he asked, a sly smile spread across his face.
Bekah's eyes widened. "Matt.." she warned.
Astrid smiled running his tongue over his teeth. "I, young warrior, am not as kind and merciful as my lover. You see, she took into consideration Bekah's feelings for you. But I..." he looked away chuckling then looked back up, his eyes glowing red "I will kill you..." he said sounding many voices at once.
Bekah looked up at Astrid with horror struck eyes. "You Will Not ..doanythingofthesort!!" She commanded, glaring at him. She always talks really fast whenever shes upset.
Matt rolled his eyes at his sister. "Of course he wont. I am a Crusnik afeter all. This shall be fun." he mocked. "But wait, let us change into fighting clothes, this could get messy." he added before turning and changing into the same torn jeans he wore from Ascriot's fight, and a slightly baggy torn black shirt. "Ready." He chimed. "when and where?" he asked astrid.
"Right here, right now! he said as he sprung forward shimmering the both of them outside. Once there he grabbed his neck and flying them up into the air then flying straight back down into the ground, his head going into the rock hard earth with such force the ground crumbled from under them, making a huge crater. "That was for my love." he said looking at the scar she gave him.
Matt flinched and then punched Astrid in the face, making him fly backa few feet and rubbed his neck. Turning into a wolf, pouncing on him, and started to tear his face to shreds. Biting and scratching Astrid. Then suddenly he transformed back into a vampire, just his pants remained. And grabbed Astrid by the throat, looking at the damage he's already inflicked onto the guy's face. WIth a smile Matt licked the blood from Astrid's cheeck. Grinning at the sweet taste of vampire blood, forcing vines around Astrid, like a straight jacket. "How sweet you are, love." he whispered into Astrid's ear before sending a lightning bolt to strike him instantly. Giving him no chance he then controlled the water to morph around his apponet's face, drowning him as Matt transformed into a monster similar to 13. OOh! are you having fun? he thought happily as he picked up astrid and slammed him into the hard rock, over and over and over. The water still didnt budge from Atstrid's face.
Astrid smiled not healing his wounds on purpose. he used the wind to move the water from around his face so that he could speak. " Heh...I can't wait... he said coughing up blood from his lungs being punctured by his ribs "...I can't wait to see what she does to you." he said laughing and spitting up blood. He then let the force field of energy down and the water wrapped back around his head. He breathed in the water and drowned himself. Astrid was dead.......with his eyes giving out a piercing stare in matt's direction, and a smile on his face.
Matt turned back into vampire form. His smile gone and panick came to his eyes. He the took the water away from astrid's face and slapped his face "wake up! This isnt funny astrid!" he proclaimed, shaking him. He then started to rip apart the vines that bound him. "Astrid?!" he exclaimed. Thinking quickly Matt rubbed his hands together, an electric bolt came from them. clear he thought to himself, making a joke of it, yet he couldnt smile. Just then he lightly touched Astrid's chest, jolting him. Bekah! come here! quickly! he thought, shaking the electric waves from his hands and using water to heal astrid's enternal bleeding. He tried the eletricisity again ZAP. Nothing.
Bekah then suddenly appered "What is i--OMIGAWD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!?" she exclaimed once she saw Astrid's lifless body crumpled on the ground.
Matt struggled not to cry. "I-i didnt mean to" he stammered. Looking hopless at astrid's body. "I didnt mean to kill him! please , use that dark magic junk you used on me!" he proclaimed as betrayal tears rolled down his cheecks.
Bekah looked at astrid on the ground. Tears ran down her cheecks also as she fell to her knees, turning astrid on his side. The recovery posistion,Then instantly, her eyes turned A neon green and the black magic spued out of her palms. The black magic melted away all scrapes and brusies. Afterwards bekah turned ran her hand on Astrid's back forcing all the acess water out of his lungs. They both sat there and waited to see what would happen.
Astrid's body still lay lifeless on the ground. it was too late for him it seemed.
"NOOOOO!!" Bekah exclaimed while Matt teleported back to the lighthouse to pack. "NOO! i wont let you die!" bekah shrieked threw sobs. Suddenly bekah sliced her wrist with her razor sharp claws, forcing the blood into Astrid's lips, and down his throat. "I'll die to try and save you" She whispered as she used her water skills to drive her blood down his throat some more. "Live damn it!" she moaned, getting light-headed.
Matt smelled the blood all the way from the lighthouse, his hunger raged on. stupid astrid. he thought as he shuved his belonging into a bag...
Astrid's body started to disappear, getting taken away by the spirits of the lighthouse.
Bekah watched and once he dissapered, she collapsed onto the bloody rock once he layed. Everythung went black.
After packing, matt came back to say his goodbyes, yet he was too late, for there in Astrid's place layed bekah, his beloved sister, blood ran down her wrist and his stomach yearned for it. Matt considered gorging on his lifeless sister, when he saw her torso rise and fall. Matt clamped a hand over his mouth to seal his mouth closed. No way was he going to kill his sister too. As Matt moved to put her in the recovery posiion, a bit of her blood got on his hand, matt's eyes widened and he licked the blood. Oh how sweet it was. Maybe just a taste more.. his mind erged. As Matt brought his sister's wrist to his mouth, he suddenly stopped himself. Feeling like a low-life. He then suddenly teleported them back to the lighthouse, hoping someone could help her. "Goodbye." he whispered and kissed her forehead before leaving the lighthouse. Suddenly Matt shimmered back into the room and sat his things down "No i cant leave you like this. Not again." he whispered into Bekah's ear.
Ascriot felt part of her heart die, and she ran out to sdee what happened. She watched teh last of Astrid's body being carried away by teh spirits, and she turned to look at Matt and Bekah. Her face was twisted between hate and the face of a heartbroken spirit.... and she left without a word. She ran into teh sunset, to a place that she had been shown when she was first chosen to be bitten. No one, save her and Eve knew where it was.
The spirits carried Astrid's body to their sacred place and ley him on an altar before their god-idol, Ashira, the godess of life and fertility. "Oh mighty godess!" they wailed. They then chanted in the spirit language their request. The golden Idol did not move. The spirits left the godess to do her work...
As the light of the full moon hit the golden godess's figure, she slowly began to move. Her arms lowered to her sides, and she stepped off of the pedestal, over to the altar. What had teh spirit's brung.... A... boy? A child? She sighed and traced her finger down the curve of his face, and when she touched his lips, the image of a young lady with dark bornw hair and saphire eyes, and she realized he had a mate. She knew what she had to do. She put her hand over his chest, and drew his mourning spirit out, holding the small flame in her hands, petting it, comforting it.
Back at the Lighthouse
Bekah awoke to her brother fast asleep on a nearby chair. She smiled at the peaceful slumber he was in and sat up, feeling a bit dizzy. As she stood, she noticed she was extremely hungry. In so she Bekah turned and shimmered herself out into the wilderness. She closed her eyes feeling the forest around her, feeling every creap and crawl of the anmails. Suddenly her eyes popped open and in a flash, a bunny was in her grasp. The scared thing twitched and turned, trying to get free. Bekah smiled down at it, showing her fangs. Then swiftly she brought the bunny to her lips and bit into it, suking the life from its furry little body. After she was done, she simply dropped the thing and shimmered to go find something bigger, and harder to catch.
Vates stood still, listening to soemone approach.
Bekah appered a few feet away, her eyes still closed, yet she sinced a large creature behind her. Determinded to catch it off gaurd she melted into the fprest floor, traveling threw the shadows and then coming up behind the creature. Suddenly Bekah's eyes flew open, they were a neon green and she went to bite the creature, suddenly she noticed the creature was a young female with the same skin as hers. "Whoa!" She exclaimed, being caught off gaurd, pushing the girl to the ground in able to dodge her fangs. Falling over herself. "Who the heck are you?!" Bekah exclaimed as she looked at the girl she just pushed down.
Vates used the girl's confusion to run away, frightened.
Bekah then used some water from the trees to make a wall and stop her. Then suddenly appered infront of the esaping girl. "Hey, whoa, wait. I'm not going to hurt you.." Bekah said smiling, forgetting her hunger for a moment.
Matt woke up suddenly, dazed looking over where Bekah slept. As his eyes skimmed the room, he noticed she wasnt there. Fully awake now, Matt jumped up, surprised. Hastily glancing around in search of his not well sister. Suddenly he drew a circle in the air, a deep blue ring, used as a mirror hung in the air. As he peered into it he saw Bekah and a unfamiliar girl. Hey, good for you. Humans are tricky he thought to himself. Suddenly the unfamiliar girl stepped into sunlight, her skin shimmerd in the sun. Matt drew confused shutting the portal, and vanishing into thin air. As he reappered he stood behind the strange new vampire. "Whos this?" he asked Bekah. He looked down hungrily at the newcomer and licked his lips.
Vates shivered, staring at Bekah, who seems to loom over her tiny height.
Bekah smiled a friendly smile dont worrie, Matt and I wont hurt you. she soothed, using her physic powers to calm the girl down. "Now sweetie, whats your name?" Bekah asked.
Matt rolled his eyes. "Who cares? Why dont we just bring her back to the Lighthouse?" he asked Bekah, eyeing the girl.
Vates looked around and shivered again, disolving into shadow.
Matt noticed and caught her with vines. "Oh, no you dont!" he proclaimed, stopping her from getting away.
But Vates, being jsut a shadow, slipped through the vines and ran away, unknowingly, towards teh lighthouse.
"Great, Nice job Matt." Bekah sighed, closing her eyes again and searching for a deer or something. Suddenly, she found one. It was a White-tailed deer. Bekah melted into the ground and followed it. Until it stood and ate some grass. Suddenly Bekah poped up frrom the ground, startling the deer and biting her. Afterwards she grabbed the corpse and shimmerd the Lighthouse.
Once she got there, she dropped the corpse somewhere where 13 would find it and waited for the new arrival.
Matt sighed and teleported to the lighthouse himself, waiting next to Bekah.
VAtes was busy climbing to the top of the lighthouse, collapsing in a heap onthe roof.
Bekah heard a small thump ontop of the roof. In so, Bekah teleported ontop of the roof, right next to vates. "Hi." She said with a smile.
VAtes ignroed her smile. "Why an't you leave me alone?" she said bitterly.
Evelyn and Claude walked across the grassy lawn outside together, Claude had a book in his hands and was pointing out certain paragraphs to Eve.
Vates got a premonition of her telling Eve something about Ascriot being at teh Castle Mainstay. She jumped off and ran up to Eve, tugging on her sleeve gently.
Eve stopped, she turned and looked down at Vates. "What?".
Vates's eyes glowed a soft pink as she relayed the vision. "This person...named Ascriot... is at the castle... a big castle, on a cliff... The Castle Mainstay. I don't know what it means... but I know Iwas supposed to tell you... A star... Astrid...died recently... Hemeant a lot toher apparently... she went toteh castle with an intent in her heart."
Eve frowned a little, this woman was making no sense, all she caughtwas the name Ascriot and castle. "Am I supposed to go see her or what"?
Vates shook her head, confused. "That's what I don't know. All I knwo is that I was supposed to tell you that Ascriot is at the Castel Mainstay, adn that only you and she knows where it is... I saw black birds over her head as she drew near the castle on teh cliff."
Evelyn looked at Claude and then back to Vates, her expression was serious."Claude, we'll continue this later". She then turned without saying another word. She marched off towards Ascriot's location.
Vates looked at Claude and smiled at him.
Claude smiled back, he turned around quickly as he heard a twig snapping behind him, he tilted his head as a rather small child came in view. He looked at Daniel who was just staringat the duo.
Evelyn made her way towards the castle, she gently opened the large door and walked in."Ascriot"?
Vates looked at teh small boy, instantly feeling motherly towards him.
Ascriot sat in the window of her lounge, one leg dangling over the edge, a percarious drop right below her.
Eve walked into the lounge area, hand on her hips."What did you want"?
Daniel blinked a little, taking a large sip from his can of coke."Sorry to bother you". He said in a quiet voice."But i heard people talking".
Ascriot looked up, suprised to see her friend. "I didn't want anything. I haven't told anyone I was here... How... How did you find me...?"
Vates petted the small boy's head and eyed teh soda disaprovingly. "It's fine."
Daniel looked at Vates and then to Claude. "A-are you vampires aswell"? He hadnt seen a coven in months.
"A woman told me". Eve eyed her, putting all her weight on one leg.
Ascriot looked confused. "As I said.... I haven't told anyone i was here..." She wiped her eyes and got off of the window sill, looking back once more before closing the window.
Vates grinned, her fangs glinting. "Yes, we are."
"Then I guess it was just fate i found out, what's wrong". Evelyn didnt' move, she just stoof still watching Ascroit.
Daniel smiled brightly."Hi I'm Daniel".
Vates smiled softly. "I'm Vati."
Ascriot threw away hr handkerchief. "Astrid was killed. A Vampire killed another vampire... Matt killed my mate...." Asriot broke down, sinking tothe floor.
Daniel smiled nervously and began to fiddle with his sleeve.
Eve looked down at Acroit, shocked by what she had just heard."Who is this Matt". He voice went sharp.
VAtes held her hand out to Daniel. "Let's go inside."
Ascriot sniffed and merely motioned up an orb for Eve to lookinto, showing Matt.
Daniel took her hand eagerly and walked inside with her.
Eve walked over and peared into the orb, her eyes narrowed at Matt."Do you want revenge"?
"I just want Astrid back... whatever it takes." Ascriot whispered. "Do as you wish, Eve."
Evelyn nodded and turned on her heels, she exited the house with the intent to find Matt and make him pay.
Ashira, the godess, listened in to Ascriot and Eve, invisible in the room. A gentle breeze floated through the room, as Ashira caught one of Ascriot's tears. "One of the last things I need for her love's re-creation." Ashira whispered as she went back to the underworld, cradling the tear in her hands like a liquid diamond.
Vates looked around the kitchen for something to eat for the young vampire.
Daniel hurried after her, looking around the large house in awe.
Astrid opened his eyes to the rays of the sun. He had fell asleep in his window again...or so it seemed. Unannounced to him he was a spirit of the lighthouse, not yet even aware that he had died, and no recollection of his bout with Matt. He headed downstairs, his hands in his pockets. In his eyes he was the only one there, everyone else invisible to him.
Ascriot watched Eve leave, then decided to do some research onthe spirits, because she just remembered the spirits took his body away. She ran to teh library.
Vates grinned and set DAniel up onthe island in the kitcehn, lookign around. "What do yuo want?" she asked.
Daniel watched her work."Do you have any sweeties". He gave a child like grin.
Vates walked to teh refridgerator and pulled out a package of steaks. "How about steak?"
Daniel's eyes light up."Really..". He smiled and beamed at her.
Vates nodded and heated up the stove, searchign for a pan.
Daniel hoped down and walked over to her, watching her cook.
Vates foudn a cast iron skillet, and found some seasonings and a large knife, butterflying the steak so it would cook easier. "want a baked potato with that?"
Just then Bekah walked into the room, looking around. Something felt strange. She then suddenly caught a glimpse of Vates and Daniel. "Oh!" Bekah said, surprised. "Who are you?" she asked the small boy.
Matt then walked into the room, all eyes were on him. "What?" he asked, looking a bit nervous.
"Yeah please". Daniel clung to the back of Vates t-shirt, pearing over the counter. Her turned to look back at Bekah and Matt, he was about to answer when Eve walked into the room.
Eve glanced at Bekah, then to Matt, without another word she plunged her fist sraight into Matt's chest smacking him back against the wall, she then grabbed his throat with her other hand lifting him up.
Matt doubled over for a second, but before he could do anything about it, Bekah stepped in, "WHOA! WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" she cried, ripping Eve's hand from Matt's throat. Glaring evily at her. "What do you think youre doing?!" She yelled at her.
Vates glanced at Daniel and closed teh kitchen door, locking it. She sighed and shook her ehad, adding spive to teh steak and shoving teh potatoe in te oven.
Eve easily whacked Bekah back, she was a childe, barley even a vampire at that and was nothing compared to the power of the Walkers. "I suggest you stay out of this child". She sent Bekah a cold look, she then bent down infront of Matt."Tell me, why you killed him"?
"What's going on". Daniel pressed his ear to the door.
Matt glared up at her. "I-i didnt mean to. We were play fighting." he paused, looking away."I guess i went to far." he added, still looking away.
Bekah glared at her, but then went to the door where Daniel was and called. "Nothing dear, dont worrie." she said, still glaring at eve.
Vates pulled Daniel away from the door, plopping him ona stool at teh island, placing a bowl of corn infront of him and some bread and butter, teh steak sizzling. "Ignore them and focus onyour meal. The steakwill be done shortly." She looked around teh kitchen, a spirit was walking through, she could jsut abrely see his outline.
Daniel looked down at the table, he nodded, staring at the door occassionally.
Eve just thought it over."Silly little moth". She stood up, sighing heavily as she mulled over everything in her head."I should put your head on a platter for Ascriot, revenge is only fair". She tilted her head. "However...you may be of more use alive...maybe...I shoulnd't kill you".
Claude fused through the ceiling and behind Eve, he looked down at Matt and then to Evelyn. He frowned slightly, he had heard what had happened and knew something like this would happen. Evelyn was feircly protective of Ascriot, and would happily kill anyone who hurt her. He placed a hand on Evelyn's shoulder.
Ascriot felt hopefull for the first time since Astrid's death. She closed teh book adn warped back to teh lighthouse.
Bekah then walked through the door, leaving the fight be. Sitting on a stool next to Daniel. "So, whatcha doing?" she asked anyone.
Vates looked over her shoulder and wrapped another potato. "Making steak and potaotes. Want some?"
Ascriot landed in the front room, taking out matt on accident. He was in her landing path, and she was notorious for landing on people when she was in a hurry.
Daniel looked at Bekah."VV is making food". HE had already given Vates a nickname, he really liked her.
Vates smiled and blushed a little. She was only sixteen, but she considered Daniel like her own child.
Bekah smiled at Vanes. "Please, and Thank you." she said, a bit hungry. Then she turned her attection to Daniel. "VV?" she said smiling.
Daniel just hummed and watched Vates cool."VV ". He pointed to her.
Matt was flattened by Ascriot, as she stepped off him, he slowly sat up, and moaned, rubbing his head.
Evelyn just glared down at him, she turned and walked out the room, Claude watched her go and sighed in relief.
Bekah and matt sighed in usison. Even though bekah was in the other room, she knew what was happening.
Astrid turned around thinking he heard something. It was Ascriots figure in the dim light that came in through the window but he couldn't quite recognize her. "Hello...?" he vaguely shouted waiting for a reply.
VAtes heard him and looked for the shout. Apparently she was the only one who heard him. Seh walked out of the room and up to Astrid, taking teh spirit aside. "Are you Astrid?" she asked softly.
Ascriot walked up to Eve and showed her the page she was looking at. It was about the Spirit Goddess Ashira.
Once Vates spoke to him he could see her, as if she were a spirit herself. "How do you know my name?" he said as if meeting her for the first time.
Vates spoke softly. "You are dead, Astrid. I can see you because you are a spirit. Ascriot has just returned, because she has dicovered a way to revive you from the dead. She needs you."
Ascriot anxiously explained what went on to Eve, then looked over at Matt. "All we need is the lover and killer's blood in a bowl together in sight of the full moon, which is tonight. Thats why i came back in a hurry. It's almost sundown now."
"I'll get the killers blood then". Evelyn roughly grabbed Matt, she yanked his hand out and drew out a sharp stainless steel knife. She callously sliced across Matt;s hand and squuezed it tight so the blood poured into the bowel Ascriot had.
Ascriot watched her. "Well, not exactly what I had in mind... but okay. She quickly healed Matt's hand, and tehn slit her forearm, squeezing the blood into the bowl.
Matt winced at the pain from his hand. Why you little.. Suddenly Bekah's voice came into his head telling him to cool it. He sighed and looked away.
Bekah looked up at Daniel and VV and smiled,"Excuse me." she polietly said as she fused threw the door again, bumping into her creator, Claude. "Oh, sorry Claude." she mumbled, as her eyes was fixed on Matt, whom was still sitting on the floor. Get up Matt, really, you look pathetic. she spoke only to him.
Matt's face tinted a light pink as he controlled the air around him to stand. Looking down at the light white mark on his hand. The cut was almost healed completely.
Ashira saw the offering and smiled. Ascriot and Eve made a formidable pair. She blew the windows shut and took the offering, floating back to the spirit realm, hovering over Astrid's body. Tears of the love left shall help you see. Ashira put the tear in the air over Astrid's head. Blood from love and hate alike shall help you live. Ashira poured the blood offering over the air in a stick figure like pattern over his body. and a gift from the gods as a special blessing. She kissed her closed fist, and pressed the contents into his, marking his hand with a rune. She waved her hands over his stil form, and pulled his spirit back to his body, and the blood and tear dissolved into the air, seepng into his body. Ashira summoned servants to dress him, and she gave him the Kiss of Life, breathing into him, starting his heart. Thens he left, returning to her idol state and let the servants garb him.
~**~ Later That Day~**~
Bekah slept on the couch, in which she claimed. SHe twisted and turned, as if having a nightnare. Suddenly she awoke, screaming.
Ascriot hurried down the stairs, running sleepily to teh couch. "you alright?" she asked?
Bekah dazed, looked around. "Where am i?" she asked, confused and still halfway asleep.
Ascriot knelt beside Bekah and smoothed her hair down. "You're home, Bekah, you're inthe ligthhouse."
Bekah blinked an looked at Ascriot. Her skin glittering in the moonlight, that was streaming in from the window above. Bekah blinked again..suddenly tears flowed from her eyes, and she started to sob. I..I miss Astrid.. she sobbed, as she wipped her Teal eyes.
Ascriot held bekah as she cried, tears slipping down her face as well. I do too, young one. I do too.
Tired, Bekah closed her eyes, resting on Asirots's shoulder, and suddenly drifted off to sleep...in her mind, she wondered if Astrid would ever come back...
~~Morning~~
Bekah awoke once more, alone. She stood up and streched. Rubbing her eyes, and looking into the mirror. She then quickly re-painted her face, putting on mascara, eyeliner, the works. Afterwards, she got dressed in a pink skirt, and a black tank-top, she put on her converse boots and straightened her hair, resting some pink sunglasses in her hair. When she was done, she walked downstairs into the kitchen..
Matt sat there, over a cup of coffie. He looked worn out..
Bekah guessed it was because he was awake most the night, on gaurd, incase Evelyn wanted to jump him in his sleep. She smiled and greeted in with a hug "Moring..you should sleep.."
Matt smiled and took a sip of his coffie, black just the way he liked it. "Hey, yeah i know..." he noted, letting his eyes close for a second before taking another sip.
Bekah rolled her eyes before grabbing the coffie away, adding carmel and sweetiner to it.. "Go to sleep, i'll make sure nobody will bother you.." she odered.
Matt shrugged and then vanished to the woods outside. He then took some vines, deep in the woods, making a small cacoone like shelter for him to slumber in.
Bekah smiled and sipped from the coffie. Looking around, wondering where everyone was.
Ascriot sat onthe roof of thelighthouse, sleepless and dark eyed. She watched the sun come up, but it gave her no joy to see it. She sighed and warped back down to the lighthouse second floor, and walked into ther lover's room, laying down on his bed. She fell asleep, going into a protective hybernation. In her mind, she found Astrid's, and she rested for a while in it's embrace. Why aren't you back yet...? she asked.
[Spring Break Starts today, so, later tonight I will be gone till the 14th]
[NOOO!!! oh well im not gonna be here much anyway <3]
Bekah felt her presence in Astrid's room then, yet she decided to let her be. It was the least she could do, since her brother killed Ascriot's lover..
BOOM!
Claude handed his set of notes to Evelyn he had compiled while working through the ancients book. Evelyn took it and quickly scanned through.
"Thanks Claude". She nodded and wondered off leaving Claude and Daniel. Daniel peared up at Claude.
"Ancient vampires"? He questioned, Claude nodded.
Suddenly the room shook with the lould explosion. Things fell from the walls and books from their shelves...
Claude was thrown to the floor roughly, he managed to catch himself on the wall and reach out in time to grab Daniel out of the way of a falling bookcase. The bookcase crashed to the floor, shards of wood chipped off as it made contact. Daniel blinked as he stared at it, if CLaude hadn't of saved him he would have been under it."T-thanks". He turned to Clause who in turn smiled.
Bekah then appered into the study. "Are you guys Okay?!" She exclaimed, looking worried.
Claude nodded and slowly stood up, he helped Daniel up aswell.
"What was that"? Daniel looked at Bekah.
"I'm Not sure I think it came from...the woods.." Bekah dazed for a moment, then looked at Claude and Daniel, her eyes wide with horror. "Wheres Eve?" She cried, remembering Matt was in the woods...
"Claude gave her some notes and she left". Daniel answered for CLaude.
Jenna jumps off the couch where she had been deep in thought saying "what the hell was that and whoever did it might want to stay away from me for a little bit because i am VERY tempted to kill you"
Bekah looked worriedly out the window to the woods. "Excuse me" she mumbled before vanishing.
Once she entered the woods, she found Matt, laying on the floor. "MATT!" she exclaimed, running toward him. He was breathing, yet knocked out. "Oh..my.." Bekah breathed as she watched the blood escaping from his head. She then teleported both of them back to the lighthouse...
Daniel watche as Bekah came back with Matt, he stood behind Claude clutching the taller mans leg."What if it was a monster that made that noise". He sounded nervous so Claude ruffeled his hair reasuringly.
Bekah put Matt down on a nearby couch, looking down at him. She then noticed the new scars. It looked like he was mauled by a gigantic bear, or something.. "Perhaps, perhaps a monster.." she confirmed...
Claude felt Daniel's hold on his leg tighten, his looked down at the young vampire and smiled.
Daniel closed his eyes and buried his face in Claude's leg."What if it attacks us"?
Bekah looked over at Daniel and smiled. "Dont worrie, little one, we'll take 'em down." she soothed, sitting beside her brother.
Daniel smiled weakly and nodded.
Bekah looked up at Claude, then down at Daniel. She couldnt help but smile, since they looked like Father and son. Suddenly, with her great speed, bekah instantly flew over to them, pausing in to make sure she didnt frighten daniel. "Would you like to explore the woods and area, in search of what, or who did this?" she pointed at her passed out brother, whom was lying on the couch. Yet her calm gaze was still settled on Claude.
Claude nodded, it was best to check it out, he looked down at Daniel, not feeling to keen about taking the kid along.
"No..no you can't leave me here I want to come with you two". Daniel clung to Claude's sleeved and yanked Bekah's top, protesting to being left.
Bekah looked down at him and frowned, in attempt to hide a smile, Unsuccessfully of course. Then she looked up at Claude's disapproving face. "Claude.." she protested with Daniel. "If theres any danger, i can teleport him home. It'll be okay. Right?" she looked up at him, not wanting to leave Daniel here with Matt. "Since if Matt wakes and is hungry, well.. that would be more danger towards Daniel than whatevers out there..." She pleaded, eyeing Matt.
**~In The Woods~**
Michelle walked around out in the woods. Looking around, she could smell a faint path of where some vampires were, and faught the ergde to kill.
Ascriot woke up, feeling overwhelemed by the number of minds against hers.
Vates placed a hand on Ascriot's arm. "It's time to awaken, dearest. Your love is awaiting."
Ascriot stumbled out of the room and down the stairs. "astrid! Astrid!" she called out.
Astrid could hear her voice faintly in the distance, but couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from.
Ascriot pounded then railing of the balcony, and in her mind searched for his."Where are you?"
Astrid climbed up to the balcony, still only able to hear the faint sound of her voice. He was standing right behind her but could not see her. "Who's there?... he said searching
Ascriot closed her eyes and sank to her knees. " Why can't I find you?"" She whispered in her mind. "I felt your resurection....Maybe it was a lie..." Tears fell toteh floor of the balcony.
Astrid sat next to her unknowingly against the balcony shaking his head confused and alone. He was strong, but roaming alone for what seemed like an eternity was taking a tole on him. "I wish I could just touch her again..." he said as a tear fell from his cheek.
Ascriot felt a drop of water on her hand, and looked up at teh sky, expecting rain. It was a sunny and cloudless day. She looked back at teh water drop. It was warm.
"What I would give for just one kiss from her..." he said looking down at her red ribbon he tied around his wrist.
"Astrid. Talk to me. You're ALIVE now... " She sent out, feeling for his mind once more.
Astrid shook his head with his eyes closed "No I'm not I'm dead. Ascriot get out of my head, can't you see I'm trying to think about you. Wait a minute..." he realized that her voice seemed stronger than usual. He opened his eyes, and she began to become more clear. He reached out to touch her.
Ascriot started giggling. "I found you!" she hugged him tightly, tears leaking from her eyes.
Astrid smiled and hugged her lovingly "I don't suggest dying anytime soon, the spirit world is not the place to be take my word for it." he said laughing.
"If you don't leave me again, I won't have to have that problem." she said, sitting up straight.
Astrid nodded. "I'm sorry love." he said grinning. "At least now I can fight again and get my revenge...unless you've beaten me to the punch. That would be such a shame, I wanted to try out my new power." he said running his hand down her cheek.
"Eve already got him." her head snapped up. "What New power?"
