Itachi was walking through the hideout looking for Kisame.

Kisame grumbled as he grabbed his sword and nearly bumped into Itachi as he turned. "Oh hey Itachi."

Itachi looked at Kisame,"I've been looking for you,there is something I need to get from the woods,I must have dropped it when we were there last because I can't find it."

Kisame frowned slightly. "And what was it?" he asked.

Itachi looked at him,"It was a leather bracelet that I favored alot."

Kisame chuckled softly. "I hope it's still there."

Itachi nodded,"I do too,let's go find it."he headed for the woods.

Kisame nodded and followed Itachi back to the woods.

Kisame sighed and looked at Itachi. "Did she really have to come along?" he asked slightly annoyed that Shiona was with them.

Shiona looked at Kisame and frowned, her arms crossed, trying to resist the temptation of grabbing one of her katanas.

Itachi looked at Kisame,"She wants to join,she probally would have followed us even if we said no."

Kisame looked at Shiona and grumbled. "Fine," he muttered.

Shiona rolled her eyes and looked at Itachi. "So what are the tests?"

Itachi smirked,"You have to fight me and Kisame,you can chose if you want to fight us both at the same time,or one after the other."

Shiona grinned as she unsheathed both katanas she carried. "Both of you at the same time sounds like fun," she said.

Itachi smiled,"Allright then."

Kisame smirked evilly as he grabbed a hold of his large sword. "Hey Itachi, should I slice her legs off if she's not fast enough?" he asked.

Shiona looked at Kisame slightly. "Just try it, I dare you." she said and then looked back at Itachi. "We should be evenly matched, if I'm able to beat Orochimaru."

Akemi peeked her head in the doorway of the hideout. She glanced around warily, and after seeing no one was right there, she snuck in. She went to slowly shut the door, but without realizing it, slammed the door shut.

Kisame frowned as he heard the door slamming. "I'll go check that out," he told Itachi and Shiona. He headed towards the door, his eyes widening. "YOU!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???"

Akemi jumped and leaned against the wall in fear. She gulped and stared at Kisame, not knowing what to say.

Kisame walked up closer to Akemi, frowning. "Well?"

Akemi blinked, gulped again then took a deep breath. "I.. I.. got ... lost...?"

Kisame raised an eyebrow, not believing Akemi. "Really, you didn't follow us here?"

Akemi shook her head fast. "No no, I promise you.. I promise I didn't!" she said quickly.

Kisame sighed and grabbed Akemi's arm. "Come on then," he said, practically dragging her back to where he had left Itachi and Shiona.

"Where, where are you taking me??" Akemi asked fast, trying to get away from Kisame's grasp.

Kisame looked down at Akemi. "What, you don't think I'm going to let you go back are you?" he asked her,"You don't leave here unless you're a member."

"Either you're forcing me to join, or you're keeping me prisoner.. I'm thinking the latter?" Akemi muttered, still fighting Kisame's grasp. "I won't run if you let me go... I have nothing to run back to"

Kisame sighed and let go of Akemi's arm. "Just stay away from the other members for now alright." he told her. "And stay out of trouble."

Akemi nodded. "Yea, no problem!" she answered, looking at Kisame, then at the floor fast.

Kisame looked at Akemi slightly and then stopped once they neared Itachi and Shiona. "Great, they started without me."

"Started what without you?" Akemi asked curiously.

Kisame pointed over to Itachi and Shiona fighting. "The fight," he sighed.

Akemi looked then sighed. "You don't HAVE to fight... do you?"

Kisame looked at Akemi and frowned. "Why are you asking?"

Akemi looked at the ground. "No reason" she said in a soft voice.

Kisame leaned over and stared at Akemi. "What?"

"I said no reason" Akemi answered louder, looking up at Kisame.

Kisame shrugged and looked back at Itachi and Shiona. "Hmm she's not too bad of a fighter." he whispered.

Akemi nodded before slowly slinking backwards without Kisame realizing. She looked around, then wander down a hallway. After a moment, she had easily gotten herself lost.

Kisame had crossed his arms and frowned as he kept watching. "Damn," he muttered and then noticed Akemi was gone. "Damnit!Where did she go now!?"

Shiona smirked evilly as she threw a katana at Itachi, piercing his cloak and landed behind him. "Not bad Itachi."

"Oh crap" Akemi muttered to herself, peeking in different rooms. "Where am I...?"

Kisame sighed heavilly as he left Itachi and Shiona once again, searching for Akemi. "Why me?"

Akemi peeked around a corner and spotted Kisame. "Uh oh..." she muttered as she stood like a deer caught in headlights.

Kisame spotted Akemi and crossed his arms. "What did I tell you earlier?"

Akemi looked at the ground shyly. "I... I'm sorry..."

Kisame sighed heavilly and shook his head. "Do you want to join the organization?" he asked suddenly.

Akemi gasped then nodded fast. "I would give anything to join!"

Kisame looked at Akemi and then smirked evilly. "Good," he said, "Then I guess you'll be going through the same test Shiona is at the moment."

Akemi gulped. "I.. have to fight.. him?"

Kisame smirked still. "Well unless you want to fight me, either way you have to beat at least one of the members."

"who's the easiest?" Akemi chuckled lightly, nervousness showing up in her voice.

"None of us are easy," Kisame told Akemi and opened up his cloak slightly, showing the rest of his face and his grin.

Akemi looked down and grinned to herself. "I have to choose who I fight..? or.. what?" she asked softly.

"Uh well I doubt Itachi will be fit to fight after he's done with Shiona," Kisame said and looked at Akemi. "Why?"

Akemi shrugged. "Just wondering" she sighed softly.

Kisame shrugged and sighed as well. "Come on, you need to get ready for this."

Akemi nodded and smiled, a light blush gracing her cheeks.

Kisame frowned slightly. "What's wrong?" he asked. "You're red."

"Nothing... nothing's wrong" Akemi answered.

Kisame placed a hand on Akemi's shoulder and led her down the hall. "Whatever."

"So.. where are we going?" Akemi asked, looking up at Kisame.

Kisame smirked evilly. "To train."

"Why don't I like that smile...?" Akemi asked, chuckling even though she was nervous.

"Maybe because I scare you," Kisame chuckled.

"You terrify me! In fact, right now, this whole place terrifies me!" Akemi admitted, looking around.

Kisame stopped and looked down at Akemi. "You shouldn't be that terrified of me actually, there are others worst then I am here."

"Oh really?" Akemi answered, smiling lightly.

Kisame nodded and grinned. "Yeah I don't suggest you piss off Itachi."

Akemi continued looking at Kisame. "Is he really that bad?"

"He killed his entire clan," Kisame stated, "Well with the exception of his brother Sasuke."

Akemi blinked in amazement. "Wow... that's harsh.."

Kisame shrugged and chuckled. "If you say so," he said.

"What? You don't think so?" Akemi answered, smirking.

Kisame shook his head. "No I don't, I think it was pretty awesome of him to do that."

Akemi shrugged. "I guess I better grow to like stuff like that!" she smirked widely.

Kisame smirked evilly. "You better."

Akemi giggled and poked Kisame's arm roughly. "Stop grinning so evilly!"

"Why should I?" Kisame asked looking at Akemi. "It's who I am."

Akemi crossed her arms and fake pouted.

Kisame raised an eyebrow. "What??" he asked. "It's true."

Akemi did the sad puppy eyes, smiling slightly as she did.

Kisame blinked and frowned, still looking at Akemi. "What do you want me to do then?"

Akemi shrugged, then looked away shyly.

Kisame stopped in front of a room and opened the door. "Get in before Pein sees you."

Akemi obediently listened and stepped into the room quickly.

Kisame stepped in after her and shut the door quickly, dropping his large sword against the wall. "Make yourself comfortable I guess, but don't touch my sword."

"Why not?" Akemi answered, sitting on the bed, smirking widely.

Kisame walked up to Akemi. "Well for one, it sucks up chakra, so if you wanna keep your strength, I'd keep away from it."

Akemi smiled up at Kisame and nodded. "Alright. If you say so"

Kisame turned away and removed his cloak, throwing it over a chair near where his sword was and then sat down on his bed next to Akemi. "Now that's much better."

Akemi kept her eyes on the floor, smiling and blushing brightly.

Kisame looked at Akemi and smirked. "What's wrong?"

Akemi shook her head. "Nothing" she muttered softly, glancing at Kisame, then away fast, smiling widely.

Kisame chuckled and placed his hand under Akemi's chin, making her look at him. "Really? Then why do you keep looking away like that?" he asked. "Would you rather me put on my cloak again."

Akemi shook her head, staring deeply into Kisame's eyes. More of a light blush crossed her cheeks.

Kisame smirked a little more and moved a little closer to Akemi. "What do you think of me?" he asked suddenly.

"What do you mean what do I think of you?" Akemi asked, gulping slightly. "I'm not scared of you or anything.. if that's what you meant..."

Kisame laughed softly. "Well obviously you're not scared of me, or else you would be long gone by now." he said. "I meant if you like me or something, you did show up everytime Itachi and I ended up being in that forest and then you showed up here."

Akemi blushed madly. "I.. just... I... I was just... curious..." she answered, looking away awkwardly. "I... wanted to know who you guys were..."

Kisame dropped back onto the bed and grinned. "You don't sound so sure there."

Akemi looked down at Kisame, then looked away fast again. "I.. I am sure" she answered.

Kisame reached up slightly and grabbed Akemi's hand, pulling her down on him practically. "Really now?" he asked smirking.

Akemi blushed unbelievably much. She stared down at Kisame softly.

Kisame blushed lightly as well and smiled softly suddenly. "You're pretty cute you know."

Akemi giggled softly and smiled. "You are too..." she answered in a small whisper.

Shiona sighed softly and looked around. "Hey where did Kisame go to?"

Itachi pulled the Katana out of his cloak,"I don't know."he looked around.

Shiona looked back at Itachi as he eyes turned a deep blue suddenly. "It doesn't matter I guess."

Itachi smirked,"He'll turn up eventually"

Shiona nodded and smiled at Itachi. "You know, I've always wanted to fight you."

Itachi blinked,"Really??Why did you want to fight me?"

Shiona smirked suddenly. "Maybe because I've always admired you," she said,"And I kinda like you too."

Itachi's cheeck turned pink but he turned before Shiona saw,"You like and admire me?"

Shiona chuckled softly. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

Kisame smiled and lightly ran a hand down Akemi's arm. "Really?"

Akemi nodded. "You're sweet too" she said in an even quieter voice.

Kisame chuckled softly. "So are you," he whispered.

Akemi blushed as much as her face would allow. She looked away shyly.

"Akemi right?" Kisame asked softly.

Akemi nodded. "Yes. That's right"

Kisame smiled a little more. "Good, I didn't forget," he chuckled as he sat up slightly.

Akemi laid on her back on the bed and stared up at kisame. "Good" she said in a shy voice.

Kisame looked at Akemi slightly. "I'm actually glad you followed us here."

"Why's that?" Akemi answered softly, not feeling as shy anymore.

Kisame shrugged and chuckled as he moved, towering over Akemi now. "Aren't you?"

Akemi stared up at Kisame, feeling tiny compared to him now. She slowly nodded. "Of course I am..."

Kisame smirked. "Thought so," he whispered and leaned down a little closer.

Akemi gulped and took a deep breath.

"What's wrong, am I making you nervous?" Kisame asked, knowing he probably was.

"Kind of... yes" Akemi answered softly. "But it's a good kind of nervous"

Kisame chuckled softly. "A good kind of nervous, how's that?"

Akemi giggled softly. "I don't know..."

Kisame smiled and lightly kissed her cheek before sitting back up. "If you say so."

Akemi blushed again, but kept her eyes on Kisame. "I do say so"

Kisame stood and stretched slightly. "I like your way of thinking."

Akemi sat up and nodded, then stared at the ground.

Kisame looked back at Akemi. "You know, I could convince the leader to let you stay without you having to join."

"H-how??" Akemi asked, looking curiously at Kisame.

"Not really sure yet," Kisame said and smiled. "But I'll think of something."

Akemi grinned and jumped up, hugging Kisame tightly. "Thanks!"

Kisame's eyes widened and blushed lightly as he placed his arms around Akemi. "Uhh, no problem..."

After a moment, Akemi stepped back, blushing madly once again and staring at the floor. "I'm so sorry" she whispered.

"Sorry for what?" Kisame asked her.

Akemi looked at Kisame, still blushing. "For.. hugging you"

Kisame chuckled and poked her side. "That's nothing, it only surprised me that's all."

Akemi giggled softly and jumped as he poked her side.

Kisame smiled widely. "Got any interests?"

"Interests?" Akemi asked curiously. "What do you mean by... interests?"

Kisame shrugged and kept his eyes on Akemi. "I don't know, things you like?"

Akemi shrugged. "I don't know.. I like... anything really..." she answered, laughing.

Kisame chuckled softly. "Anything?"

"Yes." Akemi nodded.

Kisame moved closer to Akemi and smirked evilly. "Anything you say?" he asked once again and placed his hands on her shoulders.

Akemi gulped and nodded, staring up at Kisame. "Yes." she answered quietly, her voice almost a whisper.

Kisame moved quickly and picked Akemi up in his arms. "Does that include this?"

Akemi blushed madly. She automatically put her arm around his neck. She grinned and nodded. "Yea.. it could.." she smirked.

"And I think I'm getting an idea for the leader now," Kisame smirked as he set Akemi down.

"Oh? What is it??" Akemi asked almost excitedly.

Kisame smirked. "You'll see," he said as he grabbed his cloak and put it on,"Wait here, I'll be back in a few minutes."

Akemi blinked. "O-ok" she answered, sitting down on the bed and sighing.

Kisame looked back at Akemi slightly. "Don't move, ok," he said before leaving.

"Ok!" Akemi answered. After a moment, she flopped backwards on the bed and yawned widely.

A few moments later Kisame came back and shut the door quickly. "It's done," he whispered as he took off his cloak and then looked at Akemi. "Akemi.."

Akemi half smiled, a slightly confused look on her face. "What... what'd you do?"

Kisame smirked as he sat next to her on the bed. "You're staying,"

Akemi tackled hugged Kisame, knocking him backwards. Then she sat up and stared at him. "How?? What'd you do?"

Kisame chuckled softly as he looked up at Akemi. "Well...." he said quietly.

Akemi stared at Kisame. "Well...?"

Kisame smirked evilly at Akemi, not telling her right away. "You'd probably hurt me if you knew."

Akemi poked Kisame's side rather roughly. "No I won't! Just tell me!" she crossed her arms and tried to frown, cracking into laughter instead.

Kisame grinned and blushed lightly. "Well...I had to say we were involved."

Akemi stopped laughing fast and stared at Kisame, blinking. "You did...?" she asked, a small smile hinting in the corner of her lips.

Kisame nodded and looked at her. "You're not mad are you?"

"No.. not.. not at all" Akemi answered, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

Kisame blinked as he watched Akemi. "Seriously?"

Akemi nodded. "Honestly!"

Kisame wrapped his arms around Akemi and lifted her up as he hugged her. "I'm happy now."

Akemi laughed loudly and hugged Kisame back. "Me too!"

Kisame looked at Akemi, still holding her and smiled. "So...what do you want to do?"

Akemi stared into Kisame's eyes and shrugged. "I don't know..."

"I guess we could go finish watching Itachi and Shiona's fight," he suggested.

Akemi nodded. "Sure!"

Kisame nodded and walked over to the door. "Don't forget, we're together."

"We'd better act like it then..." Akemi muttered before grabbing Kisame's hand and holding it gently.

Kisame smirked and lightly squeezed her hand. "I guess we should," he said as they left the room.

Akemi grinned widely, her cheeks turning more red.

Kisame smiled at Akemi. "You don't have to be shy about this," he told her.

"I won't be" Akemi stared up at Kisame dreamily.

"Are you sure?" Kisame asked and chuckled softly.

Akemi continued staring up at Kisame, then suddenly hugged him tightly. "I'm sure"

Kisame blushed lightly and smiled. "Ok," he said quietly.

"Well.. are we going? Or not...?" Akemi asked after a moment.

Kisame nodded as he snapped out of his thoughts and nearly dragged Akemi back to where they usually did their training.

Akemi laughed and followed along as fast as she could.

Kisame looked at Akemi and suddenly picked her up and placed her over his shoulder. "There," he smirked.

Akemi laughed.

Kisame chuckled softly. "Hope you're enjoying it up there."

Akemi giggled. "Much easier then walking everywhere!"

Kisame patted her back with his free hand and grinned. "I could always put you back down..."

Akemi shrugged slightly. "I don't care!"

Kisame shrugged slightly and continued to walk. "Nah, I like you where you are,"

"Yea, I like where I am too" Akemi giggled.

Kisame stopped suddenly and peeked through the door. "Good they're not done yet."

"Ok.. you can put me down now.." Akemi smirked. "I wanna see them fighting..."

Kisame set Akemi down and looked at her. "You're beautiful," he suddenly said.

Akemi blushed brightly and looked down at the ground. Then she looked back up at Kisame and grinned. "Thanks... I would say you too.. but that'd be an insult..." she giggled.

Kisame raised an eyebrow and blinked. "....Ooook."

Akemi looked down. Akemi you baka... just shut up... she thought to herself. "Sorry. Just ignore me"

Kisame leaned forward and kissed Akemi.

Akemi blushed brightly as she returned the kiss.

Kisame grinned and picked her up once again. "Lets go in to watch them."

Akemi frowned slightly. "Yea.. sure!"

Itachi's cheeks turned pink but he turned before Shiona saw,"You like and admire me?"

Shiona chuckled softly. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" she asked and placed a hand on her hip.

"N-nothing,it's just noone has ever admired or liked me."Itachi said suddenly feeling warm,What is wrong with me? he thought to himself.

Shiona walked up closer to Itachi. "Are you alright?"

Itachi shook his head trying to clear it,"I'm fine."

Shiona smirked as she looked at him. "Are you sure, you're blushing quite a lot."

Itachi looked away from her,"I said I'm fine,it's just uh hot in here."

"I don't think it is," Shiona said and giggled. "Too proud to admit you like someone?"

Itachi's face got redder,and he turned to Shiona,"How do you know when you l-like someone?"He asked rather akwardly.

Shiona blinked and shrugged. "You just do," she said,"I guess you get butterflies in your stomach when that person's around."

Kisame stepped into the large room and stayed far from Itachi and Shiona.

Itachi looked at Shiona,"I-I-I think I-I l-like you."he turned even redder.

Shiona blushed lightly and looked away. "You're just saying that..."

Itachi shook his head,"N-No I mean it."

Shiona spotted Kisame and Akemi, she blushed a little more and looked back at Itachi. "Think we can deal with this later?"

Itachi saw Kisame and Akemi too and nodded,"Yeah."

Shiona smiled softly. "So am I in or do I have to pass more tests?"

Akemi looked awkwardly at Kisame, then frowned slightly. "Can you put me down please?"

Kisame blinked and chuckled. "Yeah, sorry," he said as he set Akemi down on her feet.

Itachi looked at Shiona,"Yeah you're in,Kisame why were you carrying that girl?"Itachi looked at Kisame then at Akemi.

Kisame froze and looked at Itachi. "Uh...well..."

Shiona chuckled and looked at Akemi, frowning slightly. "Hey aren't you from Konoha?" she asked.

Itachi looked closer at Akemi,"Hey weren't you in the woods?"

Akemi looked to Kisame, then back at Itachi and Shiona. "Yes.. I.. I was in the woods" she took a step closer to Kisame, standing half behind him as if hiding.

Itachi blinked,"You don't have to be scared."

Kisame looked at Akemi slightly and then back at Itachi. "Oh yeah one more thing..."

Shiona smiled at Akemi. "You're Akemi right?" she asked.

Itachi looked at Kisame,"What is it?"

Akemi stayed behind Kisame. She looked at Shiona and nodded. "Ye-yes.. I'm Akemi"

Shiona smiled a little more as she unconciously moved closer to Itachi. "Nice meeting you." she told Akemi. "I'm Shiona."

Kisame placed a hand behind his head and sighed. "Well...She's going to be staying, and everyone else thinks we're involved..."

Itachi chuckled,"You mean they think you are dating her?"

Akemi looked at Shiona and half smiled. "Nice to meet you" she said in a quiet voice. She looked at Itachi once again.

Kisame nodded. "Yeah..only thing I could think of."

Shiona chuckled softly as she looked at Kisame and then at Itachi. "Say don't we have something we need to talk about?"

Akemi smiled lightly, still standing slightly behind Kisame.

Kisame looked at Akemi. "You don't have to be scared of them you know."

"Who said I'm scared?" Akemi answered, smirking slightly.

Kisame smiled slightly. "Well you are hidding behind me.."

Akemi giggled softly. "I'm not hiding... I'm just standing here"

"Sure you are," Kisame smirked.

"I am!" Akemi giggled abit louder and stepped out from behind Kisame.

Kisame nodded and smiled as he looked back at Itachi and Shiona. "Say you two seem to be getting close." he teased.

Shiona blushed and looked at Kisame fast.

Itachi turned red,"Uh yeah Shiona we need to talk."he took Shiona's hand and led her away.

Akemi laughed lightly and looked at Kisame. "And he's the toughy everyone's afraid of?" she said, laughing.

Kisame chuckled and nodded. "Yep, I guess love is getting the best of him." he said and smirked. "It's about time."

Shiona looked at Itachi as he led her away. "And where are you taking me?"

Itachi ignored Kisame and Akemi and waited till they were out of earshot before answering Shiona,"My room if you want to talk,don't worry I won't try anything."

Akemi giggled again and shook her head. "He's not half as scary as people say he is.."

Kisame became serious suddenly. "That's because you haven't seen him in battle." he said.

Shiona nodded and smiled slightly. "You better not try anything."
