Personality: Thane, though well brought up with proper manners and schooling, is not a nice person. It isn't his fault, however, he merely fell in with the wrong crowd. His personality shares one of the qualities of a mushroom, it picks up tastes from those it is with. Sometimes this can turn out for the better though usually it turns out for the worst.
Despite what many think he isn't a lug-head with no brains. He is actually rather intelligent, he just keeps it to himself. He takes everything in for future reference, should he need it. Knowing him, he probably will. He gets into trouble a lot of the time, mainly through no fault of his own rather the fault of his peers.
He can be kind, you just have to get to know him properly. When he is without his 'friends' he can be quite the charmer. Unfortunately for him, people find it hard to look past the colours you've painted yourself. He, unlike most, has a motto: 'Don't judge a book'. He knows how annoying it is to be judged on face value. He tends to act exactly as people think he will to save having to explain the workings of his rather complex mind.
Though, saying this, he may choose not to be kind because he simply doesn't like you. The problem with Thane is: no one can tell who he likes and who he doesn't. Some call it a curse, some call it a gift. Thane calls it genius. One would be right in thinking that he is completely and totally self-loving. With this comes a confidence like no other. He isn't one to shy away from anything, especially when telling people what he thinks of them. However, he only does this when the situation calls for it. Atmosphere makes things all the more meaningful in his eyes.
He may not show it but he doesn't like the people he is often seen with. He likes making things easier for himself and being with them was the easiest way to get by. Thane is a firm believer in right and wrong. However, this does not mean he actually sticks to it.

Appearance: Thane has coal-black hair in a deliberately messy style that covers his eyes successfully. He is often said to be boyishly handsome even with his almost permanent sarcastic expressions, that said Thane isn't the most attractive but - as expected - he doesn't care. Something about him screams 'Scottish' and it isn't the fact that he is a Scott. It is something that no one can put their finger on.
He has deep brown eyes and an average complexion, his features are somewhat angular and match him perfectly. His chin is often sprinkled with a fine layer of stubble which is only noticeable when you are up close.
His form can be perfectly described with the word 'lanky', he is extremely tall and shares the physique of a bean-pole. Though he is thin everyone knows that he can hold his own rather well if it ever came down to a fight. His clothing tends to be casual, normally including jeans and converse. He doesn't put much effort into the way he looks, simply because he doesn't feel the need to.

Any special qualities? He's very intelligent but no one really knows it. 

Wish: He doesn't make wishes.

History: Thane comes from Scottish roots, needless to say he has been the brunt of many 'och-ay' jokes. His family have two houses, one in Scotland and one in Italy. He often flits between the two.
His parents are considerably wealthy, having many shares in the stock-market. This has enabled Thane to have a rather lavish lifestyle. He was never spoilt, he always worked for what he has but that does not mean he doesn't have more than most.
From a very young age Thane discovered his intelligence, he also discovered the meaning of his motto. His personality has not changed since then.
His life has not been filled with danger and adventures like he once dreamed, he gave up on dreaming as soon as he learned that it would never come true. He is not unhappy about it, he is - in fact - perfectly content. 

Other: He enjoys knowing that he is right and he normally is. His 'friends' have a habit of calling him 'Nessy', it annoys him to no end.
