The Hallway at Hogwarts
Pansy waited until she and Draco were out of earshot of Snape. "What the bloody hell was that about?!" She whispered as she and Draco kept walking.
"Obviously." Susan said plainly "Something is up with Professer Snape, should we trust him Pansy?!" Susan then asked Pansy calmly
"Of course we can!" Draco blurted before Pansy could reply. He turned to Pansy, "But he is definately up to something."
"I doubt that he's purposely trying to hide anything from us." Pansy muttered, "But the Ministry must have something against Hogwarts." She cleared her throat, "Again. But what is it?"
Draco began to say something but stopped when he noticed other students walking past them. He quickly put on his usual frown and waited until they were our of hearing range. "We'd better head back to the common room. No doubt Goyle doesn't know yet and we should probably fill him in." He turned to Susan, "Why don't you go back to Hogsmeade and try and get Potter and his little crowd. Tell them we'll meet back in the Grand Hall later on tonight." Without another word, Draco and Pansy kept walking towards the Slytherin Common Room, leaving Susan behind.
After entering the castle, Hermione stayed out in the hallway looking at the four huge hourglasses, which usually filled themselves at the mention of points by teachers and after a game. She sighed and walked into the Great Hall.
Ginny had over heared Draco, Pansy, and Susan's conversation and wondered what was going on. She knew about the new rules that the students had to follow, but why was Draco Malfoy being so nice? She went into the great hall to look for Hermione.
Hermoine is seen exiting the Great Hall and making her way over to a very unused bathroom. She found herself amist the moving staircase, on which she had to wait until the specific stair case moved to where she needed to be. She climbed them rapidly and found herself inside
Moaning Mertyl's Bathroom.
Ginny made her way up the staircase and into the common room.
Cho and her friends left the Ravenclaw common room and walked to the Kitchens to get a snack.
The day after the meeting in the Great Hall, Luna went skipping down the hallway. She was caught off guard when Draco, Pansy and Goyle came flying out of the air and landing on the ground in front of her. "Rough trip?" She asked them blankly.
"Oh I never thought I'd see the day where I was glad to see you!" Pansy exclaimed breathlessly as she gave Luna a hug.
"Right then, we got everything Hermione needed." Draco muttered, "Seen her or Potter lately?"
Luna shook her head, "Not since last night. I shall go find them!" She smiled
"Great, tell them all to meet us here as soon as possible." Draco muttered as Luna skipped down the hallway.
"Think she'll come back?" Pansy giggled when Luna didn't seem to hear Draco.
"I wouldn't put much faith in her finding me," Hermione said as she walked towards Pansy, Malfoy, and Goyle. "I've been up all night in the girls' bathroom checking what we need to make the potion. Did you get enough hairs for everyone?" she asked, stopping next to the three.
Pansy nodded as Hermione and Luna came towards them. She pulled out the vials from her robes and handed them to Hermione, "I found Arthur Weasley for Ron, Percy Weasley for Luna, Ignay for Susan and um, I got this one for you." She said, smiling at Hermione, "Madam Georgina Perriwinkle."
Draco stiffled a laugh as Hermione was shown her vial. "Right then Granger, when do you think this thing'll be done?"
"Haven't you read anything from your potions book?" Hermione asked, her arms crossed in front of her. "I seem to recall you passing every test in that class. I hope your memory is as good because I've already told you how long it would take, not to mention I'm missing two ingredients."
Harry walked up to hermione and stared "What two ingredients?"
Ginny came up beside him. "So everyone here?"
"How long do you think it'll take you to get the rest?" Pansy asked, worried that she'd have to do something dangerous again in order to get whatever Hermione needed.
Hermione shrugged. "I need Horn of bicorn and Skin of boomslang to make it," she told them. "I can't say for sure how you guys get them, but I do know that we can't even start it without Horn of bicorn at the ready. It's the first ingredient we add to the cauldron." She had a nack to explain everything to people, something she'd taken up since beginning in the school. Strangely enough, she probably didn't need to explain half of what she does, but it's more habit than necessary.
"Where do we get it?" Ginny had no problem helping Hermione get whatever she needed.
"I'm guessing Snape's supply cabinet." Hermione replied. "Is he willing to help us?" she asked Malfoy, Pansy, and Goyle.
"Depends on who's asking him for help." Pansy muttered
Draco rolled his eyes, knowing that Pansy meant him. "I'll talk to him if nobody else will." He sighed
"Actually that would be best." Ginny said, "He likes you best."
Draco turned to Hermione, "So when would
you prefer I talk to him?"
Hermione blinked at him, crossed her arms, then tilted her head, as if in thought. "Well, it all depends on when you plan to infiltrate the ministry. I'm guessing pretty soon because it will take a month for the potion to become ready for drinking.
Draco shrugged, "Fine. I'll try and find him tomorrow. How's that work, Ms. Granger?"
Hermione didn't reply, or even hint anything. She had turned and walked back towards the girl's bathroom, but took a right. She had slipped through a lesser known passageway, a short cut to get to the Gryffindor common room.
Pansy shrugged at the rest of the group. "Well I guess that means it works." She muttered.
Suddenly Kendra had walked up behind them and said "Can I be at help then...?" She stood leand against the wall with her arms crossed.
"You the heck are you?" Ginny had never seen this girl before.
"Kendra Saberhagen." Pansy muttered in response. "Don't tell me you two haven't met?" She turned to Kendra, "Well aren't you a lucky one."
"Nice Pansy. Really nice." Ginny rolled her eyes.
"Thanks, I thought so." Pansy smirked at her reply.
"Alright already!" Draco sighed as he stepped between Pansy and Ginny. He turned towards Kendra, "And actually we're fine for now. Pansy and Goyle and I were just going back to the common room. By the way, you seen Snape anywhere? The three of us need to talk to him about something."
Pansy looked at Draco with a raised eyebrow, "Oh so now Goyle and I are involved in this?"
Draco rolled his eyes, "Well by now I figured you'd just automatically assume that you'd be coming with!" He snapped
How thick can you be Pansy?" Ginny asked.
Kendra smirked at the comments from Pancy and Ginny and said to Draco "Sorry... No Snape anywhere." She looked at Draco for another two seconds then looked at Pansy and Ginny. "Pansy, Ginny." she said and walked away down the hall.
"Oh shut up, you." Pansy rolled her eyes at Ginny. She noticed Kendra leaving and gave her a nod in response.
"Why should I? You're the one being a git." Ginny shot back.
"Come off it, will you?" Pansy sighed and turned towards Draco and Goyle, "Now anyway, what was that about
leaving?!"
"Alright alright." Draco muttered, "But you're both coming with to find Snape later, right?" He asked, looking from Pansy to Goyle
Goyle, who had up until this point been looking quite out of it, snapped to attention looking at Draco rather dumbly "For what?"
"Haven't you been listening?" Pansy rolled her eyes at Goyle, "To talk to him about the missing ingredients." She sighed again at Goyle's still-blank expression, "For the potion? That we need to get into the Ministry?!" She sighed and shrugged her shoulders as she turned back to Draco, "And does it look like we have an option?"
"No not really." Ginny crossed her arms and leaned tort Harry.
"I didn't think so." Pansy muttered, glaring at Ginny and Harry, "Now unless you two think otherwise," She said, nodding her head toward Draco and Goyle, "I suggest we go back to the common room. We don't want too many people getting involved in this." She continued, returning to glaring at Ginny and Harry.
Ginny glared back. "I can't believe I am going to say this but she is right. The more people the harder it is."
Goyle nodded "Ok lets go back to the common room then." he shrugged and looked at Draco
"Perfect timing!" Pansy said, grabbing Draco and Goyle by the collars of their robes, "Let's go before I get sick from those two." She muttered so only the three of them could hear and with that, she dragged the two of them away to the Common Room.
Ginny turned to face Harry. "I hate her."
"Same to you." Pansy yelled back over her shoulder.
"Good. I would hate for you to go soft. Beacuse if you did hexing you wouldn't be my favorite game anymore." Ginny yelled at her.
"C'mon, you aren't gonna take that from her, right?" Draco smirked as Pansy ignored Ginny. He stopped and glanced back at Kendra. "Wait hold on a minute." He mumbled to Pansy and Goyle as he turned back down the hall. "Hey Kendra, come here a sec."
"Oh boy." Pansy rolled her eyes towards Goyle. She glanced back at Draco, "What are you doing?"
