Imagine ancient Greek, and Roman architecture at its' finest. Towering aqueducts, hanging gardens adorning ornate mansions, a massive coliseum at the center, and two levels to the city. Now place that in the heavily fogged over forests of Eastern Europe and you have Valghast. An ancient two level city at the center of a small yet powerful empire. Two main aqueducts feed into the city from two separate lakes that have been shore up and dammed up to hold water. Each of these are in itself a fortress for the city has weathered many attacks. The city walls encompass each of these life lines to the base of each mountain. The city is a bustling hive for activity, and at its' center, is the vast Coliseum, capable of holding 30,000 souls. The politics are cut throat. The current Emperor is High elven, the members of the Senate are a mix of human, dwarf, anthro, Dragon, and other assorted creatures. The Empire has at it's command ten legions, each numbering ten thousand strong. Priding itself with their martial prowess in the legions.

This is Valghast in the Imperial calendar year 1132.

4 legions have sworn loyalty to the Were-pack leader Urkar Reik. Having grown tired of fighting for what they perceive as an ungrateful and biased empire. Urkar has led his and 3 other legions into open rebellion against the emergent Empire
