They are the same as a soul eater, just a little more evolved since they don't just need them to stay alive, they just need them to keep them balanced between good and evil. My main SC Saari, will "polish" a soul, meaning turning it good or eviul, then steal it, so depending on what she needs, is what she makes it.

Serenity and the man walk towards the burning villages, "Miss Iri, please come."

"Yeah...sure, but I'm not gonna hold Kioshi's hand!", Iri crosses her arms and follows behind the two.

Kioshi smiles, "No one ever asked that of you."

The young men living in the village lift the staked bodies of their fallen leaders into the fire. Alastor runs into the heart of the village. The other villagers stare at him for a moment, the return to their work. Once the bodies are are in the fire an elderly woman steps infront of the flames. She begins to chant.

"She is clensing their souls of sin, so that they may go to heaven...well, the ones who were innocent before bitten.", the man explains. Upon hearing his voice, the villagers turn to him and bow, "Oh, pardon me, please carry on, I was simply explaining.", they do as told, "I am Kioshi.", Serenity stands beside him, he arms wraped tightly around his right one, Iri dead behind them.

"Did you do this?" Alastor asks in a calm voice.

"If you are refering to the stakes in the village leader's hearts, then yes. I also asked them to burn the bodies to ash, so that the souls will not be bound to this place.", Kioshi explains in the same calm tone.

"Why? Im told you always have a good reason for your actions. Can you tell me why?" He seemed more insistant, but didnt raise his voice.

Kioshi sighs, "I was recently informed that the five village leaders took on a sixth member. This was odd to me, since five is an odd number used her to make voting decisions, a 'tie breaker', if you will. I came to the village simply to ask why they were changing thier ways.", Kioshi points to the mansion in the sinter of the village, "That building is where the village leaders live and govern. As soon as I steped in this village I noticed the scent of a head vampire. I began investigating, it is my job.", he points at the bodies, "As it would turn out, I couldn;t rid out the head vampire, since he fored the other leaders to attack me. I had little choice in killing them. Once I found the head vampire, I killed him.", Kioshi smiles, "You should understand this best of all.", he stares straight into Alastor's eyes.

Serenity distracts Kioshi for a moment by pulling on his sleeve, "He is on our side for now."

"Oh, I see.", Kioshi glances at the villagers, "No payment, just focus on rebuilding you village, and electing new leaders."
