About Official Prize Badges, I thought it would be fun if ALL badges entered here could go on that page, so there's more choice for people who just picked their winner. The credits will be on the page too, of course. If anyone minds, tell me!

Welcome everybody to this contest. As many of you may have noticed, the contests have been springing up like mushrooms lately. Because of this, there's now a demand for prize badges that people can put in their houses.

Rules:
1. Keep size and dimension within reasonable bounds (standard Elftown badge: 120 x 136 pixels).
2. Multiple entries per person allowed.
3. It doesn't have to be a standard badge, there can be categories, 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, anything you can think of.
4. Color is appreciated, so is transparency in some cases. Gif-images with transparency can be uploaded via tech.html. You need the mayor's permission, but if you e-mail your entry to me I can upload it for you.
5. It has to be pretty! People should be able to be proud of their badges!

7. Your own work please! (I used MsOffice97 clipart for the example, so I'm disqualified!)
8. Deadline: March 8th
9. Winner(s) will be chosen by means of a poll.

11. Winner(s) will be put on an Official Prize Badges wiki page, and will have the honor of getting the first prize badge!

2004-02-20 [May-lea]: It's very easy then, as long as you've been using layers. if not , it's still very easy

2004-02-20 [May-lea]: the thing is, the bits you want transparents have to be transparents in photoshop

2004-02-20 [May-lea]: Then, make sure before saving that you make the background layer invisible

2004-02-20 [May-lea]: And -Very important bit- save it as a Compuserve file (.gif) Tick transparency, and finish saving. Your picture will have transparency

2004-02-20 [May-lea]: After, you'll need to upload it via tech, or wiki-pages, because it won't work if you uplad it to your photo/drawing slot

2004-03-14 [May-lea]: I had [something wicked]'s entries in the cache of my computer. I was still seing them. So I saved them and uploaded them to elftown.
