2006-02-12 [moira hawthorne]: [Kuruni] how did you made it? what medium or program?
2006-02-12 [Asrun]: Looks like ink and coloured pencil to me. :O
2006-02-12 [spiritee]: some parts look kind of like water-color pencils.
2006-02-12 [Elisha Kelly]: [Kuruni] rarely uses comptuter programs... it is usual water colours... though I would hazard a guess that these are water colour pencils... i have some at home but can't be bothered learning to use them effectively...
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: I use watercolors, water color pencils, ink, and prisma color pencils :D
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: pretty....
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: what are prisma coloured pencils?
2006-02-13 [Duredhel]: A brand of color pencils which seem to be very good ^^ since more people who color with pencils use them.
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: Prismacolor are a great brand, they are translucent and the white one is awesome, blends everything and you can make highlights with it.
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: ooh :} I just use my water colour pencils, though I don't use water yet... but I want to start using pastel pencils, before I move onto anything else... I brought a really cool book the other day that teaches to draw fairies, mind you the only reason I bought it is cause it also shows you how to combine different mediums, and different techniques...
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: i want *that* book....<_<
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: hee hee... I found it in a book store :P, though I think the artist is aussie... you are definately in her league tho [Kuruni] she uses a lot of watercolours and such.
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: :D
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: actually she is british... it is linda Ravenscroft... hee hee can't wait to try some of the techniques...
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: will try to find her...i'm off to bed....i'm sick.
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: nitey then... hope you feel better :}
2006-02-13 [Kaimee]: Who else is willing to bet that the name Ravenscroft is invented? ;)
2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: :P who knows... i never knew there was a last name death... but there is.
2006-02-13 [jsun]: Yeah and what about the name Dement? Who knew that was real? But I suppose it is... it's my name after all LOL
2006-02-13 [moira hawthorne]: truth is stranger than fiction
2006-02-13 [kay-chan]: I have the most boring name in the world... I only *wish* I had the last name 'Death.' Hee.
2006-02-13 [jsun]: Kay-chan Death? Hmmm... it's got sprite
2006-02-13 [Kaimee]: Every single person on earth with the same last name as me is related to me, isn't that crazy? There aren't that many but there are a few different branches worldwise. Someone did a study on it awhile ago and made up the whole family tree and every single person registered as a citizen anywhere with our last name fit on the tree o.o
2006-02-13 [moira hawthorne]: sprite = a small faery or avatar doll
2006-02-13 [Kaimee]: Would that makes you 'D. K. Death'? XD
2006-02-13 [kay-chan]: Once I get my medical degree, it would make me Dr. Death. X3
2006-02-13 [Kileaiya]: Ahck! Remind me not to visit you then :P
2006-02-13 [kay-chan]: Actually, it would be fitting. See, I'll be a coroner, so it would be totally awesome to be Dr. Death. XD
2006-02-13 [Kileaiya]: Now that would be awesome.
2006-02-13 [jsun]: LOL Moira, I think our definitions would be listed under seperate numbers in the dictionary. You know like Sprite (Spr-yt) 1. blah blah blah 2. yakedy yak yak
2006-02-13 [moira hawthorne]: yup.... well peeps Im getting towards bed time here...
2006-02-13 [jsun]: catcha later "M"
2006-02-13 [Cia_mar]: argh! the compitition stiffens...*mu
2006-02-13 [Jitter]: Lothuriel I adore this piece!
2006-02-13 [Lothuriel]: Me too...but it isn't mine.
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: Not yours? the who is the artist? i thought it was one of the rules that it has to be your own art? <_<
2006-02-13 [Cia_mar]: not yours? but your name?...
2006-02-13 [Lothuriel]: sorry [Jitter] I misread your comment...thou
2006-02-13 [Jitter]: LOL xD It's okay Loth we all have misread comments :D
2006-02-13 [Kuruni]: :D
2006-02-13 [Cia_mar]: i feel better now....lol
2006-02-13 [Lothuriel]: Sorry bout that....xD
2006-02-13 [Cia_mar]: no probs... we all have those days... wait i'm having one right now....AAAAAAA
2006-02-13 [kay-chan]: Heh, I had one of those days. It's lasted me three years now. :P
2006-02-13 [jsun]: 3 years sounds more like a drought pal :) now a mental drought,... that's something I have time to time
2006-02-13 [jsun]: You know, there's a lot of nice color art here. Maybe you guys should check out the contest I put up today
2006-02-13 [Lothuriel]: I would love to enter but, I only use traditional methods. I don't use the PC to paint with ...
2006-02-13 [jsun]: Any color is fine by me. Prisma pencils, crayons, I surely don't mind
2006-02-13 [Lothuriel]: OH, well...then I may have to give her a try.
2006-02-13 [jsun]: :) I hope alot of artists give it a shot. If it's successful enough, i may have to give prizes for top finishes too. I just love you guyzez coloring skillz
2006-02-14 [Dragonartist]: lol I kindof need to practice my coloring skills :P all I have right now is colored pencils and Photoshop
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: I still hate having my work thumbnailed. *growls* Why are we thumbnailing them again? Thumbnails make no difference to the time it takes to load the pages :/ They'll still go equally slow (or fast) depending on your connection.
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: I mean and after all, we have Moira's very own words on the subject ;) [304489] "if people have a slow connextion than they should get a faster one... not blaim others for having it... if they cant wait its their own fault... they should study zen medition or yoga... or keep up with technology... or not.. but dont bitch about it... " If people want to read the comments every day without having to wait for the page to load, why don't they just stop it loading, once the comments are up? Or if people are really against it, you could do what some contests do and close comments on the entries page and make a special 'chatting' page.
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: Although really, hundreds of other ET contests haven't had a problem with it (many of which I ran! >:P) so I just don't see why we have to thumbnail our works for this one :(
2006-02-14 [jsun]: I'll 2nd that motion
2006-02-14 [Duredhel]: I understand why some people would want to thumbnail their work, I'm not one to say "Well screw them cuz they have no money to get a better connection". What I do believe is that the decision of whether the work should be thumbnailed or not should be made by the page owner and/or creator of the contest.
2006-02-14 [jsun]: Also true... but perhaps the page owner can only make their decision based on the "voice" of the comment section. The bottom line is of course, page owner got the reigns, I'm along for the ride. I would however like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to click my thumbnail! LOL ;)
2006-02-14 [Duredhel]: What I DO think we could do is make the thumbails 200 pixels wide instead of 100.
2006-02-14 [jsun]: Hey you know, that's like double the art!
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: Ahh, but my point is that thumbnailing doesn't make things load faster, and even if they did you've already got a quite strongly stated opinion from Moira saying that connection speeds shouldn't be a factor anyway ;) But that doesn't matter, because they really don't improve loading speeds. And yes, I just checked that with [True, plain and simple] so I'm not just talking out of my err.. hat :3 The thumbnailing just bothers me because unlike the rest of you I'm using a transperant GIF as one of my entries, and thumbnailing it down ruins the transperancy and instead shows dark grey :(
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: So, if it makes no different whatsoever except to make it easier to skip over the entries you don't want to have to soil your eyes with (and personally, I don't think that's quite the attitude to bring to an art contest :P) then why thumbnail them at all? Or why not just post a basic maximum size (300? 500?) and only resize extra large entries that exceed the size? 200 width thumbnails instead of 100 are really basically exactly the same for me: the GIF's transperancy is still ruined, and they'll still take equally long for the rest of you to load.
2006-02-14 [jsun]: The Research has been done. Let no man (or woman) go without knowledge. Give us full size images! What really has an effect on loading time anyway is the rezolution of the image. If you have an 8000 by 11000 pixel image with 72 dots per inch versus someones 400 by 5500 pixel image with a DPI of 300, your larger image will still load faster than his/hers. It's not how big the image appears on the screen. It's the dots per inch. So thumbnailing really is pointless. The only good purpose for thumbnailing would be for example if you set them all to 600 width then the page would have a uniform appearance. But like my good friend [Kaimee] was saying. Resizing kills gif transparencies
2006-02-14 [Duredhel]: Uhm.. actually not.. resolution and DPI are only important in print medium, every computer screen has a set number of pixels, and no matter how much you set your resolution at, the set number of pixels the screen reproduces at any given time won't change. In any case, if resizing really doesn't save loading time I say we go full size (or a maximum of 500 pixels, since we don't want to scroll for half an hour to see 1 pic :P)
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: Exactamundo ;) Now, is someone going to pedantically sift through all the entries and order us to change our resolution to make it easier for them to access a contest that is, by all means, not their right to visit (I'm sorry if this sounds hostile to anyone, I've been up since 5:30 I'm bound to be a little tetchy by now :P) or does that sound utterly insane to anyone else? ;) My GIF isn't even 400p wide or tall, it's hardly large at all! :P if you want a uniform appearance set it at something standard that still shows a decent sized version of the image and geez, I'm not talking thumbnails here. I'm talking 450-500 wide/tall.
2006-02-14 [kay-chan]: SHUSH. I'm taking away the thumbnails.
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: *laughs and pokes*
2006-02-14 [Lothuriel]: I love you [Kaimee] and I would never say that [True, plain and simple] doesn't know what he is talking about *bows to the almighty computer guru* but, when I had dial up, (and even somewhat now with DSL) thumbnails loaded much faster for me than regular sized pics (not sure if you remember, one of our very first conversations was me asking you how to do it). I think thumbnails of size 300 instead of 100 look very nice and neat. As for thumbnailing the gif, I do agree with you, they don't look very attractive at all when thumbnailed...
2006-02-14 [jsun]: Dûredhel that's not true. here's your test. Creat an image. Doesn't matter if it's all black. But open some sort of graphic program on your computer and create two images the same size pixel-wize but give one of them 72 dpi and the other 300. then see which one is the larger file size. test which one uploads the fastest onto an image host site or something. there's definately a difference
2006-02-14 [kay-chan]: You guys are like kids. :P Yeah, I was just going along with what the contestants had previously wanted, cuz I'm hosting it fer you guys, but now that there is strong opposition... ^.^; And anybody who wants to resize their pictures, you'll have to do it. I know some people had it resized before.
2006-02-14 [jsun]: Hey [kay-chan]! Lovely to have you stop by! I believe you just saved Kaimee and I a migraine! Yes time for beautiful artwork!
2006-02-14 [kay-chan]: Yeah, I come back on and there are many arguments. I saved meself a migraine. ^.^;
2006-02-14 [jsun]: lol not so much arguements but rather "The sharing of information"
2006-02-14 [kay-chan]: Okay, then. ^.^ "Lotsa words that made me go: sigh, I GOTTA read this... but I'm so laaaazy!!"
2006-02-14 [jsun]: LOL hillarious
2006-02-14 [Kaimee]: Loth, I loves you and your two cents, don't let us prissy people bully you guys ;) And Kay... what's the bet when the people with the opposite opinion log on you'll have the exact same argument? Just tell us to shut up and make up your own mind ;) Rule with an iron fist and all that stuff :P
2006-02-14 [Veltzeh]: Eh. The way Elftown resizes the picture makes the file smaller so that it does load faster. It's because Elftown creates a separate thumbnail. Now, if you hotlinked a pic from somewhere else, Elftown doesn't make a thumbnail and the loading size and time is the same as for the larger picture. It is also possible to resize Elftown pictures so that a thumbnail isn't created (so that transparents gifs will look transparent, but slightly grainy like pictures linked from somewhere else).
2006-02-14 [Lothuriel]: You just made my brain hurt....lol
2006-02-14 [kay-chan]: Yay iron fist! Hee hee, fascist rule. It makes me giggle. ^___^
2006-02-14 [Veltzeh]: I have that tendency. XD Technical detail to the power of three!
2006-02-14 [Cia_mar]: wow... i jhad to read almost 2 pages ago just to catch up... all in one day's time ya'll wrote alot... my only comment is... the pics look nice especially since sometimes when i clicked on the thumbnail, it wouldn't get much bigger anyway.... and i agree with [jsun], everyone has awesome coloring skills here! what is your new contest?
2006-02-14 [moira hawthorne]: [Cia_mar] ... when an image is thumbnailed small and you click on it and it only gets a bit bigger.. your mouse pointer will be a + sign so click again and it will become full size.. ( than your mouse pointer is a - sign) if you click it again it goes back to small .. if you close it goes back to thumbnail.... and [Kaimee].... on the Valentine art contest [Sunrose] thumbnailed my gif as a transparent gif by placing ! uQt! (without the space between ! and u) in the address .. behind the <img: .. that was something I didnt know before.. but I do now..
2006-02-14 [Cia_mar]: thx [Moira] but no matter what i did it would just stay small on the new screen... but i wil keep trying.. there might be something i need to do differant on my end.....
2006-02-14 [moira hawthorne]: there have been some buggy things with ET lately... it could be related to that... all the thumbnails pop up full size foer me.. and I havent heard anyone else say they couldnt get the thumbnails to come to full size... I also having trouble getting the transparent thumbnail gif to work.. like [Sunrose] said.. tho she did get it to work in the contest.. >.< why its not working for me I have no clue... Ive tryed it in several different places..
2006-02-14 [moira hawthorne]: ok... [Sunrose] said: Write... img:! uQt!stuff/...e
2006-02-14 [Cia_mar]: it works today apparently... chalk it up to persnickity computers virtual ways!
2006-02-14 [Elisha Kelly]: when I click on thumbnails, they load at their full size then shrink when finished loading to fit in the screen, usually if I click to the bottom right of the picture a little box appears and I click that and it goes to fullsize.
2006-02-14 [Veltzeh]: When you click on thumbnails, it depends entirely on your browser and system what the picture will be done to next. I automatically get the full picture because I have no use to see them any smaller...
2006-02-15 [Cia_mar]: [Elisha Kelly] -that is what is now happening to mine too... guess the prob is resolved
2006-02-15 [Kuruni]: Why am i seing huge pictures instead of thumbs?
2006-02-15 [jsun]: A majority rules decision was made to do away with the thumbnailing. Yay! Now I get to see all the pretty artwork when I'm in a rush and have no time to click thumbnails!
2006-02-15 [Cia_mar]: [Kuruni] i had to go back and read 2 and a half pages of dialogue to understand it myself... but i guess [jsun] is right... it was what everyone decided yesterday.....
2006-02-15 [Elisha Kelly]: i preffered the thumbnails, but anyhoots...
2006-02-15 [Lothuriel]: eh, we are still welcome to thumbnail ours if we choose. =0]
2006-02-15 [Elisha Kelly]: :} no real point... mine is one of the smaller ones anyway :D thumbnails were just easier to see... a loit of the pics above a pretty big :D
2006-02-15 [Lothuriel]: I am lucky, hehe, mine is on the very end so, no having to sift through a lot to get there...
2006-02-15 [Duredhel]: I'd say we change do resize them, but not too small. As I said before, 100 is just too small, but if we set them for 400 or 500 it should be fine.
2006-02-15 [moira hawthorne]: when ET was acting up and the images werent loading... I sugested thumbnailing them to 200 or 300... 100 being way too small 300 is nice in my mind.. but 400 is good too...
2006-02-15 [Duredhel]: Well, I'll just follow Kay-chan's instructions and resize my own image, I hope some other people resize theirs too ^^
2006-02-15 [moira hawthorne]: [Duredhel] are you gonna clour yours? I reall like the deamon girl! she is quite creative! love her 3rd eye... and she like a crab scopian taur!
2006-02-16 [kay-chan]: Fist! Of iron! The size doesn't really matter!
2006-02-16 [Duredhel]: I meant this rule Kay -> If you want to resize your picture, do it yerself. :3... and yeah :P I'll color her, I'm inking her right now.
2006-02-16 [kay-chan]: Oh, I was actually commenting on the continuing comments against the new picture sizes. :3 It's just NOT an issue anymore. (That little dot at the end of the sentence? Yup. Period.) ANYwho... Yay for color!
2006-02-21 [Dil*]: hero contest - shameless plug!
2006-02-24 [Jitter]: Kaimee the new one's great!
2006-02-24 [kay-chan]: *blinks* Woah-I totally *just* came from dA, where I saw that first... Heh, it didn't register that you had done it. *^_____^*
2006-02-24 [Cia_mar]: the compitition is getting more and more stiff in here!... wish my scanner were working to that i could enter something new!
2006-02-24 [moira hawthorne]: [Kaimee] entry 3: A forest elf... is lovely
2006-02-24 [Jitter]: Yeah I feel bad for my poor entries now :p :)
2006-02-24 [Cia_mar]: hey i am starting my own art wiki... come and help me make it great... Cia_mar's art and thx [moira hawthorne] for all your help thus far!!! i couldn't have done it without you!
2006-02-25 [dayah]: okay I must not be doing it right...grrr. I hate computers sometimes
2006-02-25 [Kaimee]: Thankee everyone who liked the new piece :P And [dayah], upload your image, edit this piage, add your entry number, your name, and place the image with them by writing <IMG:url of the image in this space>. You get the url by right-clicking over the image after you've uploaded it, and going to properties.
2006-02-25 [dayah]: don't know what I did wrong...grr...
2006-02-25 [Elisha Kelly]: i think that fixed it... you have to either have all of the img in either capitals or lower case letters... you had Img :D I hope that explains it in a non confusing manner
2006-02-25 [dayah]: thank you soooooo much
2006-02-26 [moira hawthorne]: [Dracontiar] those are very lovely! are they all pencil only?
2006-03-03 [Dracontiar]: Yeah. Varying amounts of time, though. One took all summer, while another was done in one school day. Of course, I didn't do any schoolWORK that day, but still ^^
2006-03-03 [moira hawthorne]: no I meant if they were pencil only... there is a speacial contest for that art... see my home page if interested... I have the contest advertized with its banner...
2006-03-06 [dayah]: My New Contest Give Jinx a Face!
2006-03-06 [kay-chan]: This contest is almost over! You have until Wednesday sometime (probably late) to put in your entries... Unless you ask me NOW, I will not extend the deadline. Rawr!
2006-03-06 [Elisha Kelly]: MY GOODNESS! must hurry, must hurry!
2006-03-07 [kay-chan]: The deadline did sneak up on me, too... ^.^; I would have said something maybe Friday, but I totally forgot the deadline was this week until today.
2006-03-07 [Elisha Kelly]: i knew... but i have been sick so i haven't done much artiness :}
2006-03-07 [kay-chan]: Awww... I'm sorry. :(
2006-03-07 [moira hawthorne]: .... *nudges Kay-chan* .... 7. Rules subject to change at any moment. They might even be changing right now.
2006-03-07 [kay-chan]: Yes, well, I'm willing to grant an extension to anybody who asks, as I've said, but since [Elisha Kelly] hasn't asked for an extension, I don't know if she wants one (she might see that she would never finish it in time, or something) or she needs to ask me... now... :P
2006-03-07 [moira hawthorne]: *poke* *poke* *poke* [Elisha Kelly] ask!
2006-03-07 [Elisha Kelly]: I don't need an extension... I just have to do the background... :P
2006-03-07 [moira hawthorne]: sweeeet.... she has additude
2006-03-07 [Elisha Kelly]: :P I hate backgounds...
2006-03-07 [moira hawthorne]: to me there are two types of B/G... the room or real life surrounding perspective B/G = pain in the arse but is very effective when done correctly for those few that can.... and the moody atomosheric colour surrounds = my favourites... which can be just as effective... and are much easier and often make a more emotional painting.
2006-03-07 [Elisha Kelly]: I like colour ones... but The one above I tried all sortsa backgrounds but nothing really worked... it was driving me nuts!
2006-03-07 [moira hawthorne]: I think if you blur the line between sky and sea abit... make it fade into the distance it will be great...
2006-03-07 [Elisha Kelly]: can't be bothered... I will eventually change the background... once I figure out exactly how I want it... It was supposed to be a desert scene... i will get back to it another time...
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: [Dracontiar]-I can't see your pictures.
2006-03-09 [moira hawthorne]: i cant either... and they are loaded on elfwood... which isnt down so they should be showing...
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: It's pretty strange, but if [Dracontiar] just redo the links I think it'll work. And I don't know if I'll be motivated enough to do it myself, we'll see later.
2006-03-09 [Veltzeh]: They're linked via the extranet, not Elfwood, and the extranet is down while Elfwood isn't, so that's why they're not showing.
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: :\ Hopefully she'll get on a bit, cuz I'm lazy... but if not, I guess I could redo the links. I mean, she did enter on time, and it's not her fault the system went down.
2006-03-09 [Veltzeh]: Of course, hotlinking from the extranet is a bad thing since the pictures should have been uploaded to the regular gallery >_>
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: I think I saw the pictures on her gallery... Yeah, hotlinking from the extranet is bad, too. :P
2006-03-09 [Veltzeh]: I actually looked at her gallery, two of the pictures are there but one isn't, I think. :O
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: Urgh. Now I have to think about it... with my brain... ew.
2006-03-09 [Veltzeh]: *patpats brain* It'll be good. :)
2006-03-09 [moira hawthorne]: I wish people would just load images to elftown that they enter in contests in elftown
2006-03-09 [Elisha Kelly]: that's what I thought peeps was supposed to do...
2006-03-09 [moira hawthorne]: I always assumed it was... but people also hotlink from photobucket all the time... and than thats when there are problems...
2006-03-09 [moira hawthorne]: and I thought ..lysator.liu.
2006-03-09 [Veltzeh]: Even the pictures that are on Elfwood aren't on the server called elfwood... they're on a server called ewancient ;)
2006-03-09 [kay-chan]: [Dracontiar], you will have to be responsible for the third picture when you get back on. I'll change the poll accordingly when I can.
2006-03-14 [Cia_mar]: wow i was a way for a week and suddenly we're voting!!! ... *sniff sniff* no votes for me...*sigh*
2006-03-15 [The Femme Fatale Problem]: Yeah...no votes for me either...oh well...we'll be voteless together.
2006-03-15 [Cia_mar]: yeah i gues so... course we could change our votes and vote for each other...lol...
2006-03-15 [moira hawthorne]: hahaha... the 'good sportsman' badge
2006-03-15 [Cia_mar]: the "pathetic i cannot believe i didn't get a vote AGAIN!" badge...lol
2006-03-15 [moira hawthorne]: the worm badge! .. you know like the camp song... no body loves me everybody hates me might aswell go eat worms!
2006-03-15 [Jitter]: there actually is a worm badge (official) and I have one ;p
2006-03-16 [moira hawthorne]: damn... so there is.. hummmm how about the 'sour grapes' badge?
2006-03-16 [The Femme Fatale Problem]: the "I entered this contest and all Kay gave me was this stupid badge" badge hahaa
2006-03-16 [Kaimee]: Nuh uhhh, that's the centipede badge, there isn't any worm badge yet ;)
2006-03-16 [The Femme Fatale Problem]: haha "yet"...
2006-03-16 [moira hawthorne]: thought I saw a worm in a book... somewhere... but we could have a bird eating a worm... or the sourgrapes... plus it doesnt have to be an official badge... for the badge slot...
2006-03-16 [Cia_mar]: great i started something here! woo hoo i made a difference in what others think! ( nothing like random ideas to start new conversations.
2006-03-16 [Jitter]: Heheh yeah it is the centipede badge but it's still a worm ;p This idea though: "I entered this contest and all Kay gave me was this stupid badge" is awesome xD
2006-03-18 [The Femme Fatale Problem]: Haha thaaanks...I think it should look really dumb on purpose.
2006-03-18 [kay-chan]: Hee, I'm so going to do that badge now. Anywho... Does anybody know how to make the poll have the names of the people who voted beside their choice? I tried, I honestly did.
2006-03-18 [moira hawthorne]: How do I make a poll
2006-03-18 [moira hawthorne]: anytime you got a question check out How do I?
2006-03-18 [kay-chan]: Hm, seems like I'm going to have to do a bit of research for reasons unbeknownst to myself... (Figure out some other things that the page doesn't reveal.) But thanks much!
2006-03-18 [kay-chan]: Ermph. So... we're on the honor system now...
2006-03-21 [Asrun]: *hasn't voted yet* ;_______; too many great entries
2006-03-23 [Dracontiar]: well, it's s ad world if we can no longer depend on the honor system at all.
2006-03-23 [kay-chan]: I think we can, especially in this case, because I know most of these artists are honor-bound. Mwar.
2006-03-29 [kay-chan]: Last day for voting! Get yer vote in before you're too late to make a difference...! I'll be closing this poll about 10 PM my time, probably, because I'm a wimp and go to bed early.
2006-03-30 [Cia_mar]: well that's that eh?!?!!?.was fun!!!!
2006-03-30 [kay-chan]: :D Congrats to all participants for rocking my socks OFF! I haven't chosen my favorite yet because I've been too busy, but I'll have that and the winners badges up ASAP I promise!

2006-03-31 [Kuruni]: does someone want to enter my contest? i have nice prices, but most of all the idea is to have fun ^_^ see my house!
2006-03-31 [Jitter]: Yay! Congratulation
2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: COngratualtion
2006-03-31 [moira hawthorne]: This was an awesome contest! Wais Hail to everyone...
2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: I think the hail is speaking of the drink rather than hailing someone :P I like your version though ^^ it's wassail (at least in the songs that we did at our Madrical Feast for my show chior). ^^
2006-03-31 [moira hawthorne]: Wais Hail... and wassail are related in meaning... to your health... its a cheer... but its also a congrat... and the drink you drink as cheering...
2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: oh ^^ cool! That's good to know, I just figured I could imply it with a double meaning cuz wassail is prety tasty (warm apple cider ^_^)
2006-03-31 [moira hawthorne]: yes... yummy I use to make it at Yule... most old words have multible meanings...
2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: that's the beauty of languages ^_^
2006-03-31 [moira hawthorne]: speacial english! >.< its made up of 7 languages...
