2007-08-27 [Ghost the Hybrid]: me and a friend smoked hookah yesterday and we where at her place when she told her mother that we where going to smoke hookah she was like O.o "you're not going to smoke drugs are you?" it was kinda funny cous my parents wouldn't have let me in the house if i did try drugs so why use drugs then?

Lotta (she who was in charge of the boarding) smoked hookah with us on the grass sometimes the last week in school..XD

2007-08-27 [Sir. Robert]: lol...the one time I even tried to smoke was when I was drunk (which made me even sicker because I cant stand the smoke) I guess I never figured out the reason why someone would smoke in the first place...Is it relaxing?

2007-08-27 [Zab]: Cigarettes? No idea.. Hookah is pretty relaxing and it tastes good too..and you have lots of smoke to play with..XD

2007-08-27 [Sir. Robert]: I tried a couple of different flavored cigars but I felt so icky afterwards! ...part of the problem is I inhaled it straight into my lungs and I was breathing out smoke for about a minute afterwards! What makes it relaxing? (I have always wanted to blow a smoke ring!)

2007-08-27 [Zab]: Cigars and cigaretes are not flavored the same way as hookah tobacco..x_X First f all, cigs are like 98%tobacco and the rest is tar to make it burn, second, it burns.
Hookah tobacco are mostly molasses (syrup kinda) and not that much tobacco, and then flavour. And it's not burnt, only heated. It's much nicer to your throat. (at least I can smoke hookah for an entire eveninf without feeling bad, but after 2 cigs I can't talk)
Hooka's relaxing..not sure why, maybe the bubbling noise from the water, that you know it will last for almost an hour and you're sitting and chatting with your friends and just take a blow once in a while...

2007-08-27 [KnightAngel]: Exhale it and try and make smokerings or something else artistic, or just simply exhale it ^^' I remember a trick with a glass half with water and then smoke, another trick was to blow it out on the table making it look like fog, still can't do that one XD

2007-08-27 [Zab]: You can make smoke rings! :D I'm trying to practice making a small ring in through a big one.. or you can blow it into glasses (looks cool..x) or let it float on the table like a mini landscape of mist.. or blow it in peoples hair..
I know..I'm so easily amused..

2008-01-22 [professer sofa surfer]: this isnt really along the lines of what you lot are talking about but i wouldnt no as i only speek english so the last few comments are lost on me (apologies), but a little note..hookahs kick ass, i no u dont want comments out illegal drugs and stuff but in uk salvia divinorum is legal so i hope you dont mind me commenting on it, as hookahs are preferably used by people to smoke damp "baccy" it is best to use a torch lighter (intence flame lighter) to get the full spiritual effect. if its legal werever you are you can pick it up in your local head shop, little warning tho if you need to be in control of your mind its probly not for you. only use with people you trust and all that malarkey. peace and love to all hookah smokers.
