But there are also some who just say that it doesn't matter for them till the Guards or anybody else from the Crew don't get them. So I want to help to avoid this, if help is wanted.

2004-12-01 [EmJ Taylor]: When you say "Join", I am assuming you are talking about becoming a Patroller here on elftown? If I am correct, keep on reporting members and telling them about rules like you are doing. ^_^ Sounds like to me you are doing a pretty good job. I believe we DO need a few more patrollers here on Elftown. However, we always keep an eye out on those would-be patrollers for a long time before anyone decides to give them the position. You could perhaps post it in a public forum so some of the guards out there can hear your request. I am sure you could speak to [Sunrose]. She is very good in these matters. Regards.

2004-12-06 [Chalora]: The rules about uploading art say that you can't have an animation, even when it's small uploaded as art. But what if you link it from another place? Is that allowed?

2004-12-06 [Adnama]: You can't upload animations directly to Efltown because Elftown will make them non-moving, so the only way to put animations on Efltown is to link it from another place. I think they only way that animations are allowed on your house is when you make them completely yourself and if they aren't huge in file size. :3 I think you can put any animation up in a wiki though. Correct me if I'm wrong. :o

Those images don't belong here because: they slow down elftown's hardware and thus slow it down for every member AND we don't want those images here. Guards and other officials don't have time to go through houses, since they have many other tasks :)  (I deleted a comment that does not belong on this wiki)

If you manage to deal with the rule-breakers yourself then that's great too, but it's not patroller work. Lots of people do good things without titles or badges, and personally I hope people will continue doing good things because it's good and not because they hope to get a badge or title for it.

2005-02-04 [peura]: The Placebo banners are allowed on the wiki, but they shouldn't encourage people to put them in their houses since that is against the Uploading Art Rules. You can report anyone who puts them in their houses.
