2003-10-04 [Kaeirdwyn]: Anyone wanting to write or do artwork for The Herald would first need to be a guest submission because we need to know the level of committment future prospects are bringing to us. Some people would rather guest every couple of months, whereas others would love to just get right in and do 12 things at once. We need to first talk to you and take our time, get to know you and your abilities and your committment level that you show to us. Then we can decide together where best suited anyone applying for a position with us should be.

2003-10-18 [elftownsux]: I took a quick look at your competition page, and I think there are one or two things that could be clearer. I don't think you should leave it up to peoples discretion what size picture to give you. If it's a consistant rule you will have less problems with people sending you large files on the sly. The second one is that you should really have proper start and finish dates for any comp. I have found that having it a few days before you are due to publish the issue so you can get the poll ready is best.

We are now taking submissions and are desparatly in need of 2 or 3 good volunteers. Some volunteers may be made into permanent staff members, and will recieve a special non-official badge of sorts for their house. 2003-11-24 [Lerune]: We have had a lot of computer problems on our Web Master end and a few people with health problems as well as some pretty big crew changes, so we have had quite a delay. We are using the down-time to restructure the Herald and are planning on coming out with an improved Herald January 1st. Also, (surprise, surprise) Isilando and I have been working on a Mini-Herald, due out in December to further explain the delays and what to look forward to in January. ;0)

2004-01-24 [Lerune]: Well, actually, the HTML is finished -- in the midst of all the turmoil, we have changed webmasters, and [ButterflyFairy] is in charge of web design now. She, of course, had to build a whole new Herald and it has taken time. We expect the Herald this weekend, and trust me, what I have seen of it so far looks incredible. I would recommend that you message Butterfly though, as she might be able to use your help for future issues. And thanks so much for offering -- we appreciate the fact that people want to help us out. =0)
