2003-07-08 [krishna_erasmus]: We're now linked to the Town Square page.

2003-08-13 [Calico Tiger]: Figured this would be the easiest place to send all of you this message. Great work on the first issue!

2003-08-13 [Elisandra]: Hmm..I have a couple of suggestions for whoever does the actual coding for the pages. First of all, there is no padding on the sides, it is very difficult to read the beginning of each line as they kind of melt into the edge of the IE window (dunno about other browsers). Another thing, the colors chosen make reading very difficult. Bright yellow is not a good idea for a webpage background, an easier to read choice might be a light beige, or a pale yellow, either of which would look great with the brown text. To make it look newspapery-ish, even black text with an off-white background would look nice. On to happier sounding comments, it looks very nice otherwise, and the buttons are very

2003-08-13 [Elisandra]: well done, the only suggestion I could give there is to have them on the left side as people tend to read from left to right. But it has a nice layout. Ya'll did a great job for a first try, it just needs a little polishing!

2003-08-14 [Krazi]: The page is light beige or a color near that, Elis. I'm not certain how your browser's opperating but I've not had difficulty with the padding either... o.O

2003-08-14 [Nita]: I have some nasty comments about the markup (code, source, whatever). Shall I leave them here or bug someone (Isilando, I suppose) personally? :)

2003-08-16 [Krazi]: Whichever you want but unless you're offering suggesions, don't complain...just a warning. And, it may simply be your browser; this paper's new and we're still trying to work out all the kinks. Isilando did do a brilliant job considering, the time and resources he had not to mention obstacles we all had to go over to get to the point of publication. Those are just a few things to keep in mind when complain, but above all: It was our first issue. Soo...watch the nasty part, kk? ^__^

2003-08-16 [Nita]: I will try... ;)

2003-08-16 [angelic_lara]: Personally I think the paper has done really well, since it came from being just an idea (or in other words the creation of an over active imagination) to actually being something. Personally I say GREAT JOB EVERYONE! Love you all!

2003-08-16 [Silasire]: this is a really pointless comment but i think the correct phrase is actually "hear ye." more of a "listen you!" rather than "over here!"

2003-08-16 [angelic_lara]: Oh yes, oops my bad!

2003-08-17 [steamcastle]: can you use a 18 year old RPG-nerd for any thing here in The Town Herald, ?

2003-08-17 [Krazi]: Not quite sure about that. Any specialties? Drawin, Writings, and ideas of what you have to offer to the Herald?

2003-08-18 [steamcastle]: well Drawin is .. see for your self, I don't know. Writings well I am mild dyslexic. but I do have a reading program and I lige reading through thing (like GNU and GNU/Linux). The very essence of my soul do not demand that I be in the Herald, but can I ?.com on can I ¿?. I'll do as you say

2003-08-18 [Mordigen]: lol, well i'm dyslexic also, but i seem to manage in the herald--the only problem is we've been having people join and then never coming around, so were not so sure about taking in people unless we really really need them or they have a very specific thing they can add to it---got any ideas? we'd love to have more people, we've just learned to be more cautious is all

2003-08-18 [steamcastle]: so if I com op with an any ideas can I den? and when I join thing I stick with it just ask any one

2003-08-18 [Mordigen]: well for the most part our writers are covered, we still need some new artists, but if you have an idea of a new article/column that you think would be a good addition to the Herald, then yea, just message anyone of the Heralders or leave a comment here and we'll discuss your addition and then let ya know ^_^

2003-08-19 [xDyingx Valentinex]: any open postions?? preferably for art in any way.

2003-08-19 [Krazi]: We're trying not to let in a lot of new people, but there may be an opening, if there is someone will message you about it.

2003-08-19 [Isilando]: If anyone has an idea about an article and we don't have one already (or even we have - this is not a matter) can just send it and we'll try to publish it. Like a occasional writter ;)

2003-08-21 [Lioness2]: i'm not quite clear on this elftown crew thing on the profile...how do i become parts of the guard?

2003-08-21 [Mordigen]: your in the wrong wiki for that, lol, we have no clue--this is just the magazine wiki

2003-08-28 [Desiderata]: I know i'm biased because i'm part of the Herald crew....but i think this whole magazine rocks. I can't believe I have been hearing complaints. What is there to complain about people?

2003-09-02 [Nita]: Dear Herald makers... Can you think of a nice name for your Elftown title? (go to Suggestions forum and tell me)

2003-09-06 [jerrysugarav]: I'm sleepy...

2003-09-06 [Nita]: Go to My Day forum and tell us about it, then! ;)

2003-09-07 [NOnotME]: *waves*

2003-09-07 [shadowlotus]: Hello everyone.

2003-09-07 [SilverSeraph1291]: how do i get the world map thing on my house?

2003-09-07 [Nita]: This is NOT the place to ask for help. Go to the forums, people! :)

2003-09-07 [Adorelai]: Hello

2003-09-07 [Krazi]: Hi; this falls back to what Nita just said: GO TO THE FORUMS, people! This isn't an ask for help place and it's not a place to pop in and say "Hi". This is where you can post opinions and things PERTAINING to the Herald. If you have something else to say, TAKE IT TO THE FORUMS!

2003-09-07 [Sir Lucifer]: hello

2003-09-08 [miel]: hi

2003-09-08 [miel]: im new here

2003-09-08 [smf3862]: me2

2003-09-08 [Calico Tiger]: As was commented several times, this isn't the place to say hi. Go hang out in the forums or in the Chat if that's what you're interested in.

2003-09-09 [niee]: this is ging to be coool

2003-09-09 [Samerambo]: whats gonna be cool?

2003-09-09 [Byne]: Mwha HI IM NEW

2003-09-09 [Byne]: and im confused some one help me please

2003-09-09 [Byne]: ^(^-^)^

2003-09-10 [Calico Tiger]: Go click on the forums button and read thru the Elftown newbie questions. You'll get help there and you'll not be asking it where it's not meant to be asked ^_^

2003-09-10 [Calico Tiger]: I do have a question for the Heralders. Will there be a comics section. And if so, will you be accepting submissions from those who are only guest writers?

2003-09-10 [angelic_lara]: I suppose we will be, get in contact with [Lerune] if you're interested and she'll hook you up with a guest writing roll. Although these rolls take a lot of work, and they have to be taken seriously.

2003-09-10 [Calico Tiger]: Heh, I'm already writing a bunch of stuff for the Halflings section, this won't be much more ;)

2003-09-10 [angelic_lara]: Cool, see you there then!

2003-09-10 [KayuzaReborn_LS]: hi how is every one

2003-09-10 [Spirit Angel]: If I may, I would like to start a poetry corner in the Herald...</b>Missing: </b>

2003-09-11 [Demon69_LS]: is any body want to talkith to meith

2003-09-11 [Demon69_LS]: nicoli

2003-09-11 [KayuzaReborn_LS]: hey

2003-09-11 [KayuzaReborn_LS]: damn this chat

2003-09-11 [Lerune]: This is NOT chat. It is the Town Herald HEADQUARTERS as is stated above. Go to Mainstreet for a link to the chat area.

2003-09-11 [Calico Tiger]: I think the problem is that the Town Herald button is so close to the tiny "There is an Elftown chat outside of Elftown." message. And it has no big header like the others, so kinda looks like it's the chat button to those who don't know better.

2003-09-11 [Nita]: Or maybe it's because the Herald banner is the biggest clickable thing on Maistreet, so a lot of newbies end up here... :)
