Raiju smirked "simply trying to keep a level head with all the moving around we've been doing of late" he replied "and I wasn't trying to be a hero, I was simply fulfilling a promise I made to myself ten years ago"

Raven nodded "heroes aren't always all they're cracked up to be anyways" she grinned. "How long have you been traveling for again? I know it hasn't been long but you all seem pretty close for people who haven't known each other for too long"

"only a few days by my reckoning" Raiju replied as he thought about it "I guess since most of us don't really have a home to go back to it kinda made sense to stick together as a makeshift family" he then snickered "no matter how dysfunctional"

Raven laughed "is it like this a lot?" she asked curiously.

Will just stands there for a few minutes thinking about what he just done and then slowly walks back to town.

She looked at Will and then Raiju again "Sorry, I'll be right back, I'm going to make sure he's okay" she smiled, walking after Will. "Hey, sorry. I probably shouldn't have said anything, I just thought she knew" she said, feeling guilty. "But hey, I'm sure she'll get over it! You just have to make her listen, that's the only way she'll talk to you. Tell her why you said what you said. Although I don't really know how you'd freeze up and say something like that" she smirked. She saw a dollar bill on the ground and picked it up "Lucky day!" she grinned, stuffing it in her pocket.

Raiju nodded "believe it or not"

“I`ll be fine and yes I will talk to her after she cools down,”Will said to Raven.“And what promise did you mean exactly Raiju?”

Raiju looked at Will "I thought it was obvious" he replied "to find out what happened to you and if need be rescue you or avenge you"

“Oh right how could I forget that,”Will said with a chuckle.

"Awww, you guys are so cute!" Raven grinned.

“Man I`ve forgot how annoying you can be sometime sis,”Will smirked at Raven.“But it is good to have you around again.”

Raven laughed "You better watch what you say to me or I'll kick your butt" she smirked.

Raiju chuckled, it was good to see them together again.

Raven saw Draven talking to a girl outside of the bar and smirked "Well pardon me, I've got a girl to knock off" she said, walking off and up to Draven and the girl. "Heyy, wanna see my scar? I just got it yesterday, it's still pretty grisly" she grinned, going to lift her shirt up a bit but the girl he was talking to looked appalled and left quickly.

Draven looked over at Raven "How'd you get it?" he asked.

"I didn't" Raven laughed "I was just having some fun with her" she grinned.

Raiju snickered "some things never change" he muttered quietly to no one in particular.

“Oh really you kick my butt thats funny,”Will said to Raven.“I`m still faster and stronger than you.”

"Yeah yeah, you maybe be faster and stronger but I have my ways" Raven smirked.

Katherine sat in a small restaurant, her arms crossed and saying nothing to Kai who was winking at a girl from across the table. "So much for ignoring every other girl to make me feel better" she muttered, kicking him hard under the table.

Kai glared "Ow! That hurt! It's not my fault I'm so charming!"

Katherine rolled her eyes "You're nothing but pathetic and stupid" she said, throwing the napkin near her in his face and walking to find a place to get a room.

Kai watched her leave and was going to go after her when the girl called him over to sit with her. He happily grinned and sat next to her "Kai" he said.
"Danielle" she giggled, putting her hand out. Kai grinned, taking her hand and kissing it. "What a lovely girl"

Raiju shook his head as he walked away "like I said" he said under his breath as he prepared to take a walk for a while.

“Oh really you kick my butt thats funny,”Will said to Raven.“I`m still faster and stronger than you.”

"and more humble" Raiju added sarcastically as he left.

“I`m going out to hunt. Raven do you want to come or stay here and talk to Draven,”Will said to his sister.

Raven grinned "Well, this is awkward. Stay with a cute guy or go with my brother whom I just found today"

Katherine walked in, taking out the small amount of money she still had left "I'll also be paying for others under the names Draven, Kai, Will, Raven, and Raiju" she knew they most likely didn't have money on them.
"Alright, if they happen to come in, we'll let them know that they have a room already" the woman at the desk smiled, giving Katherine her room to her key.
"Thank you" Katherine sighed, walking up to her room and opening the door, closing it behind her. She set her things down and plopped down on the bed.

“Its your choice sis,”Will said as he walked into the woods.

Raven looked at Draven and then ended up walking out with Will "I suppose I can come with you for a while" she smirked "So Raiju's a funny guy, I can see why you two get along so well" she grinned.

“Yea he is. So should I avoid going back to the other town for awhile because of what I did there,”Will said to Raven as he shifted to his wolf form.

Raven laughed "And because it's back from where we already walked so it'd be a silly thing to do" she smirked. "Do you hunt out here in the woods a lot?" Raven asked.

“Yes I do. It reminds me of hunting with dad and I feel at piece out here,”Will said as he tracked some deer.

Raven shuddered "not me, I always get restaurant food, unless I absolutely have to hunt" she said, looking at the deer.

“We can always go back if you want,”Will said as he stopped.

"Oh no, you're fine!" Raven laughed "You can hunt the door and then afterwards we can go back" she smiled.

“Ok I`ll make it quick. Can you get a fire going so I`ll be able to cook the meat,”Will said as he went after the deer.

Raven nodded and made a fire for Will, waiting beside it.

Will found the deer and in a few seconds had the deer killed and skinned. Will brings the meat back and sets it up on sticks over the fire so it can cook.

"Wow, you're very fast paced with this" Raven smirked.

“yea I know. I`d rather eat food that I`ve fixed myself if I had the choice,”Will said checking the meat.

"I understand, that way you also know it's fully cooked and the way you like it" Raven replied with a smile.

“Did you happen to meet two werewolves by the name of Toby and Jared,”Will asked Raven.

"nope" Raven smiled "Are they friends of yours?"

“In a way yes. If we ever head back that way I`ll introduce you to them,”Will said as he pull the meat from the fire and handed some to Raven.

Raven smiled "Thanks!" she said, taking a bite "Wow, this is really good meat!" she stood up "Almost ready to leave?" she smiled.

Will finishes his meat and puts the fire out.“Yea lets head back,”Will said to Raven.

Raven smiled and started to walk back to the village, seeing Draven walk up to them.

"Well, when you guys are ready to get a room later, apparently Katherine's already paid for everyone so you can just go in and get your room" Draven smiled.

Raven gasped "Aww, that's so sweet! I have to go thank her!" she said, going to the inn and making sure to hurry so she could go back in time to hang out with Draven. She got Katherine's room number and knocked.

Katherine answered the door "Oh, hi, is everything alright?" she smiled.

"I wanted to thank you! You're so sweet, I can't believe you spent your money on me! You're so nice!" Raven said, hugging Katherine.

Katherine laughed, hugging her back "You're very welcome, Raven"

"And I interrupting anything?" Raven teased, remembering she was supposed to be with Kai.

"Interrupting anything?" Katherine asked, then figuring out what she meant "Ohhh no, no. Kai's with some other girl, can't say I blame him. He can't stay with one girl for too long" she smirked. "it's alright though, I'm probably just going to go to bed"

"So soon?! But-but it's not even bed time yet! You should hang out with me! Well, I'm hanging out with your brother" Raven laughed "But you can hang out with me as I hang out with him!"

Katherine laughed "Well, I guess" she smiled, walking out of her room and down the stairs with Raven.

Raven made her way out to Draven "Hi! Is it alright if we hang out with you?"

Draven chuckled "Of course not, I'd be honored to share the night with you two" he smiled.

Raven shook her head "Oh no do you don't, the night is young, let's go!" she said, grabbing his arm and forcing him up.

Katherine faked a yawn "I'm actually pretty tired. I think I'll leave, goodnight" she said, walking back to her room.

Raven watched her leave and then looked at Will "Good going" she smirked teasingly. "Alright, let's go!" Raven smiled, walking down the street.

“Raven you go ahead and have fun. I`m going to try to talk to Katherine ok,”Will said to Raven.

Raven smiled "Alright, good luck!" she said, waving to him before walking off with Draven and going into a shop.

Will walks up to Katherine`s room and knocks on the door.“Katherine, we need to talk. Can you please open the door,”Will said standing in the hallway.

Katherine had put on her nightgown and was about to go to bed when she heard Will knock at her door. She walked over to the door and opened it slightly "What do you want?" she glared.

“I just wanted to talk and to tell you why I said what I said to Raven. I had asked your brother if I could date you last night and he said no so I decided not to push the issue. So when when Raven asked me if I liked you I said as a friend because Draven was there and I didn`t want to get beat down by him. I really do love you and I can`t see my life with out you,”Will said trying to hold back his tears.“I`m so sorry that I hurt you.”

Katherine frowned, suddenly feeling terrible when she saw him crying. "I'm so sorry, Will, please don't cry" she hugged him " And don't be sorry, I understand why you said what you did now" she smiled a bit "You really think Draven could beat you down? You're stronger than him" she smirked, lightening the mood.

“Maybe. But I do have some good news though, Raven likes your brother,”Will said with a smile.

"What? since when?" Katherine asked, a bit shocked.

“Since today and she told me herself,”Will said to Katherine.

"Huh. That's odd, I wonder what she sees in him" Katherine smirked. "Does Draven know?"

“Yes, she had me to tell him and I think its good that she likes him,”Will said with a smile.

"I think it is as well" Katherine agreed "She's a very sweet girl and I can honestly say that Draven treats women very well, so they seem like a great match" she smiled.

“Now I wonder where Kai is at cause I want to have a little fun,”Will said as he makes 2 small fireballs in his hand and starts to spin them around.

"He's most likely with that girl at the restaurant still" Katherine replied "By all means, though, have your fun with him. He deserves it"


“I think I will. I`ll see you later ok,”Will said as he started to walk down the stairs.

Katherine nodded and closed her door, getting into bed and going to sleep.

Lucille ran up to Raiju once she'd spotted him "Raiju!" she grinned "My aunt came for a visit and offered me to come here with her for a few days, I thought I'd come in case I'd run into you!" she noticed how much of a stalker she sounded and then laughed nervously "Not to sound weird" she smirked.

Will walks out of the inn starts to walk to the restaurant to have a little 'fun' with Kai before going to bed.

Kai noticed Will when he exited the restaurant with Danielle "Hey there, Will, whatcha up to?" he grinned.

“Looking for you,”Will said as he made a fireball and had it to hover above Kai`s head.“Just don`t look up ok.”

Danielle gasped in shock when she saw the fireball above Kai's head "Kai, there's ball of fire over your head!"

Kai muttered with a sigh "Will, are you really this bored that you had to come down and bother me?"

Maybe. I`ll see ya later,”Will said as he started walking again.

Kai curiously watched him leave and looked at Danielle who looked frightened. "What?"

"That was a ball of fire over your HEAD!" Danielle shrieked.

"So?" Kai chuckled

"So, that's not normal that's what! I'm leaving!" Danielle said, walking off.

"Thanks a lot, Will!" Kai called off with a mutter, walking to the bar.

"hey Will, in here!" Raven called as she and Draven looked around in the weapon shop. "Did you get everything straightened out?" she asked, picking up a small dagger and looking at it.

Draven looked over at Will out of the corner of his eye without making it obvious. He'd apologized to him and he meant what he said but he still didn't want Will with his sister.

“Everything's fine now. So what are you to up to,”Will said walking into the weapon shop.

"Good! I'm glad to hear it. Well, not much right now. I just thought I'd come in here and look around for fun, they have a lot of cool things here!" she smiled.

“Yea but I think that this is more suited for you,”Will said holding a katana that is slightly smaller than his.

"Oh, this is really nice! But, I'm not a weapon kind of girl" Raven laughed "Although, I do want to get it still, just because it's cool" she grinned, taking the katana.

Draven sighed "I'm going to sleep now, you two have fun" he left the room and went to the inn.

Raven watched him leave "Good night!" she called out, frowning a bit.

“If you remember neither was I until I met Raiju,”Will said while looking at some daggers.

"That is true" Raven laughed, looking at the clock in the shop "So, do you always stay up pretty late?" she smirked.

“Not if I can help it. I`ve been having dreams about the attack on our village more and more and I don`t understand why,”Will said to Raven.

"You're most likely just not over it yet, it's pretty traumatizing and you don't just get over something like that, even if it has been years" Raven replied. "Maybe try to think of happier things when you sleep, try really hard. It's what I do and it personally works for me" she smiled.

“I`ll try to sis,”Will said walking to the exit.

Raven smiled "Good, as long as you try" she said, walking out. "You know, I'm actually going to bed now, a big comfy bed sounds really nice right now. Goodnight!" she said, walking to the inn and getting her room number before going to sleep.

Will hears the sounds of a fight going on in the bar and decides to take a look. Will just stands in the doorway as he watched Kai getting his butt kicked.

Kai slammed the guy against the wall, grinning and punching him hard in the gut and then throwing him across the bar. He chuckled, it was a fun and easy fight. "Well, I'm off to bed now" he winked at the people in the bar, stunned by his power and not knowing he was actually a demon. He went to the inn and went to sleep.

Will leaves the bar and heads to the inn to get his room and key and and goes to sleep.

Raiju chuckled "no not weird at all" he replied with a smile "it's good to see you again Lucille" he said softly to her.

"It's good to see you as well" Lucille smiled, happy that he was as happy to see her as she was to see him. She looked back at her aunt who was still in the bakery. "Do you eat many sweets?" she asked.

"I've indulged in the occasional sweet from time to time" Raiju replied airily.

Lucille turned to hear her aunt call for her "Well, I've got to go but here's the address that we're staying at. It's my aunt's cottage here and we're celebrating her birthday tomorrow" she smiled, handing Raiju a piece of paper with the address of the cottage. "Goodnight!" she said, running back to her aunt and leaving to go home for the night.

Raiju smiled as he read the paper 'maybe I should go' he thought to himself as he continued his walk.

Will finds that he can`t sleep and decides to leave the inn and take a walk around town.
