“You're probably right but why single me out?.I mean at that time you were teaching what you know about swords and hand to hand combat,” Will said flexing his fingers.

Raiju shrugged (or the tiger's equivalent anyway) "right place, wrong time?" he guessed "they wanted a Werewolf and I guess they thought you were a prime specimen"

“Maybe so but now their going to pay plus now we`re going to have to keep a lookout for the guards. I'm sure their looking for us now,”Will said looking out of the cave.

Katherine stopped when she heard a small twig snap and didn't have to even look back to make her assumption of who it was "And who exactly are you?" she asked, keeping her gaze on a doe.

Kai grinned "Well, I could be your worst nightmare or your best friend, depending on which path you take with me" he answered simply, walking up to her.

Katherine smirked, turning around to him "You sure are full of yourself, thinking you're so tough"

Kai shrugged "just stating the truth" he replied, still grinning.

"Well, I don't really care to be your best friend and I most certainly am not afraid of you being my worst nightmare. That little line may intimidate some but not me" Katherine smirked, walking off from him.

Kai chuckled "Wow, you certainly are full of fire, aren't you?" he asked, walking back to the cave with her.

When Katherine arrived, she sat down at the end of the cave singling herself from the rest and opened up one of her bag's to make sure she'd gotten everything.

Kai sat down towards the front with the rest "So, what are we talking about? and who's getting the food? I'm hungry!" he grinned, patting his chest.

“Well I guess Raiju and I can take care of the food,Will said while shifting into his wolf form.

Raiju nodded as he got up and followed Will, his senses alert for signs of possible food....or trouble.

Will looks around and spots a group of deer.“Do you want to get the deer or shall I?”Will says crouching.

Raiju smiles and whispers "go for it, you've been cooped up so long, let's see if your skills got rusty"

Will gives a little chuckle before drawing a katana use using his vampiric speed is on top of the deer herd and has them killed in a few seconds.“how`s that for being cooped up for 10 years,”Will said putting away the sword.

Raiju smirked "you missed one" he replied as he see a four point buck running off into the bushes.

Will growled as he chased after the buck grabbing it and breaking its neck before carrying it back to where Raiju is standing.“Good eye I didn't even see this one,” Will said with a chuckle.

Raiju snickered "c'mon 'eagle eye' let's get this meat back to the caves" he said as he changed to his normal human form (regular clothes, not the guard outfit) and hefted about three of the deer onto his shoulders and hauled them back to the cave.

Will nods as he picks up the rest and follows Raiju back to the cave. “So tell me something Raiju, what did you do after I told you to get out of the village so the humans wouldn't catch you too?” Will asked looking at his friend.

Raiju's face darkened "I went into the nearest town and hid in human form" he began "I waited a few hours before making my way back to the village, where I began to search for survivors, I found one of the humans poking around and... 'questioned' him" the way he said 'questioned' implied that his methods were anything but gentle "once he told me where they took their hostage I flash-fried him and headed out to the location he mentioned, when I got there I learned it was just a relay point, you were already transported to another location, when i tried to get the location out of the thugs I learned they were just hired for that spot, they weren't informed of where their cargo was sent, so I leveled the place and began the ten year hunt to locate you and any other survivors from the attack"

“I`m glad that you was ok. I've been having dreams of that night and it made me more determined to escape that place and find you,” Will said thinking about the dream again.

"I'm just sorry it took 10 years to find you" Raiju replied apologetically "like I said, they were good at covering their tracks"

"It's OK Raiju, I knew that you would come and find me," Will said smiling. "After all, for 7 years we did make a pretty good team."

Raiju smiled slightly "well..." he said slyly "you were okay after I finished breaking you in" he finished with a small chuckle.

“True, Remember that nine tailed fox demon we came across being attacked,” Will said looking at the ground. “I remember it saying that it was giving me a gift but it wouldn't come out until I was 24. What did it mean by that?”

Raiju shrugged "who knows" he replied "Fox Demons live for tricks and deception, and since this was the the Nine-tailed, whatever 'gift' it gave you will most likely be one that will cause chaos, the only question is, for whom?"

Kai showed up standing in front of them " what is taking you guys so long? We've been waiting for an hour! an hour! and the last time I ate was about 10 hours ago!" he complained.

“Calm down and take some of these deer Kai,”Will said as he continued to walk to the cave.

Raiju rolled his eyes "relax, as you can plainly see we've got plenty of fresh venison for everyone, we just need to get this meat cooked" he cast a casual glance at Kai "unless you'd rather have it raw?"

Kai shrugged "Eh, I'd rather have it cooked, to be honest" he replied, sitting down. "Want me to make the fire? or do you guys have that covered as well?"

“Go ahead I`m going inside to rest a bit,”Will said walking in to the cave.

Raiju drops the deer in a pile "you get the fire going while I start prepping the meat" he says as he sits down and draws his sword and proceeds to strip the skin from the meat "it's only fair that we all help to prepare the meal, it's more satisfying that way, and it keep everyone busy" he explains.

Katherine shuddered in disgust "I can't watch this, is there something else I can do?" she asked, looking outside and way from the torn up deer.

Kai chuckled "Aw hun, you're a vampire, you should be used to this"

Draven shook his head "She just drinks the blood, I've always been the one to cut up the meat. She's squeamish" he laughed as well.

Raiju smiled "you could get more firewood or fetch some water from the stream?" he suggested, feeling sympathetic to the girls lack of interest in his gory task by offering her a choice of tasks that would help her to avoid watching and keep her mind off of where her meal came from.

Katherine nodded "Thank you, I'll be right back" she said, grabbing a couple of things out of her bag and leaving.

Kai watched her leave "Eh, I say we teach her to handle it, that's the only way to get past something you don't like is handling it head first. For example, if you're scared of snakes, what you do is you force that person to hold one"

Draven raised an eyebrow "You're terrible, you're not forcing my sister to do anything like that she'll be traumatized"

Kai shook his head "not really. When I was a kid, I hated dogs and my friends locked me up with a few big ones and let me tell ya I was scared but I also ended up liking dogs after. They were actually pretty nice"

“Trust me you haven`t had cooked venison until you`ve had Raiju`s,”Will said as he skinned his pile of deer.

"if we had a few vegetables and a big pot I could make a stew" Raiju says to himself as he continues to go about stripping the meat from the carcass "but given the circumstances, roasted will do just fine"

Katherine came back with some water and put it down beside Raiju, singling herself again and going back to the far end of the cave.

Kai looked at Will "I'm sure he does" he agreed, putting on some more wood as the fire was growing.

Will finishes skinning his pile of deer and stands up. “If you need me I`ll be over here,” Will say walking to a tree before sitting down and closing his eyes.

Draven nodded "I'm going to go out as well for a small walk, I'll be back soon" he stated, walking off.

Raiju nodded as he concentrated, now slicing the meat into chunks and skewering them onto sticks before placing them over the fire on angles so he can make multiple 'kabobs' at the same time.

Kai watched Will sit outside and looked over at Raiju "You're pretty good at cooking" he commented. He saw a spider and had it crawl on his hand. He then lowered his voice to Raiju "Raiju, you seem like a fun guy, what do you say we have some fun?"

As Will is resting he hears a voice in his head. 'I give you my powers and my demon form so you can help you friends. This is my gift to you for saving my life.' Will`s body begins to change from his wolf body into his new nine tailed fox demon body.

Raiju looked at the spider and then at Kai and gave him a small smile, but said nothing.

Kai shrugged "Suit yourself" he grinned, he walked up to Katherine who was playing with her hair. "Hey miss antisocial, wanna come over there and hang out with us?"

Katherine smirked "I'm fine where I am thanks" she said, not looking up.

Kai grinned and held out the spider to her.

Katherine stood up and against the cave's wall. "You keep that thing away from me!"

Kai chuckled "What, you mean this?" he asked, throwing it on her.

The spider started to crawl up her dress, making its way to her face.

Katherine screamed and ran out of the cave and into the woods, wiping at herself to get it off.

Kai started laughing hard that a few tears started to come down his face, he looked over at Will "Whoa, what happened to him? He looks weird" he noticed his nine tail demon form and was confused.

Raiju looked up from the fire at Katherine "you alright?" he asked with a look of concern.

"oh she's fine, it's just a spider" Kai laughed

Katherine sighed loudly in relief when she didn't see it anymore, she looked at Raiju "Yes, thank you" she stated then glared at Kai "You imbecile! I could kill you!"

Kai grinned, noticing the spider on her back, sitting still from fright. "Well, I guess you could, but it's just a spider, the only way you can get over your fear is to conquer it head on"

"you're stupid" Katherine rolled her eyes.

Will raises his head and looks at Kai. “What do you mean I look weird,” Will growls at him.

Raiju rolled his eye's "there's an old saying, "You're bigger Than Your Fear"" Raiju added "stated simply, you're fears are inside you, and since you're bigger than anything inside you, you are obviously bigger than than your fears, and if you're bigger than it, you can conquer it" he then casts a quick glance at Kai "though I doubt one can do that when exposed to the 'Burlap sack' method" he then turns back to the fire and lightly tests the meat with his thumb and forefinger.

Kai laughed and walked out and patted Will's shoulder "I didn't mean anything bad by it, chill. Man, you're all pretty jacked up today"

Katherine sighed again and walked into the cave once more.

Kai walked over to her and put his arms around her in a hug "I'm sorry" he stated. "Can I have a little acceptance kiss?"

"Of course not!" Katherine replied.

"Alright, worth a try I guess" Kai grinned, looking at Raiju "is it done yet?"

Will notices the nine tails laying around him. 'Oh man this is what that demon meant,' thought Will as he looks at his friends.

Raiju smiled "just about ready" he replied calmly as he examined the meat.

Will shifts back into his human form and walks over to Raiju. “Did I just turn into a Nine tailed fox demon,” Will asked looking at the fire.

"Yes, yes you did" Raiju replied simply "guess we now know what our furry friend gave you huh?" he added as he handed Will one of the freshly cooked kabobs "come and get it" he said to the others.

“Guess so,”Will said as he takes the kabobs and takes a bite.“these are better than last time we had venison. You`ve gotten better.”

"I'm not hungry, thank you anyways" Katherine answered, sitting back in her spot.

Kai grinned "Awesome" he stated at Raiju's comment, having a piece. He looked at Will for a moment. He couldn't believe he was 3 different races all in one. It was pretty cool but odd to him at the same time.

Draven walked back with some more wood, placing it near the entrance of the cave and adding a couple of pieces, taking his share "Thank you, both of you" he said to Will and Raiju, looking at Katherine. "You're not going to eat?"

"No, I'm not hungry" Katherine replied.

"Well, you could at least come sit with us instead of being over there alone" Kai suggested with a smirk.

"I'm fine" Katherine stated, hoping to end the conversation.

“It's no problem Draven just glad to help,”Will said before taking another bite.

Draven smiled politely, these two guys although undoubtedly strong were really nice. Most people wouldn't think so, which just goes to show you not to judge a book by its cover.

Katherine suddenly stood up, glaring at all of them as if they'd done something wrong. "How dare you guys call me that! I may have been a shameless flirt but who cares, there's nothing wrong with that! and you Draven, you especially! You're all I have left of family!" with that, she stormed out.

Draven looked shocked "What..."

Kai laughed a bit "I think someone's lost her marbles as the humans say"

Draven looked at him "I'm not so sure. She's been acting strange since we left"

Kai grinned "Maybe they just spiked the meat" he then frowned a bit "But then they didn't share it with me!"

Draven rolled his eyes "I doubt that"

“I`ll go get her,”Will says going after Katherine at full speed.'Man what is going on today,' Will thinks to his self as he catches up to Katherine.

Katherine glared when she saw Will "You're cruel and if you come any closer I swear I'll drain the life out of you! I'm stronger than you all may think which is obviously not much!" she glared.
