"Thank you, Will, I appreciate that" Draven smiled as he grabbed his sister and lay her down gently.

Katherine still feeling woozy looked around "Where's mother? Is she gone? or-is she dead, Draven?"

Draven frowned a bit "She's dead Katherine, she's been dead for a long time"

Katherine nodded, agreeing with his answer, feeling that it had to be real. She then looked at Will. "Will? you love me, don't you?" she asked. Part of her felt like he was in love with her but something in her mind was also telling her that it wasn't real. She was terribly confused.

Draven looked at Will then "What? Did you tell her you loved her? You hardly know her!" he replied.

Kai chuckled "Hey, she is attractive"

Draven glared at her "Don't say that about my sister, and being attractive has nothing to do with love" he said, ignoring Kai who sat down to eat some more food.

“No i told her that I would protect the both of you and give my life if need be,”Will shifted in to his human form.“And Kai stop bugging her unless you want to go flying into a lake understand.”

"You're not her boyfriend, I'll do as I please" Kai replied, taking another bite of his food and winked at Katherine.

Katherine sighed and closed her eyes, falling into a sleep where her mind started to slowly work and heal back to what it was.

Kai looked over his way "What? It's true, if a girl's not taken, she's free to go after" he grinned with a shrug. "So you really have nothing to say about that" he crossed his legs comfortably and put his arms behind his head, closing his eyes and relaxing.

Draven was busy putting on more wood for the fire to pay attention to them.

Will just shakes his head and lets out a sigh. 'Today has been a long day and for the first time i feel free in a long time'Will think to him self as he closes his eyes.

That night, around 2 in the morning, Katherine woke up, finding herself in a cave. She was confused about where she was and who these people were, looking at Raiju, Kai and Will. She couldn't remember anything except that there had been a lock down at the ward and then she slightly remembered seeing Raiju and Will beating the guards off and helping them escape. She didn't remember much else, though. She stood up and walked outside, exploring where she was, careful not to wake anyone up as she ventured into the woods.

Will hears Katherine walking away and follows her.“Are you feeling better,”Will asked stepping from behind a tree.

Katherine looked behind her to see Will and smirked "To be honest, I'm confused. I don't exactly know where I am or who you are. But you seem like a nice guy so I don't exactly feel like I need to attack you" with that she laughed. She studied him, all 3 of the guys she didn't know seemed cute.

“My name is William Blackfire and your safe. The ward is no longer hunting us,”Will said with a kind look on his face.

Katherine extended her hand to him "I'm Katherine" she replied. "I'm certainly happy to hear that, I've been stuck in there for far too long. But, now that I'm out I suppose I can go my own way now" she said, looking up at the moon. It was beautiful and she hadn't seen it in so long, it was so nice to see it again.

“Same here i`ve been there since i was 14. Went in there a half dead werewolf and came out a werewolf/vampire hybrid,”Will said looking at the moon.“but now i`m able to turn i to a nine tailed fox demon so i really don`t know what to call myself now.”

"Well, that's quite a story, you sound like a really interesting guy, William Blackfire" Katherine grinned. She then sighed with a smile "Well, I'm going to grab my things and leave before my brother wakes up. I'm 22 in human years so I don't see a reason to stick with him any longer" she smirked "I'm happy I got to meet you, William, you take care" she said, leaving for the cave.

“There`s others out there that needs our help. I`ve seen the way you fight and i`d like it if you would stay,”Will said watching her leave.“I didn't risk my life trying to save you from what that doctor did just to see you walk away.”Will drops down on both knees weak from both injections he was shot with once from the breakout and the other from the woods fight.

Katherine stood where she was when she heard him continue talking, listening to what he was saying and then she heard a sound as if he'd fallen. She turned to see him on his knees and quickly hurried to him and kneeled down to him "Are you alright?" she asked, worried. She felt his forehead which seemed fine but he obviously wasn't. "I'm so sorry, I don't know what to do in situations like this" she frowned.

“Its ok I just need to rest. I've pushed myself harder today than I have another time,”Will says as he falls to sleep.

Katherine looked around her, knowing she couldn't possibly bring him back to the others. So to make sure he stayed safe she ended up leaning against the tree, thinking to herself about things. She felt a bit cold with the breeze that came through and since she was still kind of awake, she ended up building a fire close to them. When that was done, she yawned and stretched her arms out and fell asleep as well.

Will wakes up when the sunlight hits his eyes.“Man that was a interesting birthday yesterday,”Will says to him self.“at least we all are safe.”

Katherine turned to her side, feeling for blankets and grabbing at some leaves instead. When she noticed that she didn't feel a blanket on her, she opened her eyes and looked at the sun which she put her hand over her eyes to block. Annoyed she turned over to look at Will and smiled "Are you feeling any better?" she asked.

“Yes i am thank you,”Will said getting up.“Last night was the first time I used my demon form. I usually go with my fists or my swords.”

"Well, that's certainly something to celebrate" Katherine winked, kissing him on the cheek and getting up to leave when Kai stood before her. "Hey, my turn" he grinned, grabbing her around her waist and kissing the side of her lips. "I would kiss you on your lips but you'd probably kill me" he chuckled.

"With the way you grabbed me there I should" Katherine smirked "but you seem friendly so I'll let it pass" she grinned "So, I'm guessing I know you and you're not some stranger who just likes to go up and grab girls?"

"Oh yeah, you know me. We're friends you and I, buuut we're working on becoming more" Kai chuckled with a grin.

"Well you certainly don't spare time" Katherine laughed, walking past him and to the direction of the cave where she was before.

Kai looked over at Will "What were you guys doing out here? I woke up this morning and decided I'd try and find you"

“I heard her walk off last night and i went to see if she was feeling better and I kinda passed out,”Will said looking at Kai.

Kai nodded, putting an arm around Will's shoulder "Man to man, next time someone passes out with her, it's me, okay?" he grinned, walking into the cave after her.

Draven stood up when he saw his sister "Hello Katherine, feeling better now?"

"Yes, I actually am" Katherine smiled, looking at her bags and going over, looking through them. She picked one up and went for the woods "I'll be right back, I need to bathe and change really quick" she answered, walking off again.

Draven nodded and looked at Kai who watched after her "Don't you even think of it" he said seriously.

Kai grinned "What, me? Nah, I wouldn't do that. Will's the one that passed out with her" he chuckled.

Draven looked at Will "Ah, so that's where the two of you were. Are you alright then?"

"he's fine" Kai answered for him.

Draven raised an eyebrow "Okay, well I wasn't asking you"

Katherine ended up using the lake to bathe and when she was done, she dried off with a single towel that she had in her bag as well and put on a new silk dress that was alike to the ones she always wore and walked back to the cave.

“Yea I`m fine just pushed myself to hard yesterday. Oh and we are free now the ward is`t going to come after us again,”Will said looking at Draven.“But it doesn`t mean that others won`t be as lucky. So are you with me in stopping the ward once and for all.”

"Sure" Draven smiled to Will "The rest deserve a chance as well"

Katherine walked up and Kai looked at her "So, what do you say you and I leave? We can travel the word, cause some chaos for people" he grinned.

Katherine laughed "as tempting as your offer sounds, if I were to leave I'd be going by myself. But I'm not so sure, William here wants me around. So it's something to think about"

"What do you mean 'think about'?" Draven asked "Of course you're not leaving, especially not alone, you're too young!"

"Oh I am not, I'm old enough, you just need to learn to let go" Katherine smirked. "Well, I'm off to get some blood now, I'm starving" she said, leaving.

Draven watched her leave and sighed "I really don't know how I'm supposed to let her leave by herself..."

Kai shrugged "I could always watch after her" he grinned.

"To be honest, Kai, the way you drool over women I'd trust her by herself than with the likes of you"

Kai dramatically put his hand to his heart "That hurt" he faked a frown then stretched, popping some muscles. "I'll stick around with you if she doesn't though, Will, and we know Draven will and so will Raiju obviously so at least if she doesn't decide to, you've still got us 3, it's not so bad"

“That's good to know. I`m going to head to the remains of my village to see if there is anything we can use,”Will says walking out of the cave. “Your more than welcome to come along if ya`ll want.”

Kai nodded "Alright, I'll join" he replied.

"I think I will as well" Draven stood up.

Katherine had her fill of blood and promptly went to the cave afterwards, seeing them all standing "Are you all leaving, then?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so" Draven said, looking at her "Are you coming?"

Katherine shrugged "I think so, someone's going to have to look after you" she answered jokingly with a grin, grabbing her things.

Draven didn't say anything but he was both relieved and happy she'd agreed to come along. He was also happy his sister was back to normal again, thanks to William.

"Where are we going, then?" Katherine asked Will.

“We are going to whats left of my village,”Will said shifting to his wolf form.“I need to see if there is anything there that we can use.”

Katherine nodded "Understandable" she said, feeling pretty bad for Raiju and Will. They'd lost people they cared about and she definitely knew how to relate. Although she couldn't help but wonder if this would make them feel better or worse. She kept her mouth shut and started walking.

Will arrives at the hill that over looks what is left of his village. 'After 10 years I`m home,'thought Will as he looks for his fathers armory building. “This is where I was born, and as Raiju said there isn`t much left,”Will said walking to the only building left standing.

Katherine frowned, putting her hand on his shoulder comfortingly "I'm sorry" she said, knowing that even though it wasn't her fault, she still felt horrible for him, for both of them.

Kai looked around "This place is a dump" he muttered "I'm bored, I say we move on"

Draven glared over at Kai "You have no respect"

Kai shrugged "Who cares? People die, it's what happens. Sure it sucks that this happened but it's not like it'll make you feel better to go somewhere you know something terrible has happened"

"Well maybe it's closure for him" Katherine replied.

Kai yawned. "Okay" he said, shutting his mouth since he was getting ganged up on.

“The reason that I came back here is inside this building,”Will said opening the door to the armory.“ Inside here is the last sword my father made for me but never had the chance to give it to me. just look for a katana with a solid black blade.”

They'd all nodded and when Katherine found it she pointed it out, feeling it only right that Will be the one to grab it. "Here it is" she said with a smile, she walked out for a moment, breathing in the fresh air.

Kai walked out with her and Draven looked over to Will. "Is there anything else you needed?" he asked helpfully.

“Not that I know of,”Will said as he picked up the sword and hooked it on his side.“We should get moving to the next town. We should get prepared if we are going to put a end to the ward once and for all.”

Draven nodded and went outside with the others, letting them know that they were going to be moving.

Katherine started walking, not fast but slowly, taking her time.

Kai looked over at Katherine and the rest of them. "So, let's get to know each other better, I'll pick the topic, you all answer. So, Katherine, what's your love life like? any ex's?" he grinned.

Katherine laughed "I don't have a love life. I flirt once in a while but it doesn't mean anything, love's just not for everyone" she shrugged.

Draven looked shocked "Katherine how can you say that? Of course you'll find someone to love. I know you're my sister but you are beautiful and you also have a very good heart."

Katherine rolled her eyes with a smirk "I'm glad you think so" she said, even if she didn't totally agree with it. "Plus, there aren't a lot of vampires around, especially men. So, if you ever find a nice looking vampire guy, you send him my way" she winked.

Draven had to agree with her, there weren't many male vampires around these parts. "Well maybe it doesn't have to be a vampire" he suggested.

Katherine looked over at him "I guess" she shrugged, moving a strand of hair from her face and walking ahead of every one else.

Kai grinned, elbowing Will "Ya hear that? it doesn't have to be a vampire, which means I'm fair game" he said proudly. "What about you Will, you got a love life?"
