The man fell on his back, he was in pain but he wasn't about to show it. "You blasted mongrel!" he growled at him, throwing a punch at him.

Just then the other men got up, seeing their friend was hurt they knew they should jump in. They all had their guns since they'd just come back from hunting and started shooting at Will like crazy.

Raiju moved like lightning (no pun intended) and grabbed both will and Katherine "HIT THE DECK!!" he yelled as they slammed to the floor, he cast a wry look at Katherine "I get the distinct feeling that they might not like us around here" he said as he let a few hundred volts of controlled electricity arc overhead and connect with every exposed gun barrel in the room.

The men shook as the electricity surged through them. They immediately dropped their guns and fell, unconscious.

Katherine watched in awe "That was amazing" she whispered.

Raiju slowly got to his feet and dusted himself off "what, that?" he asked as he reached down to offer her a hand up "that's a simple parlor trick, you should see when I Really cut loose" he said with a smirk.

Will let loose with a series of round house kicks to Red`s head and not stopping until he hit the ground.“Who`s next cause I`m just getting started,”Will said looking at the other men. None of the other men that were standing which were only 3 wanted nothing to do with it and ran off in fear.

Katherine laughed and took his hand as she stood up "thanks" she smiled "Where have you been?"

"oh I've been around" Raiju replied "keeping a low profile as well as an eye on all of you" he said with a small smile "I would have jumped in when you clashed with those hillbillies in the forest except I had gone ahead to their "love nest" to make sure they had a sudden shortage of Silver Bullets for their popguns" he finished with a smirk.

"Ah, you're always one step again" Katherine smirked.

“Bout time you showed up,”Will said looking at Raiju.“could`ve used your help last night.”

Kai came back with Lucille who'd been drinking quite a long and Audria who was tired of sharing Kai with Lucille. "Looks like you guys had some fun here" Kai grinned. "Well, Lucille wanted to stop by and say goodnight"

Lucille glared at Will "You're a sick sick snake and YOU" she said to Katherine, wagging her finger "I can't believe he asked YOU to walk with him and not ME! You're just-look at you!"

"Hey! What's what supposed to mean?" Katherine glared.

"It means that I'm prettier than you because I have blonde hair and I have more money than you! You're just" she saw the fangs "ugh, you're a vampire!"

"I could show you my abilities then" Katherine glared at her, going to bite her but Kai held her back "easy Katherine, she's just drunk" he chuckled.

Lucille turned her attention to Raiju, smiling sweetly now "You're definitely cute, so you got a name?" she winked at him, nuzzling up to his chest.

Audria tugged on Kai's shirt and whispered in his ear. Kai just nodded "Bye" he said simply, leaving them with Lucille.

Will just shakes his head and walks outside.

Katherine followed Will out "Can you believe her?! She deserves to be bitten!" she glared, mocking "Oh, I'm so pretty because I have blonde hair and I have money and oh you're a vampire so that's disgusting" she rolled her eyes and sighed, glaring still.

Raiju was startled as Lucille nuzzled him 'fickle much?' he thought as he smirked "my name's Raiju" he replied as he took a seat at a wall booth and offered her a seat as well "and what might your name be?" he asked deciding to try and be polite, for the moment anyway.

Lucille squeaked in happiness "Thank you!" she beamed, looking at him "My name is Lucille but some call me Lucy sometimes". "What's your name?" she asked, her hands resting under her chin as she looked at him.

"as I said, my name is Raiju but some often called me 'Sparky' when the mood hits them" he replied "my friends and I are new in town and simply looking to relax before we continue on"

"Relaxation, I could always give you that!" Lucille smiled "My parents have a pool behind our house, so you're invited to come over whenever you want"

"I might take you up on that" Raiju replied with a smile, he'd learned centuries ago how to avoid the nasty water to electricity reaction that occurred whenever he was in or around large bodies of water, so he wouldn't need to worry about that happening if he went "would it be alright if I offered the invite to my friends as well?" he asked, not wanting them to feel left out, though if he did bring them he'd make a note to keep this girl and Katherine on opposite sides of the pool.

“Don`t mind her Katherine. Humans don`t get what they don`t understand,”Will said looking at the sky.“Thank you for letting me handle those guys.”

Katherine sighed "I guess you're right" she replied. She then smiled "Of course, Will, I know you had to do what you did. But it's hard for me to just stand back and watch. I feel so guilty about it all...just promise me to try and not fight anymore, okay?" she smirked.

"Good, I hope you do take me up on it!" Lucille giggled, hiccuping. "I really don't want Katherine there or Will but if it'd make you happy then sure, invite them" she said, waving her hand off. "Just please make sure they stay far away from me. Will is so rude, he rejected me" she cried, grabbing a tissue. "I never get rejected!"

'that explains the ego' Raiju mused as he placed a hand on her shoulder "don't let it get to you, I think those two have had a little chemistry between them since they met, common history and all that" he said trying to keep her from 'opening the floodgates'.

Lucille gasped "What?! He can't, Kai said they were just friends!" she stated matter of factly. "Have you ever had a girlfriend before?"

"once, years ago" Raiju replied "but she died" his eyes became misty as he recalled her brutal murder by foolish cultist who believed they'd ascend to godhood by dining on demon flesh and drinking Demon blood, only to become true abominations, neither human nor demon, but monsters that only knew death and destruction, he'd destroyed them with his full fury, this had been several years before he met Will and so he never saw a need to inform his friend of the events, blinking away a few tears he looked at Lucille "she was pointlessly murdered by cult zealots" he stated simply, letting her know he didn't want to remember it.

“I`ll try not to but I can`t promise that I won`t fight,”Will said looking at Katherine.

"Well you trying is good enough I suppose" Katherine laughed with a grin, looking over to the side and watching as people started to leave for home.

"I'm sorry" Lucille frowned, putting her hand on his arm and then going over and hugging him "Whenever I'm sad my mom makes me fresh cookies and some tea." she took out a bag of cookies and set it on the table "I made them this morning, would you like one?" she offered with a smile, hoping he'd cheer up.

Will looks at the sky and then at Katherine.“I`m going to the inn you coming,”Will said walking to the inn.

Katherine shrugged "sure" she smiled, walking into the inn with him and spotting her brother laughing with a woman. She walked up to the table "Hey, who's she?"

Draven looked at Katherine "Oh hey Katherine, this is Elizabeth, I helped her out today but we decided to hang out some more"

"Your brother is so funny and sweet, it's so hard to find a nice guy like him these days" Elizabeth smiled, putting her hand out "It's nice to meet you Katherine and you too, Will, right?" she asked Will. "Please do have a seat if you're not dong anything"

Katherine smiled and shook her hand "It's nice to meet you as well" she said, sitting in the spot next to Elizabeth, letting Will sit next to her brother.

Will nods as he takes the seat next to Draven. 'What a day this has been,'thought Will.

Draven looked over at Will "How has your day gone?" he smiled.

Elizabeth looked at the time "Oh, I should really get going, I have to make dinner still, Draven, when you're done, come see me and we can have dinner together" she smiled, saying goodbye to them all and leaving.

“It was good. Got a new jacket and ended up taking care of the guy that shot Katherine with the help of Raiju,”Will said relaxing a bit.

"Ah, so you've seen Raiju. Well, I'm glad your day wasn't too unpleasant" he smiled, then looking at Katherine "And yours?"

"I had a wonderful day" Katherine smiled.

"Oh! which reminds me, a girl was looking for you earlier, Will. She said her name was Lucille"

"ugh, that-that THING was looking for him?! Of course she was! She's just some snobby brat who thinks she's so great, well she can just go fall in a river!" Katherine fumed, leaving upstairs to her room.

Draven blinked "Huh. I take it they've met then..." he chuckled "Well, I've got to go then "Take care Will, try to stay out of trouble" he smirked, leaving to Elizabeth's.

“Yea they've met. I`ll try to,”Will said closing his eyes and relaxing.

Will was soon asleep in the chair so he didn't notice the 3 men coming up behind him.

Kai walked in, leaving Audria waiting outside, he needed to borrow some more money from Katherine. He saw Kai and then 3 men approaching "Hey, Will, wake up" he said quickly so that Will would wake up before getting hurt. He then had an orb appear in his hand, looking at the 3 "If you guys want a fight, I'll knock you all out right here and now"

Will wakes up, looks at Kai, then looks behind him.“Unless you want to end up like your friends at the bar I suggest you leave,”Will said getting to his feet.

The 3 men saw that they were outnumbered since they were so much stronger than them and they really didn't want to die. "Well, fine, but just you know this! When you're not expecting it, you're going to end up dog food!" the man glared. After the threat he looked back at his 2 friends "come on guys, let's go home" he stated, leaving.

Kai sighed "That was easy, we'll have to make sure to be 100 percent careful though, I'm most likely going to stay at Audria's tonight so you, Katherine, Raiju and Draven need to be on the look out." He then went upstairs, knocking on Katherine's door.

Katherine went to her door and saw it was Kai "What do you want?" she asked, annoyed.

"I just need to borrow some money for Audria" Kai grinned "and before you say no, if you do this, it'll get me out of your hair for a while"

Katherine glared at him "Fine" she said,leaving into her room to get the money.

Kai stepped in "By the way, make sure to lock your door and windows tonight, you probably do anyways but there was a threat downstairs earlier so just be careful"

Katherine sighed "These humans around here are annoying as ever. Thanks for letting me know though" she said, giving him the money. "Now, I'm done giving you money, I'm serious Kai. You can tell your little girlfriend to just get the money herself and to stop mooching off of guys".

Kai chuckled as he put away the money "She does have money, she just doesn't want to spend it" he grinned, leaving before he had to deal with her being angry. "Come on Audria, gotta hurry up and leave"

"Alright, did you get the money?" Audria asked with hopeful eyes.

"Yep, now let's go" Kai grinned, grabbing her by the arm and walking off.

'Great another threat on my life,'thought Will as he sat back down in the chair he was sitting in and tries to relax again.

Katherine still needed to eat so she went downstairs and saw Will by himself. She snuck up behind him and tipped his chair back, still holding it so he wouldn't fall and laughed, letting it back down "I have to go get something to eat now, do you want to come or would you rather stay here, I wouldn't want to take you away from your comfortability here" she smirked.

“I'll go with you,”Will said getting up from the chair.

Katherine started out the door and towards the woods "So, I hear you got a threat. I'm thinking about getting a pad-lock or something, I don't really feel like having any close encounters"

“If they try something against any of us, even you, they are going to regret it,”Will said walking beside Katherine.

Katherine couldn't help but s mile at his words "Thank you, Will, for everything" she said before hugging him and then letting him go. She moved out of Will's sight to get some blood, she'd have felt like a monster getting blood in front of him. That was one thing she hated about being a vampire, she was sure she looked awful draining blood from an animal. She went to walk back to Will when she was done when she suddenly felt someone push her against them and then felt hot breath against her neck. She elbowed him in the gut in time and turned to look at him when she saw he was a vampire. She was shocked to see a vampire, especially here where it was mainly populated by humans.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you were a fellow vampire" Drake said, grinning when he was able to look at her clearly "You're beautiful, what's your name?"

"I don't have a name" Katherine obviously lied, going to walk off when he followed after her.

"You know, I saw a psychic a couple of weeks back, she said that I was going to meet the love of my life in this town and just today I meet this lovely vampire, what are the odds?"

Katherine laughed "A psychic, seriously? Listen, I don't know who your little soulmate is but it's not me" she smirked, going back to Will. "Did you get anything to eat or are you going to get something else to eat somewhere else?" she asked him, ignoring Drake who stood behind her, looking at Will curiously.

“Wait here I'll be right back,”Will said running off into the woods to hunt.

Katherine nodded and sat on a tree stump while she waited, ignoring Drake who was standing there staring at her. "You know, it'd be so much nicer if you left now" she smirked.

"I'm not leaving" Drake grinned "So. your friend, he's not a human? sure looked like it"

"No, he's not a human and even if he was I wouldn't let you touch him" Katherine stated.

"ooo, you've got spunk, girl, I like that" Drake grinned. He looked in the direction Will went off "So, if he's not a human, what is he? he sure didn't seem like a vampire"

"Well, actually he is a vampire, as well as a werewolf and a nine tailed demon so even if I didn't let you touch him, he'd kill you before you even tried" Katherine grinned then gasping out loud at his last comment "of course not

Drake raised an eyebrow "How is he all 3 different things?"

"It's none of your business" Katherine said, looking in the direction Will went, hoping he'd get back soon.

Will finished off the buck that he just killed and ran back to where Katherine was.“What have I missed,”Will said with a smile.

"A psycho who thinks I'm the love of his life just because of something a psychic said" Katherine smirked

Drake laughed and stepped up to Will, extending a hand "Hello, I'm Drake and you are?" he smiled.

“Will Blackfire,”Will said shaking Drake's hand.

"Will Blackfire, isn't that an interesting name. You seem like a nice enough guy, we should definitely have a drink sometime" he then looked at Katherine "And if you ever change your mind about me, you know I'd love to get to know you better and hopefully maybe even let me have a chance at dating you. I assure you I'm not a bad guy"

“Yea maybe sometime soon. You ready to go Katherine,”Will said looking at Katherine.

Katherine was disgusted at how easily Will liked him "I am, yes" she said, looking in another direction, her arms crossed.

Drake chuckled "Well, since you're both leaving, I'll say good-night now. See you soon" he said, winking at Katherine and walking off deeper into the woods.

“I don't trust him. Did you see the direction he walked off in,”Will said to Katherine as they walked back to town.

Katherine's jaw dropped "What? You two were like best friends back there!" she definitely wasn't expecting this from him. "I did see that, though" she said after the shock "I know it could be anything but the fact that these humans around here are pretty close-knit it can't be a good thing"

“Something's happened to this town since the last time me and Raiju's been here,“Will said stopping at the edge of the woods.

"Will, I hate to say this but you're scaring me" Katherine frowned a bit, looking back and seeing Drake. He stood in a shadow of a tree and had a grin plastered on his face. He winked at her and Katherine quickly turned back around. "Let's just go back to the inn" she said quickly, looking back around again but he seemed gone now.

“Alright and sorry for scaring you,”Will said to Katherine as started walking again.“I've just got a lot bothering me right now.”

"You should be" Katherine teased with a smirk as they walked. She looked over at him "Do you want to talk about it?"

“Just missing my family and worrying about that threat those guys made,”Will said as a tear slid down his cheek.

Katherine frowned, she'd never seen Will cry, in fact he always seemed to be so strong all of the time. She hugged him "I promise that we'll be okay." she pulled him out of the hug to smile at him "I miss my family too and I know it hurts that they're not here with us anymore but really, in a way they're never gone since they're always in our memories and in our heart. I'd like to believe that they're in a better place and that when it's our time to leave, we'll be with them again" she said, wiping the tear away gently from his face.

"Thank you for being here for me it means a lot,”Will says smiling.

"of course! No thanks necessary, Will, I'm only glad I can be here for you" Katherine smiled back. "And really, if anything I should be thanking you. You've done so much for me. If you ever need anything, I hope you can come to me" she looked up when she felt a few drops of water on her and saw that it was starting to rain "We should probably get inside now before we're drenched" she laughed.

“Yea lets and trust me the wet dog smell takes forever to get out of a jacket,”Will said laughing as they went into the inn.

Katherine laughed at his comment as she walked into the inn "You say the funniest things" she looked at the time and sighed "I think I'm going to go to bed now. I haven't been sleeping too well lately so maybe going to bed a bit earlier will help" she smiled "Goodnight Will, I'll see you tomorrow"

“Goodnight and if you need anything I'll be down here,”Will said as he sits down in the chair from earlier.

"Thanks" Katherine smiled before leaving upstairs to her room. She opened her door, closing it behind her and changing into her long nightgown before getting into bed and closing her eyes, trying to sleep. She couldn't though, she kept thinking about everything and all it did was make her feel nervous. She got up and double checked her locks and went back into bed again, staring into the darkness and hoping that sleep would take her soon.

Will lets himself slowly fall into a light sleep wanting to be ready in case those 3 humans try to make good on their threat.

The 3 men were back now, with 4 more men. 2 of the 3 men from earlier had on clothes to make it look like they worked in the inn and went upstairs quietly, they took a book from the inn to see who was in what room and went quietly up to Katherine's room with a knock.

Katherine had gotten a few minutes of sleep when she heard the knock. Assuming it was Will she got up and opened it to see two men she hadn't seen before "Yes?" she asked.

"Well, we're here to check out something in the room. We had a complaint from the inn itself that the shower wasn't working too well" one of the men smiled.

Katherine yawned and stepped aside, turning on the light for them. "I think the shower works just fine, I didn't have any problems with it" she said, standing there as one of the men went up to the shower, turning on the water and testing it out while the second stood beside her, checking her out.
Katherine felt his eyes on her and looked over at him but he just smiled "You're really beautiful, sorry for staring"
Katherine laughed "Well thank you" she smirked.
"It's too bad we have to do this, then" the man said, looking at the other who looked back to grin at him.
Katherine looked confused "Do what?"
Suddenly he put a cloth to her face that had a heavy dose of nitrous oxide on it to make her fall asleep instantly. She went to fall to the ground but they both had caught her in time. "Now go look downstairs and make sure everyone else is on break and that the guy is still sleeping"
The second man nodded and looked downstairs, the inn staff were still on break but only for about 8 more minutes and Will seemed to be sleeping still, so he ran upstairs to the tell the first who picked up Katherine and walked downstairs with her and out the inn. When he got a few stairs from passer by's he just simply told them that she was being taken to a hospital to which they looked back at them for a moment but shrugged, leaving. The two men went for their walk with Katherine into the woods, the second man following beside the first. They walked for about 30 minutes when they came to a small house. The second man knocked and the door answered to the man who was smoking a cigarette "no one followed you?"
"Nope, we're fine" the first man said, handing her over to the man at the door who placed her in his bed and proceeded to tie her legs and arms up so that when she did wake up eventually she wouldn't be able to leave so easily. He was good friends with the men that were stunned with electricity and about beaten dead by Will so he knew what he was up against.

The other 5 men, only of which 3 were also in inn clothes were working around Will so that he wouldn't sense it was them. "Sir" 3 of the men said, walking up to him "We need you to come outside for a moment, we're very sorry for the inconvenience but we were told of how strong you are and thought maybe you could help us move a boulder by the inn" one of them smiled. The 2 men that weren't dressed up in inn clothes and didn't know Will walked outside just then and disappeared around the corner, waiting for the signal.

“I was wondering when ya'll was going to make your move,”Will said getting to his feet.“Now tell me where Katherine is or I'll beat it out of ya.”

"I don't know what you're talking about sir" one of the men said, looking confused "We just need some help with this big rock outside, it needs to be moved so we can plant some flowers" The other two were a bit worried, Will didn't seem to be fooled and they didn't understand how, they'd thought they had done pretty well with putting on the inn clothes.

Will just looks at the guys and goes outside before taking off to the woods at top speed.

The men quickly followed after him "Hey! wait, come back here!" they started yelling, going in the direction of the woods but their speed was nothing compared to his. They ran nonetheless as fast as they could in the woods, after Will.

Will quickly shifts to his demon form and starts following Katherine's scent to a small house deep in the woods.

The men were now panting, tired of running so much and had to stop. They took a 5 minute break and then starting running again, they'd regretted not having their guns with them.

The two men that got Katherine stood outside talking and joking, taking a break from the house that smelled like smoke inside from Alex smoking so much. When they saw Will, they quickly ran inside and locked the door behind them "Alex, he's here! It seems they didn't do their job of knocking him out"

Alex sighed with a smile "Alright, we'll just have to welcome him then, let's not fret, stay calm" he said, moving his glasses closer to his face and looking out the window, seeing Will. He unlocked the door and stepped outside with a friendly smile "Hello, I've heard all about you. My name's Alex, let's chat for a while shall we?"

Will shifts back to his human form.“I've been waiting 10 years to find you Alex. Your going to pay for destroying my village and kidnapping Katherine,”Will said as he put his hand on the handle of the katana at his side.

Alex laughed "Oh right, yes, Will! You most certainly have changed, I don't remember you being a demon the last time I saw you" he smirked "You know, we could just have a beer, sit down and talk about all of this. I really didn't kidnap her, Katherine you say her name is? She really just came to me. Maybe she's tired of being around you" he shrugged. "No worries for that though, I have a friend who's a vampire, I'm sure he'd like Katherine very much since he doesn't see many vampires the poor guy but since she's both female and a vampire, I think they'll fit together well but please do put that katana down, we don't need anymore violence do we?"

As if waiting for the exact moment Drake walked up and saw Will "hey there again" he laughed "why are you here at Alex's, you two know each other?"

"We do actually, you could say we're old friends, why don't you go inside and make yourself comfortable while I deal with him?"

Drake nodded "Will do, let me know if you need me though" he said, looking at Will with a grin before walking inside. He saw the two men standing in front of a closed door "What's behind door number one?" he joked.
The two men moved aside and let him enter, not saying a word. When he saw Katherine sleeping on the bed he grinned "Ah, the girl from earlier, she's a real firecracker. She's so peaceful and calm when she's not awake though" he said, getting on the bed and laying next to her "She's so soft, too" he whispered as he ran his fingers through her hair, smelling her. She smelled so good. She was the first female vampire he'd seen in 5 or 6 years now.

“You and your men may have almost killed me the last time we met,”Will said drawing the katana.“But this time you all will die by my sword.”

Alex sighed "I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, William. Now I'll have to kill you just like I killed your family" He then grabbed out a small gun from his pocket he'd had hidden and shot it at William.

The two men from earlier heard the shots and ran out to see if Alex needed help.

Will dodged the bullet as he charged at Alex and sliced off his hand that was holding the gun.“I'm faster than last time,”Will said as he kicked Alex in the face.

Alex looked in horror down at his hand that was there no more as he lay on the ground "You-YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT, WILLIAM!" he growled, his other hand helping him to get up as he went after Will again, kicking and punching at him.

The other two men followed in step, going behind Will and going to cut him with knives they both carried.

Will dodges Alex's punches as he plunges his sword into the guys chest.“You've had that coming for 10 years,”Will said as he pulled out the sword and quickly cut down the other 2 men.

Alex lay on the ground dead, blood seeping out of his mouth as the other two men started bleeding heavily from their wounds. They started to run off back to the town.

Will walks into the house and heads straight to the room Katherine was in.“Drake get away from her,”Will growled as he kicked the door in.

Drake grinned as he stood up, still on the other side of the bed "She's mine now Will and if I have to fight you for her then you better believe I will"

“Have it your way, but let it be known if I don't kill you her brother will,”Will said as he draws another katana from behind him.

Drake laughed "You really think I'd be so scared of her brother? No, I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't be" he grinned "I haven't seen a vampire in years, let alone a female. Now she came along and she's so beautiful and such a firey girl. I can't pass up on that, I'm sure that you as a man can understand that" he replied, running up at top speed and grabbing Will, biting at his neck.

Will barely moves his neck in time to avoid being bitten as he plunges both swords into Drakes gut.“Nice try to bad you won't have a second chance,”Will said as he brings both swords up threw Drakes chest and out by his neck.

"You..." Drake whispered before dying, his pupils went big as he died then slowly got smaller as blood started pouring out of him.

Will wipes off both swords before putting them away then proceeds to untie Katherine.“Katherine are you ok, please wake up,“Will said with a worried look on his face.

Katherine groggily woke up, the light on in the room made it all look like a blur to her. "Will?" she said, hearing his voice. She wondered if this was maybe just a dream and smiled contently, turning to her side as she tried to go back to sleep, the affects still weighing in on her.
