Will enters the bar and takes a seat at the counter.

Katherine sat at the back of the bar which was pretty empty, most of the people being at the front end or at the counter. She sighed and frowned.
The bartender sent one of his workers to get her a drink which was placed in front of her. She smiled and said thank you but moved it away, looking at the wall as she thought to herself.

The bartender placed a glass in front of Will "What would you like?" he smiled.

“Rum and coke,”Will said looking around.

The bartender quickly got his drink around and slid it in front of Will "Waiting for someone?" he asked.

Raiju re-enters the bar after walking Lucille home "nah!, he just likes getting plastered is all" he said casually as he sits down beside him "I'll have an Iced Tea"

“Very funny but that does sound like a good idea after what I`ve been through the last few days,”Will said after taking a drink of his drink.

Audria walked in and up to Katherine "If you see Kai, you tell him I don't want to see him!" she said, walking off quickly.

Katherine watched her leave and sighed, waving to Raiju and Will before leaving out of the bar.

Will returns Katherine`s wave then returns to his drink.'Kai's done it again,'thought Will to himself.

Katherine went to the inn, grabbing herself something to drink and then going up to her room to relax and try to sort things out.

Will lets the events of the past two days play out in his head as he finished his drink. Will was to caught up in his thoughts that he didn't see the bartender set another rum and coke in front of him or the man that was behind him.

The man sat next to Will, looking at him for a few moments before drinking the beer that was put in front of him.

After a while, Katherine knew she should probably get some blood before she started to feel sick. She started walking there and saw Draven on her way "Hey, I thought you were with Elizabeth"

"I am, I just thought I'd come get some blood, I haven't had enough today and I started feeling sick. She knows I'm a vampire but I don't want her to know what I have to do every day, it'd make me feel like a monster" Draven sighed.

"Draven, it's not our fault and it's better than taking it from the humans around here...although some of them deserve it" Katherine said, thinking of Lucille.

Draven smiled "You're right" he said, following her into the woods. They both had their blood and Draven looked at Katherine "So, how are you doing?" he asked, thinking he'd just check up on her.

"I'm fine" Katherine smiled although she wasn't. She was having some issues and was battling them out by herself.

"Alright, good I'm glad to hear it. How's Will been?" Draven asked. "Raiju?"

"Will's okay I think, he ended up killing the men from his village long ago that killed his family...so you know how big today had to have been for him. And Raiju, he seems to be happy and alright" Katherine said, sitting down on the tree stump she'd sat on before.

"Well, I'm glad to hear it" Draven smiled "I should get going now though. Are you going to walk back with me?"

"No, I'm going to sit here for a while...maybe look through the woods some" Katherine smiled.

"Alright, just you be careful though" Draven said to her before leaving.

Will lets out a sigh and takes a drink of the rum and coke in front of him.'Why do I have a feeling this isn't over yet,'Will thought to himself as he looked at the man beside him.

The man just tipped his hat at him "I'm not going to do you any harm, I just have never seen you two before" he said, motioning to him and Raiju. "Are you guys going to be here long?"

“Not much longer. Have you heard of the Ward before,”Will asked the man.

"Nope, never heard of anything like that" the man said, looking curious now. "Is it for crazy people or something?"

“No its a place where werewolves, vampires and demons are kept under lock and key and are experimented on. My friends and I are looking to put a end to the Ward once and for all,”Will said finishing his drink.

"Sounds like a pretty horrible place, only sick people would work there" the man said, then coughing. "Although I'm not too fond of blood suckers to be honest with ya...they give me the creeps...draining the blood from animals and people...people like that disgust me. I'm just fine with werewolves and demons though, I've met a few that were pretty nice"

"My brother in law could tell you some things about it, I personally don't know too much though, they don't really talk about it" the man said.

Lucille walked in "Uncle Sam!" she grinned, running up to him and ignoring Will "Daddy was just telling me that we should invite you for some lunch, are you interested?"

Sam nodded "Sounds good" he smiled, standing up. "Have you met these two guys?"

Lucille smiled at Raiju "Why yes I have, he's quite a guy! The other one I've never seen in my life, he looks like a criminal" she said, her nose in the air as she walked out.

Sam sighed "Pay no attention to her, she's not too friendly to some. It was good talking to ya, though. My name's Sam, who are you two?"

“I`m Will Blackfire and he is Raiju,”Will said pointing at his friend.

"Well you two boys stay out of trouble and be careful, too" Same said before leaving.

“Will do and it was nice to meet you Sam,”Will said as Sam left.'Maybe this town isn't as bad as I first thought,'Will thought to himself.

“I`ll be back in a bit Raiju. I`m going to do some hunting and check on Katherine,”Will said as he walked out of the bar and started running to the woods shifting to his wolf form as he ran.

Katherine was sitting on the tree stump still, thinking to herself about the same thing over and over and decided to go back to the inn and just be alone for a while. She stood up and saw Will "Hey, I thought you were talking to Raiju?" she smiled.

“I was. started to feel hungry and decided to do some hunting,”Will said smiling at Katherine.“Would you like to join me?”

"Yes, I would" Katherine smiled as she started to walk "Is the bar very active right now?"

“Not really but I've noticed it usually picks up at night,”Will said as they walked.“I may have picked up a lead on the Wards other locations.”

"That's wonderful news! Is it someone you're going to visit and talk with?" Katherine asked.

“Maybe. Its that Lucille girl`s dad. If I do go we all go together as a group,”Will said as he looked for a deer to kill.“So how is everything with you.”

"Oh..her.." Katherine muttered when hearing Lucille's name. She looked down "I guess everything with me is alright. I think it is. What about you?" she asked, looking over at him.

“I feel better now that I`ve taken care of those men that killed my family. But I`ve been thinking about what you said to me last night at the inn,”Will said stopping and looking at Katherine.“You have feelings for me don`t ya.”

Katherine's heart about caught in her throat and she felt a small blush creep up "W-What? Will, what kind of question is that?" she asked, looking in the opposite direction, she was far too embarrassed to look directly at him now.

“I`m just asking because I kinda like you. The past 2 days I haven`t really had time to think about it until now,”Will said blushing a little.

Katherine looked over at him now "You-you do?" she asked, caught off guard, she wasn't expecting this at all. "I...well" she looked down, feeling uncomfortable, she'd never been put in this spot before. "I kind of like you, too..." she said quietly. She then cleared her voice "It's nice weather isn't it? Hopefully it doesn't rain again" she laughed nervously, looking up at the sky.

“Yea the weather is nice and I don`t think its going to rain for a few days,”Will said with a smile as he hears a twig snap.“Ok Kai I know your there come on out.”

Kai sighed as he walked up to them "I swear some women are crazy, going off on a guy for just looking at another girl! Anyways, I should go, I'm going to see if I can calm her down. I'll see you two later, I just thought I'd see what you guys are up to since I never see you anymore" he chuckled.

“Nothing much. Got a lead concerning the Ward that we may check out,”Will said looking at Kai.“Oh and before I forget watch what you say about Katherine ok.”

Katherine blushed and covered her face in her hands, embarrassed.

"Awesome, so we're all going to go and interrogate 'em?" Kai grinned "sounds like fun to me" he then looked at Katherine "Why? she knows she's my favorite little picking machine" he smirked, putting his arm around her waist which Katherine promptly removed. He laughed "Well, I've gotta get going to find Audria, try to cool her down and all. I'll see you guys later" he winked, walking off.

“Have fun with that,”Will said to Kai as he walked off.“Come on Katherine lets head back to town. I`ll get something to eat there.”

"Will do!" Kai laughed in reply.

Katherine nodded and walked beside him, looking ahead of her. "So, are your wounds all healed up?" she asked as she looked ahead of her.

“Yea I`m just a little sore from hitting that wall after the grenade exploded,”Will said moving his left arm around a little as they walked back to town.

Katherine looked over at him, frowning a bit "I'm sorry, maybe you should rest it for a while, it might feel better then" she answered with a smile.

“Your probably right,”Will said as they went past the inn.“Looks like I need to tell Raiju that we have a lead. I`ll meet up with you later ok.”

"Alright, have fun" Katherine smiled, walking off into the inn and up to her room.

Will smiles and walks back into the woods. Will spots a buck in the clearing where Alex`s house was.“Might as well get this done and over with,”Will said to himself as he takes the buck down and starts to skin it so he can cook the meat.

Draven noticed Will in the woods when he came for a small walk, waiting to go back since Elizabeth was visiting a friend for an hour or two. He walked up to Will "Hello William, I haven't seen you today, how are you?" he asked, placing himself next to Will.

“Doing a lot better but my left arm is still sore from being thrown into a wall by a grenade explosion,”Will said as finishes dressing the deer and makes a fire to cook the meat.

"Ah yes, I heard about that. You sure do get into a lot of trouble don't you?" Draven smiled although worried about him "Do you think your arm pain is serious?"

“Nah I`ve been through worse at the Ward remember. This is nothing,”Will said stretching his arm out.

Draven frowned "You're right, that definitely is nothing compared to what happened at the ward." he let out a sigh and leaned his head back against a tree "Have you done a lot today, then?"

“May have a lead concerning the Wards other locations,”Will said as he started cooking the meat.“Just don`t know when I`m going to meet the guy.”

"Oh really? How did you find that out?" Draven asked curiously.

“Lucille`s uncle. I believe his name was Sam. He said his brother in law might know something,”Will said checking the meat.

"That's good that you have something to check out then concerning that" Draven smiled "So have you become friends with Lucille, then?"

“Lucille doesn't like me. It was her uncle that told me earlier today in the bar” Will said taking the meat off of the fire.

"What? why doesn't she like you?" Draven asked, standing up to stretch out his arms and back.

“She had asked me if I had a girlfriend and without thinking I had asked Katherine to go for a walk and Lucille got mad over it,”Will said putting some of the meat in a sealed bag for later.

Draven chuckled "Ah, some women are funny like that. You could always apologize to her though you know and maybe try to get along better with her" he smiled.

“True but I think she likes Raiju though. Did Katherine tell you that she met another vampire here in the woods yesterday,”Will asked Draven.

"Ah, well that's too bad. You could always talk with her and see if you still have a chance with her" Draven suggested helpfully. "Yes actually she did. When I mentioned seeing a vampire to her she said he wasn't her type. I think she's just being picky, either that or just trying not to find someone"

“He was working with those men that killed my family and I had to kill him to get Katherine back last night,”Will said sitting by the fire.

"Wait-what? she didn't tell me that! I'm sorry to hear that you had so much chaos going on last night" Draven sighed, feeling even worse for him that he had worked for the people that killed his family. He looked at his watch. "I should go now, Elizabeth will be returning home soon. You really should try talking to Lucille though, she seems like a nice girl" he smiled, walking off.

“I`ll try to,”Will said as Draven walked off. Will got up and started back to the inn when he noticed he was being followed.'Now what is it,'”thought Will as he stopped.

"You-you have to get the police!" the man said, shaken up. "I saw some dead bodies in the woods! I thought maybe it was just some props or something but it's real! I think there's a murderer around here" he said, looking around.

"I can't go back there! it was gruesome!" the man said, terrified. "I think I'm just going to go home and call the police later so that I can calm down first" he sighed.

"oh okay, good, I'll leave it to you then. They were out pretty deep in the woods, others not as deep. It seemed that one of the guys' hands was cut off. As long as they're picked up, I'll be okay. It just really scared me" he sighed, stressed out.

Will nods and runs to the place the man described to him.'Looks like using that smoke bomb was a bad idea on their part,' Will said as he look at Alex`s body. Will then goes to the other spot and notice this was a werewolf attack.“This is not good. Most werewolves won`t attack like this for no reason,”Will says to himself.

Katherine woke up from her nap, yawning and stretching, she was so comfortable she didn't even want to leave her bed. She looked up at the small clock that was hanging in the room she was staying in and knew she should probably get up soon. She heard a knock at her door and didn't feel like answering it just then "Come in" she said.

Draven walked in "I'm sorry to disturb you but Elizabeth's not home yet so I thought I'd come ask you a question really quick. Do women like flowers?" he asked.

Katherine laughed "Are you really asking me advice on girls?"

"Yes, but you're right, I should probably go ask a woman that" Draven smirked, grabbing the pillow that was flung at his head and putting it back down at her bed.

"I guess so, some women like flowers, others find them corny but with what I saw of Elizabeth she looks like the type who'd love romantic gestures, so I say go for it" Katherine said, sitting up.

"Ah good, thank you! I appreciate it" Draven smiled, closing the door behind her as he walked off.

Will picks up the sent of some werewolves nearby but decides against looking for them. Will turns and starts back when he noticed that the werewolves was tracking him.

One of the 2 werewolves walked slowly up to him in their werewolf forms, then turning human "Are you one of the hunters out to kill us?" one growled at him angrily.

“Do I look like a hunter to you,”Will said as he shifted to his wolf form.

"Ah good, so you're one of us. That's a relief, then. We've had to kill quite a few guys here in this village because of how they want to kill us, it's been a nightmare" the man sighed, looking back at his friend "This is Toby and I'm Jared, it's definitely nice to meet you"

“I`m William Blackfire. I`ve had run ins with those hunters myself,”Will said looking at Jared and Toby.

"Yeah, they're an annoying bunch" Jared sighed "At least we don't see them much anymore though" he commented.

Toby nodded "It's pretty odd, actually but definitely nice. Anyways, I'm going back to the cave to sleep" Toby yawned "You coming?"

Jared nodded "Sure" he said, looking at Will "We were up pretty late last night hunting and preparing meat so we don't have to go out every night" he explained "Well, we're going to get some sleep. I hope to see you again sometime" Jared smiled, leaving with Toby who waved before turning his back. They both turned into their werewolf forms and ran off into the woods.

“Sure looking forward to it,”Will said as he started back to the inn.

One of the staff walked up to Will "Hello, our system has gotten messed up and so I was wondering if you could repeat your name for me on the sign in sheet?" the man asked with a smile.

“Sure its William Blackfire,”Will said looking at the staff guy.

"Alright, thank you so much! We appreciate it" He smiled, walking off and helping by asking other people that had walked in for their name as well.

Will walks up the stairs and heads to his room looking to get some sleep.

Kai looked at Will as he went up the stairs "Hey" he grinned, knocking at Katherine's door "Hey, Katherine, I need to talk to you"

Katherine sighed and opened the door for him. "What is it?"

"It's Audria, she's not talking to me. Do me a favor and go talk to her for me?" Kai asked.

"No way! It's your relationship and I don't care to have anything to do with it. You're going to have to do it on your own" Katherine said, waving him off.

"But Katherine come on, I haven't been kissed in" he looked at the block "5 hours, which is a long time...unless you know you want to kiss me to make me feel better" Kai suggested jokingly.

"Not even in your dreams, Kai" Katherine smirked "But, really, just like I said-let her cool off"

"But I don't want to, that'll take too long! Come on, there has to be something else" Kai pleaded.

"Fine. To get you to go away try giving her something nice and apologize profusely, tell her something nice like she's the one you want and you don't want anybody else for as long as you live or something"

"But that'd be a lie...I don't want to be with her forever...oh well, I'll try it out, thanks" Kai grinned, running down the stairs and back out of the inn again.

Katherine walked out of her room and decided to walk down to the shops for something to do.

Will walks in to his room and leaves the door open a little as he unhooks his swords and takes off his jacket before laying down on the bed to relax.

Walking down towards the shops, she passed the pregnant woman who was crying in her shop that had said 'closed' but didn't seem locked. She knocked and the woman looked her way, waving for her to come in. "Is something wrong?" Katherine asked.

"Yes, my husband is in the hospital unconscious, they were found at the bar and none of them remember what happened. I'm so scared I'm going to lose him" she cried.

Katherine frowned, she wished the woman only knew how sick her husband was. "I'm sorry to hear that, I'm sure he'll be find though and maybe it's for the best he doesn't remember" she smiled.

"I guess you're right" The woman sniffed. "I'm going to the hospital which isn't too far from here, would you come with me?"

Katherine hesitated, she really didn't want to but at the same time she didn't want to be rude, plus she did feel a little responsible. "Alright, I guess I could" she smiled.

"Oh good! I don't really have anyone else to go with" the woman smiled, wiping away her tears. "let's go then" she said, leading the way to the hospital. When she got there she walked with the woman into the man's room. He looked at Katherine and gasped, pointing at her but saying nothing.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? She's this really nice customer that came with me today" she smiled.

Katherine glared at the man, hoping it'd make him stop acting up and it did, he calmed down some and looked away. "I'm going to go, I'm sorry, I forgot I had other things" Katherine lied, not wanting to be around him much longer.

"Alright dear, you take care now and thank you so much!"

Katherine nodded and went to leave when she was bumped into by someone.

Sam who came to visit his friends that were hurt glared at her when he noticed what she was "What are you doing here? Did you come to drink from the sick when no one was looking?"

"What? no of course not!" Katherine said, shocked by his rudeness "I came for that woman there" she said, pointing to the shop woman.

"You stay away from her if you know what's best for you" the man glared. "She doesn't need to mysteriously get knocked out unconscious too"

"I didn't do that! How dare you" Katherine glared, about ready to punch him in the face.

"Don't even lie to me missy, my niece has told me all about you...things like you aren't welcome in this village. so if you have a brain, I'd say use it and leave"

Katherine glared and pushed past him. She walked until she was back at the inn and grabbed her things. She'd left a note for Draven so he wouldn't worry and made sure to write a note for Will as well which was also with the note in Draven's room. signing out before leaving as she headed for the exit out of the village. She really didn't care to stay here anyways, she was sick of the people in it. She hated humans as it was and this just proved to her that she had a right for it. She stopped at a small lake that was by the exit of the town, walking around the side of it and sitting down her things as she relaxed against a tree.

Will hears someone in the hall and goes to take a look. He sees the notes and takes off to the hospital after grabbing his swords and jacket.

Lucille was standing outside of the hospital with her uncle and the pregnant woman, talking when she saw Will walking up. "Oh great, it's him" she muttered, walking off.

Sam smiled at him "Hello Will, is everything alright?"

“Have you seen Katherine,”Will asked Sam before looking at the man in the room.

The man in the room started mumbling incoherently when he saw Will, he was more terrified of him than he was of Katherine.

"Shh, calm down, honey. You're working yourself up again" his wife smiled.

"Katherine? oh yes, Katherine, she's gone I'd hope" Sam said.

Lucille grinned "really?! You made her leave?"

"I sure did, I don't want some blood sucker in my village. They don't belong here" Sam muttered angrily.

“I`m sorry I have to find her,”Will said as he runs out of the hospital and out of the town.

"You do not! I don't want her here!" Sam called off but knew it was no use since he as already pretty far away now.

Lucille glared in his direction "There he goes ruining everything, he can just leave too" she spat, leaving for home.

Will keeps running until he reaches a small lake.“Katherine where are you,”Will says to himself as he looks for her.

Katherine heard Will's voice and walked over to him "Will, what are you doing here? You should be back at the inn! You look kind of tired" she frowned worriedly.

“Not with out you there Katherine,”Will said looking at her.“What happened at the hospital with Sam and Lucille.”

"Sam? who's that?" Katherine asked "I just went with that clothing shop woman to see her husband because she was so upset and then he pretty much told me he didn't want me there and accused me of wanting to drain blood from the people there. I just don't want to go back, Will..I'm sorry, I just hate it there. I don't care for humans as it is and those ones are just like the ones that killed my parents, they're heartless and all they want to do is hurt whoever is different" she sighed "Will, please go back to the inn and get some rest, or even rest here first if you have to"

“I`m not that fond of humans either just look at what they did to my family and my village,”Will said with tears in his eyes.“I know how you feel. Come with me I know where a cave is that 2 werewolves are using. I`m sure that they will let us stay there for a few days while I get the others.”

Katherine frowned "I'm sorry, Will, please don't cry" she said, walking up to him and wiping his tears away, hugging him. "I'll do whatever I have to do just as long as you're not upset. I don't want to be the reason you're sad".

“Its ok I just don`t want you to be unhappy,”Will said hugging her.“Follow me and I`ll find the cave ok.”

Katherine couldn't help but smile at his words, she didn't want to let him go. "Alright" she said, letting go of him and grabbing her things as she started to walk.

Will lead the way through the woods to Jared and Toby`s cave by following their scent.“Jared, Toby are ya`ll there its Will,”Will said standing outside of the cave.

Toby ran out in his werewolf form, tackling Katherine to the ground, sniffing her and howling.

Katherine glared and smacked him hard on the nose "get off of me!"

Toby turned into his human form "Aw do I have to?" he frowned, rubbing his nose.

Jared came out chuckling "Toby, leave the poor girl alone" he looked at Will "Hello there, again, what brings you out here?" he smiled.

“We`re having a bit of trouble in town with the humans and we need a place to stay until I can get the rest of our group together,”Will said to Jared.

"That's fine with me, I don't mind helping you out" Jared smiled.

Toby grinned "Me neither, she smells good" he winked at her.

Katherine looked disgusted and crossed her arms.

"Toby, go show her inside" Jared smiled at Toby.

Toby grinned eagerly and grabbed her hand but she pushed it away and walked by herself inside the cave.

"That's where we sleep and we have extra pillows and blankets so we keep warm, but then again we're werewolves so we have fur. If you ever get cold you can cuddle" Toby grinned stupidly.

"Ugh, I won't do any such thing" Katherine replied.

"You'll change your mind, it can get pretty cold" Toby laughed "Want to try it out?"

"No, I'm fine thank you" Katherine said, walking away. I better not get left alone with him she thought to herself.

Jared chuckled, seeing the excited response from his friend and looked at Will "It's going to be nice having you around, Will" he said, patting his back. "I'm going to go back to my sleep now but I think Toby's pretty riled up so if you want to know anything you can ask him" he smiled, going back to his sleeping back and going back to sleep.

“Toby what do you know about a werewolf village that was attacked 10 years ago. The remains of the village is about 2 to 3 miles south of here,”Will asked Toby.

"Hmm, not much, actually. I think I heard a rumor that someone in town knows though" Toby replied. "They don't talk about stuff like that too much here, it's pretty hush hush" he said, sniffing Katherine's hair.

Katherine slapped him again "Stop sniffing me!" she glared.

Toby chuckled "I can't help it, you smell good"

Katherine rolled her eyes and walked off to look around the cave, she didn't want to stay here.

“I`m the only survivor from that village. And can you please leave Katherine alone,”Will said looking outside of the cave.

"You are? That's pretty depressing" Toby frowned "At least you were able to make it out alive though, that's the important." he then looked over in Katherine's direction "I'll try, she just smells really good" he grinned. He went into the cave to make himself something to drink.

“Thats not all that happened. I was taken to a place called the Ward where I was held for 10 years Injected with vampire blood cause I was half dead when I was brought there and had tests ran on me every day by the twisted doctors there,”Will said still looking outside.“4 days ago Katherine, her brother Draven, Kai and myself was able to escape with the help of my friend Raiju.”

Toby looked shocked "You've been through a lot haven't you? I'm surprised you're not traumatized after that, that's pretty crazy" he answered. "It's nice that you met some nice people though" he smiled.

Katherine walked over to them for a moment, she wanted to ask Will a question when Toby interrupted her.

Toby grinned, laying on his back "Will you rub my belly?"

"No! What is wrong with you?!" Katherine asked, disgusted.

"What? It feels good" Toby pouted, nuzzling against her leg. "You're soft" he smiled, wrapping his arms around her.

Katherine glared at him and kicked him off "You're so weird, what is your problem?" she asked.

"Nothing" Toby grinned.

Katherine sighed "I'm going for a walk, you two have fun" she muttered, walking off.

Toby turned into his werewolf form "I'm pretty tired, I think I'm going to go to sleep too. Feel comfortable to go to sleep whenever you want!" Toby grinned, going into his own sleeping back and getting comfortable.

Will just nods and sits by the cave entrance looking out into the woods.

Kai had fixed things with Audria finally but she was spending time with her parents now so he thought he'd spend some time with Will and Katherine now. He found Katherine in the woods and playfully pulled her up against him when she wasn't looking, causing her to scream out loud for a quick moment. "Kai, don't do that!"

"Sorry, it's just too easy" Kai laughed. "So, what are you doing here in the woods again?"

Katherine shrugged "It's not like there's anything else for me to do" she smirked "And you?"

"Well, I made up with Audria but she's spending some family time with her parents so I thought I'd come hang out with you guys since I've been kind of blowing you guys off for a while now" he grinned. "So where's Will?"

"oh good so you made up with her, then. I'll take you to Will" Katherine smiled, walking back to the cave. "If he's not still talking to Toby still" she muttered.

"I have you to thank for that, your silly girl words worked" he grinned. "Toby? Who's Toby?" Kai asked.

"I guess it's something you can find out for yourself" Katherine said, walking up to Will and sitting next to him.

"Hey there, Will! Where exactly are you at right now?" Kai asked, looking around. He hadn't been here before but it looked pretty cool.

“Try and keep it down will ya. Jared and Toby are asleep,”Will said pointing to the 2 sleeping werewolves.“Katherine was ran out of town by Lucille`s uncle and I wasn't going to stay in town with out her.”

"Lucille's a real brat isn't she?" Kai frowned a bit "Well it looks like you two will have some fun out here. Although I don't see why you have to be here with her, if you trust these werewolves so much then I think she'd be fine by herself here"

“I don`t trust myself enough to go back into town right now, if I did Sam would be in the hospital along side his friend,”Will said looking at Kai.“If you see Draven tell him Katherine`s fine and I`m looking after her.”


Kai nodded "I'll make sure to tell him. I just don't think he'll be very happy about Katherine not being back with everyone else. Anyways, there's a dance tonight which means a lot of pretty girls so I'm going to go now. It's been really good talking to you two. I'll probably come out and visit another time" he said, waving goodbye and leaving.

"What a pig, he's just going to get into another fight with Audria. I really don't think he'll ever learn" Katherine sighed.

“Maybe not. I need to blow off some steam so I`ll be right outside training if you need me,”Will said walking outside.

"Wait, can I come with you?" Katherine asked, standing where she was just in case he wanted to be alone.

“Sure you can come,”Will said with a smile.

Katherine smiled and walked with him. "You know I appreciate everything you do for me, right?" she asked "I mean it Will, you've always been there for me and you go out of your way just to make sure I'm safe. You're really sweet" she said, looking over at a squirrel that just ran up a tree.

“I know. Its just who I am. I like to protect the people that I care about and that's why when you was shot I did what I did to save you,”Will said looking at Katherine.“I`ll always be here for you that I can promise.”

"And I promise that I'll always be here for you as well" Katherine smiled, looking back at him and then away. "You know, I think you deserve to go to that dance tonight, I think you'd have fun. I really don't want you to miss out on things because of me...and me being a vampire" she sighed. She wondered if maybe she was as bad as people made her feel.

“I`m having fun just being here with you. Besides if I went back there and seen Sam I don`t know if I`d be able to hold back the urge to beat him senseless,”Will said stopping.

Katherine hugged him and sighed as she smiled. "You're always so sweet to me, thank you"

“And your welcome,”Will said hugging her back.

Katherine let him go "Well, you should probably blow off your steam now" she laughed with a smirk, leaning against a tree.

Will laughs as he unhooks the katanas from behind him and leans them against a tree before drawing the katana from his side. Will makes a couple of slashes in the air before focusing on the blade like Raiju had showed him.

Katherine watched him in awe, he was really great at using his swords. Of course he'd had training but it was still fun to watch him use his swords. She actually felt pretty weak compared to everyone else. Kai had his orbs, Raiju had his electricity powers along with other things, Will was 3 different races so he had different abilities and Draven had his sword, plus he'd trained when he was younger with their father and then on his own.

“Would you like to learn how to use a sword? I could teach you if you wanted me to,”Will said as he continued training.

"Y-you could?" Katherine asked, shocked at first and then excited. "I'd love to learn how!" she smiled.

“Sure I can,”Will said as he stopped and got one of his other katanas and handed it to Katherine.

Katherine took it carefully from him, looking at it "Wow, it's so nice!" she exclaimed, looking at him "Now what?" she was so excited, she'd never been trained to use a weapon before, she only hoped she didn't mess up and hurt herself. That'd definitely be embarrassing.

“Ok now watch and do exactly what I do. This is how Raiju showed me. After this the sword will be like a part of you,”Will said as he began to slash in front of him but not as fast as earlier so that Katherine could keep up.

Katherine did exactly as Will showed her "I did it! This seems easy"

Will smiles and nods as he kept up the slashing and add a few stabbing motions along with some blocking moves.“ Now as you do this focus on the blade and watch its movements,”Will said as he focused on his own blade.

Katherine nodded and followed Will's instructions, watching everything she did. She then stopped and looked at Will "Do you mind if I take a small break?"

“Sure go ahead. you`ve caught on quicker than I did when Raiju showed me,”Will said stopping.

"I did?" Katherine asked, feeling proud of herself. "Well, you're still better than me and I'm sure you always will be so there's always that" she smirked.

“Yes you did and even though I`ll be better you are a natural at this. Together along with the others we stand a great chance of ending the Ward for good,”Will said smiling.

Katherine smiled "You're right" She couldn't wait until that time came. She was just happy that they were out of there. She looked over at him "Thank you for teaching me, Will, now all you have to do is teach me to swim sometime" she joked with a grin.

“I was happy to and you can keep the katana. It is my gift to you,”Will said as he put up his sword and hooked the other one on his back.“Come on lets head back to the cave. We need to get some rest.”

Katherine sighed "I guess" she said, not really wanting to sleep, especially in the cave. She didn't really know Jared and Toby very well and she felt out of place. She started to walk back to the cave nonetheless.

“If you don`t want to go back to the cave we can find a place in the woods,”Will said looking at Katherine.“And I`ll change into my demon form so you won`t be cold.”

Katherine smiled "I'd really like that but I don't want to change things again, I've already changed them enough" she laughed.

Will laughs a little but stops when he hears several twigs snap at the same time.'Someone`s following us,'thought Will as he went into aleart mode.

Toby jumped out at them, jumping right in front of them "Time to go eat now! Are you guys ready to go back?"

Katherine made a startled noise when he'd jumped out at her like that but thankfully didn't scream. "Toby, don't sneak up on people like that!" she glared.

"Sorry" Toby chuckled, turning into his human form.

Will seen it was just Toby and relaxed a little.“That was to close. I thought you was those hunters again trying to kill me again,”Will sighed as he looked at Toby.“Lets get back to the cave.”

"Hunters? Nah, I think they're all dead anyways" Toby grinned. "At least let's hope so for their sake, with you me and Jared all together, they don't really stand a chance" he said as he walked back to the cave with Will and Katherine.

Jared saw them coming and grinned "Hey, finally back, eh?"

"Yep, I got them just like I was supposed to" Toby grinned as he sat down, grabbing into the food and eating like he hadn't eaten before.

Jared scolded him "Toby, it's rude to eat like that in front of others, especially a girl" he smiled at both Will and Katherine "Sorry about that, we're not used to having company and Toby here hasn't really been around a girl before so he doesn't know how to behave" he laughed.

"Well I can see that" Katherine muttered, sitting down as Toby made sure to scooch down closer next to her. "Want some?" He asked her, offering her some of his meat.

"Ugh, of course not!" Katherine said, disgusted.

"Alright" Toby shrugged, tempted to smell her again but he knew he better not. She'd probably hurt him and Will had asked him to stop as well.

"Toby, you should lay off of her, she's obviously not interested in you like that" Jared smirked, looking at Will "So what were you two doing out in the woods?"

"oooo!" Toby grinned, wriggling his eyebrows and whistling.

Katherine blushed, slapping his shoulder "Shut up, it was nothing like that!"

Jared couldn't help but laugh "Toby, just eat your food and stop talking for a while"

Toby grinned and quieted, looking over at Will.

“Just training and teaching Katherine how to sword fight,”Will said as he pulled out the bag of meat he`d cooked earlier.

"Well that sounds like fun then" Jared smiled. "I myself don't use any weapons but I'm sure they come in handy"

Katherine heard her name being called and noticed it was her brother. "Excuse me, I've got to go" She quickly got up and left the cave, running through the woods until she came upon him. "Draven, what's going on?" she asked.

"What is going on, Katherine?! I bumped into Kai and he said you're staying in some cave of werewolves with Will because some guy tried running you out of here"

"Oh, it's alright, Will knows them and-" she started but she was interrupted.

"It's not alright, Katherine! That vampire hating guy could go after me next" Draven sighed "You and I...maybe we should split from the rest and leave early"

"What? no! I don't want to! I can't leave Will!" Katherine frowned.

"Of course you can, I like them all too Katherine but this is serious and I'm sure they'd understand. Will can just talk to this guy himself with the others, he won't mind them but he minds us, we have to do what we have to do"

"I'm not leaving and you can't make me, Draven, I'm 22 in human years, that has to count for something!"

"Well it doesn't, you're young Katherine and I'm here to protect you" Draven said, putting his hand on her shoulder but she moved it off "Get away from me, Draven, I can't believe you, I'm going back" she stated, turning away and walking back.

Draven sighed, she sure was stubborn...she got that from their mother. He walked back with her, he needed to get her to listen to him somehow.

“Guys I`ll be right back something`s up,”Will said getting up and running out of the cave.

When Katherine saw Will she ran up to him "He's trying to make me leave but I won't go Will, please talk to him!"

Draven glared at Katherine "Keep him out of it Katherine" he looked at Will "You're her friend, you want what's best for her don't you? I'm leaving tonight and Katherine's coming with me. We're not wanted and so we're leaving. We can stay somewhere not too far away and I'm sure you can always find us again after you talk to Lucille's father" he looked at Katherine "I'm leaving Elizabeth, I'm not exactly happy about this situation but it's what's best for you and I, especially you. I'm not letting you stay here a moment longer"

“Draven I`m sorry but I can`t let you leave with Katherine. I care about her too much to see her leave,”Will said standing beside Katherine and looking at Draven.

"I care about her too, Will which is why I'm making this decision. I love my sister dearly and I have to do this. Please don't make it harder than it already is" Draven pleaded with him. "You have to try and understand, if you care so much, you'll let her leave" he looked at Katherine "I promise we'll meet up with them again and you know I don't break promises, Katherine, I never have and never will. You'll see everyone again and we can all travel together once more but for now, we have to leave."

Katherine frowned, she didn't want to leave Will but she also knew her brother was just doing what he found best for her. She looked at Will "If I go...I'll see you again. He's right, you know. he really never has broken any promises to me before"

Will sighs and looks at Draven and Katherine.“Then it looks like I`m going with the both of you. I`ll help Katherine get her things and see if Jared and Toby want to come along. Draven I need you to leave a message for Kai and Raiju telling them we`ve gone ahead and me and Katherine will meet you on the outskirts of the town,”Will said not wanting to leave Katherine`s side.

Draven looked at Will, shocked. "You can't be serious, William. After all, you need to stay and talk to Lucille's father, it's something you especially must do considering the fact that he apparently knows something about what happened"

Katherine couldn't help but smile, she wanted him to come along but on the other hand, Draven was right about him needing to talk to Lucille's father. "Will, it's okay, we'll probably see each other soon"

Draven looked at the two curiously "What is going on between the two of you?"

Katherine blushed a bit "What? what do you mean? I just said I'd see him soon"

Draven felt relieved with this answer "I was going to say, I had a talk with Will earlier about Lucille and about how he should apologize to her and get to know her better and he agreed"

Katherine looked over at Will "You what?!" she snapped, she was both angry and shocked by this, but she knew she didn't have any right. They only had said they kind of liked each other, it didn't mean he couldn't go after Lucille. She acted suddenly as if she didn't care "Oh, right, well, that's fine by me. I think you guys make a very cute couple" she smiled, walking past Draven "I'll go get your things at the inn ready and give you some time to get my things and say goodbye to Elizabeth"

Draven blinked, confused about the quickness that she had changed her mind "Will, would you mind coming with me to get Katherine's things?"

“Sure and I`m sure that Lucille`s family doesn`t want to see me and besides if I see her uncle I can`t say that I won`t beat him senseless for what he did to Katherine,”Will said as they neared Jared and Toby`s cave.

Draven laughed with a smile "I understand but I'm sure they wouldn't mind seeing you. As long as her uncle likes you, I'm sure the rest should be okay with you"

Toby looked out at Draven "Hey, I'm Toby" he grinned, putting his hand out

Draven smiled politely and shook his hand "It's nice to meet you Toby. I appreciate that you let my sister stay here but she has to leave now, so I wanted you to know that I am extremely grateful for your kindness"

Toby frowned "Does she have to leave? I liked her"

"Yes, it's for her safety" Draven smiled, grabbing Katherine's things and looking at Will "I suppose I'll see you in a few weeks or so, depending on how long it takes for everything else. I should go and say good-bye to Elizabeth now. Take care of yourself, Will" he smiled, patting him on the shoulder and walking off.

“Draven wait up. I spent the past 10 years seeking answers for the destruction of my village and now I don`t want the answers,”Will said catching up to Draven.“We have something more important to do first, after that is done then I`ll seek out the reason why my family was killed.”

Draven stopped to look at Will "What's more important?" he asked curiously.

“Stopping the ward. I plan to go after the main building but first I need to pay a visit to the place we was held to get the location,”Will said while walking along side his friend.

"Well, okay, if you're sure. But, I really think you should wait and leave with the others. It'd only be fair since Raiju's your closest friend and Katherine must make haste in leaving" he smiled at him "You can always leave tomorrow morning, we shouldn't be too far ahead by then" he said, looking at Katherine who had all of their things and was now waiting. "Come on, Draven, we have to go"

"Alright, aren't you going to say goodbye to Will after making such a fuss?" Draven smirked.

"Oh, yeah, good-bye Will" Katherine smiled politely, walking off.

Draven shrugged, confused, and waved to Will, walking beside his sister as they both stopped at Elizabeth's first. "Elizabeth? I must be going now, I apologize" he said, walking up to her. "I most likely will never see you again and I'm deeply sorry for that but I do hope you have a wonderful life and i'm happy I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful woman like you"

Katherine rolled her eyes but said nothing.

"Oh, Draven, you're too kind!" Elizabeth smiled, a few tears in her eyes as she hugged him. "I'll never forget you, you both take care!" she said, hugging Katherine and then standing back. "Good luck with everything"

"Thank you" Draven smiled. Katherine smiled as well and also thanked her before leaving out the door.

Elizabeth kissed Draven on his cheek "You should get going before your sister leaves without you" she laughed with a smile.

"Yes, I guess I should" Draven laughed "Goodbye Elizabeth" he said, waving at her and leaving with Katherine.

Will waves then shifts to his demon form and starts running towards the forest ward.'I've got to do this myself then I`ll get Kai and Raiju,'Will thought to himself as he neared the forest Ward.

The ward was no longer highly in function like before. After what had happened, no one wanted to work there and it was obvious why, with so many deaths caused by just a few races they had locked up, it was a scary thing.

Will stops at the entrance and shifts into his human form as he walked inside.“Hello is anyone here,”Will said with his hand on the handle of katana at his side.

The place was empty except for a doctor and a few of the cleaning staff due to a high amount of deaths and serious injuries of the staff so the place was being closed down. One of the cleaning staff looked at Will "This place is private property, you're not really allowed to just come in like that, sorry. Is there something you need?"

"Well, except for the 3 of us, he's the only one here, cleaning out his office. I'm probably not supposed to do this but it's down the hall and to the left, he'll most likely be leaving soon so hurry up" the man said, going back to work.

Will nods and follows the directions to the doctors office. Will knocks on the door and waits for a reply.

Doctor Alexander opened the door "Hello...Will?" he asked "Weren't you one of our patients?"

“Yes I was. I`m looking for any info on the other Ward locations and the reason my village was attacked 10 years ago,”Will said looking at the doctor.

The doctor sighed "Well, since this place is being shut down, the others aren't doing so well. Plus the costs are too heavy for us. There are 2 more. One is going out of business just like us and the other is threatened of closing as well, but if you must know there's one actually 10 hours from here, that's the one that's still open but they only test on humans who claim to be of some sort of different race but aren't...they're actually crazy. They're running out of money and their families are sueing so I'm afraid that that business is being shut down which is such a shame" the doctor frowned. "Anyways, as far as your village and the information, I know nothing about that. But, I must get going now. I have a job interview at a hospital today. Goodbye" he said, walking away.

Draven looked over at Katherine as they walked "So, how are you?" he smiled, striking up conversation. He hadn't been alone with his sister in so long and he wanted to get to know her better.

"Oh, I'm just peachy" Katherine answered, rolling her eyes and looking to the side for a moment before looking back ahead as they walked.

Draven nodded. She didn't seem to be in a good mood and he didn't know what to say to cheer her up, so, he stayed quiet for a bit as they walked.

“Thank you for your time and for saving my life 10 years ago when I was first brought here,”Will said as he was walking to the entrance.

The 3 men watched him leave after the doctor and went back to their work, closing up when they were finished.

Draven pointed out a pretty small run down place up ahead. "How about that for tonight?"

Katherine made a disgusted face "What? I'm not staying in there! It's probably filled with bugs!"

Draven laughed "Katherine, it'll be fine. Come on" he smiled. He slowly opened the door, looking inside and seeing it filled with cob webs but other than being a little dirty it was okay and he saw a lake nearby so he could wash the things on the bed. He put their things inside and started to swat down the old spider webs, taking a nearby broom and sweeping some of the dust out. He was just happy that it had 2 bedrooms. He started to take the sheets and everything off of the bed "I'm going to wash this stuff down by the lake. You should stay here and you can clean up a bit, see what all is in here" Draven smiled at her before leaving.

Katherine sighed and looked in the cupboards, not seeing anything except a cup or two. She went over and wiped down the couch cushions and then shook them outside. Once she found them clean enough she put them back on the couch and went into the first bedroom to the left, not seeing much in there and then the second bedroom.

Will shifts back into his demon form and makes the long run back to the town to find Sam so he could talk to his brother in law.

Sam spotted Will, he was just about to go home, too. "Hey. You need somethin'?" he asked.

Will stops and returns to his human form.“I still need to talk to your brother in law if it possible and I`m sorry I left the way I did. Katherine didn`t mean no harm to anyone in this town. She is a kind hearted person and a friend of mine,”Will said looking at Sam.

"Alright, I'll walk you to his house, it's not too far from mine" Same said as he walked, looking at Will "I call them like I see them, son and I don't like her. I'm sorry that it may be hard for you to hear bad things about her seeing as she's your friend but I really just don't like her" he said, stopping at a big house. "That's it" he said "his name's Evan and he usually answers the door so it'll be fine" he smiled, leaving.

“Thank you Sam,”Will said as he walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell.

Evan looked out the window and saw Will then opened the door "yes?" he asked.

“My name is William Blackfire and I was hopeing you could tell me about the attack on the werewolf village 10 years ago,”Will said to Evan.

Evan looked in his house and called to his wife "I'll be back in a few minutes honey!" he said, closing the door and stepping outside "I'd offer you to come inside but my family doesn't know much about it. All I can tell you is that I was friends with this guy named Alex who told me about his horrible past. he told me that he and some of his men had destroyed an entire village and how he didn't think anyone survived. I never told anyone and I still won't because I promised him I wouldn't tell, no matter how wrong it is. Plus he threatened to kill my family if I told and I couldn't put their lives in danger of course. I'm sorry but I can't tell you much more, that man knows everything, though. I know he lives in the woods"

“Evan, Alex won`t be coming after you and your family ever. I am the only survivor of that village and I`m sorry to say that he died by my hand for killing my family,”Will said feeling sorry for Evan.

Evan shook his head "Don't be sorry, I'm sorry for what happened to you. Although I'm sorry that he's dead I understand why you did it" he heard his wife call for him and looked at Will "Well, I've got to go, don't want to keep a woman waiting" he smirked "Good luck, William Blackfire" he said, leaving back inside.

Will nods and runs off to find Draven and Katherine to tell them the news he had found out.

Draven didn't mind cleaning, he never did since he'd had to care for Katherine so soon in life with the murdering of their parents. After he had the bed sheets and blankets and even the cases washed, he brought the whole bundle back with him, having Katherine help him set them up outside to dry. "I'm going to have a look around, would you like to come with me?" Draven asked.

"No, I want to be alone" Katherine answered, walking into the room she'd chosen and closing the door behind her then the click of the lock was heard.

Draven sighed, she'd been in such a bad mood since leaving. "Alright, well have fun, Katherine! I'll try not to be too long!" he smiled. He had to keep himself in a cheerful mood, hoping it'd catch onto Katherine at some point.

Will stops about 2 miles north of town to rest since he was beyond tired.'I`ll stop and rest here for a bit and then continue,'thought Will as sits against a tree and closes his eyes.

Draven had come back to find out that the bed things were finally dry and brought them in. "Katherine, open up, you have to put your blankets and sheets on your bed"

Katherine opened up, grabbing the things he gave to her then closed and locked her door again.

Draven blinked and stood there for a moment then sighed and made his own bed for the night. "You know, I thought this was supposed to be a fun bonding thing here but you sure do have quite an attitude on you" he muttered to himself, already regretting leaving with her.

Toby grinned "Hey! Jared and I never got to really say good-bye to you so I came to say good-bye! Do you really have to leave?" he asked. He had come a bit of a ways from the cave to track him down but he at least wanted to say good-bye before he never saw him again.

“Oh Sorry bout that. I had a few things I needed to take care of,”Will said opening his eyes and looking at Toby.

"Oh, so you're done now? You can come back?" Toby asked, hopeful.

“Yea I`ll come back. I`ll find Draven and Katherine later,”Will said getting up.“You up for a race back?”

"Sure" Toby grinned, turning into his werewolf form and running as fast as he could.

About 2 hours later or so, Katherine noticed the house was quiet and slowly opened her door, seeing Draven asleep on the couch. She really did feel guilty for taking out all of her anger on him and she knew she'd have to apologize later. She opened the door and quietly closed it behind her, wanting to just go for a small walk. She went into the nearby woods and started walking when she saw someone hunched over. When he heard her he looked directly at her, his eyes cold and his mouth smeared with blood. Katherine gasped but noticed he was a vampire when she saw the fangs. He noticed she was as well when she gasped and put down the lifeless body of a rabbit, wiping the blood off of his face and onto his jacket's arm. "My name is Elijah" he said. "I'm sorry for the gruesome view"

Katherine nodded and smiled a bit "I'm Katherine" she said, remembering having a childhood friend named Elijah.

Elijah looked at her curiously "Katherine...you have a brother named Draven? Big mean guy?"

Katherine laughed "Yes! Well, I don't know about mean unless you really upset him"

"Yeah, well you know he hated me" Elijah chuckled "How've you been though?! It's been years, I haven't seen you since...you know" Elijah said, not wanting to mention her parents' death.

Katherine nodded, smiling sadly "I know...I'm sorry"

"No don't be, you lost your parents, I understood you disappearing the way you did" Elijah smiled softly at her. "You look great, Katherine! Where are you staying?"

Katherine grinned "Well thank you, Draven and I are actually staying at that little house up there"

"That disgusting little place? It's filled with dust and cobwebs!" Elijah stated.

"Not anymore, Draven and I cleaned it up, although he did most of it" Katherine smirked.

Elijah laughed "Well, I'm just travelling so I'm afraid I can't visit for you long but I'd love to stop over if that's okay with you and spend some time with you!"

Katherine smiled "of course! we'll just have to be quiet so as not to wake Draven, he's pretty tired" she said, walking into the door but Draven opened up his eyes "Katherine, who's that?" he asked, looking at Elijah angrily.

"Oh calm down, it's Elijah! My old friend from when I was a little girl!" Katherine laughed, obviously excited to have found him again after all of these years.

"You mean the kid that tried to kiss your cheek before I about beat him senseless" Draven muttered.

Katherine smirked "Yes, him" she said.

Elijah walked in, a bit shy when around Draven. "Hey Draven, it's good to see you again"

"It's a shame I can't say the same. Katherine, he can't come in" Draven said seriously.

Katherine rolled her eyes "We'll talk outside" she smirked at him, going and finding a comfortable place to sit so she could catch up on things with him.

Will starts running at his top speed catching up to Toby, giving him a wave, and speeding past him shifting to his wolf form at the same time.

Toby started panting, he was really out of shape. He came to the cave last and panted, turning into his human form "Geez, you're so fast" he said after he'd caught his breath, sitting down to rest. He was really tired since it was starting to get late "Well, I don't want to be rude and just go to sleep now but I'm pretty tired" he laughed "Are you tired as well?"

Elijah sat next to her "So, your brother still hates me" he grinned "But what have you been doing all of this time?"

Katherine explained to him everything that had happened to her about the ward, leaving out travelling with others for a while.

"I can't believe they had a place like that open" Elijah said, looking angry "That's horrible!" he clenched his fists, some humans were so stupid. "I'm just glad you're okay, Katherine, that you escaped. If I would have known I'd have come and got you" he said, looking at her, feeling guilty.

"Oh don't feel bad, Elijah, you didn't know" Katherine smiled "Besides, I'm out now and that's what counts!"

Elijah nodded in agreement. "So...are you married or anything?"

"Oh no, of course not! I'm never getting married" Katherine laughed "What about you?"

"Nah, I'm not going to get involved with how I travel and all...although I hope if I ever do I find a girl just like you" he smiled, leaning in a bit closer to her.

Katherine panicked a bit "Elijah, I-I can't kiss you" she said, leaning back away from him "I'm sorry..."

Elijah shook his head and smiled, standing up "Don't be, I'm sorry I tried that once again and once again failed" he chuckled. "I should go...bye Katherine, you take care" he said, leaving.

Katherine frowned, watching him leave. She saw Draven not too far away "Geez, were you watching the whole thing?!"

"Of course! I had to make sure you were okay! I just can't believe he tried to kiss you again!" Draven glared, suddenly smiling "And you rejected him! I was so proud of you!"

"Yeah well it's not what you think so don't you go getting all excited" Katherine muttered, going inside to sleep.

Draven looked at her curiously and shrugged, going in to sleep as well.

“Its the vampire blood I was injected with. I got a major speed boost and I`m able to heal myself and others, although the greater the wound the more of my strenght is used,”Will said sitting down.

"Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about that now, that's really a nice ability to have" Toby grinned, stretching out on his sleeping bag "It's so comfortable in here" he yawned, falling asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow and snoring.

Will shifts to his demon form and lays down next to the wall of the cave, his nine tails wrapped around him as he falls to sleep.

Draven had woken up early-ish to go and find something to eat. It wasn't too warm in that small house and he noticed a few small holes in the ceiling he hadn't seen before. He didn't need to worry about it though since they'd most likely start off again sometime today.

Toby turned over in his sleep, hugging onto Will closely, smelling him "Smell...good" he muttered in his sleep as he dreamt that Will was Katherine.

Will feels someone close to him but continues to sleep as a couple of his tails move around.

Toby went to pucker up and kiss Will's cheek but Jared came in just in time "Hey, what the heck is going in with you two?!" he asked, disgusted and mortified.

Toby quickly sat up "Wha-what? You woke me up from a good dream!" he glared.

"....that was some dream..." Jared said, shuddering in disgust "You almost kissed Will..."

Toby looked horrified "What?! I-I did? ew!"

"yeah, ew is right, especially for me" Jared laughed. "What are you doing here Will, I thought you'd left"

"He's leaving today, but at least now you can say good-bye to him as well!" Toby grinned.

Will wakes up after hearing Jared`s voice.“Ok time for me to get going. I`ll try to be back around as soon as I can,”Will said as he got up and being careful not to hit anything with his tails.

Jared laughed "Alright, bye Will! Take care!"

"Yeah, and tell the good smelling girl I say hi!" Toby grinned as he stretched out, getting something to eat with Jared.

“Will do,”Wil said as he ran out of the cave. Will didn`t ge a mile away from the cave when he almost hit Kai.“Yo whats up Kai.”

"Nothing, just going to get Audria" Kai grinned "You?"

“Tracking down Draven and Katherine. Looks like the Ward is done for. Our breakout has cost them and they have shut down completely,”Will said looking at Kai.

"That's great news!" Kai responded, looking behind him and seeing Audria "Well, good luck on hunting them down!" he grinned, going up to Audria and walking off with her.

Will nods as he picks up Katherine`s scent and starts to follow it running at half of his speed to conserve energy.

When Will reached the small house, Draven had just went to walk in "Ah, William, hello!" he smiled

“How is every thing Draven,”Will said as he shifted to his human form.

"Well, I could say I've done better" Draven smiled, walking into the house "And you?" he asked.

“I went by the Ward and found out that our escape had cost them and that they have shut down completely. And that my village was destroyed for no reason by the very man that had Katherine kidnapped, who also killed my family,”Will said following Draven inside.

"Are you serious?! That's wonderful news! All except for the part about the man who destroyed your village" Draven frowned "I'm sorry Will, are you okay?" he asked.

“I`m fine so it looks like I`m free to do some traveling now with you and Katherine,”Will said with a smile.

"Really? Well that's also good news!" Draven smiled, then whispering to Will "We'll probably be leaving soon sometime today, Katherine's been in a bad mood ever since she left yesterday" "hey Katherine! did you hear what Will said?"

"No and I don't care to either!" Katherine said behind the door.

"Katherine come on, you can be mean to me but you shouldn't be mean to Will, he found out about the person who attacked his village" Draven said.

Katherine frowned, she was so mad at him but at the same time she felt bad and wanted to make sure he was okay. She opened her door but didn't step out "Are you okay?" she asked Will.

“I`m ok how about you,”Will said looking at Katherine.“You still have the sword I gave you.”

"I'm perfectly fine" Katherine lied, smiling a bit "Yes, I still have the sword you gave me. It's under my pillow"

“Its good that you still have the sword but there is something bothering you,”Will said with a worried look on his face.

"No, there's nothing bothering me at all" Katherine forced a smile "Anyways, I'm going to go and...make my bed I guess" she said, wanting to get away from him. She closed the door behind her.

"Don't mind her, her mood will probably change" Draven smiled, sitting on the couch "I'm actually quite proud of her. She met an old...acquaintance last night and he had tried to kiss her but she totally rejected him. I about wanted to rip him apart for trying though" he muttered.

“Well thats good. Tell Katherine if she wants to join me I`ll be outside doing some sword training,”Will said walking outside.

Draven nodded and saw that Katherine came out right when Will went outside. "You're done that fast?"

"Yes" Katherine lied So, I wanted to apologize...well, about how I've been. I kinda took it out on you when I shouldn't have, so I'm sorry"

Draven smiled "Well that's very nice of you, Katherine, thank you. Do you care to share?"

"No, not at all" Katherine laughed "Just me being stupid to be honest, anyways, I'm going to go for a walk. Who knows, maybe Elijah is hanging around still" she teased with a grin.

"He better not be" Draven muttered "Oh, William said that he's outside training and that you can join him if you'd like. I think it's really wonderful that he's teaching you" he smiled

Katherine ignored his comment and stepped outside "Having fun?" she asked with a smile, standing in the shade since it was so sunny out.

“Yes I am. I meant what I said the other day. I`ll always be here if you need me,”Will said as he trained with his sword.

Katherine sighed, she really wished he'd stop saying stuff like that, it just made her confused. "Yeah...thanks I guess" she smiled "Well, I'm going for a walk. Have fun with your training.." she said, walking off into the woods.

“Will do,”Will said as he drew his other sword and started training with both out.

Draven came out to watch Will train "You're really good with those swords" he commented with a smile.

Katherine jumped when she felt a hand grab her mouth to silent her and then turned around to see it was Elijah. She turned to look at him "What are you doing here?" she asked "I thought you'd left"

"I-Well I was going to Katherine. But, I...I came to ask you if maybe you wanted to come with me? Look, before rejecting me, you've known me for a long time and I'm sorry if the kiss attempt was too sudden, I don't know what was wrong with me. I just...I've liked you for so long. Ever since we were kids"

Katherine smiled at him "Elijah, I like you too, just not like that. I can't go with you because I'm going with my brother...and...well Will"

"Will? who's that? you never mentioned him before" Elijah countered.

"I know, but it's just because I was mad at him and I still kind of am although I shouldn't be" Katherine said, knowing she must have sounded crazy. "Anyways, I'm sorry, but look, there are other girls out there and-"

"Yeah, I've heard that line before by your mother when she told me to leave you alone 'there are other girls out there, she's not the only one.'"

"Elijah, stop trying to make me feel bad" Katherine frowned, stepping towards him "I'm sorry, hug?" she asked.

"No...I can't hug you because then I'll just want to do more...just...are you sure you don't want to come with me?" Elijah asked.

"Yes, I'm positive, I'm so sorry, Elijah.." Katherine frowned.

"Yeah...me too" Elijah said, walking away.

Draven saw Elijah and went to say something when Elijah beat him to it "Rejected me a third time...then a fourth...you've got her trained well" he sighed as he walked off down the road.
Draven watched him leave, a small part of him felt bad but 99.9 percent of him was happy, he had never liked Elijah anyways.

“I had a good teacher in Raiju but the dual swords was my idea,”Will said as he trained focusing on both blade at the same time.

"It's nice that you've learned from him and then added something yourself" Draven said "Did you catch on fast with your training?"

Katherine walked slowly through the woods, she knew she shouldn't but she felt so guilty. she heard crying and looked up, seeing a small wolf in a trap. One of the many reasons she hated humans. She sighed and ran up to the wolf, which seemed more scared than aggressive. "You poor thing" she frowned, letting it sniff her hand before she petted it and then went to release it's leg from the trap. She walked back to the house and noticed it follow her as it limped and couldn't help but smile, it was so cute!

Draven watched as the small wolf cub followed Katherine into the house "What's going on?!"

Katherine laughed and ignored Draven, getting a cloth and cleaning up its wound.

The pack of wolves it belonged with smelled the blood and followed the scent of the cub, going to the house. They started to surround Will and Draven growling.

"Great, she brings a wolf home and then WE get in trouble for it" Draven sighed. "Katherine, let that thing go!"

“Easy Draven,”Will said as he put away his swords and shifted to his wolf form.

The wolves backed of a little, but still growled angrily at them.

Katherine let it go once she'd cleaned it up "What's wrong with you-oh...wow, that's a lot of wolves"

The puppy ran up to them, playfully biting and when they saw that it wasn't in danger, they backed off and started to leave.

Draven sighed "That certainly was scary" he looked at Katherine "No more letting wild animals follow you home"

"I can't help it, they do it themselves" Katherine smirked. "Although...I really would like to have a puppy" she grinned.

"no way, we'd be travelling all of the time, it's not a good idea" Draven said, walking in and leaving her to make his point.

Katherine rolled her eyes, she'd just get a puppy anyways, she wasn't going to listen to what her brother told her. She sat on the porch and put the sword beside her and then looked at the dagger she'd found the other day, tracing it carefully, watching Will every once in a while.

Will sighs and shifts back to his human form and re draws his swords to pick up where he left off.'Its a good thing wolves are afraid of werewolves or there could`ve been a problem,'thought Will as he trained.

"Will?" Katherine said, playing with the dagger while looking at him "I'm sorry for acting...strange with you...you just...you confused me with what you said and then what I was told. Well. I want everything between us to go back to normal"

“Its ok really I`m not mad so no hard feeling right,”Will said with a smile as he trained.

Katherine sighed, feeling better since she'd talked to him about it. She looked over at Draven who'd come out.

"Katherine, Will, are you two ready to leave?" Draven asked.

"I'm fine either way" Katherine answered with a smile.

"Okay, well I think we should keep moving, so I'll get our stuff and we can start leaving" Draven said, going inside and grabbing their things. he made sure to put in the pillows and blankets in the bag as well then stepped outside. "Well, let's go" he smiled, walking down the road.

Katherine nodded and started walking, keeping quiet and to herself as she did, straying behind Draven.

“yea I`m ready,”Will said as he put away his swords and started walking with Draven and Katherine.

"You know, I never did ask you" Draven said, shocked that he hadn't asked before. "What about Raiju and Kai, do they know where we're going and everything?"

“I ran into Kai this morning and let him know what I had found out about the Ward and I couldn`t find Raiju but I`m not worried he has a knack for finding me,”Will said as he walked.

"Good, I'm glad to hear that, I didn't want them to just be left behind" Draven laughed. "You know...not to be the bearer of negativity but since the wards are closed, we don't really need to travel together anymore. Although, I do love traveling with all of you"

Katherine looked at Draven "Are you saying that I can go on my own way then?" she grinned.

"No, not at all! I'm afraid you're stuck with me for as long as you live" Draven smirked. He was always going to stay with her and protect her for as long as he lived.

“True but it doesn`t mean we still can`t help others out,”Will said walking.“Yea the Ward may be closed but that doesn't mean others won`t try to do the same thing again.”

"That's true" Draven agreed.

Katherine sighed and smirked when she saw a huge field of sunflowers just ahead. "Catch me if you can" she grinned, running ahead and disappearing through the maze of sunflowers.

"K-Katherine! Wait up! That's not safe!" Draven called after her as he ran towards the field of flowers.

Katherine jumped a bit and laughed "You're lucky you're so fast with all of the abilities you have or else you wouldn't have been able to find me so fast" she smirked, playfully poking his chest and then running again.

Draven was behind them, lost in the sunflowers "Ugh, you two! You're acting childish!"

"Or you're just acting like a big bore!" Katherine laughed as she started to run again.

Will laughed again and took off running again, this time not watching where he was going and ran into a lake in the middle of the sunflower patch.“That was not what I meant to do,”Will said as he got out of the lake soaked.

When Katherine came upon him she started to laugh "Look at you, you're soaked" she laughed with a smirk, finding humor in his incident. "I could just push you again for fun" she teased with a grin.

“you could try,”Will smirked as he started to run at half of his speed.

Katherine laughed and was able to grab him by the back of his jacket and pushed him gently into the lake again "How's it feel in there?" she laughed.

“Cold and wet,”Will said getting out and takeing off his jacket.“Come on lets find your brother.”

Katherine smirked and nodded, walking along side of him when she came upon Draven. "Ugh, these flowers are so big and in the way!" he complained, muttering, then noticing that Will was wet. "What happened to you?"

"he fell in the lake" Katherine giggled

“oh nothing just ran in to a lake at full speed,”Will said as he rung some water out of his jacket.

"Well that's very unfortunate" Draven laughed

"Would you like to match him?" Katherine grinned

Draven looked at her "Of course not and don't you dare get any ideas in your head!"

Katherine laughed "Alright, alright" she smirked, walking off in the maze of flowers.

Will stands there for a second then starts walking through the sunflower maze trying to get more water out of his jacket.

"Sorry about your jacket" Draven laughed a bit. "Katherine? Katherine!" he called out, but sighed when she didn't answer him. "She better not be trying to scare me" he muttered, being more careful with each step.

Katherine had stopped when she saw a rattlesnake draw its head at her, frozen in fear and afraid to make any sudden movements, she stood there, hoping Draven or Will would come across her soon enough so they could kill it but she doubted this in her mind since she was a bit further ahead of them.

“Its ok at lest its clean now,”Will said as they came up on Katherine and the rattle snake.Will grabs the snake by the head and slings it over his head behind him and hears it splash in the lake.

Katherine breathed in heavily "T-thank you" she stammered.

"Katherine, are you alright?" Draven asked

"Yes, I think so" Katherine sighed with a smile.

"Well good, no more running off ahead, that's my job" Draven winked with a smile, walking ahead of both of them, watching to make sure they were walking safely.

“No problem. I just hope that snake can swim,”Will said smiling a little as he started walking.

Katherine laughed at his statement and smiled, she went to say something then hesitated. "So, how long do you plan to stay with Draven and I?" she asked, looking over at him.

“Don`t really know. I don`t really have a home to go back to so travelling seems like a good idea,”Will said to Katherine as they walked.

Katherine nodded "Would you keep in touch with me somehow if you ever ended up going your own way?" she asked.

“Sure I`d be happy to,”Will said to Katherine smiling.

Katherine smiled back then frowned, thinking about something and walking a bit faster so she was't too far behind Draven as she thought to herself.

Will keeps walking and starts thinking where Raiju could have disappeared to.

Raiju was deep in thought as he sat at the bar, things had been hectic ever since he rescued Will and the others and now he was taking the opportunity to collect his thoughts in peace.

Will keeps walking and starts looking for something that he could eat.

Lucille sat next to Raiju "Hey, what's going on?" she smiled, happy to see that his friends weren't around.

Draven sighed as he put their things down "I say we take a break" he sighed, sitting down.

Raiju looks over to Lucille "oh hey Lucille, I'm just getting my thoughts in order now that my friends an I have the chance to relax"

"Where are your friends then?" Lucille asked, hoping they wouldn't be around anytime soon.

Will stops and looks around“Yea i`m going to look for something to eat,”Will said as he walked to the treeline.

Draven looked to the direction that Will went "Alright, be careful!" he called out.

Will found a couple of bucks and had them killed in a few minutes. As he skinned them, Will collected the blood from both deer and put it into 2 jars that he sealed when he was done. Will then built a small fire so he could cook the meat.

Raiju smirked "all over the place from what I can tell" he replied with a silent chuckle.

"They left?" Lucille asked, keeping a straight face although she was pretty excited on the inside. She couldn't really stand any of them except for Kai.

Raiju could see in her eyes the emotions she was trying to hide but didn't let on that he knew "pretty much, they're all off doing their own things" he said casually as he gave her a kind smile.

"Oh, are you going to join up with them?" Lucille asked, noticing she was asking a lot of questions "Sorry" she said sheepishly.

Raiju smiled "it's alright, I don't really know, we might meet up at the inn we're staying at later but for now they're just enjoying themselves" he explained casually.

“Ever since I was little. Oh the jars of blood are for you and Katherine,”Will said as he cooked the meat.

"You were young when you did all of this? Seems a bit too much for a child" Draven frowned. "Thank you for the blood, Will, that was very generous of you"

"Do you like it? Traveling so much I mean" Lucille asked. "I don't think I'd like walking so much and leaving people behind, it sounds pretty depressing"

Raiju smiled at her "I do make friends as I go but staying in one place too long can cause....problems" his voice lowered slightly as his finished, he knew very few who were comfortable with a elemental demon among them.

"What kind of problems?" Lucille whispered curiously.

"I'm not exactly what you'd consider 'normal'" Raiju replied as he looked into her eyes.
