2010-09-15 [kiradraco]: -Smiles-It is good to know there are decent parents and young men out there. Dee has made a point of teaching our son Alexis that you treat women with respect. His father was rather abusive and after his parents split up he lived with his mother. He is determined not to let his son turn out like his father. We both make a big point about teaching our children to treat others as they wish to be treated. Honestly it has surprised me to find out how most people don't teach their kids such basic things. >.<

2010-09-16 [Arwen Elf Friend]: It makes me smile to know you and Dee are raising your children that way. With this job I have seen far too many parents not teach their child the basic things like The Golden Rule. It's really sad. We just have to do the best we can with our children and hope they pass it on to the next generation.

2010-09-16 [kiradraco]: Yep that is all we can hope for. The truly amazing thing is I leaned these basic rules despite my upbringing. My father is too childish and self absorbed and my mother is an outright bitch to me and says one thing but does another. I hope I pass basic deciency on to my children by example and not how I learned them. >.<
