"squash the uprising! Defend the state! Down with the Democrats!"

"...that country where it is always turning late in the year. That country where the hills are fog and the rivers are mist; where noons go quickly, dusks and twilights linger, and mid-nights stay. That country composed in the main of cellars, sub-cellars, coal-bins, closets, attics, and pantries faced away from the sun. That country whose people are autumn people, thinking only autumn thoughts. Whose people passing at night on the empty walks sound like rain..."

This is an every year event.
Have you started yet?
tonight (4:45 pm) is the perfect time for driving thirty some odd miles to sit in a park and a) listen to strange children talk about drugs and fucking, and wonder a loud to the invisible octopus sitting next to you on the swings whatever happened to not being an asshole("and oh, wally! don't those stairs look FABULOUS?") or, b) watch a man in in a black trench coat, a man in a flannel shirt and a little old woman hid little black boxes and manilla envelopes in birch trees.
They both seem like mighty fine options to me. :]
Hey guys.

Sleep? Sleep? Sleep.
