*impatiently checking the extranet again, knowing I have weeks of waiting ahead of me*

Well, it's always improving. :) Those mods deserve a lot of credit for the number of tickets they process!

Cool. Making nice progress.
In other news, the fever is gone, but the sniffles remain.
The kids are having great fun with a couple of oversized jigsaw puzzles.
Production has begun on a series of heraldic banners to decorate the feast hall for a 14th-century reenactment event for the birthday of Edward the Black Prince of Wales. I have most of them hemmed, and will begin painting them soon.
Only one of the kids' dolls is still lacking clothes, a situation that should be remedied by the end of the day. Sewing teeny, tiny pants and shirts for the male fashion dolls is hard on the fingers, but the boys appreciate it.
Getting there: 2622 out of 2748.
Ticket #414229 is currently in place 2793 out of 2793.
And so the waiting begins again. I just uploaded 12 dragons and 5 older drawings to the queue.
Yes!! My Elfwood ticket has been published!
I'm putting together my next ticket as soon as I submit this.
Story:
Driving home this afternoon, we were listening to the local country music station. "Ten Rounds of Jose' Cuervo" came on, and Tommy, age 4, started singing along. He was really getting into it. His aunt, who was sitting in the back with the kids, asked him if he'd go six rounds, just to see what he'd say.
Tommy's eyes got big. "NO WAY!" He said. "I'd be way full after five rounds!"
We all started laughing, then Tommy said, "I had one round today. I got marshmallows in it!" The laughter redoubled. He was thinking of the tiny cup of hot chocolate he'd had at playgroup, of course.
He was just so serious!
(I also posted this at ESYC.)
Story:
Robby, age 3, came to me with his hair and shirt soaked. I asked him why he was wet.
He said, "Tommy peed on me."
Tommy, age 4, perked up. "Yep, I did."
"Why?" I asked.
"I just wanted to."
AAAARGH!!!!! LOL
Pictures of the kids at last week's Valentine party (I added the scan of their crafts to that day's diary entry):
*wimper, pout, sulk* My fever is back. I was afraid the busy day would set me back. :(
I'm in place 431 out of 2776. Getting there.
It's been a busy day, though not as bad as last week. We were up earlier than usual, so I'm extra sleepy now.
The kids had a great time at library story/play time. This week's theme was Snow. After stories and songs, they each made a snowman head out of a small plastic maraca. When crafts were done, they had a snack, including hot chocolate with marshmallows.
We spent some extra time at the library after the group ended. The kids took turns pulling each other around the children's room on plastic sleds.
We had Tommy's therapy session after that. I hope the plan we worked out for getting him to clean up better will work.
Lewis had bags of McDonalds when he picked us up, and we came home to have lunch.
Hmm. It doesn't sound like as busy a day as it feels.
Place 455 out of 2769. Moving right along.
Well, I got through the day. I kept the soup down, and some gingerale. Not wanting to push my luck, I had noodle soup and gingerale for all three meals today.
I'm up to place 511 in the queue. Am I impatient? I sure am! But look: the mods processed 61 tickets today! At that rate, it should only be another week or so.
