Sure do wish I could post this on my house. But no, I have to put it in my diary.

I. The Books
Put the books in order from favourite to least favourite. DH, PoA, HBP, PS, GoF, CS, OotP

How many times have you read the series? In a row, four. But I’ve read all of the books separately many, many times.

Favourite chapter? The Prince’s Tale, The Cave, The Patronus

What are your five favourite quotes from the books? Oh God.
“’DON'T--’ Screamed Snape, and his face was suddenly demented, inhuman, as though he was in as much pain as the yelping, howling, dog stuck in the burning house behind them --‘CALL ME A COWARD!’”

‘“I am not worried, Harry. I am with you.”’ -Dumbledore

“’And what would you say to Harry if you knew he was listening, Romulus?’
‘I’d tell him we’re all with him in spirit,” said Lupin, then hesitated slightly, ‘And I’d tell him to follow his instincts, which are good and nearly always right.’”

“’Good luck, Harry, wherever you are.’
‘If you read this, Harry, we’re all behind you!’
‘Long live Harry Potter.’”

“’Look…at…me…’ he whispered.”

Biggest surprise: Snape with Dumbledore. After I read it for the first time, I had to close the book and reboot my mind.

Biggest Let-down: I was never let down. This series has helped me experience every emotion I could ever possibly feel.

One character you'd bring back to life: Yes, Fred. My heart would say Remus, so he could raise Ted, but I think that, as much as it depresses me to say so, Remus needed to pass on.

Favourite Harry moment: It would definitely have to be the combined scene when he’s with his loved ones in the Forest and when confronts Voldemort with “You weren’t.”

Favourite Ron moment: I know his heroic moments are amazing, but the slugs will forever stay as my favorite.

Favourite Hermione moment: Her defiant moment with Scrimgeour. “No, I’m not. I’m hoping to do some good in the world!”

Favourite Ginny moment: God I love Ginny. How can I choose? “I told her it’s a Hungarian Horntail. Much more macho.” lmfao.

Favourite Neville moment: When he stands up to Voldemort, an obviously more frightening figure than Snape. “I’ll join you when hell freezes over. Dumbledore’s Army!”

Favourite Luna moment: At the end of OotP when she’s searching for her belongings. I felt so bad for her, but I was so impressed, too. I love Luna.

Favourite Snape moment: In the tower after he killed Dumbledore and in Dumbledore’s office after Lily died.

Favourite Dumbledore moment: Oh God. I have no idea. Probably throughout the entire chapters of The Cave and King’s Cross.

Favourite Voldemort moment: I hate him.

Favourite Sirius moment: When he’s leaving Hogwarts in the third book. “We’ll see each other again. You are -- truly your father’s son, Harry….”

Favourite Weasley family moment: I will always love when we first meet them in Philosopher’s Stone.

Favourite Draco moment: In DH when he doesn’t give away Harry, Ron, and Hermione to the Snatchers.

Moment that will always make you cry: Kreacher leading the elves into battle. Actually, that whole chapter. At that point, I’m just so overwhelmed with emotion I don’t know what to do with it all except bawl. I didn’t cry when Snape died, but I sobbed when I read the chapter after it. Oh, and definitely the scene with Harry right before confronting Voldemort in the forest… with the stone and all his family.

II. The Films
Put the films in order from favourite to least favourite: SS, CS, PoA, and then I hate the other two. In fact, if it weren’t for Lupin, I’d hate the PoA, too. SS and CS actually felt magical.

Actor most like the book character: Fred and George.

Actor least like the book character: I really have to say Dumbledore. Especially later on in the series. ESPECIALLY in OotP.

Favourite film set: Actually, I love the Dursley’s home.

Three Favourite lines from films: All the funny lines. I hate the dramatic film moments; they suck.

Favourite film scene: Oh every scene in the first two. I loved those movies.

Favourite scene in the films not included in the books: Meh. I don’t have any. Well, that’s a lie. I did crack up when Snape kept pestering Ron and Harry in GoF when they’re talking about dates to the ball, but that wasn’t entirely made up in the film.

Scene you were most disappointed didn't make it into the film: I’m sure there’s one I was really upset about, but I don’t remember. Did they include a screaming Harry at the end of OotP? Because if they didn’t I would be very upset.

III. The Universe
Five Favourite Characters: Remus, Snape, Hermione, Draco, Dumbledore

Three Least Favourite Characters: Umbridge (ugh), Fudge, Prof. Binns

Favourite member of the Trio: Hermione.

Three Favourite magical creatures: I love love love the nifflers. Kneazles are the bomb, and I was rather fond of the screwts.

Favourite family: Well, the Weasleys, yes, but I absolutely loved the moment when Neville’s Grandmother came into the Room of Requirement.

Favourite villain: I think Snape should count, even though he’s also my favorite hero.

Favourite Death Eater: Tie between Snape and Draco. Did Draco ever become an actual Death Eater?

Favourite non-Hogwarts magical building: I loved the description of the Lovegoode’s.

Favourite Diagon Alley location: The Apocathary.  It just sounds cool.

Three Favourite Spells: Muffliato, Expectro Patronum, and Ridikkulus

Three Favourite Potions: Veritaserum, Felix Felicis, and the bone-growing one…. Skelegrow, I think.

Favourite Unforgivable Curse: Um. I think Imperio. I would use it for fun things. Like making Zach do my laundry.

Favourite Department of Mysteries Room: Definitely the place with all the prophecies. The description gave me the chills.

Favourite kind of transportation: Floo. Love it.

Favourite Weasley: Molly….no, Ginny. Well, maybe one of those two.

Favourite Order member: Remus, of course.

Favourite pet: Crookshanks! Though, Hedwig was pretty derrn ba, herself.

Favourite Hogwarts room: I loved the great hall.

Favourite class: Charms.

Favourite teacher: McGonagall

Favourite DADA teacher: Dreamy Remy.

Least favourite teacher: Umbridge or Binns… can’t really decide. Goblin wars, yuck.

Favourite non-human Hogwarts resident: Haha, I would have to say Moaning Myrtle, or the Grey Lady. I have no idea.

Favourite Hogsmeade location: The Shrieking Shack.

Favourite Triwizard Champion: Um, Harry. Duh.

Favourite Triwizard Task: I loved love loved the second task.

If you had to resort the trio, so one had to go to each different House and none could remain in Gryffindor, who would go where and why? And keep Harry from becoming a Darth Vader? Hermione into Ravenclaw, Ron into Slytherin, and Harry into Hufflepuff, no matter how sexy a Syltherin!Harry would be. Bad. That would be very bad.

Which qualities do you see in Harry that are distinctly not Gryffindor ones? Definitely the attachment he holds in his friends and any parental figures. I think that’s more Hufflepuff.

Severus Snape - Innately good or innately evil? Self motivated or really Dumbledore's man? Um, I love Snape. He is a horrible man, but his characterization is outstanding. I believe that he longed to be innately good, especially after Voldemort killed Lily. And I believe he was more self-motivated than anything.

How do you feel about James Potter and the Marauders? Well, I will always hate Sirius as a character, I think. I am just disgusted with him. I think that James was a dick when he was younger but he obviously grew up quite a bit. Peter makes me … I can’t even describe. The thought of a younger Peter kind of makes me pity him, but the older Peter… I thought of many tortures for him… anyway… we all know my feelings for Remus. He has his faults, but… love is blind.

IV. The Fandom
How long have you been a HP fan? In between PoA and GoF, almost right before GoF came out. I actually listened to the first two on tape, before reading any of them, and that’s what hooked me. It was much more magical, I think. (I now have all the books on my iPod and listen to them as I go to sleep).

Favourite wizard rock band: Whoever Mr. and Mrs. Weasley danced to in the … sixth book. (I think sixth).

Number of midnight releases have you attended: Two. But they were SWEET.

Favourite HP website: Well, the Lexicon, of course, but that’s not including fan fiction sites.

Favourite podcast: I don’t really do the whole pod cast thing. Not because I’m against them (I think they’re friggin sweet), but because I’m too lazy to stay with one.

Favourite fanartist: draykonis

Most ridiculous Potter theory you've heard: Dumbledore + McGonagall. I knew Dumbledore was gay since the first chapter of HP. He was wearing a purple gown and high-heeled boots, people.

Favourite LJ HP community: Not sure. Probably the Ass Ship, just because I visit it the most. But I was pretty into one of the Snarry ones, a while ago.

Which would you rather see - a sequel or a prequel? Definitely a prequel. Give me more MWPP-era Remus, please.

Which stereotypes do you associate with each house? Self-oriented for Slytherin, Brave for Gryffindor, …. Fluffy for Hufflepuff (please don’t ask) and Hermione for Ravenclaw. Yes, Hermione.

V. Either/Or
Floo powder or broom: Floo. A broom does not seem stable.
Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans or Chocolate Frogs: Live a little. Bertie’s.
Death Eaters or Dumbledore's Army: DUMBLEDORE’S ARMY!
Fred or George: Forge.
CAPSLOCK HARRY or Emo!Harry: I love Capslock. He’s so much fun to laugh at. Emo!Harry makes me cry.
The Ministry of Magic or Gringotts: Ministry.
Sirius or Lupin: Seriously? (Haha)….  Remus.
Occlumency or Legilimency: Legilimency
Animagus or Metamorphagus: Metamorphagus
Mermish or Parselmouth: Parselmouth.
Draco or Lucius: Draco!!
Peter Pettigrew or Mundungus Fletcher: Fletcher. I love him. And hate him.
Whomping Willow or Flying Ford Anglia: Anglia.
Invisibility cloak or Pensieve: Pensive
Grimmauld Place or The Burrow: The Burrow
Werewolf or Inferi: Werewolf… much less… Dawn of the Dead-y.
Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures: Magical Creatures.
Professor Binns or Professor Umbridge: O.O Death! Um, no. Probably Binns.
Yule Ball or Quidditch Championship: The Ball, most likely.
Peeves or Nearly Headless Nick: Nick. Peeves drove me insane.
Hippogryff or Thestrals: Thestrals
Durmstrang or Beaubaxtons: Beaubaxtons
S.P.E.W or the Inquisitorial Squad: Um, SPEW. Definitely.
Three Broomsticks or The Leaky Cauldron: Leaky Cauldron.
Portkey or Apparation: Portkey. It would give me an excuse to touch weird things.
Butterbeer or pumpkin juice: Butterbeer.

VI. You at Hogwarts
List the Hogwarts Houses in order of which House you'd most likely be Sorted into (1 being most likely): Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor

What's in your wand? Unicorn hair, I think.

What character do you empathize with, or resemble most? I most definitely empathize most with Neville.

Which character would you ask to the Yule Ball? Hahahahahahahahaha Draco.

Which character would you like to use a love potion on? Seamus, I think.

Which character would you like to use Veritaserum on? Um, I think it would have to be Snape.

What would you use Felix Felicis to do? I think I would save some up for any time I planned fighting a megalomaniac Dark Lord….

What job would you most like to try? Librarian.

If you were an animagus, what animal would you turn into? I think I would have to be a Giraffe.

What animal would your patronus be? A goldfish.

What three things would your amortentia potion smell like? Sweat, Grass, and Dirt, though Zach says his deodorant should be one, too.

What position do you play at Quidditch? Haha, slow cheerleader who needs to shave..

Who would your best friend be were you sorted in each house and why? Slytherin, Draco, most definitely. Hufflepuff… I have no idea. Ravenclaw…. I don’t know, that either. (I guess I have to go re-read the series now…) Gryffindor, Ginny

What three characters do you think you'd get into catfights with? Lavendar, Parvati, and Cho

List 3 characters you think you'd ask on a date: Seamus, someone I can’t remember the name of in Ravenclaw and Ginny.

Would you have joined Dumbledore's army or gone to the meeting if Hermione had asked you? Why or why not? Yes, because the title is sweet and because Umbridge is a stinking sack of whore juice.

Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse and, if so, which one/s and why? Probably. In a war setting, most definitely. All of them/whichever needed and only in order to defend myself or someone loved.

You just got a Howler. Who's it from, and what'd you do? Was it a mistake? From Sirius (the live one). I slept with his pet werewolf. Yes, it was a mistake. Fourth time this week, too.

What type of pet do you choose as your companion at Hogwarts? A kneazle.

While shopping in Hogsmeade you stop by Honeydukes for some sweets. What treats do you purchase for yourself? I’m not very smart on the candy. So I’d have to say Bertie’s, which I love the idea of.

What is your favourite subject to study at Hogwarts and why? Artithmancy because it would be friggin sweet.

Likewise, what subject is your least favourite and why? Ancient runes. History + Language = epic fail

Adriane sneeze-laughs.

Semimetals are bisexual.

So the benefit of having 500 free pages a semester to print is that I cannot possibly use all of them on school-related work.

So what am I doing? Why, printing off If You Are Prepared, of course!

It's the little things that get to me, you know... Excuse me for getting annoyed when I'm trying to talk on the phone and there are a bunch of retarded ASS HOLES behind me screaming and yelling. Excuse me for being bothered when you can't stop coughing in the middle of QUIET hours at the open lab, and the lady at the desk ASKS YOU TO LEAVE and you DON'T!

But that's not the big deal. The big deal is that *I'm* the snob when I glare at the kid who is sitting only two chairs away from me, sneezing, coughing like a holy hag is losing its lungs, and WIPING HIS HANDS ON THE DESK! Excuse me? That's disgusting. And dangerous. The kid needs to put his head in a hazmat bag and inhale deeply for as long as it takes for him to pass out. Or inhale the plastic.

On the bright side, only roughtly 64 days until the end of the semester.

*slams head repeatedly*
Oh. My. GOD. Woman.
How have these people not learned volumes in Calc I? VOLUMES!?!?!?! This is insanity. They'd never heard of the washer method, or the disc method??!

-_- NOT COOL

...
It's times like these when I do the relatively simple math in my head. I'm playing close to $250 a credit hour for this class. Four credit hours makes it a $1000 class.

Since I've learned half of these topics in my Calc I class (not an exaggeration; I have checked and rechecked both the syllabus and the book), we can easily conclude that the school owes me around $500 of that initial $1000.

I am still waiting on this payment.

So I walked out of Calc II this lovely morning not understanding anything that had just happened. Granted, falling asleep in class probably wasn't the best way to learn, but seriously.... she can't just go from integrating areas (which, by the way, I'm paying to "learn," even though we did that all the way back in AP Calc) to parametric curves.

Psh. Parametric curves. Who cares about those?

I have to program my calculator. And it's not working. So I'm going to make Jake make it all better...

I talked to Beth and Emily last night. It was amazing, hearing their voices again. I miss them both so much. I don't really have any friends here. There's Zach, obviously. But he doesn't blush all pretty-like when I make really crude jokes, that I don't even make anymore.....
Except Bethanie told me she was "doing wood" with Ethan..... I'll let you figure out what that means by yourself; I'm late for Econ.

For some reason, I smell bad.
So I'm skipping chemistry and going home.
Yup. You heard me.
I, Adriane Ware, am skipping chemistry, the most boring class I have, in order to go bathe (which, actually, I probably won't do).

And sleep. Sleep is amazing.

Quinnesec next weekend! Yay! I'm glad we're going up now, before it gets crazy cold. So excited to see the paper mill. And to be in the UP. Going to be fun, cold, educational and beautiful.

So after the meeting tonight, Nikki came up to me:
"Adriane would you like to go to Florida in January to the TAPPI conference?"
"... Will I be missing classes?"
"No, it's on the Martin Luther break."
"Then yes, yes I would."

And that's that.

Germany in four years.

And do you want to know the super sweet awesome thing? It's totally paid for. Next weekend all I have to do is pay for two on the road meals. Florida is all paid for. Germany is all paid for (after I get invited, of course. Dr. Raj and Dr. Abubakr are dying to invite me... they just don't know it yet.)

So we did our fitness test yesterday. It was fine, but holy hell was it hot. We were supposed to run/walk on the track for 12 minutes, and I was able to run a mile, but then I had to start walking. ;_; So out of shape compared to a year ago. Then we did abdominal curls, which suck, by the way (killed my neck), and push ups and one sit and reach. I didn't mind any of it, but this morning I couldn't even get out of bed. It was ridiculous how sore I was. My arms and legs ache terribly and for some reason my jaw is killing me.

I woke up dizzy still, even after taking the medication. It wasn't as bad as it usually is, though, so maybe it's working.
-_- <- skeptical Adriane.

I am showing progress. Today I'm not going to eat lunch in my car and watch the parking police write tickets for 2 hours, no matter how fun it is.

No, I'll eat my lunch at the rec center, even though there are a bunch of very fit people watching and probably laughing at me. Meh.

So I got 36/50 on my Econ test. -_- psh. Who needs a 4.0 anyway? Not I, said the little Adriane. And then she continued. Just a 3.7, otherwise my beautiful scholarship will be taken away from me....
