South Dakota is a very wide state when your Grandparents only drive 60 miles per hour.
Crap, I've got to get off iTunes. I'm spending too much money. I just bought this Sondre Lerche album because I couldn't get the one songs without buying the whole disc. Fine.
So I just bought the following from iTunes (yes, legally):
"Glittering Clouds" Imogen Heap
"Love Letter to Japan" The Bird and the Bee
"Stronger" Kanye West (don't judge me!! lol--it's a great dance song)
Okay, so Imogen Heap is amazing.
Glittering Cloud is beautiful! I can't stop listening to it....
go go faster wider
more more get it down ya
Current song stuck in my head:
"Love Letter to Japan" by Bird and the Bee

I love Elftown.
So it's 5:30 in the morning in Vegas, 8:30 in Michigan, and I'm leaving for the airport in about 15 minutes. The flight to Bozeman, Montana is 2 hours long. I'll be there until I think the 31st of May/1st of June-ish, and then it's a 5-day drive back home. I don't want to leave Vegas, naturally, seeing as it's my favorite city in the world. There's so much to do here! And, of course, Dad's here. Montana should be fun, though. I haven't seen this part of my family for years.
I just wish they could come down here. Maybe Devan can do a real quick transfer and graduate from Vegas! It's a good idea, no? =P
Well, my last post got lost due to crappy IE here, but let me recap.
I am UBER psyched for the Ass carnival this summer, which will be running hopefully starting June 1st. SUPER pumped. SUPER!
For anyone interested in fun fanfiction games over the summer, here is the link:

Participants can subject art and fic based on the given challenges. The ship is Albus Potter/Scorpiu
I am SOOOO happy!
Well, I did it.
I posted the old fics I wrote for the carnival last summer to my ff.net account. And cleaned out all my other stuff.
I sincerely hope they'll do the carnival again this year.
My goal for the day:
do not log on to facebook.
for an entire day.
I'm detoxing, you know?
(that was a lie)
I have $22.61 in my checking account.
I may have to work on not spending so much.
Well, darn it.
That's what I had typed in the entry box from hours ago.
But, the trouble is, I don't remember what I was darning.
So it's a sad morning, following a depressing dream. But the sun is (like always in Vegas) shining, and that's nice.
I really screwed things up with Armstead. I didn't think so when I was in high school. But he was a huge part of my life. And I don't have that anymore.
=) I keep resolving to e-mail him. I can't even get to Yahoo before I lose my nerve. I'm a wimp.
So where did this litle melancholy come from, hmm?
Them good ol' boys were drinking whisky and rye...
Zach should be back in Michigan now.
List for today:
Laundry
Finish book
Buy new book
Zach and I walked to the comic book store today and I actually bought something. Fantastic. o.O
Then we went to the $3 movie theatre and wanted to see Paul Blart, but the AC was broken in that one, so we saw Escape to Witch Mountain, which wasn't that bad. I absolutely adore the older films, and I wasn't totally disgusted with this one except for the one shot where the Las Vegas strip was pretty much completely deserted; that never happens.
Anyway, Dad called around 11:30 while we were waiting for the movie to start and told us we'd be going to see the Lion King tonight.......
......
Frickin fantastic. This is a good link to a picture of the auditorium at Mandalay Bay: http://www.man
I love this city. Zach's mom wrote him via facebook reminding him not to get married, and I really want him to reply somewhat like "Oh, well....you should have told me earlier you didn't want Adriane as a daughter-in-la
=D
Anyway, I'm sweating in places I didn't know my body had...so.... I'm going to go attack the air vent. <3
I hate the whole financial aid process.
So Zach and I played the cute couple today and got haircuts together. Mine took considerably longer, as all he did was get a buzz. =)
Along with all the other disgusting noises a game retail store makes, and assuming there's no one tinkering with the ps3, I get to hear this beautiful thing, amidst a ruckus of wasted noise, about every two hours.

Well, I went from a beautiful 14-credit schedule fall semester to a not-so-beautif
It's kind of funny, really, because I went from 16 to 17 to 18 all in a row. None of them can be taken over the summer. Meh, life goes on. I don't know what I would do with a non-busy schedule anyway.
I enrolled in Spanish I for the second summer session, and realized that if I don't take Spanish II right afterward, I'm basically screwed, because language is something I need constant practice with.
So I enrolled in Spanish II for the fall semester. As of this morning, here is what my schedule looks like for the fall (I know none of you care, I'm just putting this out there):
Introduction to American Education--3 cr
Elementary Linear Algebra--4 cr
Eastern Psychology--3 cr
Organic Chemistry I and Lab--3 cr and 1 cr
Spanish II--4 cr
And, Spanish I and II don't even count toward my minor in Spanish. Nope. I have to take 29 credits of Spanish *after* those two classes. So, really, I'm taking at leas 37 credits of Spanish.
Add to this that I need 26-28 more credits of math (22-24 after I pass Elementary Linear Algebra), 12 more credits of chemistry (8 after I pass Orgo I), 4 more credits of physics (kill me now), God knows how many more general education credits, and about 20-25 more credits of education shit *before* I can start student teaching, and it comes to be a very very long college education.
And very very expensive.
