A broken king composing hallelujah.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
So the Summer II semester starts tomorrow. I'm only taking one class, Spanish I, but that's enough. It's four days a week from 9AM-10:40AM, and that seems like plenty to me. I'm kind of excited, just to be doing something other than work and World of Warcraft. Ugh, I have no life.
The Demon Lexicon came out a few days ago. I didn't really expect it to be such a big hit, but all of a sudden it started popping up everywhere. Having been personally snubbed by the author doesn't really affect my desire to read it at least once. The first chapter was okay. Maybe I'll just check it out first.
Okay, so I didn't get approved for the credit card that would give me 24 months to pay off a new laptop without interest. I was hurt a little by that, but it's fine. (I now have to call the credit agency and dispute the reasons for Equifax's denial, UGH!) I'm going to save every paycheck I get from now to until just before school. Then I'm going to make the 2.5 hour drive to Troy, and order my laptop. I'll put whatever I have saved up, (starting Friday, because that's when I get paid for the first time since my vacation), toward the computer in cash. Everything else will go on the credit card I do have. My father will put my allowance toward my computer until the balance is paid off and I will, more or less, have bought my computer. Excellent, no?
It's a beautiful computer, and well worth all this waiting. I have a $750 limit on my card, so technically, I could just go buy the computer now and pay the remaining $300 or so in cash, but I want to save up. I'm not having buyer's remorse from the 360; I'm just not in the mood to drop a huge wad of cash after spending so much on a stupid game system.
Anyway, the fall semester starts on September 8th. I'll be paid six times before then. From the crappy-to-none
So what's an exciting thing that's happening? I have a very very very very interesting idea for a fanfiction. I've never actually written smut before. And I'm super nervous to post it, but I must write this. It's dirty and wrong and ... interesting. And wrong. But fun. =P
I've officially leveled my warlock past my druid. I liked playing my druid, seeing as she could change into a kitty and whatnot, but my warlock is way more fun. How sad is this, that I'm actually giving you WoW updates? Oh God, kill me now.
Sounds like Zach is awake. Here comes the booooy....
We are having hot lesbian sex.
And by "lesbian sex," we mean "tea."
But it's still hot.
Well, that made me crack up for an hour or two.
So I just posted my first fanart. Ever. I've never made one before. I've certainly never posted one before. God help me, it's awful. But it's posted. And I'll live on!
Hoomygawd I'm going to die before someone comments.
Well, I can't draw. Or write. But I'm a sucker for the comments.
PO-TA-TOES
boil 'em
mash 'em
stick 'em in a stew
hahahaha I love this movie.
come to kalamazooo and seee meee, pleeeazzze
Well, I had my first completely UNNECESSARY 360 scare today when I turned Sylvia on and she had a beautiful red ring. Jesus. I knew it wasn't the overheat problem, so she wasn't dead, but the red is frightening enough.
Is Viva Pinata the best game in the world?
Why, yes. Yes it is.
Bought the stupid 360 today. Aubrey, please get a hold of us and give us your gamertag. Zach will be purchasing Live tomorrow.
It's okay. We got the GOTY bundle so I wouldn't have to look at the ugly white. The black is prettier, I guess. I bought Banjo & Kazooie. I don't like it very much. I think I'll take it back and get Viva Pinata and Kameo. I played a bit of Halo 3. I suck at fps, but whatever.
"Well, usually when a person shakes their head," said McGonagall coldly, "they mean 'no.' So unless Miss Edgecombe is using a form of sign language as yet unknown to humans --"
I cried from laughing so hard... that's twice tonight.
Well, I made a stupid mistake and searched for Dumbledore quotes to put on my beautiful new laptop and ended up sobbing my eyes out.... July 15th is going to be a teary night....

Zach and I are headed to Chicago tomorrow. We bought tickets for the Harry Potter Exhibition (which, all in all, was much less expensive than Azkatraz) for tomorrow, and I'm pretty psyched. We've got a pretty loose schedule in mind. I'm thinking something like the following:
Morning ish- Lincoln Park (Zoo and fun boutique stores and such)
Lunch ish- Ed Debevic's
Afternoon ish- Lego and Popcorn Stores
Evening (5:15 Central Time)- HPE at Museum of Science and Industry
Night- On the road
Hoo man, Azkatraz looks sweet. http://www.hp2
South Dakota is a very wide state when your Grandparents only drive 60 miles per hour.
Crap, I've got to get off iTunes. I'm spending too much money. I just bought this Sondre Lerche album because I couldn't get the one songs without buying the whole disc. Fine.
So I just bought the following from iTunes (yes, legally):
"Glittering Clouds" Imogen Heap
"Love Letter to Japan" The Bird and the Bee
"Stronger" Kanye West (don't judge me!! lol--it's a great dance song)
Okay, so Imogen Heap is amazing.
Glittering Cloud is beautiful! I can't stop listening to it....
go go faster wider
more more get it down ya
Current song stuck in my head:
"Love Letter to Japan" by Bird and the Bee
