Laura finally returned home from the Sand village her mind continued to flicker to her last moments with Garra.
"I suppose we should discuss the real peace treaty this time?" Laura suggested with a shy smile.
"Will you attack my village?" Garra paused waiting for an answer.
"No," Laura became confused by the question.
"And I will not attack yours, there, down to business." His eyes lit on fire with the desire that was within him.
Laura turned away slightly, "Are you sure that's all? We don't have to say anything else?"
He began to gently rub her fingers ever so slightly, "You're so cold!" He huddled closer to her so that both his and her hips were touching. He then brought the blanket up towards the both of them, "There, better?"
Laura nodded in gratefulness. She couldn't concentrate well with Garra's hip touching against her, rubbing oh so subtley."
"Laura, what will you do when you return to the Leaf village?" he had started to rub her bare leg and Laura's heart was pumping faster now.
"Uhm, I plan- uh- to," she shook her head in an attempt to gather her thoughts, "well,"
Garra grinned knowingly.
"Oh? What else?" He leaned in to kiss her neck, a gasp escaped Laura's mouth.
"uh, I'm sorry, what," a long pause as Garra traced her neckline with kisses, "did you say?"
Garra's grin turned wicked, "nothing."
He kissed her on the lips allowing her to know the passion he felt for her, the irresistable urge.
His mind turn to Tohru for just a moment, quickly he summoned piles and piles of sand to be placed by all the doors and windows so there was absolute privacy.
Laura was heated to the point of no return when Garra turned his body so that his one knee was the to right of her leg and his other was to her left. He placed his arms above her heads. He lowered himself and tantalizingly kissed her he then pulled away and stared at her, Laura groaned and brought her arms upward to being him back, he followed her urgent pulling and kissed her again, this time he pulled away he waited longer. Laura protested with a plea, and Garra felt compelled to answer slowly he lowered himself back down and then fully wrapped his arms around Laura.
The evening was spent in that bed going above and beyond where Laura had ever thought possible. A slight thought of Itachi and Neji entered her mind, but it was to wish that they would be able to tease and punish her in the same way that Garra had.
[ back to the present ]
Laura had to steady her breathing just thinking about what had happened, she bit her lip. She was missing Garra more than she thought she would, lost in her thoughts she didn't notice that Neji was standing before her with a can of her favorite, Pepsi, waiting to be distributed to her.
Her heart fluttered, here was her sweet thoughtful Neji who always looked after her. Inwardly she frowned, guilt started to press on her. Neji trusted her still, after Itachi, he was willing to share her.
"Neji, I missed you so much!" she ran forward and wrapped her arms around him, she stepped back her eyes widened, "Do you have another Pepsi can in your pocket?"
He raised his eyebrow up, "What do you think?" Laura bit her lip at the prospect.
"I don't know, maybe I should examine it."
"Be my guest," he winked at her.
Slowly she slid her hand in his front pocket, her hand slid around the large object, "Oh my God! Cold, cold!" sure enough, as she pulled the object free, sure enough it was a Pepsi product.
Laura was a little disheartened, "Well, I was sure that it would be... something different."
He leaned in and kissed her forehead then slowly glided his head towards her ear so only she could hear, "I needed the pepsi can to cool down anything that uhm, might come up." Laura straightened her head, "Oh!"
He continued, "But uh, if you'd like to see what's in my pocket now from being around you I can ensure you that there's no pepsi can."
Once again Laura's heart sped up. He grabbed her hand and started to walk her towards her house, it being in the closest direction.
Laura walked/half skipped in order to keep up with Neji's urgency.
After what seemed to be a million years the two finally reached their destination. The Pepsi cans were strewn across the room, Laura fought her urge to make sure the Pepsi cans didn't spray across the room.
He pushed her to the couch that they had spent the evening on together the night she left, her mind still on the Pepsi cans she noticed that they had been tossed carefully on the pillow laying on the floor.
Neji smiled, "Did you think I would let them spew everywhere?"
Laura's heart fluttered again as she took control this time and kissed him passionately.
"Laura, I love you." Laura couldn't contain herself anymore a tear fell down her cheek as the guilt became overwhelming, "I love you too, Neji... but there's something that I have to tell you."
Pounding started suddenly at her front door, Laura and Neji glanced at one another, "Are you expecting company?"
Laura shook her head, "not at this time."
Neji shrugged, "Someone has some urgency."
Neji released his hold on Laura and attempted to staightened his attire, he looked downwards, "uhm, perhaps you should get the door."
Neji sat back down and placed a pillow over his lap. Laura laughed as she made her way to the door.
The pounding became more demanding and the door caved in on it's own accord... or perhaps on the accord of the two heated people standing on the other side.
There standing before Laura were two men, one heaving with anger with silver hair short with almost a feminine appearence. The other with orange flamey hair, it didn't look like it took much to make him mad but whatever happened enlightened him to a new degree.
"Are you Laura?"
Tears streamed down Tohru's cheeks, agony gripping at her very being.
Garra placed Laura closely behind him as if protecting her. Tohru
turned to run away but Garra called out, "Tohru, don't go. I-" He bit
his lip and faced Laura not knowing quite what to say.
Tohru, seeing his hesitation, ran off.
"Go after her, Garra. Come talk with me later."
Needing no other words Garra raced out of the bathroom quickly
grabbing a towel as he made his way out the door, "Tohru!"
Tohru waited for him when he called after her, she would let him say
what he wanted and then continue to cry so that he would feel guilty.
Oh yes, she knew how she could keep her man.
Guilt. Guilt always works. A mischivious crackle escaped Tohru's lips.
Hearing Garra approach she wiped the smirk off her face and frowned once again.
"Garra, you hurt me so badly. I trusted you, how could you?" Her body
heaved back and forth with sobs.
Garra encased her within an embrace, "Oh God, Tohru! I never meant to
hurt you, please, please don't be upset. It was just-"
"Just what? A peace treaty! That may work on the whore's that Laura's
with but that doesn't work on me!"
Garra was shocked by Tohru's colorful language.
Noticing Garra's shocked expression, Tohru released a bit of the anger
from her face and turned the water works on again, "I love you soooo
much, Garra. How could you hurt me so?"
Garra fell back into feeling sorry once again, "I just, I don't know
what happened. Can't we talk about this? I'm willing to go to...,"
Garra paused attempting to find the strength of saying the next words,
"counseling." his head fell forward at the suggestion.
Tohru's eyebrows scrunched up, "Well, that's stu- I mean, Really?" She
made her eyes light up, "You care for me that much?"
Garra placed his hands gently on her shoulders, "You know I do."
Tohru smiled brightly, "Alright, but don't hurt me again, it wasn't very nice."
Garra kissed her cheek, "You know I won't." He hugged her again but
looked off towards the bathroom where he knew Laura would be, his
heart beat rapidly, he couldn't help but think of joining her once
more, helping her wash the rest of her back...or backside. A smile
crept up on his face, or whatever else needed washed. He would have to
speak with her again, his eyes turned back towards Tohru, this time
he'd make sure that he wouldn't get caught...
He stood there attempting to find a way to get Tohru out of the house,
somehow, anyhow.. luckily he didn't have to.
She found a way for him.
"I have to go for a little while, back to the Sohma house, I'll be
back in a couple of days. Let's spend some you and I time when I get
back, okay?" She carassed his cheek.
"Of course, darling." Although he didn't really hear what she was
saying, he was too busy celebrating in his mind that she wouldn't be
around.
Private time with Laura!
He did a little dance.... in his head of course, he wasn't that
oblivious as to do it in front of his girlfriend.
He kissed Tohru on the cheek and she moved to the right of him,
grabbed her sand bucket and skipped outside the door.
Knowing that the door was shut behind her Tohru threw the sand bucket
to the side, "Little bitch, did she think that I wouldn't get back at
her," a throaty laugh escaped her, "I'm going to get Kyo and Yuki on
that bitches ass!" She laughed maniacially as she walked down the road
fellow neighbors looking out the window stared confusingly at her.
As soon as Garra knew that the front door had close he turned around,
Laura was standing there with a concerned expression on her face.
"Tohru didn't leave because she was mad, did she?"
Garra shook his head, "No, not at all. Her and I made up. She
understood, she'll be back in a couple of days. Meanwhile we have time
to ourselves."
Laura took a couple of steps back, "Look Garra, now that you and
Tohru are okay I think we should talk. How dare you use me like that?
How dare you when you have a girlfriend talk about how you want to
fight Neji and Itachi for me? How could you make me feel guilty and
then have Tohru to the side?!" Laura's face turned redder and redder.
Garra flinched, "I know I kind of made a mistake in not telling you
that I had a girlfriend, but how do you think Neji felt when you were
with Itachi?"
Laura blinked and frowned, "I must have made him feel so horrible. I
should make that up to him." Laura was deep in thought thinking up
different 'ways' she could assist in making Neji feel better.
"Wait, I'm talking about you though, how can you tell me you're going
to fight for me when you're with Tohru!?"
Garra grinned, "I have to fight for you, you're intoxicating, Laura."
Laura frowned, "Intoxicating or not, you shouldn't make your
girlfriend feel that way or place me in that posistion!"
Garra started rubbing Laura's arms up and down, "Is there any way I
can make it up to you?"
Laura started getting butterflies in her stomach, 'Oh lord,' she
thought, 'not again.'
She licked her lips, "How about we finish with that shower? I don't
think we were able to." Garra suggested.
Laura hesitated.
"Come on," Garra pushed, "No one will ever know."
Laura couldn't help but give in to her desire and... peer pressure.
[The part that will never see the light of day]
Tohru turned to run away but Garra called out, "Tohru, don't go,"
Tohru hesitated.
Garra pulled Tohru in and kissed her passionately, "Here's how I
figure it, Tohru. If Laura gets to be with Neji, Itachi, and myself
why can't I have you and her?"
With those words Tohru looked at Garra in deep concentration
attempting to figure out an answer, "Beats me, but I can see your
point!" Tohru hopped into the shower, dress and all and looked towards
Laura and Garra, "Okay, what do we do from here?"
Laura and Garra were refreshed by the warm water cascading down over them. Laura took a step back from Garra as she watched him suddenly melt before her eyes, her heart skipped a beat, "Garra!"
A look of confusion spread over him and he looked downwards, a former shell of himself disolving down the drain, "Mother! I'm sorry!" it was his shell of sand.
Laura gently placed her hand on Garra's chin and pushed slightly upward so he would be looking at her, "There's a lot more we can do now that's mama's not looking."
Garra's eyes widened in excitement and he gripped onto Laura. In the heat of the moment Laura hit into the soap dish and knocked it over, she bit her lip and reach down to pick up the soap.
Garra took advantage of the situation and whispered gently as he placed his hands on her hip, "I thought you weren't suppose to pick up the soap if you drop it. "
Laura smiled wickedly as if she had known what was coming, "We're not in prison."
A gasp was heard from the opened doorway, a woman stood at the door, her hair in two long pig-tails, her hands at her mouth and a bucket to make sand castles were dropped at her feet.
"Garra, how could you?"
Garra shifted into a semi-conciousn
He kissed her on the cheek, "What a peace treaty, huh?"
Laura fiercely blushed, "I never met for that to happen, I don't actually know what came across me, why did we do that. If Neji and Itachi ever find out..." Laura stared downwards at her hands, "I dont' know what I would ever do, what they would do, Oh God."
Garra wrapped his arms around her, "Let me tell you something that might make you feel better. I lived most of my life fighting all feelings of good. Actually, what I made good were those that most people would consider bad. I loved to hate, correction, I lived to hate. I loved only me." He rubbed the red tattoo that was placed on his left-hand side of his forehead, " I believed that surviving was what I would do since everyone wanted me to die it was what I could do to spite them all. Don't you understand? Love is never something to be taken granted for," He clasped her hands, "I don't know if that's what we have here, but Laura, you have to understand that these feelings aren't to be pushed away. That's something you should never do with love." Laura blushed ferociously once more and bit her lip.
Garra smiled, "Go clean yourself up," Laura gently slid of the bed and turn to go towards the bathroom, "Laura,' she stopped, "I do have to let you know that I fight for the things I want, you do need to know the Neji and Itachi will have a run for their money, I'm not one that's apt to share."
Laura widened her eyes and continued walking out of the room, as if she didn't hear him, she would deal with the love triangle later.
Walking into the bathroom she settled herself before the mirror, she began to twist her tongue around her mouth and suddenly she spat in the sink. Looking downwards she could see grainules of sand mixed with her saliva, another blush crept over her face. It was definietly interesting being with the Kazekage.
She shrugged and started running the water to the shower, just about to step inside there was a knock at the door, it opened. There stood Garra with a crazy grin on his face, "I was thinking we'd go over that peace treaty again," with those words Garra pushed Laura against the wall, remisincent of what had occured the night before. They made their way underneath the showerhead where they could further process the details of the peace treaty. ;)
Neji and Laura were curled up together on the couch watching Spirited Away, Laura had her head rest on Neji's shoulder.
The thought of Itachi flickered throughout Neji's mind, Itachi had left Laura to attain to 'business matters' everyone thoughtout the village knew that he was really making sure that Sasuke would be kept busy and not returning to the village anytime soon.
Neji gently smoothed Laura's hair away from her eyes, "You know, Laura, we haven't had private time like this to ourselves in a long time."
Laura chuckled, "Yeah, Itachi's quite the uhm," Laura paused to figure the correct wording, "filler of time sort-of-speak.
Neji rolled his eyes, "Nothing I'm too happy about personally."
At the time there was a knock on the door, Laura groaned.
"Don't get it, Laura."
"I have to. He or she will keep knocking if I don't."
"The person will eventually go away."
"Yeah, but then I'll be curious as to what he or she wanted, can't have that now can we?" She pushed herself up from the couch and away from Neji's arms.
The knocking continued, "I'm coming!"
"Laura, I don't think the world needs to know that,"
Laura flicked her head around back towards Neji that was still resting on the couch, she reached down and grabbed a pillow that had fallen from an earlier interlude and threw it at Neji, "Shuuut up!"
Composing herself she answered the door, "yes?"
"Laura-sama, Hokage of the Leaf Village?" a young man stood before her.
"Yes, that would be me." Laura rested her body against the frame of the door.
"I have a message from the Kazekage, he would like to meet you and create a treaty joining the Leaf Village and the Sand Village in continued peace."
Laura frowned in concertration digesting what had just been said, "Alright, tell him I'll meet him in a couple of days."
The messenger nodded, "We will be expecting your arrivial in the Sand Village in two days."
"Understood,"
"Thank you for your time," The messenger nodded once more and then turned to depart.
Laura went back to her position on the couch, curled next to Neji, resting on his shoulder.
"Well?"
"Well what?"
"That was all about what?"
"Oh, I have to meet the Kazekake at his place in two days."
Neji scrunched up, "But how do I know that this isn't going to be like the last time we seperated, when I left on the mission Itachi came and seduced you!"
Laura gasped, "Hey, it's not like it was my fault. Itachi really isn't one that you can disagree with."
Neji nodded his head in agreement, Laura and Itachi had been spending the blunt of the time together, considering everytime that Neji wanted to be with her Itachi sent him to a world where pink bunnies heartlessly attacked him.
Of course he couldn't tell Laura about these horrid events, how would he explain to her that he was now petrified whenever a fluffy bunny came anywhere in his vicinity?
"True, but why don't we use this Itachi-free time to our advantage, or at least to my advantage?"
Laura laughed, "Would you stop, I have to get everything packed, I'm sure I'll be gone for at least a week."
Neji smirked, "Well, I better see you off properly." He turned her into a comfortable position on the couch and expressed exactly how much he would miss her.
[ 2 days later ]
Laura was greeted with open arms at Garra's place he was out finishing a meeting with the new ninja recruits. Laura was directed to settle in and become comfortable. Garra would soon be in to meet her.
Laura began wondering around the place, attempting to occupy her mind. She had met and greeted so may different people that her head spun with the new names and faces that she attempted to take in. Finally she settled in what appeared to be Garra's reading room. She scanned her hands across the many books interested that this Hokagae was such an avid ready....littl
A silent presence entered the room watching her examine all of the books. Quietly he observed her taking out the books, opening them, and placing them back in its' orginial place. "Interested in the Hidden Sand reading?"
Laura whirled around and came face to face with the Kazekage, Garra.
"Garra-sama, I apologize for so freely going through your books here," she motioned towards the books, her heart thundering in her chest, "but I was just wanting to know more about the information here and well, this place seemed to be the perfect place to approach first."
Garra gave his fellow Hokage a small smile and slowly started walking towards her, Laura couldn't help but feel slightly intiminated by Garra, she took a step back.
"Laura-sama, don't fear me doing you any harm." Garra attempted to contain himself, he was so breathtaken by the beauty in front of him that he didn't know precisely what to say and what to do. Never had a woman effected him so much.
Laura began to feel lightheaded, she didn't know why but she was attracted to this man in front of her. Closing her eyes she stopped the imagry of her rushing forward and embracing him, She was with not only Neji but also Itachi. She certainly couldn't hurt them by being with Garra. Laura shook her head once again slightly, so Garra hopefully wouldn't notice, she didn't even know if he wanted her, not that it mattered. She argued with herself.
Garra breathed in heavily, attempting to regain his senses waved Laura into the dining room where they could speak amongst dinner.
At first they attempted to speak of the similar stories in being Hokages and responsibility it took with the village. Desire raged in deep of their hearts and both were finding it hard to fight. The other guests departed for the evening leaving Laura and Garra alone together.
"I should be going to bed," Laura quickly excused herself, Garra rose from his chair in order to escort her to her room. She shook her head, "No need, Garra-sama. I can find it."
"Yes but, I was hoping to do a little more than escort you." Garra unable to resist his temptation any further kissed Laura hungrily and threw her up against the wall. Laura couldn't fight back and gave in to what she had desired... Garra.
It was after the last escapade that Itachi began to act very differently towards the Hidden Leaf villagers. It was as if a truce had been called between the ultimate traitor and his once village. When he began to openly walk around anbu agents and other ninjas attempted their honed skills to attact the Shanigan master, but he was to much for them, holding them in a imagined prison until he was released from his.
In the end it was Neji would informed the current Hokage about the situation, Tsunade gripping at her chest died from shock.
A new Hokage had to be appointed.
Considering the situation and who had eased the mass troubles of the Laura was then appointed Hokage. Her Ninja experience would come with training, at this moment her peacekeeping skills would prized as gold.
There was only one Leaf villager who opposed the newest Hokage, it was a member who had left the village himself, but upon hearing why Laura was appointed and where his brother was he rushed back to the village.
Laura was astounded by her new rising position, she was just washing up in her kitchen. Sasuke crept around her back with a kunai, smoothly he held it up to her neck. Tell me when Itachi is, do it now or you will die.
"She won't have to do that, little brother. I'm right here."
Sasuke, without thinking, released Laura from his grip and turned around to face his brother.
"It's time for us to battle, big brother."
Laura squirmed away from the smaller brother and was able to take him all in, 'Definetly not his holder brother,' she smirked slightly.
Her sudden movement caused Sasuke to look towards her, "So you're the wench that my brother lost his head to. You know, I could make you quite happy myself,"
Laura's face turned in disgust.
Itachi flashed to his brother and held him by the throat, "Touch her and I will not leave you alive this time. Understand?"
Sasuke, with eyes wide, nodded his head viciously.
"Heh, you're just a little kid," Itachi threw Sasuke down, "Come back when you're man."
Sasuke, knowing he had no chance for a defeat tore from the village just as he had years before.
Itachi was breathing heavily, his mind was clouded with images of Laura being together with Neji, he was tempted to take her into an illusion and show her just how pleasure it could be with him. He smirked ready to do just as he planned.
Stepping away from his defensive stance he swept Laura up into his arms, "Are you ready for the real use of the Shanigan?"
Neji leaped towards Itachi, Itachi glided out of the way and gently placed Laura down, the eyes twisted and Neji found himself trapped in the middle of a maze. Any way that Neji turned he could not find the way out, but in his mind he knew that if he did make his way out he would find Itachi and Laura together... his mind wouldn't allow him to envision what they would be doing.
Laura screamed towards Itachi, "Don't hurt, Neji. Don't you remember what I said?"
Itachi grunted, "He's not being hurt. He's running through a maze like a rat. He won't be able to find the cheese for the life of him. Besides I just wanted to keep him busy while I did this," clarifying himself by his actions he tied Neji up using the bed sheet.
Laura stood back and bit her lip, was it just her or did Itachi tying Neji up seem a little, well, hot?
Itachi seeming to sense Laura's state of being brought his attention back to her.
He tucked her hair back behind her hair and backed her up against the wall.
Neji slowly came out of his vision.
Itachi released Laura's grip on her towel, he smirked and whispered towards her, "My turn."
For the next three weeks (Shanigan time) Itachi taught Laura all the different pleasures that the Shanigan could bring to a relationship and everything one....or two happen to do in that relationship.
Neji was forced to imagine the experience Laura was having with Itachi, he squirmed in his chair attempting to break fair.
"Hey Itachi, love to see that you have to use the Shanigan to give Laura pleasure. I used nothing but my skills and reality. What happens to Laura when you have to much eye strain and can't use your Shanigan one day?"
Itachi whipped from the vision, Laura was dropped from the heat of passion and fell to the ground in dismay. He turned towards Neji and this time Laura didn't know if she could save Neji's life, Itachi was pissed.
Laura had to try, she couldn't just allow Neji to be attacked, "Itachi, if you touch him I will never finish doing what I was in our illusion."
Itachi halted right on the spot and breathed heavily, slowly he turned back towards Laura, eyes wide, praying not to make her mad.
"Laura, don't be mad with me."
"Then don't hurt any more Leaf villagers. Stop this insanity!"
Itachi appeared as he had swollowed a lemon, "How can I do that?"
"Never, Itachi, will I finish it," she paused for dramatic effect, "understand?"
Itachi collapsed to the ground in defeat, "Fine."
As Itachi swiftly made way for the bedroom Laura could almost hear the "Jaws" theme playing. The closer he came the faster the music went until you knew that Itachi was about to open the door, Bam, the door flew open and busted against the wall. Itachi could only see red. Neji who somehow wasn't awakening by the "Jaws" theme music was awakened by the banging door, he lept out of bed Byakugan gun out and ready.
When Neji realized who it was he was fighting his eyes widened in fright, but he quickly took a defensive stance.
Laura entered the room wanting to stop the fight, praying that her items didn't get broken. She then noticed... "Neji" she whispered.
Neji paid no mind.
"Neji.." she began to chew on her lip.
Without turning his head towards her Neji requested to know what she wanted, "what?"
"If we were outside," she paused, "you'd be flapping in the wind."
Neji's face turned red but he made no movement to cover himself up.
"Laura is mine," Itachi threatened Neji with all that he could in just that remark.
Neji would not step down, he didn't know exactly what was going on between Itachi and Laura, or if anything really was, however, he loved Laura and would not give her up.
"Laura is not someone to be owned, I love her and she loves me, Itachi. I don't care if I die, I will fight for her."
Itachi let a string of laughter out, "Boy, you can fight for her but you cannot win. Believe me when I say that."
Laura let out a sigh of frustration she didn't know if it was because they were saying the stupidest of things or if it was because her house was in danger of collapsing if this fight really began. She knew Itachi didn't have to do much to kill Neji, he could simply use an illusion and have Neji crumble. Laura's heart fluttered at the thought of Itachi and the illusion they had shared only a day ago.
"Why are you fighting? I love you Itachi, but if you killed Neji I don't think I'd be able to be with you anymore. Neji, same goes for you, I can't be happy without Itachi. So maybe, if you guys really care for me, you'll reconsider."
Itachi craved for Laura, he wanted to hold her against him again, he didn't want to let a village he was certainly not frightened of stop him from being with his beloved. The problem was he didn't want to start a big uproar, he never wanted to get Laura involved in anything of that caliber. Itching for her he decided he could not wait any longer. He headed to her home.
His vision blurred slightly from the use of his Sharingan, but he peered into her bedroom window hoping that she'd be home. Looking in he could see a figure resting in the bed, curled up into the sheets.
That had to be his beloved, longer hair, smaller figure. He sighed with relief, she was home.
Simply opening the door he entered into Laura's abode but now he could hear the shower running.
A wave of confusion hit him as he made his way to the bathroom door. He thrusted the door open and he made out the figure of Laura.
His eyes widened and he smiled. There she was, "Laura, I don't know about you but I had to see yo-" Itachi's suddenly remembered the other figure he saw curled in the sheets, Neji. His eyes gleamed red and he turned around.
Laura threw open the shower curtain and draped a towel around herself, "Itachi, don't go in there!"
If you'd like to read the other brilliant part of these all too funny readings hop over to [Arbor] and read!
Neji's mission was complete. His entire body was exhausted from his labor but he ached even more to see his Laura. He dreamed of just walking towards her, seeing her brillant eyes light up with joy and finally taking her into his arms and letting her know just how much she meant to him.
Laura was cuddled up with the pillow having sweet dreams of Itachi, reliving their moments together. She mumbled his name and snuggled closer to the fluffy goodness. "Itachi, I don't want to go to the amusement park this time, I don't feel like riding anything there, but, if you feel like you want to ride something you could always ri-"
It was at this time that Neji entered Laura's bedroom, he could hear her muffled voice saying something but he couldn't make out exactly what it was. He chuckled softly as he watched Laura grip the pillow tighter and attempt to kiss it.
"Poor thing must really have missed me. I should resolve this." He smirked and removed the pillow from her arms, Laura frowned and attempted to reach out for it, this time Neji filled her arms. Upon the warmth of an actual being Laura was shocked into awareness.
"Neji!" her voice was filled with guilt and worry.
"It looked to me like you were lonely? What were you saying, something about someone ridi-"
Laura's face flushed red, she was speaking outloud? She knew she had said Itachi's name several times, what if he had heard her, Oh God, it was not good to get the Byakugan holder angry at you, it could only lead to certain... intense pain.
She was ready, read to see the veins align Neji's eyes to see his pupils and iris completely vanish to complete whiteness. Maybe it wasn't quite healthy for Laura to be so obessed with these eyes, they seemed to be rather deadly.
Instead of the awaited pain that Laura was becoming prepared for she recieved a kiss, first on the forehead, then on the cheek, and a slow tantalizing one on the lips.
"I missed you too, my love." Laura's heart literally skipped several beats, and she began to get intoxicated with the sight of Neji, he was home. He hadn't realized she wasn't the one she'd been clamping onto.
"Laura, I know recently I've been aloof, it was simply because I was training for the mission, Hinata was going to be in it so Laura you know that I had to watch after her. It's my duty as a second branch."
Laura sweetly smiled upwards towards him and stopped him from speaking any further, "Don't worry about it, Neji. I completely understand. I knew you'd come back to me."
Neji swept down and kissed her wanting her to know just how much he had missed her. Suddenly he broke the kiss, "Laura, I did something for you."
Laura's eyebrows twitched in slight confusion.
"I made you one of my specialized home cooked meals, and of course," Neji blushed, "to drink I brought some ice cold pepsi cola."
Laura's eyes flickered with mischivous, "But Neji, that's not what I'm hungry for."
"Wha? But I worked so har-"
"Neji," Laura's voice was singsonged his name, "I'm hungry for you." She gripped him by his jacket and brought him downwards on the bed.
In between the passionate kissed Neji gave Laura he pondered outloud about placing the food away.
"Leave it," Laura instructed, "we're going to need our strength later." Clicking off the bedroom light Laura and Neji proceeded with a mission of their own.
3rd installment
Laura's heart was thumping rapidly, the excitement from Itachi was certainly breathtaking. Everything was moving at such a fast paced, Itachi was definetly the dangerous guy that she had always craved in Neji. The fear in her heart was still rampant, the two of them had continued to walk from the forest, nearly into the village when suddenly Itachi stopped.
"Laura." his voice was low.
Laura's heart skipped a beat, "Yes?"
"I have a better idea on what we can do," his eyes were full of malice, Laura watched as suddenly the iris on both of his eyes turned into a a field of red with a larger circle in the middle and three surronding it.
"Oh shit, I'm going to die." Laura couldn't help but stare into Itachi's eyes, even though they held the purest of death waiting for her in them she felt drawn to the danger. He clamped his arms around her and smiled once again. Suddenly the two of them weren't near the forest or village, or anything around Konoha anymore they were in one of Itachi's illusions. Laura waited to see the horrid sight of Anakin whining that he was strong. But... that's not what happened. She twitched her nose realizing that a scent was filling it.... the scent of fair food. Cotton candy, hot dogs, gyros, french fries, all the greasy goodness that one can only get with amazing rides on a hot sunny day. Itachi grinned onec again at her, but this time it was of excitement, "Sorry no movie today, this causes less attention, plus there's a good thing about being at the fair in one of my illusions." Itachi paused. Laura shook her head slowly, "And what would that be, my dear Itachi?" "I thought you would have guessed, no lines."
The two of them spent the day together riding to their hearts content, only stopping twice so that Itachi could throw the contents of his stomach up into a waste basket that was oh so conviently beside the exit of every major rollar coaster there.
Towards the later of the evening they found themselves desiring one last ride to finish their wonderous date up, the ferris wheel in order to watch the sun go down. As the two neared the top the sun nestled into the underside of the hills and Itachi and Laura kissed. Music swept through the air, violins, flutes, the sounds of french horns, Laura's heart was filled with delight.
Laura nestled her head onto Itachi's shoulder and the cold beast himself placed his arm around her. "Oh Itachi," Laura whispered, "You've made everything so perfect. I wish we could stay here forever."
Itachi smirked, "You know we could, however, let's not spoil a good thing. It's time for you to go home now." Suddenly Laura was whipped away from the magical amusement park back into the wooded section near the village and not even a minute had passed from the time Itachi had brought the two of them to funky town. Itachi was no longer in sight, gone with the swirl of the eye. Laura clasped her hands over her heart in wonderment as she drifted into a daze towards her house. Upon reaching and tired from her day she went to her closet in order for her to grab her night garments. While digging around she saw her shrine to Neji. Laura smiled softly and brushed her fingers across the glossy cheek. Her eyes narrowed in determination as she straigtened up rushed off to the computer and quickly printed several pictures. Rushing back, she snatched up the tape and placed a new pictures up... these ones of Itachi. Her eyes widened as she realized she was going to need more closet space.
New installment
2 months later
Neji was ordered to go off on a B class mission with the other training genins. Sure enough Laura was getting bored with what had been placed in front of her and craved for something new, something dark, something more. Neji had been the black sheep of the group, gone his own way, with a 'heck care' attitude, yet he had changed. He had become one of the group, no longer wanting to be different but to help grow with the others. These past two months something weighed deeply upon her nerves, it was her eyes. Neji had perfect vision, he was able to see 360 degrees around him, except for one tiny spot, Laura always seemed to be in that position. In fact whenever she wanted to get Neji's attention he always seemed to have her in just the way that she would not be in sight. Laura wandered throughout the woods waiting for him to return, knowing that she would have to speak to him about her feelings. Her mind was not on the surroundings around her and she definitely didn't notice the dark and mysterious man waiting before her.
A dark chuckle arose from his throat and Laura shot her head in the direction of the noise, there standing before her was the dreaded Uchiha, Itachi. Laura took several steps backwards not knowing when Itachi would strike and kill her.
“Don't move,” Laura halted.
“What is your name, girl?” his voice mesmerized her and she complied in answering him, “Laura.”
Itachi grabbed hold of Laura's wrist and pulled her to him so their bodies were touching, “You, my dearest deserve,” he paused and pulled his other hand from behind his back and in a deep sensual tone he continued, “to have flowers.” The shock must have stopped Laura's heart, she was sure that a knife would have cascaded across her throat, her that she would be placed in a mental traumatizing event like watching Star Wars III over and over again for 72 hours. Gently she took the flowers from Itachi, they were slightly brown but considering who the flowers were coming from Laura had little room to complain.
“I have watched you from afar, Laura. Yearning to get you near, you've been around another some boy called Neji. He holds no bar to me, I could most certainly kill him with one glare of the eye. His b Byakugan holds nothing up to my Sharingan.”
Laura inhaled at the as she started into Itachi's eyes, she knew that he could see her, his eyes, with the level of his Sharingan astounded her and once again she found herself helpless... there was simply one more suggestion that Itachi needed to make before he would win her heart.
“I have a question for you Itachi, If you were to take me to see a movie, any movie.... what would it be?”
“The Chronicles of Riddick” of course.”
“Neji, I never knew that I would find you as attractive as I do. If only I had known what that Naruto quiz had told me oh so long ago we would have had so much more time together.” The woe in Laura's heart filled her to such extreme that tears started flowing from her eyes. Neji winced at the agony his one true love shown and he gently wiped the tears from her cheeks, “Why do you continue to beat yourself every day for what you did in the past, how could you have known that we would work so well together?” Laura's eyes widened, “The quiz, Neji! It knew you would bring me Pepsi products and that your eyes gave reason for my heart's beat to quicken! I laughed at first, I believed the coupling of Neji and myself to ridiculous I imagined a more sensible partnering of myself with Shikamaru, or even Kakashi, however, the you, Neji never... not once. But then, after I saw the results I admit, I laughed it off at first but I found myself thinking about it more and more. Surfing the web to locate images of your beauty, your eyes began to mystify me more and more. I said it was just because I started to find the niftiness of your character, at least, that's what I told all my friends, but they didn't know what I was really doing, that inside my closet, behind my shelf was a collage of your pictures. My own personal shrine. I found the Neji-lover inside of me and,” more tears swept down her face, “the fact that I denied you for this long tears away at me so!” It was at the time that Neji was wrapping his arms around Laura that her oh so cleverly hidden friend Lauren who had heard the last comment about Neji jumped around from the corner, pointed at Laura and shouted out, “I knew you were a closet-Neji lover!”
Her eyes stared into a far away dream as she absentmindly chewed on her lip. This action seemed to be a particular habit that she had, her lip giving all evidence needed to prove the above statement with several red lines running across her bottom lip, showing exactly where she had chewed one too many times. A pencil rested in her right hand as she pushed herself to think of what to jot down next. Her own sigh broke up the silence of the air around her, exasperated she tossed the pencil down.
Writer's block had grasped hold of her for another day.
So.... I wasn't in the best of moods today. I mean, everything was really hectic and I was angry and kinda sad at the same time.
I suppose it shown on my face because this person came up to me and was like, "Lauren, are you okay?"
and I looked up at them and said, "Well, I'm not in the best of moods right now."
that person then continued to say, "Lauren, you can't be in a bad mood, the reason why I like you is because I don't have to deal with a sour attitude when it comes to you.... just kidding."
Does placing a "just kidding" at the end of a sentence leave you null and void for any effects you leave on the person you spoke them to? Yeah, how about no.
It angered me because she impied that I'm not allowed to be anything but an in some kind of upbeat mood.
Well fuck, I'm not very diverse or complicated at all, am I? Silly me for thinking I could feel something different.
I wasn't asking for a session, you asked me if I was okay, I answered. Sorry I didn't give the predisposed, fine.
whatever. I'm just huffy right now.
Meep, I'm sick.
It's funny to hear me speak because I sound so hoarse.
Heh Heh, you should hear me take sup calls -_-.
I cannot stop listening to Naruto songs O.O
Work has been so up and uppity. I mean, I knew when I took the position that I would have to take care of people, no problem, I can do that, however, like I informed Stephanie, these people will not wipe their own asses without you holding the toliet paper!
So, who knows.
Would you ever, in your entire life ask your boss out on a date.... when it's against the policy.
Yeah, I didn't think so.
So another question is, why is it when I'm nice to guys they're just like, yeah whatever. Yet, when I scream at you and rip you to shreads you ask to make up for me getting mad by taking me out to a nice dinner? O.o
Yeah, don't understand that.
Like I would even accept, I cannot date you! I would get fired! You are not worth my pay check, bucko.
hee hee, I told him that too.
I think I'm becoming a little mean. 0.0
Not that people don't deserve it.
I'm starting to like certain teamleads ^.^, we've been getting along, they're swell.
My head is foggy.
*bounces along to naruto music*
I suppose I should write in here a little more, I guess I've been feeling lazy. Nanowrimo finished and Laura and I ran across the finish line, our fingers flying across the keyboard :), it was an amazing feeling.
Last year I finished nanowrimo on my computer alone, it was so nice to have my friends around me this year. This past month has been a month and a half, or perhaps 2 months, I think my body has finally shut down from it because I seriously believe that I just slept two days away waking for a brief period to go to work.
This Nano ment the world to me, it was completely reconnecting. It seriously brought people together this year.
Laura has been a wonder through it all :), I'm, personally, quite proud of her. I hope she knows that she has the support of all her friends around her.
She flippin' pushed me to do Nanowrimo when I struggled to know the very people I wrote about.
I'm very thankful for that ^.^.
~*~*~*
On a different note, I'm listening to the beauty that is David Bowie. I love his voice.... ouu, I so almost typed out voicemail, I really don't like that. I need a vacation from my job, bleh bleh, fingers fingers.
~~~~
I have a new idea for a story that I'm going to be typing out, I'm wondering how far this is going to go, but I don't know, I like this one. I'll poke around with it for a bit.
~~~
I suppose I'll stop typing now, I just feel as if I have more to say...
50212 thus far ;), that would be my current level of nanowrimo words. Makes me all happy and googily in side, Laura hit it ^.^ she finally made her goal ;).
So the group has been DDRing like mad crazy and oh has it been fun. I'm so excited about how every thing is going. Everything seems to be looking upward.
On a weird note...
I was coming out of quality uptraining today and my floor supervisor, Jackie, grabbed my shoulder, and I'm not saying you know, just like gentle grab, I'm saying tightly squeezing into my flesh to get me off to the side. 0.0
I had no clue what to exect, least of all what she actually said.
would you like to what she said?
^.^, she was like.... "I heard a rumor about you." my eyes widened and I attempted to look up at her as she continued to grasp my shoulder, "Oh yeah?" was my simple reply.
"Yes, I heard that you do tarot." she actually pronounced it correctly ^.^.
I laughed and affirmed that I did read, she continued on, "yes, but I heard you were fantastic about it, you know someone told me." first of all, who is talking about me, second of all, how did I get brought up into a conversation?! bah, what if she was one of those people who are snooty about those kind of things...
well, she was like, "I read palms as well, I heard you read those too?" I once again affirmed.
"I heard your fantastic at that as well." I laughed because, well, I don't know what to say back...should it have been something like, oh yeah, I really am superb? :-p.
Anywho she was like, I would love you do give me a reading, she went on and one about how she use to do readings but she's gotten out of it now because she just hasn't had the time and she's wanted to open up a store and she talking about how her and I would make great business partners and blah blah blah and she's a scorpio and she blah blah blah and wacky stuff and she said that she just can't seem to push herself to go through with it and she wants a reading concerning the blockage to see if there is anything she could do about it. So I was like... uhm, alright. No problem.
I told Jessica and she jumped to her wanting Jackie to read her palm -_-.
I don't know, Jackie just doesn't seem like the kind of person who I would trust reading my palm.... she's kinda, well, ditzy.
but that was a weird adventure.....
she said she'd make me brownies if I read her palm...
I don't really like brownies...
-_-
The cheese is in full bloom tonight.
So Strowie called me today, I wasn't expecting it, my nose was stuck in numbers, hundreds of numbers. Phone numbers at that. Not the most fun :-p :), however, the phone rang and it was a blocked call. So my first thought was that it must be Sarah, Stephanie's friend. I picked it up and was expecting to get into some silly talk about hookers and prostitution and me working the corner that night but it was Stroh.
Right away she sounded down and I asked her what was up and she strated telling me about Aaron. A flame of anger ignites through my body while writing that above sentence. She told me everything that's been going on and such.
She's going to talk to him, I think, I hope about how she's feeling. She wants the relationship to change, she doesn't want to leave him, but it seems like he's looking for an excuse to leave.
She's been having it rough lately. But eventually I got to cheer up a pinch and we laughed about certain things, I told her about what's been going on in my life.
She asked me about a certain someone *blush* and I told her what was going on with him and why I was worried about him. I insisted that she meet him sometime and she said she'd like to come to BW3 this upcoming Tuesday, as long as there's not a race she might need to attend to. Then she asked if I'd make an appearence with her at the car show her boyfriend is going to earlier that Tuesday, which I said I would.
Switching topics, the parents are up at the lake this weekend, they snatched my sister with her. Jake and I have been sharing the house. He's upstairs in his room though, lol, and I get the rest of the house. So it's been relaxing. I ordered us chinese for lunch and he went ahead and ordered pizza for dinner... me stuffed x_x.
It was raining earlier and I took a walk in it, oh it was fabulous and exhilerating.
I can hear Jimmy Stewart declaring his love for Margaret Sullavan in the background. It's his star of the day for TCM. Rear Window'll be on later ^.^, so will Vertigo. Ouu, which makes me want to go watch it because I just remembered the ending to Vertigo.
Life is the wheel of fortune. It has it's ups and downs. The wheel keeps spinning and eventually you'll find yourself on the bottom, then again, you'll spin around back to the top in the end. That's how the wheel goes, right?
Spin me round' wheel I'm ready for a new direction.
