High school is SO great. The only hard class that I have right now (only have four for this term, is Mythology, and that's only because of all the names and stories that I've got to remember. Latin is fun (I apparently speak my Latin with a German accent), English is the best (my teacher rocks!!), and Earth Science is also easy and fun though not as fun and easy as English.

I had alot of fun this summer in Germany. I visited family and old friends. It was my first visit to my birthplace in 4 years. Well, I didn't get to visit the hospital where I was born, but we needn't be over-technical. My wonderfully mean parents made me take the plane inbetween cities (from Dresden to Munich and from Munich to Berlin) instead of taking the usual transport, which is the train. Sure the train takes a long time, but taking the airplane costs alot more. And the only reasons my parents could give me for their desicions(sp?) were: 1. Some guy could lock me into the bathroom and ... 2. Somebody could murder me in the bathroom 3. Somebody could kill me on the train. 4.planes are faster 5. What if I was stuck sitting next a jerk or some guy who doesn't mean well?

Well, my response was an angry email and phone call. Almost everyone who I've asked so far agrees that the train would have been the best mode of transportation. But I couldn't change anything. My OH SO WONDERFUL dad booked my seat on the plane before I could argue the case anymore.

Good things that came out of this trip: Seeing my family and friends, going to a German-American festival, improving my German, getting to see new parts of Germany, including two little villages near Munich, getting my own email address (If you'd like to email me, just message me for the email address, getting a couch in my room (blue ofcourseand very comfortable), getting lots of spending money, getting to see the sights of Munich, Dresden, and Berlin, and getting to visit parts of those cities via the bus, subway, and streetcar system all BY MYSELF!!!

Ofcourse there were many other good things that I got to do and see. I can't wait to visit again. But first I want to see the USA and travel down Route 66. But that's going to be awhile yet.

I'm going away for most of the summer. I might have time to get on here, but I'm not sure. Don't mail me unless you're willing to wait for a bit for an answer.

I took all the tests that they have at www.sparknotes.com.
The tests are really funny. To take a test, go to www.sparknotes.com, then click sparklife near the top of the page and make a new account. You don't have to use your real email address, as long as you remember the email and password for future log-ins. The just take a test or two! They seem really accurate.

Life is so complicated. Today i realized for the first time, that maybe it's not a good thing for me to be constatly reading. Everytime i read a book, i absorb another person's story. I'm always thinking about those people and their stories. I often feel like when i'm not reading, i should be living a life like those people, or that my life is no where near as interesing as the lives of the most boring characters in the most boring books. Lately too, i've been wishing that i lived in England, and that i could experience a Season in the time right after Napolean. It would be SO interesting. Even if it meant having less fun, and less education, i think it would be wonderful.
