One of the funnies forum conversations in decades can be found here: sparkly usernames. Go, read, enjoy, all that. Comment, add. Be happy, be alive!
Y'know, this is why I've always thought that school sucked:

Yeah, kids, here's what you always wanted to have! Go ask your parents to buy them for you! They are... Lovecraft plush toys!

(I think you'll enjoy this one, Mir :D ).
As those of you that actually read the news already know, we've lost a lot of wiki coments, diary entries, forum postings and guestbooks messages data in a big crash (to be exact, from 12/06 to now).
I know that I had a few unanswered guestbook messages from you, you, you and you. So, if you could so nice as to write them again... :P
Oh, and be kind, rewind.
Taken from Viking's diary:
Yous should check out [Triola]'s house. She's got a drawing in there featuring me and [All_Most PUNK]!
GO. CHECK.
While going through some books in Amazon, checking reccomendation
Since it sounded interesting I started reaind some more and as I read more and more I kept thinking that there was only two or so punk rockers that could be the one discussing it (one was, of course, Greg Graffin; the other the Pennywise guy, whose name I can't recall right now). Of course, it was GG.
I think some of you may find this book interesting, particularly Viking and Elin.

Note: It seems the Pennywise guy isn't so interested in writing books about religion as in writing books about parenting:

Comics!
Because the always lovely [Mirime] asked for it (and her words are orders) some George R. R. Martin comics. Those of you who aren't reading his books should start. I did because of Mir and Viking's reccomendation

Mir, I'm working on two more uploads for you. One is the other Hedge Knights comics and the other had some troubles because I only found them in Spanish. But soon.
Also, I lost the last guestbook messages, if I had any. So if you had asked for any comic for me to upload or anything like that in the last 3 days or so, please re-send it to me.
In the last diary entry I had suggested that maybe it would be cool to upload "Fables" or "John Constantine - Hellblazer". What do you think?
I'm re-posting the Sandman links because the last diary entries got deleted in the ET problems.
Note that now they all are Direct Downloads, so you don't have to wait between downloads. Enjoy!

Since lately this diary has been kinda dramatic, let's try to change the pace a little.
Something pretty cool for you, you, you and yes, even you, to watch:
http://www.you
it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again
Foo Fighters - Times Like These
I'm kinda back after taking a few days off from here and from most of my activities too. I may take time to get back on track, though.
I had to skip a few posts and such and I'll get to message answering soon. Since most of the recent messages are about what happened, it may take a while till I feel in the mood, but I apprecciate all the nice words and thoughts and be sure that they are great to receive and that I love you all, my friends.
To all my friends, much gratitude.
Patricio
Things I discovered watching the tape of the rehearsal:
- Some of our songs are actually listeneable >_>
- I still suck at singing, but I suck a lot less than a couple years ago
- I sing "About a Girl" waaaaay too high. Need to correct that :P
- I make some faces while playing. I knew it (most people do) but I had never really seen them
Well, it half worked. You can see some results in my house. Can't make the sound work, though. But I'm too tired to keep fighting right now, so I'm going to sleep :P
I'm about to try something with my computer. This could turn out to be very frustrating or pretty nice. I'll let you know.
Y'know, I have no idea what it is, but can somebody give him whatever he's looking for, so maybe he'll shut up once and for all? Damn Bono!
Another diary entry, to lighten up the mood a little after the previous one >_>
A couple albums for you to download. And this is especially for you. And in this case the "you" is [ally].
Foo Fighters - In Your Honor (CD 1 and 2)

And one album more, one that I don't think anybody will be interested in, except maybe [Viking], but he probably already has it.
Suicidal Tendencies - Join The Army

Finally, here, the explanations for those cryptic last diary notes (no, not the albums nor the Dilbert ones).
As some of you know my stepfather (Dante) has been with some serious health issues for over a year and a half now. Some kind of cancer and I won't bore you with details for two reasons: one is that I really don't know a good part of the details since they are all very technical; also, there are words I don't know in English and I don't see the point of going into details so I don't see the point of looking for them in a dictionary. It's enough to say that it's located in the colon and the liver. It's pretty much under control, but it can't be operated at the time (essentially, because the liver can't be operated and if the colon was it would be taken again, because the liver would still be infected). Reality it's that it has been kinda hard for everyone. And his physical condition is far from good.
A month or so ago my mother got in touch with a doctor who suffers a very similar problem to Dante's. He's currently using an experimental drug with some good results, at least in the physical aspect (ergo, he may not be getting better from the disease but he feels a lot better, being able to live almost normally).
This drug, though, is only given in Cuba (it is given for free in three different institutes of the isle in 3 months rations) since that's where the experimentatio
So, essentially, we made the contacts and the cubans accepted Dante as patient (which means that they agreed to give us the medicine). Since he can't go there, I was about to travel there to get some of it. It was going to be one morning for visiting the medical center and then I was going to stay a couple days more just to know the place (which should be pretty interesting).
But the person who told about the medicine called us last Saturday and said that he was going to go there to get it and that he would bring it to us. They have organized a pool (if that's the word) with other patiens and one flies every 3 months and brings the thing for everybody. So I'm on the list now and will probably go there at some point.
As I said in my original diary entry, it wasn't a pleasure trip, but it would have been interesting nevertheless.
