May today be a historical event? May it be? I'm not sure, but there are chances. May today be the first day that an elftowner interviewed another for a radio programm on a national radio? I think there are good chances for that.

I don't have the audio of me interviewing [Moonknight] yet, but I'll upload when have it. And then Santi can translate it :P

Because [ally] wanted it, here you have Kaiser Chiefs' "Employment" (In my opinion, one of the best albums of 2005).

http://rapidshare.com/files/62611537/Kaiser_Chiefs_-_Employment.zip

Because [iippo] has computer issues, another version of Green Day's "Dookie" (This time in a zip file).

And because I love all of you and want to share my good music with "the people", The Cure's "The Cure" (their last release so far. And a very good album too) and Mighty Mighty Bosstones "Let's Face It" (Some hardcore ska with social conscience and amazing lyrics).

I have a certain feeling that maybe, maaaybeee, giving Vorkje permission to play with my house wasn't such a hot idea. Don't ask me why, it's just a feeling.

The "need to make changes on my house" things has had an unexpected development: I'm letting Vorkje free on my house to do whatever she wants. So, you know, it's all her fault, whatever happens O_O

I think I need to make some changes to my house. But I don't know what to do with it. Ideas are welcomed.

[Linderel] told me that she had some lyrics several months ago. I tried to ruin them by adding guitars and singing :P Check this wiki for the results Lamisongs by Punk.

Hey, Viking, I found a song about zombies!

As I live and breathe
You have killed me, you have killed me
Yes, I walk around, somehow
You have killed me, you have killed me

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly

I'm sorry to be the one who has to tell you this, kids, but that just isn't truth. No matter how much you believe and hope the impossible usually stays impossible. To make things worse, usually the "simply hard to achieve" also stays impossible. And don't make me start on the "simple and near your hand to grab" because then we would really get depressed.
The only thing that we can't allow ourselves is to not try. If you don't, then what's the point of even living? So it doesn't really matter the end, what matters is the path and how you walk it.
There's probably not a finish line. We don't live to one day look back and say "Wow, Ï'm where I wanted to be". We live to live and realization comes in every moment of happiness we may have, in every time we do what we want, in every little triumph. Because life is always in motion till you die.

It's quoting time! This one is from the always interesting [iippo]:

"the opposite of social communication is anti-social communication. That includes shouting swear-words, kicking trashcans, sniffing glue and throwing bottles. Beating up gay people is a dialect of it."

Perception is a bitch.

I read a book by Scott Adams last night named "God's Debris: A thought experiment". It's pretty interesting, while I disagree with lots of things said in there. After reading it, of course, sleeping was quite hard since I kept playing with some of the concepts in my head. It would have been great for a little chit-chat about perception that we had in one of the forums couple days ago.

Keep in mind, everything is relative and ever changing, including the past, present, life, death and everything in between.

Because something that is being talked in one of the forums reminded me of this, one of the best Mr T Experience lyrics, a piece of pure genius sang to a very rock and roll tune:

The Complicated History Of The Concept Of The Soul

Homer didn't have a comprehensive word for mind.
the psyche and the conscious self had not yet been combined.
He understood events as repetition of the past,
and individual consciousness was not a part of that.
But early Greek thought played a role in the complicate history of the concept of the soul.1

By the time of Plato these ideas had taken shape.
The Phaedo and Timaeus are works which demonstrate
the consious separation of the knower from the known
and the dual nature of the body and the soul.
Modern thought was possible:
It's the complicated history of the concept of the soul.
Whoa!

Pythagoras and Orphic doctrines all came into play,
because Plato was a mystic in his own Platonic way.
The pre-Socratic Naturalists saw things in terms of "stuff".
But Plato's metaphysics showed that this was not enough.
This is the incredible complicated history of the concept of the soul.
Rock and roll.2
