Xtian (at crucifixion): <snif> It’s a shame he has to die
Jesus (shouting from cross): Well maybe I wouldn’t have to die if somebody would get a LADDER and a pair of PLIERS!!

  ― Kinison

Christianity simply does not make sense until you have faced the sort of facts I have been describing. Christianity tells people to repent and promises them forgiveness. It therefore has nothing (as far as I know) to say to people who do not know they have done anything to repent of and who do not feel that they need forgiveness.

― C.S. Lewis, in Mere Xtianity

An atheist is a man who has no invisible means of support.

― John Buchan (1875‐1940) British author, statesman

  gullibility + arrogance = Unshakable faith = −common sense

  ― Scott Davies

If only God would give me some clear sign! Like making a large deposit in my name at a Swiss Bank.

  ― Woody Allen

The weather here is being a loony. Only few weeks ago it was snowy everywhere. But now the snow's disappeared somewhere. Grass is visible again, only few traces of snow left. I miss the snooow, I wish it would just come back. I'm going insane if there's no snow on Christmas... I've never spent a Christmas so far without snow, and it's going to hard for em to expect otherwise. So I expect Santa Claus to do his best with the snow-making.

So I met my father today. It went pretty well actually, which was positively surprising. We talked about Christmas plans etc . We're going to take a cruice to Stockholm during the next weeks I think, not sure of the time yet.

He bought me Poets of the fall's and the Smiths' cds ^^

We went by tram to the Silja Line terminal and we asked the prizes of a trip to Stockholm before Christmas. Looks pretty good in my opinion, I can't wait to go to Sweden instead of the usual cruice to Tallinn that I've gotten used to so many times during the years....

He then went home by taxi. I said to him that I was still going to walk around a bit. So I walked back towards to the Central railway station... which took about 15 minutes since I walked pretty slowly. The weather was chilly and windy and rain was dripping a bit. But I was listening to Reel around the fountain by the Smiths on repeat so that kept my spirit up. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05wd1FJ6GCE)

That's about it now. Good rest of the night.

Final Battle:
Shigeru Umbeyashi - Polonaise (hmmm, it's a beautiful song. Doesn't really cry out 'ready for battle'...)

Death Scene:

Another new this has opped up there. That: ' Simple URL: http://elftown.eu/130902' text.. :O

And now about my day.
I met my father today. It actaully went pretty okay. Which is surprising. Usually after seeing him I'm a bit sad and depressed since he's been the usual moron as always... but somehow it wasn't like that today. I'm quite shocked about that. I don't know how to react to this since it happens so rarely, I'm going through confusing feelings... I
We met at Kappi's Service central, there was some kind of a church-related flea market. I found one Oscar Wilde book there and I found one Donald Duck comic that I hadn't read before. Also, somehow my father convinced me to take these two plates and a black coffee cup with me.... since they were free :O So that put a little pressure to my shoulders. Also I found this really cool Viking dude. :p That was fun.

after that, I went to Tunnelin levy to buy 2 Scandinavian Music Group's cds taht I didn't have already....

and when I came home, I fell to my bed and fell asleep almost instantly. I just woke up. and now... I'm going to walk Pete in few minutes I suppose.

This should be all I suppose. Good rest of the evening to whoever's reading this.

Some thing funny is going on with elftown... *scratches head with confusion*
The diaries are different now. I can't be the only one who's noticed this.
Look above your diary entry box - and there it is. That diary entry number, see it up there? Left upper corner??
Now it's green - and when I press it goes all WHOOOOM on me 8)
Also the 'View comments' button is new :O

It's 8 am in the morning. I woke up at some ungodly hour and have been awake ever since downloading stuff.
That will explain it all... It's been really fun! I also found this DivX thing which allows me to see movies that I download from TPB so I got the extended edition LOTR trilogy and Infernal Affairs 1. Now the only thing I need to learn is how to add the subtitles to it...

And another thing that I have been meaning to talk about.
Hollywood is making a ripoff of Infernal Affairs http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/. The ripoff's name is 'the Departed' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407887/ starring Leonardo Dicaprio.

American movie industry's usual trick nowardays is take the plot of a GREAT foreign movie and make their own version of it...
Why the hell can't they just release the Infernal Affairs trilogy there?? Why be unimaginative morons and ripoff a masterpiece???

If they make a bloody remake of In the Mood for Love or 2046, I swear I won't be resposible for my actions.

Taken from [Monk of Boom]'s diary
"tahdon päivän jolloin uskovaiset pitävät uskontoaan uskona, eivät tietona - ja sen myötä ovat suvaitsevaisia toisin uskovia kohtaan"

pretty much this means...
"I want a day when believers consider their religion as a belief, not a fact - and by that are tolerant towards others who believe differently."
