It's been a while since I last updated. I have some good news. I made some friends in real life. My mom and I started going to a new church, First Alliance church, and we really like the preacher's message. He is helping people with their faults. I think God can help me and cure me of my laziness and other bad habits. I went bowling last Sunday with soem of the other girls from my bible study class. We had a good time. I am making friends with the people in my bible study class. I hope I can have some friends over for my birthday, my birthday is on the 29th of this month. My dad came home yesterday, I'm glad I get to see him. My cat and cockatiel have been sweet pets. I love them, they are my babies.

Oh, btw, I have been going to church a lot more. On Sunday I went to first alliance church, then after that I went out to eat with my rents, I love seafood. Then we went to a bird show, which wa s really nice they had so many colorful and beautiful birds there. I like birds, but I like cats, dogs, and horses too. I got to pet some of the friendly birds. They were so pretty. After that I went to a bible class Sunday evening. We learned about how to get closer to God. I read a book by Max Lucado called "On the Anvil", about Christians being instruemnts for God's purpose. We must be sharpened and refined so we are ready for God's work.

Mom made a good southern breakfast today, and I helped her. Now I have to do the dishes, I loaded most of them in the dishwasher. My cat Crissy is cute, she likes to sleep on my bed and she's so cuddly. My cockatiel Precious has been grumpy, he bites at me when I go to pet him. Yesterday I psent some time practicing drawing facial features. I need to work on drawing faces and the human figure a lot. So I am going to practice more. I would really like more comments in my gallery, my pics can't be that bad.

Today I feel much better, less like a looser, I've been in blue funk this week, and probably last week too. I have tried to pull myself up, and I think this coming week will be much better. I don't know what I'm going to do for Halloween, no kids come trick-or-treating to our house anymore. I could put on my Renaissance dress and princess hat and go to the mall. It makes no sense to have that beautiful costume Mom made and not be able to wear it. I'd like to redraw and repaint several of my pictures in my elfwood gallery that I think look wrong. Maybe once I improve things I will be able to get more comments and perhaps I could get lucky enough to get a mod's choice.
