So last night...

I'm waiting for Manny to get back to his desk from a meeting at work, meanwhile I have my music blaring and I'm just blah and hungry, browsing Deviantart. I hear someone yell for me, so of course, I'm like "What??" I thought it could be our roommate, but he's not normally home till later. I walk partially down the stairs till I can see Manny's face. Again, "What?"

Manny: "Come here, come down." I do, still staring at him. He points to the table.

I stop in my tracks with a O.O face.

On the table in a little bed is a tiny poodle face staring at me. I start crying of course, because I didn't think we were going to get one for a while due to our move. So I'm sobbing with this adorable little thing in my lap, licking up my tears rather happily. So... I'm a dog owner now :)

rather shitty pictures of him, but I'll be making a wiki for him later ;) Also, we named him Proof. Manny's family has a tradition of naming their dogs after hard liquor, but Brandi or Rum didn't sound like him. So Manny thought up Proof, like 40 proof or 80proof. Completely fit the little rascal. I'm so happy!

Well, my beloved conure is gone. I sold him to a very nice stay at home mom, who will spoil him beyond belief. The reason I sold him is because I am moving in with Manny for the summer, and I couldn't take him with me, nor could I leave him with my mom. This will actually be better for him, because he is still young enough to bond, and he is not aggressive (yet). I wasn't spending the time he needed with him, and in the long run, if manny and i were to move in together permanently, I would have had to sell him then, which would have been harder for both me and Piper.

I'm a little sad, but happy for him at the same time. Another door closed as the door of my future opens.

So... my weekend was pretty fun. Friday night went out to dinner with Manny, Sam Witwer (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1022429/), and some of his friends. Kinda cool to meet the apprentice from the Force Unleashed games. They were all hilarious, my kind of humor.

Sat saw Clash of the Titans. Pretty good movie I would say, but I never felt the main character was in that much danger, even though the action scenes were crazy sick with amazing CG. Not to mention his acting did get a little better from Avatar. Sun, went home. The end.
