Hating this life
I make myself numb
Hurting my family
By consuming more drugs

I think of no one
Save for myself
Never before
Considering the angels

People in my life
Trying to save me from pain
Are easily ignored
And then I runaway

You stepped in my path
From you I find no escape
Helping me to laugh
You ease my pain

I thank you
For making me see
That the real angels
Rest deep inside of me
