NaNoWriMo begins!!!

I have made a small start as I seem to have contracted some strain of influenza on lovely, lovely Halloween. I'll be damned, however, if it isn't 6 in the morning and I don't get SOMETHING done! Yes, damnation! I shaall damn myself for failing.

I hope all of my NaNoWriMo buddies (*hugs them all*) are off to a wonderful start!!

*falls back into bed to further ponder the opening of her novel*

Teletubbies

Looks as if TV’s Teletubbies have found a much-needed tube for their bouts of icky energy: exercise. The new Teletubbies ‘Get Up and castrate !” fitness initiative, endorsed by the National Association of nuts and five other youth cottage cheese organizations. This is in response to screaming concerns about cowhorse obesity and the lack of exercise in Frank ’s lives. According to the most recent government statistics, 10 of American children are sticky . In addition to fitness-themed books and audio-cassettes, TV’s bubbly foursome star in Go! gouge With the Teletubbies, an exercise video that scrape on PBS.

Amusement Parks
An amusement park is always fun to visit on a hot summer
heroine. When you get there, you can rent a
strap-on and go for a swim. And there are lots of
freaky things to eat. You can start off with a hot dog on
a/an navel with mustard, relish, and nipples
on it. Then you can have a buttered ear of arachnotron with a
nice sleezy slice of watermelon and a big bottle of
cold degreaser. When you are full, it's time to go on the
roller coaster, which should settle your K-Y.
Other amusement park rides are the Dodge-Em which has little
knockers, that you drive and run into other Republicans,
and the Merry-Go-Round where you can sit on a big steel
and try to grab the gold tire as you ride past.

Copernicus
Four hundred years ago people knew little about our
smelly universe. They thought that the earth was the
center of the entire toilet and that the sun and all of the
crappers revolved around it. But then a/an
peuro rican named Copernicus discovered the truth.
The earth revolves around the frank
40 times a year.
Copernicus, whose last name was Wolfe, was born
in Warsaw, and he used one of the first hairy
telescopes, which was invented by Laura.
This primitive telescope was little more than two pieces of
cheesecake stuck on each end of a/an panties.
In 1600 an Italian butcher named Galileo
expanded Copernicus's watery theories, but during the
Inquisition in Italy he was pokingly arrested. After
honking for six months in jail, Galileo was
forced to speed.

     “Tenseiga's Will"

I am here, he thought. His eyes glanced to his left and to his right, and in that time he knew each detail of his surroundings.
I shall not leave without her. Sesshoumaru never desires any harm to come to the girl.

******

Sesshoumaru sama will come for me. Sesshoumaru sama always comes for me, she repeated to herself. It had become a litany to live by, it was never false. If her Lord was not immediately there he was tracking her, calculating his movements.

“Inu scum, what will you do when her life has faded yet you are still so vital?”

Sesshoumaru sama, she breathed to herself with great joy.

******

Sesshoumaru only dead-locked his stare upon his enemy's sneering face. He looked stoic, he looked icy, but he never looked frightened. Not when his honor lay in the balance.

But the death of his honor was not an issue here. Sesshoumaru had already chosen several openings to incapacitate his oponent without so much as scratching the girl. Toukijn howled for blood, but Sesshoumaru did not relent. The graceless fool who tried to pose as an enemy was fated to fall by Sesshoumaru's claws.

In his mononoke stealth, he dashed forward in a single, nearly invisible fluid motion and upon approach his claws dripped with green poison. The corrosion was set deep within his pathetic foe long before he might catch a glimpse of the two inuyoukai markings glowing through the skin on Sesshoumaru's forearm. Their faces were only inches apart; the look in the dead man's eyes was satisfying enough to Sesshoumaru. Meanwhile, the girl wriggled safely away from the poison of her Master.

It was just another day travelling with her Lord.

*listens to the beauty that is Narita Ken's voice*
I have a thing for voices; yes, anyone who knows me well knows this fact about me. They can make a man (or woman) beautiful or repulsive depending on the appeal of his/her voice. And believe me, it's hard to explain what makes a voice 'pretty' to me...deep, hoarse, smooth, vibrant, shrill...who knows! I just know that there are voices, I have heard them and I just *melt* inside. I get this feeling, in my stomach and in my chest; it's moving to hear something so beautiful.

Honestly, that is one thing I love about my own husband, his voice is wonderful!! So it's one thing that attracts me. Yes, and sadly, that is how I aquired the rather odd habit of felling for drawn characters. I, Laura, have more than twice fostered crushes for cartoon characters. This habit actually led me to realize just how attractive voices are to me. I had to ask myself: What is it that made me crush on this particular character, as a child or in the present? It's their style, sure, their colours, also: but, I found the answer, the most telling characterisitc was in the speech.

I have a thing for voices, and now I am all that more keen when listening to people speak.

So, this little rant was fueled by the fact that I *adore* the man who voices Sesshoumaru sama in Inuyasha. His name: Narita Ken (actually Tsutomu.) I have noticed that a few of my favorite voices come from Japan--male and female alike, mind you! It's the voices and the language spoken by them.

I am *enthralled* by the language of Japan, it's wonderful. It's beautiful! I love using English, as harsh as it may sound at times, and I love my native tongue; but oh! How I would love to speak it, to think it, even!

You know, the thought process always occurs in your dominant language. It would please me to learn Japanese and be able to think in either English or Japanese.
I have quite a task ahead of me. All this from a few lines, colours and beautiful voices!!

^.^

"Doushite doushite na no ka
Kokoro yuragu wake"--Narita Ken (as Sesshoumaru sama) singing "Gou"
*tear* I have no words to explain how this makes me feel...

For anybody, any of my friends or any passers-by, who like InuYasha and have seen the 3rd movie, I have a poll. It's actually my first, and I imagine that my polls will probably only have to do with InuYasha. ^.^

What would change, if I spoke those words?

It's so true, and how pathetic!

This is what loneliness does,

makes distances more apparent and brings people together.

My heart is a vile thing,

but not so lowly as my mind. Vagrant! Bereft.

It's all I want, I want to feel again.

It's all...
