01:01 — We left Joensuu at about 14, made a stop first at a friend of our parents, then at my dad's mom, then a gas station for fuel and then another gas station for a map. We were taking a weird route and no one told me I should turn to Hanko when we were supposed to be heading for Tampere. Additionally, we were playing silly word games, so no one noticed when we just drove on. After about 50 km dad noticed it, we stopped, turned around and took yet another route. We got home at about 20 to midnight, which was the purpose anyway.
The house is cold, but nicely so. There's nothing quite like your own bed, room, computer, shower, toilet, space and net connection. Okay, I'm lying about the net connection. Ours is sucky at this time of year.
22:53 — I moved small logs around today. There's a big pile of them on my granny's back yard, and we needed to move them to the shed and behind it. Well, after the first session we ate and played a card game where one part requires that you slap the pile of cards with your hand, testing which player's reflexes are best... well, my dad randomly came to slap one pile. People always go there with nails first. I clawed [Gastogh] first some days ago, my parents clawed each other and on that particular time my dad clawed me, and there's a huge surface cut on my pinky finger now. Therefore I decided not to go move logs around anymore. Geez, this cut is nearly as long as the first part of my finger! It's kinda sore but at least it doesn't really hurt. Next card game: "More injuries!"
We'll be going to Kitee tomorrow and then back home, hopefully before midnight or it'll be the day after tomorrow.
Argh! What if someone has stolen my computer from home? Gaa! Gaa!
22:36 — So I'm in Joensuu leeching off my aunt's connection. I have to sleep in a princess cousin's room, but at least it's all mine! Buhahaha. Sleep. X-Files. Prooogram.
22:40 — So, gift stash. Too big a T-shirt, gift card worth 25 €, 30 € money, a questionable DVD and a Lego bike. http://elftown
18:04 — Damn powerouts. No school for two weeks! Whee! But damnit, I have to go to my uncle and princess cousin at 16 tomorrow. Oh well, at least there'll be food, though I won't like mot of it. Then we have to go to Joensuu, and I'll have to operate the internet through my dreadful GPRS connection. >_> Oh well, at least I'll have a connection. Hopefully.
19:21 — In other news, I just watched Narnia. Yay.
20:23 — In case anyone cared, I feel much better now. Whoo. No physics lectures on Thursday, even if that means I gotta go there at 8 tomorrow.
Some time ago I got a new shelf and organized the empty boxes I have stored on the top of my shelves. I detached my small shelves, took two away and reattached the third. I attached it right by the door at a height where I wouldn't hit my head on it even if I were bouncy. Now, that's crucial because I'm not that tall. I specifically told this to my parents because I thought it was funny. Now, today my dad came into my room and when he left, he hit his head on the shelf, just like I planned. I was amused as hell. XD
22:48 — I spend too much time not-sleeping during schoolweeks. Three toes on my right foot are being infectious assholes. I have to say though that I'm more concerned about my mom's reaction to it than the whole thing itself.
OMFGG. Gollum porn. >__> Hah, caught your attention? :P
22:42 — I was really damn pissed yesterday. However, no, The RPG Incident didn't cause it, but bloody damnit that didn't make things better either. I think it's actually good that I've now fogotten what made things so bloody crappy yesterday. I know the several factors involved, but not the actual cause unless it is something of the several factors. I can't really remember much. Nevertheless, I felt totally crap yesterday right from the morning as far as I remember. Blah blah blah.
I drew a lot too. At least that made me feel better. I continued that today. I drew six or seven sketches and threw them around at people in digital form. Here's a sketch of a healed Vineg if you didn't happen to have enough of that. http://elftown
15:43 — Whee! Whee! I bought a new keyboard, USB hub and an Elfquest comic. Bounce. No more worn out keys.
14:54 — Water came back about 10 hours after it was cut. Which was a long time ago already, but thought it'd be worth meantioning. In other news, I've been programming a lot. Whee :D
21:24 — Kudos to our water-distribu
17:04 — Murphy pwned me today. Actually it started already yesterday, when I started seriously working on another new programming assignment. "Make a program that prints the nth line of Pascal's triangle, with three functions." Okay, I wrote that, except it only had one function for the factorial and I couldn't figure out any other reasonable function. Any more would also increase the program's length. Let's give a hand to the program designer.
Today I drove to the university, and after I was done there, I'd got get [Gastogh] from school. Okay, I left the university late. Then it seemed like rush hour in traffic. After a few kilometers all the snow from the top of my car bulked on my windshield when I decelerated, because I hadn't wiped it off because that had never happened to me. The car wipers were far too puny to wipe that mass off. Fortunately I could still make a left to a relatively peaceful road (from the highway!), but after that left turn the road turned right and I saw nothing. Well, I stopped, cleaned the damn windshield, turned around and continued is the rush hour. Which made me arrive damn late, naturally. Krhm... if you're late, Murphy makes sure to take everything out of it and make you arrive even more late.
Okay, back to programming now.
01:16 — My internet is being a total ASSHOLE! Bloody damned fucker mumble mumble...
23:53 — Today I went to the math course 2 exam. Didn't go as well as the first one, meaning I'm certain I don't get full points and I couldn't answer to one part of one exercise, and I think two other parts of other exercises are a bit fumbled. Either way, I think I'll pass at least. The roads were slippery and it's started snowing full-time. Sort of. I've cleaned the yard twice already, and damn that snow's heavy. And the damn bushes/trees in front of our front yard (they grow in the gutter, or more precisely right between the gutter and the grassy part of the yard) bend to the yard so that I can't really push the loads of snow where it belongs because otherwise I'll damage the tree things and/or it becomes even harder to push the snow further away. Oh well.
Secondly, I watched a British documentary called "Secret Intersex". I suppose it was okay, but sure can't beat the internet when it comes to information. I suppose it's good that it gave a mostly personal view from the people, though, which is something I haven't yet quite ound in the net yet. Then again, there were parts in it that I just shook my head at. And let's not talk about the Finnish translation. English is a crappy language and they didn't try to hide it in the documentary, but the Finnish translator couldn't even have bothered to check how "correct" the terms were... Oh well, at least I know that Finnish is awesome.
I need a keyboard that makes less noise. This damn thing is hurting my ears, damnit.
...</crap>
23:18 — I have seen Ghost in the shell 2. Whee.
00:59 — Excuse me while I squee. I'm way too damn fascinated about telepaths. I've been sitting here, reading a book about things set in the universe of Babylon 5, and the stuff about telepaths. I want more, damnit. Why can't there be hundred books instead of three? I suppose the book isn't written that well, stars know how I could ever notice such a thing, but I'm so interested in telepathy that I'd read anything half-decent anyway.
More to the point, why does the idea of telepathy fascinate me so much? I suppose it's either a personal quirk or something or then I'm just so socially inept when it comes to people that telepathy starts sounding way too nice.
Now excuse me while I fantasize about telepaths.
17:55 — The darkness caught me once again. I thought it was about 20 or something, even though I just got up at around half to 12. Either way, it started snowing yesterday and we have a niiice pile on the ground. I did the physics half-exam and while it certainly could've gone better, it also could've gone worse. Semi-sensible answers to 4 of the 5 questions isn't that bad, I suppose. And the one question where I didn't get an answer, I drew free-body diagrams and called it good. Maybe I'll get a point for that. I ate too much candy, but staying in bed 11 hours kinda drained that out anyway.
18:32 — You know what? http://www.liv
Currently I'm really liking that we call the vacation joulu (literally Yule). To me it means 2 weeks to role-play, write, draw and program!
21:15 — And I spent another 12 hours in school. Left home at about 9, did math from 10 to 11, had programming lecture from 12 to 14 and played from 15 to 20. 5 awesome hours of gaming! There was one scene where we players just laughed our lungs out. Our characters had tied up a conscious gnoll who had surrendered and left it lying about while they went out to explore a teleporting device thing. Well, that 5-headed hydra thing didn't look nice, so they decided to leave. They searched a tunnel that had a damn huge spider in there and then thought it would be a jolly good idea to feed the gnoll to the spider! Well, they argued there for a moment about who's going to throw it to the spider and thought maybe they should just use the teleport or just kill it and then throw it to the spider. Okay, then we laughed like hell. Eventually our characters did throw the gnoll to the spider, but the ranger started feeling pity and wasted three arrows to shoot the gnoll dead anyway. And we laughed.
18:29 — I thought for a long time nothing drastic ever happened around me or my family... But yesterday I heard that in 1999 (or something) a friend of my parents had committed suicide by shooting. Oh woe!
Krhm. Yeah. Big whoopee.
12:39 — Hey! It's Transgender Day of Remembrance! http://www.gen
00:36 — Holy fucking stars. >_> Okay. Moomins. Porn. Just no.
I'll be forever traumatized by that picture I saw on the net! Waaah!
