I wish to move,
with the shadows or
as the wind does
I want the strength to
battle as fierce as all
the jungle creatures
the power
to fly and have breath
under the sea
I seek to be as independent
as the wolf
to speak with a tongue
that’s as sly as a snake
and as beautiful
as a thousand birds
singing their morning song
I wish to be as beautiful as
a patch of wild roses
graceful as a swan
magical as the mystical
But these are only my
My Wants, My Hopes
My Dreams, Mere Goals
But all this does
not really add up for
what I need
for what I need you can
never own
I shall never own
for what I need
what I seek
you do not own
you treasure
it is not a possession
it is a feeling
for it is
True Love

heres a poem i wrote
You
I want to talk to you,
yet I can’t.
You come close to me.
I tremble with memories,
I won’t let you ruin me,
I don’t have a choice,
Your eyes are so beautiful,
Yet you hurt me and cannot see,
Let me go,
Set me free,
No! you snap,
But do not speak,
So I move on,
A peace of my heart still missing,
But growing stronger,
But still my sole cry’s out for,
HELP!!

Dumb laws
My essay is on the many dumb laws that we still have in today world. I will talk about dumb laws in the united states, the ones that we still have in Canada, and of some stories that I encountered of the dumb laws can be of a use for the benefit of the accused.
The United States is a bad one for having many unfair laws. For example in the state of Texas your garden hose must be no less than 4 feet long, In Schaumburg, Illinois it is illegal to fly a kite. Talk about ruining the children’s fun. Have you ever tried cutting off your arm to make someone feel sorry for you, well if you live in Alabama just for get it hunny cause that’s strictly ageist the law. Seriously do you think you would even be alive to be charge?!?! I really think that we need to get someone in her to thoroughly go though these laws and discard of the ones that shouldn’t be here!
Canada I think is awfully good at getting rid of all of the dumb laws although we still have some flaws in our generation today. A few examples would be that in Toronto, it’s illegal to drag a dead horse down Yonge on a Sunday I can under stand that one if anyone would ever actually do it I hope not! Also in Nova Scotia the poor soles can’t even water their lawn on a day its already raining uh duh, And in are own little province of B.C. it’s illegal to kill a Sasquatch, so boys call up your friends and cancel that spacial hunting trip cause you just might get sewed!
Well looking around for some information on the web for my paragraphs I stumbled across an interesting story about a man that had just gotten out of prison. "A man had been in prison for some time. During his stay, he studied huge books of laws, one of them being of the state laws in which he was imprisoned. At his release, he demanded gold pieces and a horse w/wagon. At first, all the officers did laugh and then seeing that he was serious, they refused. So, this 'ex-convict' took this case to court, and after a number of trials he won his case, and did in fact receive his horse w/wagon and gold pieces. He accomplished this all because he stumbled across some old state law that stated that upon a mans' release from jail he should be given these items. (When the law was written it was meant as means of survival . . . ) They had to give it to him, because it was the law! Of course, they immediately revoked this law after this case, but it doesn't change the fact that they had been beaten badly at their own game." So as you can see these dumb laws can some times be used for the better. So even though this person could have been greedy, trying to get back at the government, or trying too prov. to the government that they should really look over and delete some of their older rules well never know.
Now my paragraph on the dumb laws has come to an end. So after all of my arguing about the silly rules this world still has, and the story of the man. It’s our turn to go and live are life’s with the satisfaction of knowing that we will probably never have all of the dumb laws gone. But, hey we can always have hope can’t we?
