I finally found the lyrics to my "token" song 99 Red Balloons x.x turns out its been covered about 70+ times! most notably by Badfinger it seems, but i say nothing beats the original by Nena (Or Nina, not sure how ya spell it) anyhow, the lyrics are powerful enough even without the music, but i can assure you with music its twice as good scratch that awesome scratch that GODLY! X.x

You and I in a little toy shop
Buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got
Set them free at the break of dawn
'Til one by one they were gone
Back at base, bugs in the software
Flash the message, something's out there
Floating in the summer sky
Ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine red balloons
Floating in the summer sky
Panic bells, it's red alert
There's something here from somewhere else
The war machine springs to life
Opens up one eager eye
Focusing it on the sky
As ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine decisions treat
Ninety-nine ministers meet
To worry, worry, super scurry
Call out the troops now in a hurry
This is what we've waited for
This is it, boys, this is war
The President is on the line
As ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine dreams I have had
And every one a red balloon
It's all over, and I'm standing pretty
In the dust that was a city
I could find a souvenir
Just to prove the world was here
Here it is, a red balloon
I think of you and let it go

Ahhh... I had let this song fall to the recesses of my memory, but the beat that matches that of my soul has returned... the song of the world celebrating cut short by an apocalyptic atomic bombing, the 99 red baloons flying free of the dead childs hand is eerie, but a solemn reminder of what will be if we do not fight to protect against it. The music is the total opposite of the stark meaning of the lyrics, a synthesized chorus that could lighten anyones soul...

I just wrote a poem for english and its good enough that I feel like sharing =P enjoy "Listen to the Beat of My Soul"

Light and Dark forever fight
to claim the law and test their might.
They clash in a neverending war
that must go on forevermore.
Dark uses hate and anger to call
those who would help them doom us all.
Light shall drive the darkness back;
the truith with passion drives out the black.
If Light should ever stumble and fall
then Darkness shall cast its deadly paul;
but if the just will head the call
the good shall stand unshakably tall.
Heed my words or pay the toll,
and Listen to the Beat of My Soul.

Ahhh... gotta love being an upperclassmen during standardized testing. the tranquility of the classrooms, the free time, the lack of freshmen in the hallways... its amazing how much you yell at 'em when your not one anymore =/ we think were cool but if we look back we see we're the lamers everyone told us we were.
Everyones trying to start up RP in the general chatrooms. Wish they'd hurry up, my fighting skills are going to waste. so many things left unburnt and unbroken. =P
Maybe I should start filling some part of my profile with all these storys Im writing to fill up my school journal. or maybe I'll stick that into my web profile and let Freewebs handle that

Hm, so many things to think of, too bad my heads mostly fuzz with lotsa empty space. As soon as I get that scanner I'll have to fill this public hole-in-my-head with my low quality scribbles I make of my same character or two on half-sheets of binder-punched, lined paper.
Id like to see more furrys responding to my stuff, must not be in the right chatrooms. This makes me realize all the pros and cons of Battle.Net roleplay life. Convienient chat forums, gameplay capabilitys, recognition, and all the people I've met there.
On the other end of the tail, they don't give you much of anything for your profile, you have almost no spam protection, and you cant delete posts you wish you hadn't sent.
Se La Vi. This will all either work for me or it won't. At the very least I can bum around and find some cool fur art to snag.
